Lockup, into the corner, Vito and Benoit switch places, and Benoit breaks it with an armdrag. Vito looking for a takedown by Benoit staying clear. Fans are into Burchill. Nunzio is upset about all this. Lockup, Nunzio with a waistlock, can't get anything, Burchill with a switch and waistlock takedown. Nunzio grabs the ropes. Nunzio shoves Burchill, Burchill shoves Nunzio down. Off the ropes, shoulderblock, one two no. Off the ropes, shoulderblock, one two no. Perhaps something else? Off the ropes, Nunzio drops down this time, so Burchill drops a knee to the back of the head. Mounted punches instead of a cover. Josh talks about "pirates and buccaneers" from England, citing Christopher Columbus (Italian, did it for Portugal), Erik the Red (Norwegian), Erik the Blue (slightly fictional) - this is all a plan to see if I'll point it out. An EVIL plan. Anyway, Nunzio's dropkicked Burchill off the apron in the meantime, and Burchill is slow up, holding his face. Nunzio waits till he's standing to come out after him and bring him back in. One two no. Josh knows Amerigo Vespucci is Italian! Nunzio working over Paul with kicks. Into a chinlock. Crowd rallied behind Burchill. Elbows, but Nunzio stops it with a forearm. They're not playing into the big size difference at all, which feels odd. Corner whip, reversed, Burchill charges into a knee. Sicilian Slice, but Burchill moves out of the way. Burchill charges Nunzio in the corner and lands a clothesline. Bad kicks in the corner - he's not getting his foot up far enough to make it look good. The stomping goes better. Hiptoss out of the corner. Weak clothesline. Double chop. Lots of yelling. Flapjack. One two no. Burchill insists it was three. Nunzio sneaks in an eye poke. Off the ropes, caught by Burchill, Walkin' the Plank. One two three. (4:41)
