corp open. show open.

It's Heat #434, but it's the WWE Excess studios, so it must mean it's another Special Edition Of Heat. (2nd in a series of 3 - or 4 - or maybe forever, we'll see - or you'll see, I'll just take a nap if we're not getting any matches again.) Your hosts are Todd and the Coach - no CSTV commitments today? The talk is about WWE Family Reunion, so the theme is to talk about the newest members of the family. Well, less talk and more show clips of to kill some time.

RAW (new logo!) October 24, 2005: Mickie James vs Victoria. Hey, remember when Victoria, Torrie and Candice were a group for no reason? No reason I remember. The idea here is not to talk about Mickie's debut (where she seems to wear a skirt that actually covers something up, how odd!), but to hype Taboo Tuesday. The lead in reminds us that we're supposed to think Mickie as just 'strange' now, but actually, Victoria's the one working crazy in this match. Also, you had Coach and Lawler as the announce crew, a great era us for all. This match reminds me that SHIMMER's next show is next weekend in the greater Berwyn area. I may be ditching social obligations to go watch wrestling for upwards of six hours - but it's also a good show for those of you not insane. At this point, I don't think Ashley can even pound the mat correctly, which is sorta sad. Full match airs (3:25) which is probably shorter than those SHIMMER matches.

Cyber Sunday ad. Do people often type in dark empty rooms? I feel like I'm missing out.

Cryme Tyme: workout. (1:27) This seemed better when it was the Public Enemy.

Coach reminds us that Cryme Tyme will debut on RAW, which is news to Todd. Anyway, SEGUE into the Spirit Scream. Coach actually admits they're irritating - but he also actually remembers all five names. Way to exceed low expectations, Coach.

RAW April 3, 2006: Kane & the Big Show vs the Spirit Squad [WORLD TAG]: Now we're onto Joey/King/Coach on announcing. Kane sadly does not enjoy Mikey's wacky dancing. What did they do with those gigantic posters of Triple H and Mark Henry, or whoever? Did they stick them in a warehouse? I don't think I really want to know. It IS nice we're getting full matches, I want to make sure I say that. The selection of the matches still seems off, but baby steps. This is not where Kane his the voices - this is where Kane's in 90% of the match, but the Spirit Squad end up beating Show. (6:08)

WWE Mobile Ringtones

Jeff Hardy video package. He's not really New. (:23)

Which Todd points out. Is Coach GM of RAW? Coach seems to be of the belief that Coach is GM of RAW.

RAW October 2nd, 2006: wow, this only feels like it happened two Mondays ago. And it's joined in progress. (4:24 of match shown)

WWEShop.com - Carlito

"Umaga's Path Of Destruction." Lots of cigars dying in the making of this video. (:30)

Coach at least shares the credit for making the next match with Vince. How nice of him.

RAW: Umaga vs Kane [loser leaves town]: I have no problem with showing this, even it's from Monday - if someone's leaving, it should needs to be shown as if it's important. This airs in full, because it's only 5 minutes or whatever. (3:10) Or that, that's good. So how long till Kane turns up on RAW? Next 'Season Premier' at the latest, for sure. Maybe Kane can go find that guy who had his mask now.

Todd and Coach backhand rip WWE.com. Todd: "One of the best matches we've seen on RAW this year." Uh HUH. Anyway, who's going to be new this year? Coach, out of context: "You don't even know a man named Jim."

Todd: "Anyway, we've got to get out here, I know you have a special meeting you've got to get to-"
Coach: "Yea, Mr. McMahon's waiting for me, say goodbye!"
Todd: "There's a pizza man with two pies with your name on it, that's not Mr. McMahon."

That's it.
