1917-2004

This past Wednesday, AJ Styles beat (Not Frankie) Kazarian for the X title. Kazarian will get a rematch TODAY. Man it's weird to not type TONIGHT.

And now, from Stage 21 at Universal Studios at Universal Orlando Resort, it's Total Nonstop Action Wrestling Impact! This is episode No. 2 and we are airing on May 11, 2004 (taped May 10, 2004)

KID KASH (with Dallas) v. AMAZING RED (Brooklyn, NY): So they're pushing Kash's return to the X division now. Kash with forearms, Red into the ropes, armdrag from Red. A different armdrag from Red. Spin kick sends Kash off the apron and Red is going to FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YES SENSATIONAL FLIP DIVE OVER THE TOP BY RED! !! !!! !!!! Kash gets back in and begs off, but it was a ploy to send Red to the floor and into Dallas' clutches. Dallas has difficulty throwing Red back over the top rope. It's a tall ring! Inside, Kash with a backbreaker over the shoulder, cover, 2. Kash rips off Super Crazy's trio of moonsaults, but the third one ends up eating knee, which rips off about 40% of Super Crazy's trio of moonsaults. Red with the fucking 718 and I've just had enough of that move. Red DROPS THE DIME for god's sake. I mean how blatant can you get? Two count. PPV is under TEN DOLLARS, YOU FOOL! Red goes for a superplex but Kash counters with a top rope power bomb OR DOES HE? No, he doesn't, it was "countered mid-move" with a 'rana. Red up top, flying elbow misses and this match stinks. Double-underhook piledriver! 1, 2, 3, Kid Kash is your winner. (04'11")

NEXT! Kazarian and Styles - the rematch!

X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - KAZARIAN (challenger) v. AJ STYLES (champion, Gainesville, GA, 218): One kid chants "TNA" by himself but he had a crappy haircut so that's probably why. Your referee is Rudy Charles. "Let's go AJ" chant. Rope-running and nothing hits. Styles with the dropkick and the POSE! Styles is going for the Styles Clash already, but Kazarian gets away. Kazarian charges toward the ropes, Styles dumps him out. Styles goes to fly, Kazarian moves, so Styles jumps around some and POSES! DDT by Kazarian, cover, 2. Slingshot legdrop from Kazarian, 2. Kazarian with an eyerake, Styles kicks up in the corner off a whip, and Kazarian drops him backwards in the electric chair position, bridge, 2, kickout. We need to take a break and the TAPE MACHINES ARE ROLLING! (03'08")

We're back and both men are down with the count ongoing. During the break, AJ Styles hit a roundhouse kick. Three clotheslines and a kick to the head from Styles, Kazarian reverses a corner whip, Styles gets the elbow up, Asai moonsault -> inverted DDT. Cover, 2, kickout. Up for a suplex, Kazarian slides down, flatliner, 2. Boot up in the corner from Styles. STYLES CLASH! 1, 2, 3. (01'40" - 04'48" aired) Kid Kash is in! Dallas is in! Styles doesn't see Dallas, but I'm sure he does now. Blackout from Dallas.

Jarrett video - this is an obscenely bad song.

DAVID YOUNG & THE NATURALS v. RON KILLINGS, KONNAN & B.G. JAMES: They're pushing that Young has lost 54 matches in a row. I think it's weird that James and Konnan are just flunkies for Killings and described as such. Konnan is going to start with Andy Douglas. Konnan with a shoulderblock and you know, seriously, Konnan is still a lot better than a lot of motherfuckers WWE already has, so when that stuff came up about him and people said he sucks, that was a little doofy. Douglas receives a 3-on-1 beatdown and I wonder what happened to the push for the Naturals against AMW last year. Killings kicks Douglas, James covers, 2. Chase Stevens saves. They're in way past the five-count. James hits the double clothesline and the crowd wants Killings. I like how James always sells about a minute of ring time like he's been face-in-peril for 10 minutes. Young and Killings in, Killings with more silly kicks. Cover, 2, 3 on an axe kick. (02'44")

JEFF JARRETT is out - or is he? He is. Nice shirt, dork. Nice handlebar moustache. Who does he think he is? "Hey boys, celebrate all ya want. But there's two things you guys will never ever be - number one, the NWA world heavyweight champion, and number two the first ever, in the history of professional wrestling, king of the mountain. But I got a little news for ya - this Wednesday, on PPV" and he's cut off by the Dream. Long story short: Dusty tells Jarrett he'll defend on June 23 against Killings, Killings says he'll win, and Jarrett promises to bring the King's Court on Wednesday and there will be a public execution. Goodbye, Konnan.

Monty Brown is NEXT!

This Wednesday! AMW v. Abyss & Monty Brown! Team Canada v. Team NWA! AJ Styles v. Dallas!

Are You Down? D-Lo Brown, Coming Soon

MONTY BROWN v. SONNY SIAKI (The Isle of Samoa): Brown attacks right away. You might say ... he pounces. Bahaha. They're trying to sell this as a match of linebackers, irresistible force v. immovable object, and I'm not buying it. Brown dominates. Backstage, ABYSS and GOLDYLOCKS look on. Siaki can't knock Brown down. Forearm finally does it. Siaki with a chop, Brown catches him, Siaki gets away, off the ropes, POUNCE! 1, 2, 3. (02'02")

Boy they didn't actually sell much commercial time, did they?

IWA-MS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION PETEY WILLIAMS, BOBBY ROODE & ERIC YOUNG (with Scott D'Amore) v. MR. AGUILA, ABISMO NEGRO & HEAVY METAL (with Our Spanish Announce Team of Armando Quintero and Moody Jack Menendez and SAP Where Available): Your referee is Rudy Charles. Everyone starts fighting. Roode and Aguila to the floor, Williams and Young to the floor, and Metal and Negro stand in the ring. Williams and Negro start proper, pin reversals to start. Negro with a powerslam, tag to Aguila. Williams with a side kick, cover, 2. Roode tags in and dominates. Tag to Young and Don West is just dying, it's less than ten dollars!! D'Amore and Petey get cheapshots in. Petey tags in and Aguila gets a double clothesline. Tag to Negro and he ... moonsaults Bobby Roode's legs. Haha, every time I go to type his full name, I almost put "Booby". It's a pier six mess now and it's not exciting. Dives from Team Mexico and Metal is in with Roode. Roode with a powerslam, 2, kickout. Spinning heel kick from Metal, cover, 2. Roode with a DVD on Metal, 2. 3. (05'36") Team Canada attacks after the match until HECTOR GARZA comes in. He's overwhelmed too. I like how captain Garza came in and took out Roode and Young right away before captain Petey took him down. TEAM NWA comes in to brawl, and we're out of time!

This stunk. I'm going to Lafayette for IWA MS, see you later!
