result: Paul Burchill and William Regal b Paul London and Brian Kendrick.

This was the first pre-PPV Heat of the internet era. They did it as they've done all the pre-PPV Heats in the past, except a half hour shorter. Besides the internet, this show also took the place of the canned PPV channel preshow, though WWE neglected to inform anyone. All non-match segments were typical PPV video packages and lineups.

I was out of town this Sunday, and the online video didn't work when I tried it on Tuesday of that week. I wasn't that heartbroken and didn't get around to trying it again before they replaced it with the following week's video.

added 11/13: so they've started putting up links to older editions of Heat, and the links actually work. I probably wouldn't be bothering with this match if it was Parisi/Striker, but this sounded like a good match, and it's being run again for this week's Velocity. Figured I might as well watch them both.

They only have links to the match segments up; if you alter the link, you can get to the other ones, but that's a little too much even for me.

Brian Kendrick & Paul London (365 pounds) vs William Regal and Paul Burchill (England, 504 pounds) - Kendrick and London are wearing matching No Mercy shirts and do matching sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiides into the ring. Your ref is Brian Hebner. London and Regal to start. Lockup, Regal backs London into the corner, back out with a headlock, Regal shot off and back with a shoulderblock. Regal off the ropes, London tries a hiptoss, Regal blocks it, grabs London in a front facelock, and pulls him back into the corner. Tag to Paul. Burchill with an armbar, whip, head down too soon, London sorta flips over, tag to Brian, both duck clotheslines and give Burchill a double armdrag, kick to the chest and kick to the back, one two no. Kendrick with a headlock, Burchill tries a back suplex, Brian lands on his feet and dropkicks him. Burchill's backed into the corner, Kendrick charges, backdrops to the apron, hard forearm for Burchill, but Regal pulls Kendrick off and to the floor hard. London complains, and goes out to help his partner. Some danger of him being counted out here, but Kendrick is back in at six, and pounded by Burchill . Big European Uppercut. One two no. Turnbuckle smash, tag to Regal, Kendrick kicked down. Cobra clutch? Kinda. Kendrick's reaching for a tag but he's a long way way. He's slowly moving it, so Regal switches up, and flips Kendrick with a "half nelson back suplex", and he knows better than I. Kendrick grabs the bottom rope to prevent more damage, and London gets a shot before he's escorted out of the ring, which actually allows Burchill to get in his chokes. Regal gets in a knee choke while making a tag to Burchill. Back suplex by Burchill, one two NO. PB not happy with the count. Front facelock, tag to Regal, left to the head. Front facelock. Kendrick moving it towards the corner, moving it, into a headlock, Regal kicking London to draw him in, Brian stops London, Regal whips Kendrick, Kendrick comes back with an oddly delayed spinning headscissors, and a superkick for Burchill. There's the tag. London comes in with a slingshot kick for Regal. Another forearm for him, scary looking 'rana for Burchill, backdrop for Regal, Dropsault kicks Burchill and lands on Regal! One two NO Burchill breaks it up. London with knees and forearms for him to knock him out. Corner punches for Regal - he axhandles Burchill on ten, then teams up with Kendrick for a double dropkick on Regal. London holds Regal in a double chickenwing for a Kendrick running forearm, but Burchill trips up Brian. London with a corner whip, Regal reveres, both both Brits charge, London kicks them both. London tries a second rope moonsault bodyblock, the Brits half catch and stumble, then Regal collapses grabbing his knee? Burchill has a hard time, but lifts London up on his own and drops him with his Shoulderbreaker. Kendrick comes in just long enough to knock both himself and Burchill out of the ring. Inside the ring, Regal slowly puts London in the Regal Stretch, and tells London that's it. He's right! (5:09) Kendrick dove in too late (and too short) to break it up, but better was Burchill grabbing him even later to stop him from breaking it up. Regal is slow and careful as he leaves the ring, obviously limping. Brian signal a knee injury to the back, I think.

I'm gonna by pass the hype for No Mercy. Don't think I could take the main event video package.
