Chavo Guerrero (El Paso, TX, 213 pounds, 9) vs Shannon Moore (Raleigh, NC, 195 pounds, w/book, 10) - your announcers are Cat, Josh, and Cat's Saturday Night Fever outfit. Shannon's doing his impression of Chris Nowinski with "Exist to Inspire." This just in: Matt Hardy is off the banana juice and on a strict diet of yams and lobster sauce. Josh reminds us that the Shannon Moore fans are nicknamed "the Morons" - he later explains that Cat is a Moron, but we knew that. Okay, we ready? Good - lockup, Chavo with a waistlock, Shannon with a waistlock, Chavo with an armdrag into an armbar. Cat is convinced that Matt is not under the limit. Chavo with a hammerlock, Chavo with a headlock, Shannon reverses, Chavo shot in  to the ropes and back with a shoulderblock. Cat: "I'm not a moron because I'm not a fan of yours!" Shannon with a kick, caught and there's the dragon screw leg whip into a toe hold - Shannon grabs a hold of the ropes, but gets stomped. European Uppercut. Turnbuckle smash, punches in the corner and another big European Uppercut. Chavo poses. Choke. Chavo pulled away, and Shannon trips him up into the corner as he returns. Back suplex one two NO. Whip, back elbow one two no. One two NO. Matt Hardy later! Chavo with right hands to the face, stopping to do double VERSION ONE. Slam. CHINlock. Chavo looking for a way out  but still down. Yelling a bit. That seems awful close to a choke. Josh talks about payback (re: Vince/Hogan) and Cat starts talking about James Brown. Chavo back elbowing out, but gets a knee lift. Shannon off the ropes, running knee knocks Chavo all the way to the outside. Chavo out after him - run back first into the apron. Shannon throws Chavo back in, one two NO. Shannon is sure that should be three. Chavo fighting back with rights, Shannon with forearms beating him down. re: Cena's unaccepted challenge, Cat and Josh are having a debate about the biggest rappers they've ever seen. Josh thinks 50 Cent is bigger than Cena. I'll go with Fat Joe. Meanwhile, Shannon puts Chavo on the top rope and signals, uh oh, he took too long and got punched down. Top rope ax-handle (maybe?) gets a boot. Standing wheel kick one two NO! "I think Shannon Moore's been watching my Karate tapes!" Shannon throwing his mini-tantrum. Shannon with a snap mare, now taking time to signal to the crowd, off the ropes but Chavo is up and dropkicking him. Josh: "Cat's pretty talkative tonight - I don't know who put a nickel in him but it's great!" Chavo with a kick, and another couple European uppercuts. Whip, there's the back drop. Kick, forearm, whip, reversed, Chavo's clothesline misses, Shannon of the ropes and Chavo hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker one two no. Cat says Shannon's only been wrestling for five years and Josh is uncertain - that's a switch. Chavo goes for the brainbuster (I think) nut Shannon slips free, kick Twist Of Pushed Off, Chavo tries a rebound clothesline but it misses, Shannon hits the second rope leg lariat one two NO. Shannon yelling about the count again. Shannon setting up for a sitting Tornado DDT -  no Chavo counters (or just don't go down for the DDT, eh) Chavo with a corner whip, charge into a boot. Shannon going for it - no one's there for the Mooregasm! That'd be one of those self Mooregasms, ew.  Chavo with a kick, crucifix lift and there's the Gory Bomb, right into the (now) Guerrero Low Rider (STF). That'll do it. (6:04) That was fun.

Still to come - who will face Brock?

Still to come - Hogan and Vince

And then, Torrie and Sable and Fast Forward. (1:26)

Tajiri (Japan, 206 pounds) vs Buddy Wayne (210 pounds, already in the ring) - Cat points out that Buddy Wayne is ugly. Lockup, Wayne with an armbar, Tajiri rolls through and trips up Wayne, zero cover. Yelping kneedrop to the face. Tajiri claps. Lockup - no, Wayne with a kick. Side headlock. Holding it for a while. Shot into the ropes, back with a shoulderblock. Off the ropes, over, Tajiri leapfrog but Wayne slaps him. Face yank on the ropes. Right. Snap mare. Neck vice. Wow, this a whole lot of nothing so far. Tajiri standing up and and back elbowing out, but he gets thrown down by his hair. Boot choke. Whip, reversed, Wayne slide under, Tajiri turns and Wayne spinebusters him one two no. Tajiri is holding his back while Wayne suplexes him. Wayne going up? This does not appear to be smart- top rope moonsault (with a little bit of a twist) misses. Tajiri ducks the clothesline and his kicks are on. Whip, reversed, Wayne misses the clothesline and Tajiri hits the back thrust kick. Calling for it? Buzzsaw kick one two three. (3:12) I guess that's what we get when you have two matches in the same taping.

WrestleMania XIX - Angle/Brock stills. (:51)

After the match, Brock has a concussion. Let's take you back and show you how it happened - ewwww. (:50)

Stephanie explains the Tournament, and we see the first round highlights. (3:33)

Undertaker and Nathan Jones have issues with the FBI. I wonder if TOMMY was in on it. I guess I'm not supposed to think that. So can Cena beat Undertaker with the possible help of FIVE guys? I guess we find out next week. (1:52)

the FBI (Johnny/Chuck, 530 pounds, w/Nunzio) vs Tony Gordina and Jay Holenback (422 pounds, already in the ring) - no graphic, so I'm guessing on names here. Cat notes that these jobbers are ugly too. Johnny and TBA to start. Lockup, and Johnny pushed him down. I think this is Jay. I have no reason to think this but this one seems less like he has a vowel at the end of his name. Lockup, Johnny pushed Jay in the corner, open hand slap, kick to the midsection. Right no Jay ducks, Jay would like to do a headlock but Johnny's not thinking that at all and they kinda lockup with Jay being shoved into the ropes and coming back with a dropkick to the knee. They glance at each other to hopefully get on the same page as they get up - whip, reversed, tilt-a-whirl reversed into a spinning headscissors, nice. Johnny stops him quick with a knee. Press - no, Jay slips behind, pushed Johnny into his own corner, Johnny and Chuck figure they might as well tag, but Jay tries to hit Johnny with a dropkick. I don't know if Johnny was ready for that one - the camera angle hid if it hit or not, but Johnny's not selling it so I guess not. Johnny kills Jay with a clothesline as Josh says the dropkick "had no effect". Now Johnny tags in Chuck (for real, I guess) - press slam, throwing him hard into the corner buckle! Chuck with a huge big boot to the face. Chuck with a scoop, lift into a fireman's carry and Samoan Drop! Punch to Tony to the apron. Dragging Jay back into the FBI corner and tagging in Johnny - they make a wish. Johnny stomping Jay down and Jay trying to get to safety of the apron. Johnny pulls Jay up, Johnny coming back with forearms, whip, quick reverse to an overhead belly to belly suplex. Tag to Chuck. Chuck picks up Jay, grabs one of his legs, and clothesline him down. Stomp as Jay gets up. Again. Pulling him back to the FBI corner. Tag to Johnny, elbow drop elbow drop elbow drop by Johnny. Knee choke. Hey, it really is Jay! Thanks for telling me Josh. Tag to Chuck - discus punch! While the FBI and Jimmy Korderas are having a discussion about the legality of the closed fist, Jay recovers enough to finally make that tag - Tony is in. Clothesline is ducked, forearm, forearm, forearm, pushed into the ropes, dropkick to the knee on Chuck. Forearm, Off the ropes, dropkick to  Chuck's knee. Forearm again, forearm to Johnny, Chuck's clothesline knocks the heck out of Tony! Tag to Johnny. Double whip, Chuck catches him on his shoulder - shoulder backbreaker, holding him for a Stamboli second rope legdrop to complete the Vegamatic - oh, Kiss of Death. Johnny covers, one two three. (4:33) Chuck is bleeding around the eye - apparently one of those forearms from Tony caught him too good, and busted him open. That explains the stiff clothesline for Tony. Nunzio tells him not take that from them - Jungle Kick kills Jay. They're not done with him - Tony is out, but Jay is held for the Kiss and the punch from Nunzio. They bring him up again - double side backbreaker by Johnny and Chuck, and Nunzio hits a second rope sit (or maybe it was a legdrop) - Josh says that's the Triple Kiss of Death. Jay ain't moving, but neither is Tony.

SmackDown Version One Challenge of Last Thursday

WWE Crusierweight Champion Matt Hardy (Version One, Cameron, NC, 220 pounds, 1) vs SmackDown #1 Announcer Funaki (Japan, 208 pounds, 7) in a non-title match - Matt thinks his match at WrestleMania was the best. Matt sleeps in the nude, TOO MUCH INFORMATION. Josh and Cat go with the viewpoint that Matt may not be crazy for calling out Brock (for the 3rd - 4th? time), as while Brock might be willing to wrestle next week, it's unlikely he'd be doing so at 100%, so there may not be a better time to go after him. Lockup to start, Matt powering Funaki in the corner after a couple spins. Matt breaks with a double chop to the midsection. "I'M V1!" Funaki shoves him back and says HE's #1 (announcer on SmackDown!) Matt charges in disgust, Funaki waves him by and pushed him in the corner. Armdrag, dropkick one kickout. Headlock by Funaki, Matt tries to power out but Funaki won't let go. Matt elbowing, shot Funaki off into the ropes, hiptoss is blocked and Funaki clothesline him down! Right hands to the face! Kick to the midsection, whip, quick reverse - Side Effect! One two NO. Matt with right hands. Waiting for Funaki to get up - kick to the ribs. And another. Choke around the top rope. Choke on the middle rope. It sounds like Cat's a big fan of certain websites that allow you watch people at home. Running sit on Funaki. Matt with the Ricochet one two NO. Whip, Matt goes low, Funaki goes high with a sunset flip one two no. Funaki with right hands, whip, reverses, back elbow followed by a leg drop one two NO. Surfboard, foot in the back. Cat makes Roy Jones vs Heavyweight comparisons for Matt's chances against Brock, that's actually a good point. Funaki getting up and turning it - pushing Matt into the ropes, kick catch enziguri. Both men are down. Matt up first - but Funaki coming back with right chop right chop right chop corner whip, rebound bulldog! One two NO! Corner whip, Funaki charges into a boot. Matt out - slam. Ah, going up - Downfall Raindrop connects! one two NO! Josh called the name! Slam again - no Funaki slides free - slop drop! Did Josh say "my home town, Chicago, IL"? You're from northern INDIANA. You have to say GARY. That's CHEATING. I do the same thing on occasion but I'm at least in the right state. Actually, he may be physically closer but it's funny. Turnbuckle smash - Funaki going for the Rising Sun (or an inverted version of it), but Matt turns around - big Northern Lights throw. Waiting for Funaki to get up - kick wham Twist Of Fate One two three (4:44)

SmackDown! - semifinals of the tournament. Confidential is now.

Hey no DeMott this week! Props to the cook.
