1) Black Machine & Shamu b Huracan Negro & X-Torm
2) Aquiles & El Galeno b El Faraon & Wama

AULL (SUN) 07/01 Arena Lopez Mateos [observador @ box y lucha]
1) Brazo de Platino & Texano Jr. b Rocky Santana & Solar I
2) Villano III & Villano IV b Negro Navarro & Rambo
3) Villano III & Villano IV b Brazo de Platino & Texano Jr.
4) Maximo & Sagrado DQ Mascara Ano 2000 & Universo 2000
5) Dos Caras Jr., Marco Corelone, Rey Bucanero b Atlantis, Olimpico, Ultimo Guerrero

This is the Signo tribute show, and pretty well shuffled from what was originally announced. There were matches before these, but no results and they didn’t match original listings. Later in the thread, someone mentions India Sioux appeared but didn’t wrestle due to a (broken?) nose operation.

CMLL (SUN) 07/01 Arena Coliseo [ova]
1) Astro Boy & Trueno b Carrona & Zayco
2) Euforia, Nosferatu, Satanico b Felino, La Mascara, Valiente
3) Bam Bam, Shockercito, Fantasy b Mr. Aguilita, Pequeno Damian, Pequeno Halloween
4) Alex Koslov, Heavy Metal, Volador Jr. b Atlantis, Olimpico, Sangre Azteca
5) Dos Caras Jr., Marco Corelone, Rey Bucanero b Toscano, Ultimo Guerrero, Universo 2000

Dos pinned Universo clean in the main event, which does set up a title match next week. I’m far less believing of a title change than Bihari. I can’t believe Universo will actually lose this title til five minutes after it happens. (I can’t believe Universo still has the phyiscal belt either, so maybe I’m just a skeptic. Or maybe there will be panicked cleaning at the ranch this week.)

Fantasy replaced Shockercito in the minis match, which was bumped up to tercera.

Tracking the minis…
06/24 SUN Coliseo: 2) Mr. Aguilita, Pequeo Damian 666, Pequeo Halloween b Bam Bam, Pequeo Olmpico, ltimo Dragoncito
07/01 SUN Coliseo: 3) Bam Bam, Shockercito, Fantasy b Mr. Aguilita, Pequeo Damian 666, Pequeno Halloween
07/08 SUN Coliseo: 2) Ultimo Dragoncito, Pequeno Olimpico, Bam Bam vs Pequeno Halloween, Pequeno Damian 666, Mr. Aguilita

Bam Bam is the only constant on the tecnico side, though Olimpico and Dragoncito are showing up twice.

About five months late, CMLL tickets are on TicketMaster. (Assist to Wagner_Driver @ box y lucha.) Only for this Friday’s show. It looks like they’re not offering all the seats – the cheapest seats don’t appear to be listed.

AAA’s upcoming cards list Abismo Negro on a 07/28 show. Typo?

Zocalo.com.mx has a really good interview with Nicho, about his life in wrestling. He talks about WWE a bit, but also about the start of his career – Pena gave him the Psicosis name, but the gear actually came from a friend who didn’t get picked up by AAA and so couldn’t use it, and it just happened to work out beautifully.

Both Box Y Lucha 2825 and Super Luchas 219 have Chris Benoit on the cover. ByL teases Big Show in Mexico, which I would presume to be the TripleMania rumor.

Sicodelico Jr. moved onto the second round in the NWA World Heavyweight Championship tournament, beating Roughneck Ryan. He moves onto the quarterfinals to face Claudio Castignoli. Logically enough, that match will take place at a CHIKARA show on 07/21 in Wallingford, CT.

Before that match, Sicodelico Jr. will team with Incognito in a triangle match for the NWA World Tag Team Titles. The other two teams are Billy Kidman & X-Pac and Joey Ryan & Karl Anderson (who would seem to be the safe bet.)

Noticas-Oax.com.mx writes about lucha libre stars making the jump to other TV work (mentioning Mistico, Latin, Demon and Intocable.)

SLP indy wrestler El Divino suffered a bad leg fracture, and will be out around six months. BTW, here’s your daily SLP AAA article, this time about Gronda.

Another El Sol de Tampico article about the Atlantis vs Wagner vs Park show there tomorrow.

Auburn Journal talks to Shane Hanson, who claims to have been wrestling as El Gran Fangoria for 15 years. (Thanks to mikeinformer)

05/22: Perro, Puebla, Nicho

CMLL

According to an interview with NotiMex, Perro Aguayo Jr. may only miss six to nine weeks. They’re saying his suffered an injury to two ligiments and meniscus, but that’s up to an 80% reduction of the initial nine months projection. Nine weeks would put him back in the middle of July.

CMLL (MON) 05/21 Arena Puebla [hugo999 @ box y lucha]
1) Espiritu Maligna & Fuerza Tiger b King Jaguar & Zigma
2) El Legionario, the Tiger, Tigre Rojo DQ Fuerza Chicana, Furia Chicana, Karissma
3) Euforia, Loco Max, Nosferatu b Brillante, Leono, Tony Rivera
4) Atlantis, Tarzan Boy, Texano Jr. b La Mascara, Negro Casas, Volador Jr.
5) Averno, Mephisto, Ultimo Guerrero b Alex Koslov, Marco Corelone, Rey Bucanero

Not sure if this especially meaningful, but Nicho seems to be picking up bookings Mr. Aguila would have to miss due to replacing Perro on the reality show. (I’m thinking Sunday in Merida in particular.) Well, it’s meaningful to the extent that someone has his phone number, I guess.

IWRG (THU) 05/24 Arena Naucalpan
1) Bacteria & Star Boy vs Trauma I & Trauma II
2) Astro Boy, Ave Fenix, Kid Tiger vs 911, Ak47, Fierro
3) Esfinge, Felino, Solar I vs Black Terry, Cyborg, Enfermero Jr.
4) El Dandy, Marco Corelone, Volador Jr. vs Damian 666, Halloween, Mr. Aguila

IWRG (SUN) 05/27 Arena Naucalpan
1) Cella vs Comando Gama
2) Antaris & Bacteria vs Avisman & Macho II
3) Kid Tiger, Peluchin, Takeda vs Black Terry, Trauma I, Trauma II
4) Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro, Suicida vs Kai, Sasaki, Yamato [super libre]
5) Rayo de Jalisco vs Enfermro Jr., Esfinge, Enterrador, AK47, Mascara Ano 2000 Jr., Solar I, Veneno, Cyborg, Ave Fenix [cage, hair, mask]

Awful suspicious that we’ve got a cage of death match and one of the new (?) policeman happens to be in it.

CMLL (SUN) 05/27 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Casanova vs Fraile de La Muerte
2) Idolo & Nube Roja vs Egipcio & GUero Loco
3) Leon Blanco & Rayman vs Fabian el Gitano & Flash and Arkangel & Nitro and Cien Caras Jr. & Hijo de Cien Caras
4) Dr. Wagner Jr., Hijo de Lizmark, Shocker vs Okumura, Pierroth, Terrible

We’ll go over the AAA TV lineup for 05/26 a little bit later – I didn’t see it till now, in case you wondering why I was the last to figure the evil clown names.

They worked an angle off Nicho’s firing. Konnan came oout early in the show, and protested Nicho being fired, seeing as he was an indy wrestler allied with the Legion, not an AAA one, so how could AAA fire him? Konnan vowed to cause chaos until he got a face to face in ring discussion with an AAA offical. Before the semimain, Konnan got that discussion – with Cibernetico, who decided he was good enough. Cibernetico claimed Nicho was irresponsible and a coward, so he ran. On the other hand, Cibernetico was happy Konnan didn’t run, because that would mean Cibernetico could end him for good. Unlike all the foreign guys who Konnan has brought into to end Cibernetico, Cibernetico was going to get the job done on Konnan.

Main event had interference, but the Hell Brothers ended up winning. Zorro won the semimain with a foul on Fuerza (I think), and then Fuerza and Octagon brawled. Ozz pinned Laredo Kid in the atomico, and Laredo had to be stretchered out.

The mystery team in the segunda was – uh, no one. Exciting! Gran Apache beat Oriental, so we might have a mixed tag title defense coming up. After the minis won the opener, Kenzo and Mesias beat them up to set up Konnan’s first bit.

Next:
– 04/15 @ Boca del Rio Veracruz; I’m guessing we don’t get a lineup this week
– 04/20 @ Xalapa
04/27 @ Hidalgo

Bonus:

For the first time I can recall, AAA also posted detailed house show previews on their webpage – they’ve been nondescript listings previously. They don’t actually say much, but…

AAA (FRI) 04/06 Arena Azteca Budokan Lineup
1) Canibal & Kaori vs Takamura & Takuya Lee
2) Kumo & Maxima vs Galactico & Skyderman
3) Mascarita Sagrada & Octagoncito vs Mini Apache & Mini Cibernetico
4) Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Oriental vs Escoria, Ozz, Scoria
5) Chessman & Cibernetico vs La Parka Jr. & Super Porky

Funny thing is, they’ve already posted the 04/13 lineup here. There’s not much related between the two, except Maxima and Skyderman are apparently feuding.

The other lineup is the 04/03 Feria Internacional del Caballo one. The preview talks about AAA running this building for 20 years, which…no. There’s a math issue there.

03/25 AAA TV Results

previous: 03/10, 03/18 (Rey de Reyes), 03/19

AAA TV (SUN) 03/25 Plaza de Toros de Tula, Hidalago [triplea.com]
1) Gallego & Mr. Cóndor b Chiva Rayada I & Chiva Rayada II
2) Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Psicosis b Alan, Billy Boy, Decnnis
3) Cinthia Moreno, Faby Apache, Miss Janeth, Rossy Moreno, Sexi Star, Tiffany b Estrellita, Joseline, La Chola, La Diabolica, La Hechicera, Lady Rabbit, Lola Gonazlez, Martha Villalobos, Mujer Demente, Vicki Carranza [Reina de Reinas, semifinal]
4) Alan Stone, Hator, Scorpio Jr., Zumbido b Alberije, Intocable, Oriental, Zorro
5) Tiffany b Cinthia Moreno and Fabi Apache and Miss Janeth and Rossy Moreno and Sexi Star [Reina de Reinas, final]
6) Kenzo Suzuki b Cibernetico and La Parka Jr. [bull terrier]

Airs
Mexico: 04/08
US: 04/24
(I think I’ve got these right now. Links are to full TV listings.)

Looks like Nicho is indeed done with the company (for now). No mention of him was made in the results. Kenzo replaced him in the main event. Cibernetico and La Parka tried to get along, but it all fell apart again. Pres Roldan may have suspended both of them for a month. That’s kinda rough.

The Guapos now have their own mascot, Guapito. I wonder if it’s a red monkey. (No pictures yet.) Scorpio Jr. and Guapito wasted no time in starting a feud with Alebrije and Cuije.

The Reina de Reinas final was six women this year, probably so they could get all three Brujas in against three other people. Not three pople who got along – Sexi Star and Faby are still feuding. Faby beat Sexi, Cinthia defeated Rossy, Janeth beat Cinthia, Fabi beat Janeth, and Tiffany beat Fabi, with some help from Sexi Star. Tiffany’s now a four time Reina de Reinas winner.

Billy Boy was not in the mood for fighting, which is kinda bad when you have a match. This caused the loss, and also seemed to cause the break up of the Barrio Boys, though it may not be officially over yet.

Next Taping: 04/01

03/26: Coliseo, Queretaro, Monterrey

CMLL

CMLL (SUN) 03/25 Arena Coliseo [ovaciones, CMLL]
1) Bracito de Oro & Shockercito b Fire & Sombrita
2) Luna Magica, Marcela, Princesa Blanca b Medussa, Mima Shimoda, Rosa Negra
3) Jeque, Ohara, Shigeo Okumura b Metro, Stuka Jr., Tony Rivera
4) Damián 666, Halloween, Mr. Águila b Leono, Máscara Sagrada, Mictlan
5) Dos Caras Jr., Marco Corelone, Místico DQ el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Héctor Garza, Terrible

Perro fouled Mistico to lose the main event, and then pulled his mask. There’s a photo of unmasked Mistico, but it’s so small, I’m not sure if they blurred his face. Looks like they didn’t, if I had to guess. Pretty strange either way.

Jeque fouled Stuka Jr., so that indeed is the random feud. Women’s match was a three falls match, which CMLL’s recap says is the first for the women since they’ve been brought back. Not sure I would’ve picked that crew to be first, but whatever.

indy (FRI) 03/16 Arena Queretaro [Knotty @ el martiente]
1) Aviador b Estrella Dorada
2) Dragon de Oriente I & Dragon de Oriente II b Atomico & Espiritu Negro
3) Toro & Ursus b Corsario & Flecha
4) Black Terry, El Hijo del Diablo, Shu el Guerrero b Batman, Hombre Arana, Robin
5) Electro Shock & Mil Mascaras b El Hijo del Solitario & Negro Navarro

They had a moment for Black Shadow before the semimain. When everyone was walking to the back, Hijo del Diablo got into an argument with Brazo de Oro and Brazo de Platino, who were just here hanging out (I guess.) After the semimain, the Brazos came back up and teased a future match.

CMLL (TUE) 03/20 Arena Queretaro [Knotty @ el martiente]
1) Alasthor b Sindrome
2) Felino & Principe Valiente b Nitro & Sangre Azteca
2) Espiritu Negro & Skandalo b Lince I & Lince II
3) Hiroka & Mima Shimoda b Luna Magica & Sahori
3) Damián 666, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Halloween b Alex Koslov, Rey Bucanero, Volador Jr.

Next show is 04/10 with Rayo Jr.

indy (TUE) 03/27 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [RFC]
1) Rey Morgan vs Jimmy Navarro
2) Angel Negro vs Erin Snake
3) Ultraman Jr. vs Ejecutor
4) Konnan King vs Huracan Ramriez Jr.
5) Pancho Tequila vs Super Konan
6) Nygma vs Silver Cat

VATOS LOCOS COLLIDE! This will draw 12 people.

Luchas 2000 #361 has CMLL’s side of the Santo split.

This is the “has Nicho left AAA already?” thread on Box Y Lucha. The story is he had a public argument with Roldan, and noshowed the last two TV tapings because he bookings elsewhere. I think we’d be able to tell, if AAA would actually share results of their shows.

CMLL photographer Rosalio Vera Franco is exhibting her photography on Thursday at Club Fotografico de Mexico.

Today in Quito, Ecuador, there will be a lucha show with Ricky Banderas, Savio Vega, Orlando Jordan and Rikishi. It’s being promoted by WWE Spanish commentator Hugo Savinovich.

03/03 AAA TV Results

Updated on 03/07

These may be updated later in the week, after TripleA posts their version and I get corrections.

previous: 02/09, 02/16, 02/23

AAA TV (SAT) 03/03 Plaza de Toros La Concordia [El Volador @ Satanico’s Mansion]
1) Estudiante, La Maravilla, Ray Richard b ?, ??, Rey Cobra
2) Fabi Apache, Gran Apache, Mini Charly Manson b Billy Boy, Mascarita Divina, Sexy Star
3) Alan Stone & Zumbido DRAW Pegasso & Super Fly [AAA TAG, torneo]
4) Alan & Decnnis b Escoria & Espíritu [AAA Tag, torneo]
5) Fuerza Guerrera, Pirata Morgan, Sangre Chicana b Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Juventud Guerrera
6) Alberije, La Parka Jr., Laredo Kid, Latin Lover b Abismo Negro, Antifaz del Norte, Histeria, Mr. Niebla
7) Black Magic, Head Hunter I, Nicho b Charly Manson, Chessman, Cibernetico

Air Date (projected)
Mexico: 03/11
US: 03/31

Black Magic is Norman Smiley, back in Mexico for the first time in a while. If I remember the story right, the last time he wrestled in CMLL, Ovaciones ripped his performance apart, so I hope he was better here. Nicho and Konnan (in a wheel chair) both interfered in the main event, Konnan cracking a bottle over Cibernetico’s head near the start. Manson got put thru a table to set up the win. After the match, Prez Roldan threatened to suspend Nicho and deport Konnan, Cibernetico argued against it, and Kenzo Suzuki debuted, killing the Hell Brothers.

Nothing else much big on the rest of the show. There was more Apache drama in the non-local opener, and I believe Fabi and Billy refused to fight each other. I know Robert posted differently in a comment, but I read the results as Zumbido pinning Super Fly to win that tag match. I may be wrong.

UPDATED STANDINGS (chart)
P M
12 4 Crazy Boy & Joe Lider
12 4 Cuervo & Ozz
10 5 Alan Stone & Zumbido
10 5 Super Fly & Rey Cometa/Pegasso
6 5 Alan & Decnis
6 5 Espiritu & Scoria
3 2 Antifaz & Histeria
3 3 Alebrije & El Brazo
3 3 Charly Manson & Pirata Morgan
3 3 Chris Stone & Hator
3 3 Mascara Divina & Oriental
3 3 El Angel, Laredo Kid
3 3 Alliens, Gran Apache
3 3 Juventud Guerrera & Psicosis II
3 4 May Flowers, Pimpinela Escarlata
0 1 El Elegido & Intocable

No further tournament tag matches are scheduled, so is it a three way final? Do Stone and Zumbido get left out because they’ve had more matches? Dunno. If it was a draw, that’d eliminate both the Guapo and the Air Force team.

Next: 03/10, 03/18 (Rey de Reyes)
