the filler is starting. open.

Your solo host this week is Todd Grisham. Another "special" no taping week, so the theme is Diva Highlights from past WrestleMania. "Actually, I put into host the Hairiest Wrestlers from WrestleMania special, but I got this one instead." Todd's been shopping in Matt Hardy's closet by the look of that shirt. Torrie vs Candice discussion leads to Todd hyping Torrie & Sable vs Stacy (and no one)...

Torrie Wilson & Sable vs Stacy Keibler & Miss Jackie (Gayda) in an Evening Gown Match (WrestleMania XX) - funny how Todd forget that last name. The story going in to this match was Stacy and Jackie being jealous of Torrie and Stacy being in Playboy, while the booking idea was apparently management being annoyed with Stacy and Jackie passing on being in Playboy, if you believe Jackie now. They couldn't have been too annoyed; they did get a match on WrestleMania after all. Everyone takes off their dresses before the match to wear stuff which actually isn't that much more revealing then their normal gear, but I supposed that's not the point. Jackie randomly refuses to take off her dress so they start the match by taking it off her, and then we have every practiced diva match ever, completed with two count rollup section, rolling over Jack Doan spot and Tazz and Cole saying "Look at [X]" five hundred times. Torrie pins Jackie (2:33) and teases pulling more off for whatever reason.

WrestleMania Diva Moment: Sunny accompanies LOD2000 to the ring.

Todd expounds way too much effort to explain "Molly wanted a title shot/to be on WMXX, so she put up her hair."

Molly Holly vs Victoria with Molly's hair and the Women's Championship on the line (WMXX, joined in progress) - they choose to pick up the match in the middle of a Molly Holly neck vice with the crowd absolutely dead. Doesn't help that it sounds like JR & King are whispering. Victoria tries to back elbow out, but Molly takes her down by the hair. Elbow drop, no one home, doesn't really matter. Molly tries to pick up Victoria, Victoria kicks her away and jackknife pins her for two. Victoria with right hands, but Molly stops her with a kick. Off the ropes, into a Vic powerslam one tow no. Lawler is awful and JR is being suckered in. Molly manages to trip Victoria onto the bottom rope and climbs up, but Victoria stops her with a punch. Victoria tires for a superplex, but Molly frees herself with punches - sunset flip bump (with a big hitch in the middle) one two NO. Molly can't believe it. Molly trying for a powerbomb? No, the Widow's Peak, but Victoria slides out and gets a backslide, one two three. (3:38) JR kinda mocks the stip immediately, but I'm not distracted by Victoria's music - a generic cover of the T.a.T.u. song that should be her. Molly tries to bolt, goes backstage, and makes the mistake of coming back. Oh, she's going to shave Victoria - but the razor isn't on, that's a problem. Should've gone for the scissors. Victoria ties her up and shaves her. The barber stands by and does nothing white Victoria shaves her - easy payday for him! They clip ahead because it takes too long and that's that.

Big Time Moment: Roddy Piper puts out a fire, 1989. Does anyone still know who Morton Downey Jr. is? Do you think whoever's airing this clip knows he's been dead for five years?

WrestleMania Diva Moment: Jenny McCarthy with Shawn Michaels, Pamela Anderson with Diesel. That was the deal where they were the women supposed to come out with the other person, but HBK did something HBK-ish and things changed.

Marvelous Marc Mero & Sable vs the Artist Formerly Known As Goldust & Luna (WrestleMania XIV, joined in progress) - Storyline, the setup here was the Mero & Goldust (from the random team generator) lost a tag match at the previous PPV to the Headbangers when their significant others couldn't get along and so we get this. Mero had apparently turned heel during a year long rehab for an ACL tear and they were still just doing a slow tease of the breakup at this point. In reality, this was designed to be a showcase for Sable, with the WWF (note the very visible blurred logo) putting a toe in the water to see if they could use her for more than arm candy. Fittingly, we join with the men making tags to the women. Seeing the differences between Sable here and Sable six years later in the opener is a bit jarring. Sable takes down Luna and pounds her, and the crowd goes nuts. Sable pulls her up by her hair, and works her over. High kicks in the corner, and tossing her by the hair. Shot for Goldust for being on the apron.  Sable clotheslines Line out, and yells at ref Jimmy Korderas some more. Luna crawls in and tags Goldust. Sable backs up - and then gets Goldust with a forearm. Mero wants a tag and Sable reluctantly gives it - into the steps goes Goldust. MEro beings him back in, but eats knees on a slingshot splash. Sable tries to get Goldust from the apron, which draws Korderas over, and allows Mero to get in his (then) trademark low blow uppercut. Mero loads Goldust up for the TKO, but Goldust counters with a DDT. Cover for two. Whip, reversed, head down too soon, and Goldust throws Mero into the corner. Mero rebounds out backwards, which leaves him in perfect position for the Curtain Call - but Mero escapes and lands on his feet. Running kneelift knocks Goldust down. Mero going up - double jump moonsault bodyblock which the camera completely whiffs on, one two no. Corner whip, Goldust gets a back elbow up on the charges. Goldust climbing up, and Mero crotches him on the corner. Mero up after him - top rope 'rana! One two NO. King: "You got admit, that's something Sable couldn't ever do!" Mero off the ropes, Luna gets in a kick from the apron. Mero grabs her - is he going to punch her? Teasing it, teasing it, Goldust finally charges, Mero moves, Goldust collides with Luna. Inside cradle one two NO. Whip, Goldust lifted up again, and the TKO doesn't look too sharp.  One two NO, Luna jumps on Mero's back. Mero stumbles around, trying to get loose, and Sable makes the blind tag. She covers Goldust and counts her own three count, but Korderas is busying himself with getting Mero loose and to his corner. Luna slips away to the top rope in the shuffle, Korderas finally notices the pin and starts counting, one two, Luna jumps, Sable moves, Luna splashes Goldust. Sable grabs Luna, and the crowd goes nuts. Powerbomb, one two NO.  Sable picks up Luna, only to get a thumb to the eye. Luna choking her on the ropes. Loud SABLE chant. Mero's surprised. Choke on the ropes. Luna gets the running sit choke on the ropes to work once, but not twice. Luna remains in control, and works Sable over with shoulders in the corner. Whip, reversed, Sable loads her up - TKO. One two three. (5:43 shown) Sable and Mero share a look, and then Mero realizes that he won and is pretty happy. Sable wants nothing to do with him. This match was seen as much better than it anyone believed it would be at the time and sparked her huge career, though she probably never had a better match than this one and she kinda lost a retirement match the next month. But that's another story.

WM21: Triple H vs John Cena

WrestleMania Diva Moment: WMXX, Bobby Heenan and Gene Okerland are in the close with Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young.

Todd notes you really can't do this show with a Trish match, so here'es one with lots of confetti!

Trish Stratus (TdotO) vs Victoria (no entrance) vs Jazz (no entrance) for the Women's Championship (WrestleMania XIX) - they clip from Trish's entrance to the match in progress, for whatever reason. We join with Trish landing a Thesz Press and a bunch of forearms on Jazz. Corner whip, reversed, Jazz charges into a boot. Trish starts to climb  up, but Victoria pulls her hard to the floor. Forearm for Jazz, Victoria climbs back in the ring throws Jazz out. Victoria slide out as Trish attacks Jazz - Victoria gets Trish from behind to knock her down. Trish thrown in, Victoria lands her slingshot somersault legdrop, one two Jazz pulls her off. Jazz with her own jumping legdrop, one two Victoria pulls her off. Victoria and Jazz face off - and apparently agree to work over Trish. LOOK, STEVIE! Double sorta-shoulderbreaker. Jazz turns on Victoria, striking her. Whip, reversed, Vic with a powerslam one two NO.  Right hands by Victoria. Shoulders to the midsection. Trish is back up - there's a reverse bodyscissors rollup with aback bridge, one two no, and Victoria beheads her with a clothesline. Victoria stalking Trish as she gets up, then grabbing her and crazy talking her into the ropes. Whip, head down too soon, Trish kicks her up and clotheslines her down. Trish works over Vic with right hands, but Jazz stops her with a forearm to the back. Jazz loads Victoria up on her shoulder - shoulder powerbomb one two NO. Victoria is a little late to break it up, but Jazz decides to blame her for breaking up the pin anyway. They push and Jazz slaps Victoria, but Trish jumps them both before more can happen. Noggin knocker. Trish with punches for both women, but Victoria holds her in a full nelson. Jazz sets up, standing spin kick gets Victoria, Trish inside cradle one Jazz, one two NO. Trish with a headscissors rollup, one two NO. Chick Kick, one two Victoria breaks that one up. Trish ducks a Victoria clothesline and forearms her a few times. Corner whip, charge in, but Victoria get sup a knee. Vic to the middle ropes, but that just leaves her open for the Stratusphere. Clotheslines for Jazz, chops for Victoria, chops for Jazz. Victoria's kicked out of the ring, but Jazz trips Stratus up and puts on a half crab. Trish in a lot of trouble, but moving towards the ropes. a long way to go - and Jazz cuts her off by switching to an STF. Trish in bad shape, but she's going to get some help - Jack Doan argues with Victoria for no reason, allowing Steven to break up the STF and throw Jazz out. Jazz gets to the apron, Victoria tries to grab Trish, Trish moves and gets Victoria in a waistlock, pushing her forward to boink into Jazz. Waistlock rollup by Trish, one two Vic reverses and pulls the shorts up, one two  NO. Jazz in, knocking Victoria down and grabbing Trish - there's the Bitchlock. We're well into the period where JR either refuses to call or doesn't bother to know the name of any midcarder's trademark move; this one might be a refusal. Jazz drops Trish hard and celebrates - "I'M THE BEST!" and Victoria gives her a thrust kick. Vicky all the way up - moonsault, no one home! Jazz and Victoria up, Jazz charges, and Victoria backdrops her to the apron. Jazz lands on her feet on the floor (something go wrong?), so Victoria punches her down. Doan takes a look at that, and misses Steven charging in the ring to hit Trish with a chair. Trish moves, Steven hits the ropes, and the chair hits him. Steven gets Stratusfaction! Victoria up and grabbing Trish for the Widow's Peak, but Trish slips free. Victoria immediately stops her with a kick. Off the ropes, hard kick to the midsection one two THREE. (6:46) Back in the studio, Todd reminds us that was for her fourth title, and she's going to defend it against Mickie at WrestleMania. "And, I don't need to remind you - but I will because I'm a host of a show on WWE.com" WrestleMania is just around the corner. Todd suggests watching more WM matches on WM24. WWE Shopzone plug - buy the WM Magazine.

Todd's all out of plugs. That's it.
