02/01 news: Atlantis hurt? in Puebla, Dos beats Universo in Coliseo, Tajiri in Queretaro

Voting is now open for the 2005 Tapatia awards: ballot, more information, discussion - the links are on the side bar as well, and there's a discussion thread on DVDVR. Voting closes on the 17th.

CMLL (MON) 01/30 Arena Puebla Results [box y lucha]
1) Mr. Rafaga, Murcielago b Blue Center, Kirvan
2) Bobby Jack, Toro Bill, Toro Bill Jr. b Fuerza Chicana, Furia Chicana, Siki Ozama
Rudos vs Rudos match. They teased a Toro Bill/Siki Osama hair match.

4) Averno, Hombre Sin Nombre, Terrible b Black Warrior, La Máscara, Satánico
5) Atlantis, Rey Bucanero, Tarzan Boy b Blue Panther, Dos Caras Jr., Dr. Wagner Jr.
The Box Y Lucha forum recap didn't note anything odd, but Ovaciones says Atlantis was knocked out, and was taken to a hospital, though everything is apparently fine now fine enough that Ovaciones explicitly says Atlantis shouldn't be able to use this as an excuse if he loses the NWA MW Title on Friday.

CMLL (TUE) 01/31 Arena Coliseo Results [ova]
1) Polvora, Vaquero b Rayo Tapatío I, Rayo Tapatío II

Now that Dos has actually beat Universo, he really really wants a title shot. I believe it's a definite maybe.

Wagner in urban camo is pretty much the coolest thing I've seen in some time.

I'm sure this is easy enough to fid out, but how many shows is Tajiri going to work in Mexico?

Tajiri should be around for a month so I assume 24-26 shows depending on how hectic of a schedule he wants to keep.

Ummm... DUH! Look at his opponents! They need a shot at the National Trios Titles like YESTERDAY. BTW, Caligula debuted an awesome yellow outfit. I am quite impressed.
