Black Terry Jr.

Full house, but small arena (~2,500) Edit: Dorian says they drew 5,132.

Opener was a dark match. Sairus & Oriental are Arena Aficion regulars.

Octagoncito got Abismo Negro.

Despite Tirantes and Jennifer Blake both helping Sexy Star, Mari Apache still squashed her with a top rope senton con giro for the win. AAA’s recap makes it sound like the feud is over and the next challenger won’t be Sexi Star.

Militia finally got new military outfits. As usual, new gear = win. Decnnis offered a spot in the Milita to the Air Force, but Laredo Kid said no on behalf of the team. We really could use a Super Fly reaction to this, but there’s no mention of it in the recaps.

Before the semimain, Konnan again asked Electroshock to join the Legion. Electro said Konnan did live up to his promises last time Electro was in the Legion. Electro was about to give his answer when Heavy Metal’s music cut him off. Match was a chair smashing, table breaking bloody match. Electroshock smashed a guitar on Metal’s head and powerbombed him for the win. Konnan and the Militia ran out after the match (banned during the match?), 187 ran off, and everyone beat up Heavy Metal. Sucks to be Heavy Metal. Konnan asked Electro again, and Electro asked for one more week (which is more like 9 days.) 187 yelled at Konnan from the crowd, and Metal was destroyed.

Perro Aguayo Jr. was a replacement for LA Park (who was scheduled for the Santo/Demon GDL show which got canceled anyway.) AAA hyped it as a surprise; they ought to pay more attention to their boss’ twitter.

Different results in different recaps for the main event. AAA says Parka accidentally hit Cibernetico, leading to Zorro picking up the pin. Estrellas del Ring (which I can tell was actually there) says Halloween & Damian ran in, hit Mesias with a chair, and Zorro got the pin. Super Crazy, masked for no particular reason, ran in to attack the tecnicos after the match.

Next taping is next Tuesday in Cuautitlan. No matches announced yet.

Dorian tweeted Heroes Inmortales is October 1st.

Lineup via Dos de Tres.

On the poster, they bill the main event as revenge for Verano de Escandalo.

Guaranteed blood in the semimain.

I think the Air Force is getting on TV a lot because there needs to be someone for the Militia to (occasionally) beat. Your new IWRG Trios feud? (Probably not.)

Jennifer and Cinthia are listed as seconds to the title match. Order restored?

Minis! An easy match for them to cut.

Sell out. Maybe more than that.

understandable impluse/Black Terry Jr.

Opener was the only match with no storyline on this night, so it’s probably getting cut. Best match of the night, of course.

Konnan, walking around with a crutch now, opened the show proper with the Legion in the ring. He told the Maniacos to decide if they were with the Legion soon, and pointed out Perro Jr. beating Mesias at Verano de Escandalo. Parka & Roldan appeared to retort, but Konnan wasn’t done. He was still hurt from being put thru the table at Verano (an actual follow up to an injury angle!), so both Decnnis & Billy Boy would be taking his place. Not sure how Konnan has the power to do that at this point.

After Crazy Boy pinned El Brazo in the opener, Decnnis again offered El Brazo a spot in the Militia. Brazo again declined. This time, the Militia attacked him. Hilario freaked out, tried to make the save, and was knocked out. The tecnicos eventually returned to clear the rudos out.

Heavy Metal brought a guitar with him to ringside for his match. Bad move. Electroshock showed up, clonked Elegido with the guitar, and Chris splashed him for the pin. Electro destroyed Metal for good measure and then went screaming out into the night.

Tag title match end game started with Ultimo Gladiador trying a tope on Cien Caras Jr., only for Caras just to walk away and allow Gladiador to dive to his doom. (That is sort of how it all started.) The Militia – who were all over this show – attacked Cien Caras Jr. This allowed Hijo de Tirantes to be distracted, and Silver King piledrived Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. to set up the pin. After the match, Veneno (!) and an Oficial ran the rudos off.

Despite not being in the match, Konnan still got involved in the main event. To the surprise of few, Billy Boy took the pinfall in the main event, after a top rope splash from his old friend Mesias. The Militia wrestled in three matches on this show, took losses in two, and only one the other when Electroshock saved them. This is a group going places!

Next taping is 09/05 Pachuca. They’ve also announced 09/19 in Ecatpec, but there’s either another one in between or they’re taking a week off, because they won’t have enough to last that long.

Arena looked full. If they didn’t sell out, they came very close.

Pimpi pinned Yuriko in the opener.

Between the first match and the second match, Dorian and Roldan came to the ring to talk about the alliance between AAA & the Legion. I think they’ve done that for six tapings straight.

Dos de Tres & AAA’s own facebook were under the belief the second match had both the Reina de Reinas Title and the Mixed Tag Title on the line. When Mari pinned Sexi after a hurracanrana, they initially said both titles changed hands, then said only the Reina de Reinas title was on the line. I bet the original idea was the person who got pinned lost their title, not the whole team. Anyway, Mari pins Sexi, Mari’s the new Reina de Reinas champion, Sexi Star is posing sad messages on Twitter.

Heavy Metal bled in his match with Electroshock. In equally surprising news, Octagon’s mask was tied around the ropes. Metal  hit Electro with a guitar to win.

Jack pinned Nosawa with a 450 splash. Thanks for coming! The Militia and Konnan ran in after the match. The Milita was so effective, Jack and 187 ran them off and put Konnan thru a table. Konnan was strechered out. I can definitely see him missing this Thursday’s taping at IWRG.

Three way was first pin wins, as expected. Hernandez and Decnnis ran in, Decnnis taking the ref and Hernandez attacking Wagner while Silver King was already out. Vampiro was not happy with this and he and Hernandez brawled out of the ring. (That’ll be a match.) Silver King got Wagner with a Wagner Driver, Vampiro returned to attack Silver King, but Decnnis returned to lay out Vampiro with a chair. Wagner picked up the win. The Militia attacked Vampiro after the match, while Silver King played his recording of Dr. Wagner Senior saying Silver King was a better wrestler than Dr. Wagner Jr. and that’s why Junior got the name. No offense to a deceased man, but isn’t this a whole silly discussion when Dr. Wagner has the belt and Silver King does not? As Generico explained to Jack (and us), the guy who has the belt is the best guy. In AAA’s world, Dr. Wagner Jr. is very troubled by hearing Dr. Wagner Senior’s comments and this is setting up a singles match between them.

Main event was a lot of brawling, belts shots, and chair shots. Dorian got involved late. Cibernetico tried to chokeslam him, but Park hit Cibernetico with a chair. Joaquin hit Dorian instead. Park tried to hit Joaquin, but Mesias made the save. Perro hit Mesias and pinned him for the win. Perro called Mesias a dirty foreigner and talked about ruling wrestling. Mesias responded by challenged Perro to a singles match, but Perro said he wanted Joaquin’s hair.

Cibernetico said he was not happy with what AAA was doing, and unless they take urgent action, he’s going to do something himself – and then put on a Bizarros t-shirt before walking to the back. I saw this movie once, it wasn’t that good.

Next taping is Thursday in Arena Naucalpan. No date yet for the next major show, Heroes Inmortales, but they’ve already set up as much as this one: Silver/Wagner, Perro/Mesias. Maybe Vampiro vs the entire rest of the legion too.

First show after Verano de Escandalo, and no Wagner. Hmmm. No Perros either. It is a small building, maybe they didn’t want to pay for all those guys.

That main event does not look pretty. Jack is going to fly all over the place for Konnan’s punches.

Title match is from the angle back at TripleMania and run in IWRG ever since. It is one match where a million run-ins might work not because of the match quality but for the story.

Don’t like Heavy Metal’s chances of winning at Verano if he’s now found himself in the Stones/Elegido feud.

AAA’s been cutting out the first match listed of late, which would mean the Oficials/Air Force trios gets left off normally. Just doesn’t seem to make any sense to leave it off and air the segunda. That’d be Argenis’ first televised match since December, and I guess we’d find out if Brazo is meant to be in the Militia.

your Militia at work/Black Terry Jr.

Looked like a pretty full house.

Alex got away with a foul on Aerostar to retain the title.

Alan & Chris were Decnnis’ partners, Chris because he was with the Militia, Alan because he was trying to change his brothers’ mind. During the match, Alan got annoyed at Elegido and turned full rudo, joining the Milita himself. Alan being a rudo at Verano de Escandalo now make sense.

Cibernetico chokeslamed Black Abyss to get the win for his team. Judging from the photos, Black Abyss and Psicosis may have also joined the Militia. Every rudo is going to end up joining, it’s just a matter of getting on television to join. (Edit: Decnnis confirms these two are in to AAA’s website.)

Parka powerbobed Ultimo Gladiador to get the win. Vampiro ran in after the match, starting a three way brawl among the men in the title match.

Lider actually beat Halloween, so the Perros were turned back before Verano. Konnan led out the troops (including the Stones) to destroy 187, and Mesias and Cibernetico made the save to set up their team for Verano de Escandalo. Which is a week from today.
