List ‘Em and Learn: Episode 6: Life-Affirming Life

List ‘Em and Learn is back, this time covering everyone’s favorite topic: WCW. Alan4L joins Matt to determine why WCW managed to stay in business until 2001: sometimes it had good matches. Also lots of other reasons but on this show we just talk about the matches. To be more specific, Alan and Matt list their top 10 WCW matches of the 1990s. Mystery partners, shovels to the head, double cages, and a whole bunch of Dustin Rhodes populate the lists. Sit back and enjoy a trip back to a time when many people didn’t have on-screen interactive channel guides

List ‘Em and Learn Episode 5: Looking Up (at) the Star(s) (ratings)

List ‘Em and Learn is back as Justin Shapiro joins Matt once again to count the top 10 WWE PPVs from 2000-present. We look at the ups and ignore the downs as we travel down memory lane to a time after Russo when wrestling matches featured so many slams, holds, maneuvers, and strikes that people couldn’t help but rate them with several asterisks. We tackle important issues such as, what would one be addicted to cracking when punks start static, and whose way are we going to do things. On top of that, we determine which WWE PPV comes closing to matching TNA’s epic annual event, Turning Point. It was recorded on Yom Kippur, and Justin and Matt discuss a number of events that have nothing to atone for, so check it out!”

JUSTIN SHAPIRSHOW EPISODE 11 – E! BOLA

California…” – John McClane, Die Hard 2: Die Hard 2

The prodigal Matt Feuerstein (actor/producer, Royal Pains) returns to join Albert Ching (managing editor, Comic Book Resources) for a discussion of the end of the most famous streak in wrestling, Albert’s legendary run of attending almost every SummerSlam at the Staples Center (excepting 2012, the 1, behind the 1, in 2012). An embedded reporter at the Battle of Los Angeles, Albert also provides a full debriefing on the guerilla warfare, precision strikes, aerial tactics, and dangerous ricochets after three nights of fighting. In the interest of equal time laws, they also preview the unprecedented third season of Total Divas — you’ve heard of a dinner bell, but a Bella lunch? Plus an examination of the rematch clause, the latest casting news on an upcoming WWE Film, and of course, what we all look for in these encounters: bone-rattling slams. A show so check it out.

List ‘Em and Learn Episode 4: Ladders and Laundry

List ‘Em And Learn returns to wrestling in its 4th edition, as we run down the top 10 WWF matches of the 1990s. Matt is joined by two wrestling podcast superdupericonstars, Alan4L and Joe Gagne, who both happen to be fond of matches and counting backwards. Alan came up with the idea, and he was inspired by one match in particular. Which match was it? If you said a random Aldo Montoya squash match from 1994, you’re right! Or are you? Yes! You are! This edition answers other questions as well, such as, which member of the Right to Censor is Joe Gagne most like? What night of the week did the Steve Austin vs. Savio Vega Caribbean strap match occur? Who wrote the book of love? Who can it be now? Why do birds suddenly appear every time that you’re near? Answers to these questions and more are all one click away! WE ANSWER QUESTIONS ON THIS PODCAST SO CHECK IT OUT~!

List ‘Em and Learn Episode 3: Microchips and Mood Music

List ‘Em and Learn returns for its third installment. This time Matt and his schoolyard bully…I mean schoolyard chum Roger Matthews list the top 10 games for the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Roger bullies Matt again by dropping all kinds of knowledge about each game on the list. If you thought the wrestling podcasts were nerdy, wait until you hear about the MMC3 chip. Parsing and perusing through pixels of plumbers and princesses, it’s an alliterative wonderland of video game excitement. Did your favorite game make the list? The answer is yes, unless you like some weird game no one has ever heard of. IT’S A PODCAST ABOUT VIDEO GAMES SO CHECK IT OUT!

List ‘Em and Learn is back with a whole beach’s worth of sand. That is, it’s listing the top 10 television dramas from 2000-2014. Matt is joined by Washington D.C.-based standup comedian, Michael Foody to talk about all of the heroes, all of the antiheroes, the mystery, the drama, the laughter, the sadness, the wizards, the lizards, and the gizzards. Which one of the shows features gizzards? Um, how about all of them? Duh? IT’S A GRAND OLE TIME, SO CHECK IT OUT!

A brand new podcast has been born. That’s what happens when two podcasts mate. In this case, the mommy was Dr. Keith Presents, and the daddy was The Justin Shapirshow. DKP’s Alan4L and The Shapirshow’s Justin Shapiro join their Ne’er-do-well son, Matt Feuerstein, on his new podcast entitled “List ‘Em and Learn.” Every month it’s going to feature a new countdown on various topics, wrestling and otherwise. For this inaugural edition, these three kooks are counting down the top 20 United States-based wrestlers from 2002-2014, based entirely on their in-ring skills. You might say they’re going to list them wrestlers, and hopefully learn a few valuable life lessons along the way. It’s super long, because Alan and Matt each have their own lists, and Justin sends it all up by satirizing the very notion of putting art and artists into some sort of capitalistic competition. IT’S A TWO-PART MAGICAL FREAKIN’ ADVENTURE, SO CHECK IT OUT!!!!!

JUSTIN SHAPIRSHOW EPISODE 8 – 30 Talk

Whatshisface follows up with Matt F (Royal Pains) to see how things ended up working out with Daniel Bryan at the wrestling matches. Hope, euphoria, fear, doubt: these are all words that could appear in a list of examples of emotions. JMFDM also appraise Wrestlemania in an historical context and then, on a lark, end up hastily rebooking the territory for the last 29 years to verify whether previous Wrestles Mania lived up to their perceived standard in our popular new segment, Guest Booker: No One. A show so check it out.

We crave an internet guy to love
It would be more cooler (cooler)
If you could add in DB
In maybe his role, his role, his role
