the power is back

SmackDown Special main event highlights. They could've had the powerbomb end the match, they could've had the frog splash end the match,, they could've had Kane end the match, and in the end, they - uh, forget about the match. Kane's disappointment about fighting Undertaker was pretty good and pretty accurate - he didn't care about SmackDown! vs RAW the last month, why does he suddenly care about it now? Because it's convenient. This SUCKED. (2:30)

from the studios (oh no), it's Romero and Josh. Did Josh change his hair color again? Such a tiny screen makes it tough to tell. Segue from the clips, to Orton vs Matt.

Matt does a moonsault he never does, and Orton just does his finish. K whatever. Good to see Bob's gotten pass Randy pushing him away on the special. Matt must've dedicated this match to Eddie also, judging from the way he vanishes post match. For those live in the arena, Undertaker's death last about twenty minutes, right? This is an especially lame Undertaker speech, and it's not helped by having to draw on Orton's acting ability. Yes, dude, the best move is to go walking into a mob of people, where Undertaker can jump out at you at any time. This is so hokey. Why does Undertaker even need the match? He's reduced Orton to tears by just talking to him.  (8:13)

Armageddon: Undertaker vs Randy Orton in a HitC match.

Match #2 highlights. I don't know nothing, but I gotta believe Orton didn't mean to throw himself to the floor twice in one match. The missed tope maybe, but falling hard on the German Suplex attempt took something out of him. (6:17)

Benoit and Booker brawl after Benoit's match on SmackDown. (:34)
SmackDown: Chris Benoit vs Booker T, match 3 in the Best of 7 (2-0, Booker)

Romero: "dot COM is an unbelievable tool." No, that's you. Josh hints at something he has coming for the website, and then addresses Romero: "My friend, you are an unbelievable tool as well." It scares me when Josh does that.

Orlando Jordan (Miami, FL, 227 pounds) vs TJ Dalton (Cincinnati, OH, 210 pounds, already in the ring) - OJ, meet TJ. Fans buy the hometown to an absurd degree. Your ref is Chris. OJ is telling people he's all business now. As long as he changes the type of business, that's fine. OJ starts the match by punching TJ in the face. Left (Romero: "right"), big right (maybe that's the one he was calling.) Stomps to the head. Turnbuckle smash. Pulling him out and throwing him by the hair. Swinging neckbreaker looks odd, but good enough. They imply OJ and JBL have parted ways. DDT. Off the ropes, elbow drop. Elbow drop. Rule of Thumb: "If someone's the Best Pure Athlete on the roster, that means you suck." Hard corner whip. Right. Right. Ignoring warnings about closed fists. Hard corner whip. Suplex. Stomps. The new OJ doesn't smile. Shots to the chest. TJ shoved down. Kick. Kick. Corner whip, OJ charges in with a clothesline. "YOU TAPPED OUT! YOU TAPPED OUT!" Fans fail to understand that this is the new great serious Orlando Jordan who has yet to tap out, I guess. More punches. More kicks. Boot choke. Josh and Romero won't shut up about the greatness of WWE.com. TJ rallying back with punches, whip, reversed, short arm clothesline. Carlito's double knee pulling backbreaker, one two three. (3:23) Yes, OJ really needed another finisher. Why is that move so popular suddenly? New And Improved Orlando Jordan throws TJ out of the ring.

SD: Kane/Big Show vs Rey/JBL. (5:56)

Josh: "Top to bottom, awesome week for SmackDown!" Romero promises another match of the Best of 7 next week. That's it.
