www.WindyCityProWrestling.com is finnaly reopened - lots of results, lots of news, so let's see what we can work in this half hour.

WCPW Open

We start off in the locker room, where Cinnamon has said a decidedly not nice word to WCPW Women's Champion Drusala (I guess she could have called Drusala a witch, but I don't see how that'd tick her off - also, without her belt at the moment), and then makes the mistake of turning her back and walking off camera. Drusala picks up a chair and follows, and we hear the chair hit something. When the camera pans over, Cinnamon is laid out and probably unconscious. Drusala talks to her anyway: "It's witch, not bitch!" Hey! Anyway, the real point is the camera follows Drusala as she makes her exit from the locker room, and we notice that Krystal is laid out as well! Looks like someone's eliminating their competition before...

I can't see anything in this shot - oh, now lights are up, and it's 2000CC (w/Neo Blackman) heading to the ring. This is the first time I've seen them in non-battle royale match. Your announcers are Richard T. Sin and Ripper Manson - Sin tells us that 2000CC are UAPW's Tag Team Champions, so I'll tell you they're not actually wearing any belts. And there's the other team and now I understand why they mentioned that fact...

UAPW Tag Team Champions 2000CC (w/Neo Blackman) vs WCPW Tag Team Champions Los Mexicanos (Rudo/Eddy) for the WCPW Tag Team Titles - 2000CC take to their time getting in the ring after Rudo and Eddy enter. Sin says both teams are heels, but 2000CC's Carnage makes the first heel move, distracting Rudo so Cassius can attack from behind. Shot in the corner and a choke. Double chop, and a boot choke. Cassius yells to the crowd, the crowd yells back .Corner whip, Cassius misses the clothesline and Rudo hits the Russian Legsweep, cover one two kickout. Eye gouge by Cassius, tag to Carn-wait, you guys actually have to connect on the tag, okay got it on the second try. Carnage comes in and gets arm dragged immediately. Push in the corner, tag to Eddy, double whip, drop toe hold, flying headbutt. Side slam by Eddy. Sin says that Rudo was a masked luchadore in Mexico (well, where else) before coming here and I don't know that to be untrue but-Eddie tries to go the top rope but gets distracted by Neo Blackman and thrown off by Carnage. Tag to Cassius. Kick. Choke on the ropes. Cassius is big on the choking. Cassius distracts so Carange can choke him with his legs. Now running Bossman sit by Casisus. Whip, boot to the gut, Russian Legsweep. Choke. The variety of moves, let me tell you. Whip, reverse, clothsline misses, cross body but it's caught - fallaway slam. Eddy is slwow to get to his corner and Rudo - to slow, because Carnage runs across the ring decks Rudo before he can get there. Rudo wants in but the ref won't let him in - meanwhile, double corner whip by 2000CC, Cassius gets whipped into to make a clothesline, then throws Eddy right into Carnage's clothesline. Cassius goes to the outside, while Carnage convinces the ref there was a tag he didn't see and gets to stomping Eddy. Hey look, it's a choke. 2000 Chokes & Chokes. That doesn't make any sense at all. Forearms to the back by Carnage as the crowd starts to root for the tag. Carnage goes for a springboard somethingorother but slips in the corner and falls to the mat, while Eddy is stuck kneeling over waiting to be hit. Another forearm to the back takes Eddie down, Carnage grabs him by the head and drops him with a swinging neckbreaker. Push in the corner - choke! Whip, back elbow is avoided, kick by Eddie - I don't know if he calls it a Pedigree but you can. Rudo gets the fans behind him and the tag, but Eddy is painfully slow - there you go, and tag to Cassius. Back elbow for both CC, and then atomic drops for everyone.  Double punding in the corners, double whip by Mexicaons and CC run right into each other. Cassius is kicked out of the ring, and Carnage gets the Low Rider (combination face first powerbomb/Flatliner.) Before the impact is even made, the Warlocks have hit the ring - probably still mad about losing the titles in the first place (DQ 5:24) 4-2 seems to work - and the Warlocks go after 2000CC as well, so at least they're not playing favorites. Balthazaar has trouble doing a pumphandle into a sidewalk slam, but I just wanted to mention him since I finnaly found out how to spell his name. 2000CC take off early, leaving Los Mexicaons to get the every loving crap beat ofut of them - wow, Boston Crab and Camel Clutch on Rudo. Would you be suprised to find out it'll be Los Mexicanos versus the Warlocks at Battle of the Belts?

Battle of the Belts 2000!

WCPW Hotline

Backstage, well, Angel is showing really dedication to her name - she's got angel wings on to her outfit and she's doing a (pre-match?) prayer. I wonder if what already saw what she was praying for? (Not the last match.) Then again, you'd think she wouldn't get along with Drusala. (This is my last week, all the material must go.) Did her hair get more curly and Goldylocks like since we last saw her?

We're back in the ring, with Steve Boz joining five other people, and I guess this is gonna be

WCPW Battle Royale Champion Steve Boz, WCPW Heavyweight Champion Willie "The Bomb" Richardson & Danny B. Good (w/Cinnamon) vs naughty By nature - I think Danny B. Good is a UAPW guy we haven't meat before - we've seen clips of Naughty By Nature in those highlight packages. Before the match, Boz says that they may be fighting later (Battle of the Belts, for Richardson's Heavyweight Title) but tonight they're gonna beat the other guys up. And then the three faces gets jumped, but take control off the ring in now time. Your announcers are Richard T. Sin and Neo Blackman, I think - Sin says that nBn are working for him. nBn are kind enough to line up outside the ring, so they each get a baseball slide dropkick by Willie and in between the ropes planchas by Good and Boz. Good and Boz stomp and punch their way on the floor, and then thrown one of nBn in - they don't tell me so I don't know who. As he gets triple teamed, Sin tells us that Boz trained Richardson. Oh, that was Pokerface, and now he's alone with Willie. Right. Press Slam. Sin brought nBn from Compton. It's tough to root for his team and do play by play at the same time. Tag to Danny. Double whip, double clothesline. Stomp. Pick up, whip, dropkick. Cover one two kickout. Snap mare - running head snap. Tag to Boz - double whip, double backdrop. Boz calls Good back over - double elbow drop. "Let's Go Steve" chant from what sounds like 8 people. Slam, and Boz calls for the knee - oh, know, it's a dancing leg drop. Push in the corner, jab, jab, jab, corner whip, springboard high kick. Muscle pose, crotch chop for nBn. Tag to Good - second rope punch! Right from Bomb, right from Good. Whip, clothsline misses, Pokerface's does not. Tag to I don't know. But whoever it is, they're doing some stopping followed by some choking followed by distracting the referee so Rude (which means the other guy Tully) can come in without a tag and take his place in stomping Good. I guess it shouldn't be too surprising that out of the three man team, the one guy who's no in the title match later is the guy who's getting beat down. More distractiosn so Tully and Pokerface can choke Good in the corner. Tully chops Good which must sound like a tag when you're looking the wrong way, because he gets in without a problem. Right, kick, kick ,kick, kick, kick, pull in the middle of the ring, big right. Whip, clothesline. Taunting the other corner so we can pretend another tag that happened -  this time it's Pokerface in, and he's got a choke for us. Whip, somersault, well, if that was supposed to be a clothesline he timed it all wrong because nothing happens - but Pokerface side belly to belly suplexes him and it's all okay. Cover one two Boz breaks it up. I think it's Tully who comes in without a real tag this time - double whip, dropkick by Tully and a cover , one two and Boz breaks it up again. Whip, head down too soon, Good with a sunset flip but Tully's trying to say up, Rude argues with the about something, Willie comes in and punches Good over but there's no ref. Nice of Pokerface to just stand there adjusting his kneepad while his partner may get pinned. Finnaly the ref is turned around one two kickout shocking. Clothesline by Tully misses, Good's doesn't. Tag to Boz.  Now all nBn - I hope that wasn't supposed to be a 'rana and just ended up looking like a hideous one when it was actually some other strange move from Boz on Pokerface. Boz's legs never make it to Pokerface's shoulders - Pokerface catches them and puts them under his shoulders and the result is less than impressive. Tully misses a clothesline and hits a flying side kick, Rude misses his and gets a jumping back kick. Willie holds Tully for Boz to hit - he sets up for the superkick but it's the full nelson hold so Tully slips free and Willie eats it. Boz is stuck staring at Willie on the floor - low blow by Tully, and now Boz is in trouble. Choke. Break. Choke. Break. Pick up, tag to I've lost track. Double whip, jumping side kick, cover one two. Choke. Clip. CLIP? AWWW

Double dropkick by nBn, cover by someone for one two. I admit it, I can't tell them apart - they're just three black guys with slightly different tights that I've never gotten a chance to know before now. Perhaps if I was watching a TV that wasn't about 2 inches on each side I'd tell you more. Perhaps if it wasn't 1AM and really hot in this room. Given how many people and the type of people who read this, you must be so bored and out of options, you'll forgive this admission. Or maybe you've skipped to the finish. This may actually be better than the actual play by play. Oh, look, nBn made a double tag, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. And Willie hot shots Boz when he looks for a tag, which is probably unethical but understandable because of that superkick. Double flapjack into a Diamond cutter is good enough for the pin, with Good having left the apron to figure out what got in to Willie. (8:12 shown) Both announcers are pretty happy with the finish - it seems as though Neo might have a new person to manage. You know, I never saw Cinnamon before and she's not here now. Now Bomb is back in to stomp Boz - Good asks what 's up and gets punched and then eats a clothesline. Oh, now I see here - she's standing on the outside during all of this, so who knows what she thinks of it. More punches for Boz. Sin: "There is the greatest man in sports entertainment today! None other than Willie "The Bomb" Richardson!" This shocking heel turn is all the weirder with the announcers being so happy for it. Now Cinnamon is up on the apron - is Willie gonna punch her too? No - she's down with this - they slap fists. Cinnamon records it all on a camcorder - Willie with a knee to the gut, and the goes out of the ring looking for something. Ah, yes, a chair. Why wasn't there any under the ring - WHOA that was a harsh one to the head. That was scary. Shot to the back, shot to the back. Steve is down and he ain't even getting up. He may be bleeding form the head here. Willie waits for Boz to get up and gives him a right back down. Another. Slam. Well, there's one way we're gonna end this and it's with a top rope legdrop - here you go. Boz, amazingly, tries to get up after all that but he's just kinda falling on the mat a lot. Here are more punches. Look at the blood. Willie gets the mic. Sin: "Testify! TESTIFY!" Anyway, the sound is good, but you can probably figure out that he had bad things to say about Boz - well, until "The WCPW Locker Room" ran out to finnaly run him off. (Read: Six People - but babyfaces.) Richardson has some not nice things to say to the announcers and the fans and he's done. Boz gets helped up and probably to the back.

Well, where ever Angel was (perhaps a classroom?), she's now in the women's locker room and noticing the damage - odd that not only Cinnamon woke up and came out for Wilie's match and then collapsed again, but she also turned heel since she was knocked out. Or perhaps this isn't on the same time continuity. Who can say. Being the concerned and caring chick that Angel is, she looks to help Cinnamon - and turns around to find Drusala standing behind her - there's a punch and that's all we see of that.
