Lockup, Danny with a headlock, into a hammerlock, shove in the back. Johnny doesn't take that well, turning and ramming Danny into the corner. Break, with Danny shoving and Johnny slapping back. Danny out to talk this over with Doug. Doug and Danny huddle - and Doug comes in. Shockingly, everyone catches it - Johnny, Josh, and most of all, referee Jimmy Korderas. Danny rushes into an eye poke. Right. Danny's right isn't close. Johnny jab, jab, loading up, and a big right cross. Josh: "Johnny looking like Roy Jones-" "Who's Roy Jones?" "He's a boxer." "Rocky Balboa's a boxer." Danny manages to use the tights to trip Johnny out, but  he's prevented from coming out and Nunzio stops Doug - actually, no, h ends up backing off and Johnny gets posted. Lot of help Nunzio is. Johnny slowly pulls himself in, and Danny stomps. Turnbuckle smash, Danny kick, kick, kick, boot choke. Bill wants to get over his idea how Kurt Angle planned this all to get a match with Eddie at SummerSlam, and Josh just ignores him. Danny snap mare, elbow drop one two no. Boot choke. Slingshot into the middle rope. Neck vice. Johnny battling up, but Danny stops him with a knee. Suplex, no Johnny Small package one two NO. Danny right hand blocked, into a Johnny backslide one two no. Johnny knows pinning combinations? It's been a while since he's had a chance to use them, I guess. Danny with a kick, corner whip, Johnny goes in chest first and rebounds out into a reverse DDT one two Johnny's got his feet on the ropes. Danny removes it and covers again, one two NO. Danny with a kneeling chinlock. Johnny battling up, elbow, elbow, Danny throws him down by the head. Bill: "I've told Alice [his mom] time after time, 'no thanks, I can do it on my own', but she still helps me." Danny to the middle rope, pump splash meets knees. Johnny pulls himself up in the corner, and Danny runs into a boot. Danny with a right hand, Johnny with a right, Danny with a right, Johnny with a right, right, right, corner whip, reversed, Johnny rebounds out with a clothesline. Bill: "Are you asking my personal opinion or my professional opinion?" "I don't want either one!" Backdrop. Press, but Danny slips behind and forearms him in the back. Danny off the ropes into a big spinebuster. No cover - Boston crab? Face Johnny is going to take some time getting used to. Johnny makes the mistake of letting go to go after Doug, and turns into a Danny clothesline. The clothesline takes Johnny out, but Doug's run off from interfering by Nunzio. Danny slides out, Doug distracts the ref, and Danny posts Nunzio. Johnny thrown in, but He punches Danny as he approaches. Inverted atomic drop, off the ropes, but into a kick from Doug. Johnny stumbles forward, Danny sets him up for a powerbomb, but Johnny backdrops. Danny holds on for a sunset flip, Johnny blocks, sits down, one two three! (6:11) Danny can't believe he lost like that - it seemed like barely three and they make the case that it was only two.

René and RVD have a discussion about who's fault his is that they're on Velocity. Lockup. René backs RVD into the corner. René feigns a punch, RVD flinches, René finds that hilarious. RVD clotheslines him. He wants more but Brian Hebner is in his way and Duprée is hiding in the corner. Duprée charges out into a drop toe hold. Armdrag. Spin kick scares Duprée away. He's going to go take a walk. And now he's going to leave! René stops in the entranceway to yell at some fans, and RVD is out after him. Punch, punch, ring post. RVD breaks the count. Kick. RVD cleans some room on the barricade and suplexes Duprée. "Duprée looks a little discombobulated. Let's see someone take that word! Discombobulated!" RVD to the apron, breaks the count, point, spinning legdrop apron dive. RVD gets up, high fives some fans, and throws Duprée in. Slingshot legdrop in, one two NO. René stops RVD from picking him up with an eye rake, but Rob knocks him back down with a standing spin kick. Rob leaps to the top rope, but René pushes him off and into the barricade! Both guys down, one outside, so time for a break. (2:55)

René's in control, working over RVD back in the ring as we return. Replay of RVD flying far far away into the barricade. René with a corner whip, stumbling out into a Duprée dropkick one two no. Rob throws RVD out so he can strut. Now out, so he can smash RVD into the announce desk and mess up Bill. He can't talk while he's on camera (because his lips are obviously not moving while on camera), so he's got to suddenly stop speaking everytime we can see him. Odd. RVD thrown back in, René covers one two no. Slam. Is it time? Yep, the French Tickler. Off the ropes, into a RVD wheel kick. René's bleeding from the mouth. Josh: "Duprée's been busted open by RVD. He's not the first and he won't be the last." René up first and trying to turnbuckle smash RVD, but RVD blocks it with a boot and kicks René away. Split legged moonsault one two NO. RVD with a whip, reversed, Duprée puts his head down, RVD flip rolls over it, right, right, right, spinning kick is ducked, René with a gut punch, setting up pose, RVD backdrops out of it, René holds on for a sunset flip, RVD rolls through for the dropkick. RVD realizes he's in position, off the ropes, rolling thunder one two NO. RVD with a right hand, corner whip, RVD charges into a boot. René to the second rope, top rope dive is rolled under, RVD using his momentum to jump to the middle rope, springboard kick. RVD going all the way up. Five Star Frog Splash.
