TV 14 DLV entertainment Controversy (1:03) open - they'll never take Benoit out of it. Fireworks too. Different display, as if I are.

Kidman vs Chavo Guerrero - your announcers are Cole and Al, who want to talk about the return of the Rock. Cole wastes no time in mentioning that Kidman pinned Noble on Smackdown, which would seem to make him the #1 contender. Cole makes the "former trainer of Tough Enough 2" mention before the match even starts - how's he going to get through the next 4-6 minutes? Lockup, armdrag by Kidman. Chavo backs off in the corner. Circle, lockup, Chavo with a waistlock, Kidman goes behind and then into a headlock, Chavo pushes him off and Kidman comes back with the shoulderblock. Circle. Lockup, no Chavo with a kick, right, right, European Uppercut. Whip, no armbar instead, hammerlock, Kidman with the jumping snap mare escape. Kidman ducks under a clothesline, off the ropes, elevated dropkick. Kick, right, right, corner whip, Kidman charges in, he's flipped in the air and lads on the second rope, headscissors works and takes Chavo out. Off the ropes, baseball slide but no one's home - Chavo gets in a kick, Gory Special then dropping Kidman back first on the barricade. Throwing him back first into the barricade. Coles notes the body part picking as a Chavo Trademark. Back in. Kick to the back. Turnbuckle smash, setting him facing away from the ring, shoulder to the back, shoulder to the back, shoulder to the back. Now pulling him over - side back breaker. One two no. Surfboard with chinlock. Now going with just the surfboard for a bit. Kidman trying to get the crowd to get behind him, and they actually do - getting up, but kneed in the back. Chavo with a headlock, Kidman elbows out, right is ducked and Chavo gets an abdominal stretch. Kidman quickly with back elbows, hiptoss is blocked, Chavo goes for the hiptoss but Kidman blocks, knee to the midsection, and goes for the flip escape (because this a cruiserweight match - and we're trying to build him up as our new #1 contender), but Chavo grabs the leg to block it (because we like to keep everyone kinda even), so Kidman goes for an enziguri (because it's about time for Kidman to bust some new moves out.), but Chavo ducks it and hits a slingshot into the ropes, causing Kidman to fall backwards into his knees (because it looks cool), cover for one two no. Stomp. Slam. Grapevining the legs, pulling the hair, is Chavo gonna turn him? No, he's just gonna sit there with the knee in the back. Works for me. Cole tells us that Chavo actually has other family members who are involved in wrestling. Stomp. Stomp. Kidman with rights, but gets thrown in the corner (back first.) Al actually does say something cool - Chavo and the other kids used to just go out to the ring and put on little matches during the intermission of their father's shows. Kick. Pick up, Kidman with rights fighting back, but Chavo gets in a knee. Whip, Kidman slides under, ducks a clothesline, off the ropes, jumping back elbow. Kidman is from Florida (I guess by way of Pennsylvania) and enjoys jet skiing and rap music, if you were wondering like Cole apparently was. Al thinks like me (scary) and gives credit to Cole for putting out the personal ad for Kidman. Chavo charges out of the corner, backdropped by Kidman. Kidman yells. Corner whip, Chavo kips up, Kidman catches him over the shoulder, layout slam with Chavo's head hitting Kidman's knee on the way down. That looked brutal - one two not brutal enough. Kidman goes for the Dudley Dog, but Chavo remembers he can't really do that any more and pushes him off, then loads him up on the top rope. Chavo tries something, but Kidman fights out of it, so Chavo forearms him in the back a few more times to quiet him, then goes back to the mat and scoops Kidman on his shoulder, facing up - there's the sitting shoulder backbreaker! One two no. It's times like this where Chavo probably wish he had a backbreaker related finisher. Slam, no, Kidman with a shot to the midsection, DDT, no Chavo escapes, Kidman tries a clothesline, Chavo ducks, DDT of his own! One two no. Stomp. Chavo takes off an elbow pad that was bugging him (I think that's what it was), then sets up for the tornado DDT, but Kidman is back with punches. Kidman goes up with him - top rope 'rana one two three! (5:52) Announcers put it over as a desperation move that was just enough. Anyway, pencil in Noble vs Kidman for Vengeance.

Later, Test vs Val, and still to come, the Rock Returns.

The nWo wants YOU - if you're Triple H. (:50)

Tajiri (w/ads) vs Shannon Moore (generic music, no video) - Cole mentions Nash's injury - six months at least. Al says "clique" and bad mouths them. I bet Moore wishes he was the one hanging out with Nidia. He's got white and red long tights. First mention of Ruthless Aggression tonight and the last time I'll mention it. Circle. Lockup, waistlock by Tajiri, waistlock by Shannon more, Tajiri with a hammerlock, Shannon with elbows to escape, off the ropes, lifted for slam, goes behind, Tajiri turns in an armdrag, an armdrag, a jumping side kick, one two no. Whip, reversed, armdrag try by Tajiri, but Shannon Moore with the bodyscissors armdrag - I think I know what he's been watching. Charge - into a thrust kick. "Welcome to the big leagues, kid." Stomp. Chop. Right. Corner whip, Tajiri charges in, Shannon kips up, then pulls out a victory roll one two no. Cole wants to know what's up with Tajiri, Noble and Nidia - I'm more interested in hearing Shannon's thoughts on that big hair/mask vs hair/mask match. Shannon misses a clothesline, gets a drop to hold, Tajiri quickly with the Indian Deathlock, then bending back for the upside STF. Shannon does battle and get to the ropes. Stomp. Slam. Yelling knee drop. One two no. Chop. Chop. Shannon turns it around. Chop. Chop. Corner whip, Shannon with a clothesline. Corner whip, charge in, Tajiri jumps up and there's the Tarantula. He lets go. Standing on the apron, he trips up Shannon, then makes another dolphin like yell - quebrada but Shannon rolled out of the way! Cole brings up the Lima poll again. Shannon with forearms, ducks a clothesline, dropkick knocks down Tajiri. Clothesline. Clothesline. "Get up Tajiri!" Kick, off the ropes, swinging neckbreaker. One two no. Corner whip, reversed, Tajiri charges into a double boot. Moore going up, all the way up, um, we'll call that a twisting body block and assume that's what he meant to do - one two no. Al, in the midst of talking about the Anti-Americans (that seems to be the official name - fun gimmick to have in a couple months), suggests that this might allow Christian to "truly be on his own." Hey, that's the Michinoku Driver! One two no. You're not TAKA! Tajiri's on the ropes, and Shannon forearms, forearms, all the way back off the other ropes, and Tajiri has plenty of time to recover, and throw Shannon over the top as he comes back. Tajiri slides out, Shannon slides in, Tajiri starts to go in but Shannon slides out into him. Yell - is he gonna dive? NO HANDS SOMERSAULT PLANCHA! "Hands free hilo dive." Okay that too. Cole is comparing Shannon to Jeff Hardy, even bringing up his training with those Hardyz. Shannon throws Tajiri in, then goes up, top rope whatever gets him kicked in the midsection, and here's the KO Kick. One two three. (4:55) But does he like jet skiing?

Still to come, the Rock returns.

Hey look, the Rock returned. (6:29) So like, match Thursday. You think Undertaker just might make a mess of it? Nah.

Eight Legged Freak Tag Team Titles Retained of Thursday

Randy Orton vs Albert - I keep calling him Robby. I don't know why. I should get it checked out. Cole mentions his loses to D-Von and Batista. Albert makes an X-sign because he misses X-Factor. Cole gets whining all of the sudden - it's almost like Tazz is here. Lockup, Albert pushes him down. Lockup, Randy ducks under, right, right, right, Albert with a knee. Pick up over the shoulder, going for Snake Eyes but Conway ducks under, Randy with a kick to the leg, kick to the leg, kick to the leg, off the ropes, clothesline, no-sell. Off the ropes, press and dropping him, but Orton lands on his feet and dropkicks Albert in the knee. Calling Albert up - dropkick to the head, one two no. Right. Right. Right. Albert with a big right, ducked, big left is not ducked. Albert limping around. Turnbuckle smash. Kick, kick, kick, kick, right, chasing the referee for yelling about getting him out of the corner. Randy with rights to fight out, knee, forearm, forearm, off the ropes, cross body is caught, there's the run into the corner back first, and the other corner, and the powerslam to finish it off. It's a Double Oklahoma Stampede I guess. Tazz with a kick the the ribs, slingshot into the middle rope, one two no. Albert going to the second rope, Vader bomb catches knees. Randy up - right right, Albert misses a clothesline, right right, corner whip, reverses, Albert charges into a knee. Albert charges into a double boot. Randy to the second rope, bulldog one two no big kickout but Randy land on his feet. Right - no Albert with a knee. Whip, Orton with a flying forearm one two no. Forearm. Corner whip, reversed, Randy kips up and escaped, but Albert turns and catches him with the double choke - Randy jumps and dropkicks his way out, knocking Albert into the corner. Kick, right, whip, reversed, Albert charges in with Albert Smash. Cover one two foot on the ropes. Albert didn't see it and thought he won - he's not too pleased when he's told otherwise. Push for the ref, then a corner charge, but no one's home - inside cradle one two three! (4:33) Well, Albert hasn't been doing well on this show. Scissors kick for revenge (we don't see it all that well), the ref slides out wisely. Torture Rack into a neckbreaker just to send a message. Replay. Ah, we didn't see it so well because it was a lot less impressive than usual - very low. Now Albert's coming back in 0 he forget to do the Baldo Bomb - folds him up in half. X again. Hmm.

Up Next, more about the Rock.

JVC Rock Returns of KOTR

Undertaker's Thursday (4:39) So like, match Sunday. Undertaker could make a mess of this one too!

Next, Test vs the Big Valbowski. You WILL call them the Anti-Americans.

Let's go back two weeks ago, for the Anti-Americans interrupting America the Beatiful. They don't like America, you see. (1:20)

this is a test Test (and he is an Anti-American with ads) vs the Big Valbowski - Since they're pushing this as a Anti-America instead of Pro-Canada thing, I guess no one mentions where Edge is from till at least Sunday and maybe Thursday. It's funny how Al repeats something Cole said 30 seconds ago, as if he wasn't listening. Lockup, no Cal will duck, right, right, right, kick, kick, kick, right, corner whip, reversed, Test charges in for a clothesline but Val's already out of the corner. Drop toe hold, dropkick, forearm to the back, barricade smash. Test thrown in, Val follows and gets killed by a clothesline. Right right right right. Right. Corner whip, Test charges in with a clothesline. Corner whip, Test charges in and hits another clothesline. Confidential ad reminds us we're about 1:15 past the hour. Right. Back elbow. Back elbow. Back elbow. Val pulling himself up using Test - there's a right to chop him back down. Pulling himself up again - right again. Val might want to try something else. No he won't. Test with another right, but Val blocks it this time - right right right oh a knee will stop that. Test charges for another clothesline, but gets a boot. Val charges, ducks a clothesline, shoulderblock. Clothesline. Back elbow. Slam, off the ropes, knee drop. One two no. Whip, reversed into a short knee. Pumphandle, pick up but Val slides behind, but Test back elbows him anyway. Test recovers, and tries to grab Val from behind, but Val with trips him up - there's the reverse figure four! I'm the only one who cares about this! Test is screaming in pain, so maybe he cares. Will he tap out? He's thinking about, but he also reaching - got it. Long reach helps there. Val up, charging, and right into the full nelson release slam. One two no. Test limping but up, right blocked and Val hits his. Test hits a right, off the ropes, into a knee. Val off the ropes, ducks the big boot, spinebuster. Val's pumped, but Test is up too quick for the Money Shot. Or the Swingout Powerbomb is his finish now and that's why he's going for it - I guess it doesn't matter, because Test rather blatantly hits a low blow mule kick and gets a DQ. (4:33) Val's announced as winner, just as he gets the Big Boot to the face. Test may not have won but play his music because he's the one walking away. Replays.

Rock vs Angle! Later.
