Cibernetico is the second champion. Sect lit a table to put him thru again, but HBs made the save, and Chessman put Ozz thru it.
Niebla and Abismo eliminated each other from the tournament final. Legion tried to get involved, but were balanced out by a bunch of tecnicos. Zorro appears to have won on his own.
Sabu replaced Ron Killings on the Legion team. Chavo Guerrero, here for Eddie's induction into the AAA HOF, was the mystery tecnico partner. Scott Steiner beat Charly Manson.
Another in the unending Konnan/Roldan segments introduced La Parka Jr., who will be returning soon, again.

Chessman took a bad bump in this match. Shocking. He'd reappear in the main event, so he did not die. Extreme Tiger got the money.

Zorro is the final man to advance. Surprisingly (?), he went over Super Fly who went over Billy Boy who went over Scorpio. Not the results I'd have called.
Chessman fell from a ladder out of the ring... don't know if it was the intended spot or they pulled a Manson-Madero..
At this point you have to assume work based on the reports that he died at Triplemania and then still managed to work the next day including taking a scarier bump.
Extreme or Xtreme or X-Treme Tiger wins enough money to buy a plane ticket and disapear forever.

If Chavo is smart he will stay in Mexico for a few more weeks and get a booking at Arena Mexico since they've announced they are bringing back a bunch of "legends" building up to the September show.

Decnis actually got pinned by Head Hunter and then Pirata eliminated the big man. BUT I THOUGHT DECNIS HAD A 7 IN 10 CHANCE OF WINNING? DAMN YOU SUPER LUCHAS!

If Ciber wins then I have Extreme Tiger to blame for not being perfect.:( And with Zorro winning it seems like Ciber winning is a no-brainer.

I love how there are a billion things to bash Cibernetico for but the guy who gave a live report to Super Luchas said "Ciber only wrestled 10 minutes." Riiiiiiight... a one-on-one match only lasted 10 minutes while CMLL Arena Mexico main events with *six wrestlers* barely last 9 minutes on a weekly basis.
Booking wise, the right guys won except the tag with Steiner and Chavo. The faces should of won it for Eddie.
The ladder match was pointless in the first place. It didn't matter who won. It would of been great too see Teddy Hart win it to actually build him up so the fans can keep an eye on him in the future.
Do we know how many keys were collected in Monterrey for the Pena statue? I hope they got enough to finish the statue, or they'll spend more time during NotiAAA promoting this thing for future tapings.
Hey cubs, how was the show you attended at Cicero Stadium? That place looks great durin Roller Girls and Telefutura boxing.
I didn't make it out to the show in Cicero this weekend. I want to do it next weekend, but may end up watching NCAAs instead.
