Waiting for Anivversary card.

More like dreading the Anniversary card, at this pace, we'll see the Revolucionarios card with even more old and washed UWA guys. My prediction right now would be Perrillo taking Villano III's hair in a cage match.

Arena Mex segunda makes it! my faith in Tv programmers/CMLL is slightly restored again :)
This should be awesome, but i only hope it wasn't butchered too badly as it went 20 minutes. 16-17 minutes of it and i'd be content :)

Now if we can just get Stuka/Metalico from last Sunday to open up the main show, a real dreadful looking weeks TV could actually turn out OK.

Shame next Fridays Arena Mex segunda has no chance of airing though :(

Right; Anniversary card lineup is around the corner, time for....... some absolutely pointless, useless fantasy booking :D

(i'll assume Mistico's back)

Estellar:
mascara V caballera 4-way:
Blue Panther v Villano V v Perro Aguayo v Lizmark Jr

Semi:
Mistico/Shocker/Negro Casas v Ultimo Guerrero/Atlantis/Toscano

Cuarta:
Dr Wagner/Rey Buccanero/Volador V Averno/Mephisto/Sangre Azteca

Tercera:
Felino/Sagrado/Sombra V Euforia/Nosferatu/Satanico

Segunda:

Initial:
Neutron/Sombra De Plata/Tigre Blanco V Caligula/Messala/Super Comando

I wish...

20 minutes for la Segunda? I doubt it would get to have 12, and they could probably have to stay in the ring so they don't run into the fans who by then will be walking to get to their seats, once they're there, the match will end immediately.

The anniversary show will have:

Cage of death:

Atlantis, Ultimo Guerrero, Dr Wagner, Mistico, Canek, Villano III, Villano IV, Villano V, Texano Jr, Lizmark Jr, Perrillo Aguayo.

Semi:

Gron XXX, Corleone, Rey Bucanero vs Damian 666, Terrible, Garza

Especial - National tercias title:

Averno, Mephisto, Ephesto vs Volador Jr, Sagrado, Sombra

Segunda:

Marcela, Dark Angel, India Siux vs Amapola, Shimoda, Hiroka

Inicial:

Loco Max, Mr Mexico, Nitro vs Leon-o, Stuka Jr, Super Nova

Hey now! Valiente with two matches in one weekend, what a nice treat. The Arena Mex match looks super. This would be Super Comando's first ever TV Arena Mexico match if you don't count the 1 minute Gran Alternativa. I'm excited to see this one.

Yeah, hopefully regular TV busts out the Stuka Jr. match. Not too high on Metalico.

Another horrible looking Arena Mexico show. Maybe they're booking the worst shows possible so when the average Anniversary show lineup gets released, people think it's amazing just based on how bad the recent shows were and attend it.

Chui wrote on (Reply):

The Valiente match from Coliseo's main event doesn't count, really, it doesn't.

Momentos Estelares had a whole trainwreck sequence, I guess they were "we need to counter Alas de Oro somehow", on a different spot, Mascara Purpura did an Aero Star freefall senton, but from the second rope and not nearly as cool...

Rob wrote on (Reply):

What opened up CMLL TV?

Which match was the trainwreck sequence from?

Chui wrote on (Reply):

The sequence was from
CMLL GdR CAN52 #91 has
08/10 Mexico: Flash, Super Nova, Valiente b Arkangel de la Muerte, Nitro, Súper Comando

so... why bother?

Inicial was Coliseo match with Leono, Metalico, Ramnstein, Apocalipsis, Mr Mexico

Rob wrote on (Reply):

Not bad. Any Stuka Jr. is always good footage and from the pictures Ramstein almost killed himself.

Chui wrote on (Reply):

Was Stuka Jr there? I think he only got to do the match's finisher move.

Henrik wrote on (Reply):

Awesome!. Metalico also busted out a moonsault plancha which would indicate they had their working boots on.

I don't suppose SuperNova hit the springboard somersault plancha in that match? Because it looks like he hit one last Tuesday going by the photos and it looked amazing - far more spectacular than at the Reyes Del Aire.

And speaking of said dive, does Tiger Kid ever bust these out in IWRG? Because from last Sundays photos it looks like he either hit one, or it was the springiest(?) running tope con giro with the most hangtime i've ever saw!

Rob wrote on (Reply):

Kid Tiger does some dives in IWRG but they all look awkward. Best I've seen him do was a running corkscrew ala Mistico and he cracked his stomach on the guardrail but the IWRG guardrail is right beside the ring so that's no accomplishment. He most does his dad's dives.

Rob wrote on (Reply):

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ovaciones says the epic Dos Jr. vs Liz Jr. match drew such a poor crowd that security had to make people sit closer so the TV cameras could make it look like a large crowd.

Chui wrote on (Reply):

Schooooooooooooool is in!! The good thing is that now the promoters have to put up some interesting shows so that the crowd would actually care and assist.

Rob wrote on (Reply):

Super special genius point of the year goes to...

DOS CARAS JR.!

Why?

He only did a normal tope suicida instead of trusting Lizmark Jr. to catch his tope over the top rope. This proves not only is Dos Jr. tall, he's also smart.
