corp open. show open.

It's YET ANOTHER special edition of Heat (#435), and your hosts are the very special Todd and Coach. They might have just changed shirts and recorded this one after the last one. Anyway, even though we're 10 days away from Halloween, they've got absolutely nothing to show, so it's time for a Halloween themed edition of Previously Recorded Matches. Specifically, they're featuring 'people who were masks and costumes' - I hope we get one of them good Ultimo Dragon/Funaki tag matches. Or not, as they talk about Mankind instead. Coach pays off Todd for killing off 5 seconds of my life.

SummerSlam August 3, 1997: Mankind vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley [cage] - we join just in time for the superplex. You know, an underrated part of Vince going from announcer to personality is this period where they had two play by play guys (Vince and JR) happily came to an end. The cage being shut on Mankind's head was a big spot at this point, as opposed to being mostly forgotten when done on Edge a few weeks ago. Here's Chyna coming in too soon, there's Foley pulling open his vest to reveal a blob which looked like a heart, if not for a lot of sweat, and Mick beats him out.

Eric Bischoff talks about massive egos - not his own. I think Eric would approve of you stealing this book, if you can get away with it - it seems to fit his beliefs.

RAW October 31, 2005: Todd Grisham with the 27th worst Harry Caray impersonation. Cameo by Gregory Helms.

Todd and Coach discuss Helms back when he was back when he was in a mask.

RAW March 10, 2003: the Rock vs the Hurricane. Hey, look, the old TNN logo - something as meaningful today as Hurricane's win. Rock with the cape! The comedy extends to kick to the head they tried here. I guess the Fire Paxson sign means we're in Cleveland? The "Bum Vent" sign surely means that. This is a long chinlock here - where they running short. I love how JR goes on a big rant about how Hurricane will never quit, and Lawler immediately adds "yea, he should tap out right here." POSE. "Only two! There's only one left when there's only two!" JR's quite losing his mind, that's always fun. They couldn't have the Hurricane disappear faster out of the scene if they tried (and they did!)

Cyber Sunday: main event

Rey Mysterio highlights

Todd and Coach discuss if "heart the size of Texas" or "heart the size of Alaska" is a better phrase. So much time to fill.

SD! April 7, 2006: Randy Orton vs Rey Misterio [WWE]: this was part of the pre-Randy Orton suspension job-a-thon, and I watched it very quickly.

WWE Mobile ring tones.

Coach walks off the stage in protest of the next clip. Well, mostly off the stage. Oh no, it's something unhilariously DX.

DX parodies the McMahons. This is so horrible, even in edited form.

Todd dances. This show needs to end. And after one more anti-DX rant, one more spat of dancing, and Coach saying "end the show before I slap you", that's it.
