Scotty 2 Hotty (Westbrook, ME, 217 pounds) vs Jared Steele (already in the ring, Pittsburgh, PA, 235 pounds) - see, THIS is what happens when Val Venis is on RAW. I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time Scotty's worked since Velocity ended, but it sure feels that way. Oh, yes, this is HEAT #450, and your hosts are Todd and Coach. Coach says this was a trade he quietly made, Todd asks who went the other way, Coach tells him to shut up. Well okay. Crowd is happy to see Scotty. Scotty's happy to see a crowd. Lockup, Armbar, twist, reversed by Jared, Scotty kips into a reversal, headlock, shot off - no, Scotty holds on. Your ref is Marty, by the way. Jared still can't get out of that headlock, no matter what he tries. He finally loosens it with an elbow, Scotty shot off, back with a shoulderblock. Scotty looks thinner. Off the ropes, over, waved by, Scotty hangs onto the ropes sideways. At least he came up with something new. Jared is low to realize it, and Scotty fired back with punches. Whip, hiptoss, hiptoss. Snap mare, off the ropes, dropkick to the face one two NO. Armbar. Coach and Todd talk about the Worm. Todd mentions "the old tag team, Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty." Ha ha. Scotty shot off into the corner, and gets his boot up on a charge. Middle rope flying neckbreaker is evaded by Jared, and he's his shot here. Elbow drop, one two no. Boot to the head. Axhandle to the back. Jared with a facelock, Scotty cradles him in as mall package, one two no. Jared with a headlock takedown, keeping his weight on Scotty. While nothing is going on, Coach non-discusses his plans for WM. Front facelock. Scotty gets to his feet, punches, and stopped by a Jared forearm. Scotty walks himself to the corner, and Jared follows in with a lame jumping elbow. That didn't look much good. Jared works him over with kicks and punches. Jared stops to argue with the ref, and Scotty starts his comeback with punches. Whip, reversed, Jared stops him with a kneelift, elbow drop, one two no. Back to the reverse facelock. Jared rallying up. Scotty elbowing out, but Jared stops him again with a forearm. Jared charges the corner again, Scotty moves this time, and lands a jumping clothesline. Scotty knocks down Jared down a couple times, whip, backdrop looks really bad but that's on Jared I think. Jared's standing up in the right spot, and Scotty's radar picks it up despite facing the wrong way. Scotty teases it. Off the ropes, bulldog in position. Scotty look at the crowd, smiles signals, does a dance, W O R M woo woo woo who who who ha. (6:04)

The Marine: now on DVD

Eugene (Louisville, KY, 242 pounds) vs Daniel Rodimer (Clearwater, FL, 275 pounds) - Eugene's a good guy still. Coach: "Do we really have to?" Coach is very regretful that he didn't end Eugene's career when he could've. Rodimer gets his own entrance, so we can all learn it's pronounced road-EYE-mer. Rodimer played football for South Florida, and we're supposed to be impressed by that. Which is better than Coach talking about how impossibly hot Daniel (and Coach) is. He's Jindrak, basically. Your ref is Jack. Eugene wants a handshake, and he gets slapped sorta. Right. Kick. Forearm to the back. Suplex. One two no. Forearm to the back. Axhandle to the back. Choke in the ropes, and hanging Eugene upside in the ropes to shoulder him in the back. Right. Todd: "We've never seen Rodimer on WWE programming, this is his debut." Yea, he's a former Tough Enough 1,000,000 loser, though I'm okay with pretending that never happened. Shoulder. Right. Boot choke. Coach and Todd say Daniel's unsigned and this is a tryout. Forearm.  Eugene trying to headbutt his way up, and stopped with more forearms. Whip, Eugene back with a forearm. Eugene off the ropes, and he gets beheaded with a clothesline. Rodimer with a reverse neck vice hold. Eugene trying to fire up out of it. Eugene turns the hold, but is stopped with a knee. Turnbuckle smash - oh no. And another. There's the third. YOU. Block punch, right, left, right, left right, left windup right. Off the ropes, jumping shoulderblock. Off the ropes, clothesline. Rock Bottom - yes! One two NO. Eugene setting up - kick wham holding it, shoved off, Eugene rebounds back into a shoulderblock, and Eugene's the one going down. Rodimer going back with that revere neck vice/reverse neckbreaker hold, but Eugene reverse to a backslide one two three! (4:16) Coach: "I don't think that's the way Rodimer wanted his RAW career to begin." Yea, I'm thinking this match wont' have ever happened next time we see him.

Who will the Undertaker challenge? Well, we don't know. But we do know who Batista challenged in 2005, and so we see that.

RAW February 21, 2005 - which contract will Dave sign? This was Batista turning on Triple H, always fun. The thumbs up/thumbs down would've been awesome if he didn't do it every week, but what can you do. It's still great here. (7:30)

Cade leans in the ring to yell at Rory. Robby stomping the mat, but that doesn't quite help. Coach feels bad that he signed this match - it's a mismatch. Rory elbows out of the hold, so Trevor tags back out to Cade. They're keeping Vis out, which is probably for the best. Cade stops Rory from tagging, and drops him with a back suplex. One two no. One two no. Coach is in love with Cade again. Forearm, week chinlock, but I guess he's just opening him up with forearms. Tag to Viscera, who kicks Rory. Turnbuckle smash. Hard chest slap. Choke. Chest slap. Corner whip, Rory rebounds out into Vis's boot. Tag to Trevor, who gets in a free shot. Rory fights free for a second, but Trevor stomps him down.
