London/Kidman storyline recap: the video they had used to set up the PPV match, and then the match from No Mercy. Crowd noise is taken out of this. Josh: "Paul London gets his change for revenge after being out eight weeks at the hands of Billy Kidman - tonight on Velocity!" (2:48)
open - if someone pointed out Kevin Nash and Scott Hall are (barely) visible in the collision video, would that get it out finally?

thug life Billy Kidman (Allentown, PA, 215 pounds, red vest) vs Paul London (200 pounds, Austin, TX) - the opener? Okay. Kidman tells the ringside people NOT to drop his jacket, ha. London is running to the ring! But it's not part of his entrance this time! Kidman pounds London as he slides in, and we're off. Kidman seems to get the better of the hockey fight exchange, but London ends up nailing him with forearms. Whip, back elbow. Running forearm! running forearm! Whip, reversed, London slides out under, inverted atomic drop, Kidman clotheslined out of the ring! London's going nuts. Stomping the mat with both feet as Kidman gets up on the floor. Off the ropes - slingshot tope con giro! Bill: "Revenge for what - for Billy Kidman stepping up his game and becoming a main eventer?" "What the hell are you talking about?" Works on multiple levels. London throws Kidman back in, and goes to the apron. Slingshot clothesline! London yells at Kidman, corner whip, reversed, Kidman charges into a back elbow, then Kidman charges into the Mushroom Stomp! Powered up leg lariat! Kidman out to the floor again, and London is blocked from getting out. So, instead, he'll go up! Jimmy Korderas warns him, but London isn't listening - top rope plancha gets waved by into the barricade by Kidman! There's your weekly suicide attempt by Paul London. Kidman throws him back in, stomp, stomp, stomp, stomp, pause to grab face. The leg lariat got him good. London trying to punch his way up, but Kidman stops him with a knee to the head. Whip, big flapjack. Choke on the mat, one two three and he lets go. Cover one two no. Choke on the middle rope. Bill: "And maybe if they didn't invent cream cheese, we wouldn't have the bagel." Don't attempt to make sense of it. Kidman stomps the crowd while the crowd tells Kidman what they think of him. Abdominal stretch.  Kidman set this up the wrong way to get to the ropes, but he's breaking London pretty good anyway. London fighting, drawing from the crowd, and getting free for a hiptoss. London recovers on the ropes while Kidman picks himself up. Kidman walks into a kick. Back elbow. London with a forearm to keep Kidman away. Kidman charges, London ducks, and takes him over with a 'rana. Wheel kick connects, whip, backdrop. London waits for Kidman to get up, Dropsault one two NO. Bill and Josh (mostly Bill) argues who should be more mad at Kidman: London or Chavo. London with a whip, reversed into a fireman's carry, dropped into the big gutbuster one two no. Kidman punches London down. Corner whip, reversed, Kidman goes in chest first and rebounds out, London off the ropes, and runs right into the BK Bomb. (Called!) Oh no, he's gonna do it again. London in position, Kidman in position, Shooting Star Press but London moves out of the way! Kidman would've killed him with his knees - instead, it's Kidman's knees that are dead. London pulling himself together and pulling himself up to the top rope. Too slow, and Kidman stops him with punches. Kidman joins him on the ropes, but London fights back as Kidman tries a superplex. Suplex is blocked one twice, Kidman shoves him off and drops him with a face first suplex. FOUR FIFTY SPLASH one two THREE. (6:19) Turning point - Kidman misses the SSP. "[London] has been hit with enough times to know to get the hell out of the way."

WWE Bodyslam of the week, presented by BOD Man Fragrance Sprays: Funaki wins the #1 Contender Cruiserweight Battle Royal

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Spike Dudley (150 pounds) vs C.W. Anderson (Gaffney, SC, 230 pounds, already in the ring) in a non-title match - ECW. Or not. Bill blames Josh for starting the trend of announcers heading into the ring - a trend of which Bill will not be partaking, "because I'm not a cruiserweight." Circle. Lockup, Spike with a headlock, shot off, shoulderblock but down goes Spike. Bill says he and C.W. go back a long way, and makes the obligatory ECW mention. Josh makes the non-obligatory "ZERO ONE" mention. Lockup, C.W. with a waistlock takedown. Spike frees himself, and gets to the ropes. Your ref is Nick Patrick, by the way. Circle. Lockup, no, Spike with a kick. Armbar. Hammerlock. C.W. looking for a way out, rolling to the mat and sending Spike out of the ring. Josh all but guarantees JBL will lose on Sunday, which means I made one wrong pick. Spike back in - punch blocked, C.W. punches him out. Corner punches, one two three, Spike slips out for a forearm, then slips in for a powerbomb. Bill suggests JBL might have a new cabinet member. Top rope stomp! Spike poses. As he should. Kick to the ribs. Boot choke. Bottom rope knee drop. Snap mare, chinlock. C.W. fights out of the hold, but gets topped by a knee and kick to the midsection. One two NO. Reverse chinlock? Something which does not look like it hurts at all? Whatever. Kick to the back of the head, chinlock. Elbow to the head by Spike to keep C.W. down, but he's going to rally up anyway. Can C.W. just do the spinebuster and go to the end game? Elbow out of the chinlock. Chop. Open hand slap. Whip, clothesline - no, Spike gets in the Battering Ram. Dudley Dog - no, C.W. reverses into the spinebuster! Josh: "An Anderson spinebuster by C.W. Anderson!" Bill says C.W. won't answer questions about if he's really related to Ole or Arn. Right. Chop, whip, back elbow, clothesline. Bill brings up Cena in the nightclub, and Josh shifts away from the unresolved and apparently never to be resolved nightclub bit at breakneck speed, even admitting we will never know who stabbed John Cena. Whip, head down too soon, Spike kicks him, but his clothesline is ducked into a reverse half nelson suplex, kinda neat. C.W. tries to pull Spike into the middle of the ring, but Spike holds onto the ropes tight. C.W. has to let go for a rope break and spike manages to get an eye rake. Running forearm knocks C.W. down, and Spike gives him the running stomps. Spike walks away and poses, and turns right into a killer C.W. superkick! One two NO. Whip, Spike gets the ropes, C.W. charges with a big boot, Spike moves, C.W. crotches himself, Spike uses the middle of the ropes for the Dudley Dog, one two three. (5:51) Will he retain on Sunday?

Blade 3 (1:21)

WWE Rewind, presented by SmackDown! vs RAW for PS2 - Rey and RVD cheat to win the WWE Tag Team Championship

Luther Reigns (Phoenix, AZ, 295 pounds) vs Hardcore Holly (Mobile, AL, 234 pounds) - Your unacknowledged ring announcer tonight was Justin Roberts. Josh's rehearsed line of the week: "Everyone was on their feet - I guess that's why they call them the 'stands'." Your ref is Brian Hebner. Circle. Lockup, Luther slowly winning, but Hardcore turning it around at the last second. Break. Standoff. Hardcore gets the crowd to cheer for him. Lockup, Luther backs Hardcore up into the corner, break with shove. Hardcore shoves back. Bill: "Women do not belong in Sports Entertainment!" Must've hated RAW. Trash talking both ways. Lockup, Luther with a headlock. Shot off, over, Hardcore shoulderblock, both guys knocked back but neither goes down. Luther gets in a forearm first, though. Kick, backhand. Corner whip, Luther charges into the corner, Holly moves and cradles him, one two NO. Hardcore chop. Chop. Chop. One more? Chop. Corner whip, charge in, into Luther's back elbow. Kick by Luther. Whip, head down too soon, and Holly kicks it. More punches. Alabama Crunch. Bill demands to know which people Josh is talking about when he says "Luther's legs are the size of some people!" Josh has no easy answers. Luther manages to get the next kick in anyway, and throws Hardcore into the post. Break. (3:08

Luther covers, one two no. We see a replay of Holly's left shoulder going into the post right before the break, and his left shoulder going into the stairs during the break. Luther working a wristlock. Holly battling up, as Bill bemoans Luther's lax submission holds. Luther stops Hardcore with a kick, and takes him down with a short clothesline. Back to the wristlock, and Bill rips Luther for using the wrong hold. He's putting the pressure on the wrist and the elbow, and not the shoulder, I believe. Out into a normal armbar, but it doesn't seem very effective. Luther stomping. Elbow drop. "No way can JBL survive." Back to the wristlock. We didn't really need this three times. Hardcore battling up with punches again, stopped with a kick again. Short clothesline is reversed into a back suplex this time. Both guys down and slow up. One two three four five six - Luther up, missing a boot, Hardcore landing a clothesline. Clothesline. Whip, dropkick. One two NO. Right here is when this match surpassed Kidman/London in length. Hardcore going up top, waiting, top rope clothesline. One two NO. Luther uses a kick to the gut the take control for the millionth time. Whip, head down too soon, and Hardcore rolls him up in a small package, one two no. Luther sneaks in a - well, magically trip to cause Hardcore to fall into the second rope. We're calling it the reverse spinning neckbreaker this week. (4:06, 7:14 total) Not so good. Luther celebrates, leaves the ring and looks back in the ring as we go out, but that's all we see of it.

That's it.
