AYM Sports actually lists the IWRG show for Sunday!. Well, a “lucha libre” show, and starting at 6:30 pm CT, a half hour earlier than listed. And it’s not on the US listings at all. We’ll find out on Sunday.

If it’s accurate, that means there will be two live shows from the great Mexico City area going head to head. All fifty us who could watch either will be mightly conflicted.

In more random news, the Galavision repeat is back on Saturday/Sunday overnight.

=== CMLL ===

Galavision/Televisa: Rush/Terrible as we know, and probably not much else. Leaves time for more commericals!

FOX: Puma King/Rey Cometa and probably Mistico/Devitt/Atlantis vs Ultimo Guerrero/Dragon Rojo/Negro Casas

52MX: The tag title match, and more Devitt/Dragon Rojo

C3: Mephisto/Ephesto/Misterioso vs Tiger/Atlantis/Mistico.

GDL: the Olimpico vs Diamante match you’ve been asked for. (And if you have, please reveal yourself.)

EstrellaTV (Puebla): who knows

Terra: Azul/Marco/Devitt vs Bucanero/Terrible/Volador main evnets.

=== Other ===

AAA: onto the expo! Electroshock & Vampiro face Chessman & Ultimo Gladiador, and Cibernetico & Dr. Wagner Jr. take on Perro Aguayo Jr. & Halloween. Regional matches include the TV debut of Samurai del Sol, Dinastia, and a Consejo vs Psycho Circus trios title match

IWRG-TVC Deportes: the show going on right now, with the Navarros on opposite sides of a relevos increibles match.

IWRG-AYM Sports: the show going on Sunday, with a relevos suicidas. That’s not a bad debut show.

ACM: maybe last week’s taping, featuring Antifaz, Hator, and Super Parka vs Neurosis, Humberto Garza and Zorro

This time for sure: AAA announced their show would move to Saturday at 4pm, following CMLL. This is what Televisa listed for a time last week before changing the schedule (maybe because TripleMania was still going?) and probably is the status quo until January.

Also, as noted earlier in the week, EstrellaTV is picking up CMLL Puebla broadcasts. That show was not in TVC Deportes listing for last Monday (though I could I swear I saw people mentioning it on Twitter; maybe they were watching a Fox Sports rerun?) and is not on the schedule for this week, so it looks like the rights have just been pulled from TVC Deportes. In an ideal world, this means TVC Deportes starts broadcasting something more!

=== CMLL ===

Galavision/Televisa: Tanahashi has been a regular here, so his Japan vs Mexico cibernetico should air on this show. Lightning match should fill the rest of the time.

FOX: The trios title set up last week goes here, and the women’s match may actually make this show for once. (That doesn’t sound right, maybe things are switched around.) Maybe more interesting to watch for is any definitive message of where (or if!) the Anniversary show matches will air next week.

52MX: Arena Coliseo tag team title match, and set up to next week’s tag title match.

C3: just random trios theater! Euforia, Felino, Voaldor vs Delta, Diamante Azul, La Mascara in the main event.

GDL: Atlantis & Super Porky vs Taichi & Ultimo Guerrero in a match someone demanded to see.

EstrellaTV (Puebla): Diamante Azul vs Terrible for the title, Mistico with a little more success.

Terra: Atlantis & Azul vs Felino & Niebla for the tag titles and Marco, Maximo, Devitt vs Rojo, Escorpion, Taichi

=== Other ===

AAA: in a dramatic shift from last week, Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. Also, the Perros split goes down, and we find out if they have room for three matches. Three good matches are regional only.

IWRG: the show going on right now, with AK-47 vs Bombero Infernal

ACM: rerun week?

The NFL regular season starts this week, which means it’s time for Televisa to monkey with the schedule. AAA is now on Saturday, directly following CMLL, and cut down to an hour. That should still give them enough time to air the rest of TripleMania, but they’ll either have to start doing more edits or just cut down to only two matches per national show a week. At least the syndicated show is already around this year.

(This would be a good time to continue to put shows on the internet, for the 75K of us who watch them.)

=== CMLL ===

Galavision/Televisa: Terrible/Tanahashi is a given, and I believe the Puma/Cometa trios should continue to air here.

FOX: Note NFL seems to push the Sunday rerun of this show back to midnight This show gets the trios tournament and the minis match.

52MX: Angel de Oro vs Negro Casas for the title in a great match, the lightning match, and probably the trios build up to Namajague/Okumura vs Stuka/Fuego.

C3: Titan vs Polvora for the title. Invasors vs Maya Delta Cometa. Also, that Mistico guy.

GDL: Terrible vs Shocker! Probably a different feeling match than the other Terrible match.

Puebla: Tanahashi vs Rush. Doesn’t seem like a big problem if it doesn’t air, it’ll turn up next year in Japan.

Terra: Fuego & Stuka vs Namajague & Okumura! I may be able to break away from the NFL to see this live.

=== Other ===

AAA: Wagner vs Mascara. Consejo/Octagon vs Psycho Circus/La Parka.

ACM: COLISEOMANIA

IWRG: the ruleta de la muerte going on right now.

Galavision/Televisa: Part 2 of CMLL Universal Tournament. If you like Tanahashi 3 minutes matches, this may be the show for you. Also, probably Mephisto/Dorada because there aren’t enough singles matches.

FOX: which would put the Terrible/Rush trios here, intersting. I am not at all sure how this will turn out for the Anniversary show. I tend to believe CMLL made a deal to put better matches on the Televisa show in exchange for getting a few more minutes per hour. That’s the way it’s played out, so far, so Terrible/Rush has to be airing there and then it’s a toss up if they want Mistico or Puma/Cometa. I hope they want Mistico. (Also, a women’s trios.)

52MX: build to Negro Casas vs Angel de Oro.

C3: build to Polvora vs Titan.

GDL: Maybe the Smaker/Babaro match, though they’ve skipped over the entire title match. Maybe ciberneticos just didn’t fit timewise? Main is Atlantis/Shocker vs Terrible/UG.

Terra: Angel de Oro vs Negro Casas, the actual match. Also, maybe set up for a Stuka/Fuego vs Namajague/Okumura match next week?

=== Other ===

AAA: After being a bit of a clown show the last couple weekends, AAA should be back on track with part II of TripleMania on both TV and the internet. Their Twitter/Facebook posts have both suggested as such but haven’t outright said it (as is theri way.) No word what the Pintrest site says.

ACM: reruns? I didn’t see a lineup for this past weekend. Hype for COLISEOMANIA perhaps.

IWRG: BT Jr. posted video from last Thursday and last Sunday, which means they weren’t TV tapings, so maybe they’re back to the preeceding Thursday (tonight’s show?) I really don’t know.

I dunno. AAA has a TV show on Saturday and one on Sunday. They haven’t said wait they’re doing with the time slot, which is odd but usual. The only logical outcome I can figure is AAA and Televsia agreed on something and TripleMania part 1 is airing on Saturday as a makeup, then TripleMania part II will air on Sunday as scheduled and everything will be back as planned after that. We just might not know until Saturday.

=== CMLL ===

Galavision/Televisa: Universal Tournament will take over this show for the next few weeks

FOX: This show continues Volador/Niebla and Cometa/Puma, probably with time for the other trios in between.

C3: more Polvora vs Titan, more Puma/Cometa, more Delta & Guerrero Maya vs Namajague & Okumura in a non-feud. It does feel like these shows are concentrating on a narrower section of people, though I don’t know to what end.

52MX: set up to Angel de Oro/Negro Casas, Double Diamante & Valiente vs Invasors, and Misterioso vs Maya.

GDL: Cibernetico didn’t air last week, so maybe the segunda again. Did Psicosis finally win a singles match? (Nah.)

Puebla: lost track here, but surely Volador vs Niebla.

Terra: set up to Angel de Oro/Negro Casas, plus even more Cometa/Puma.

=== Other ===

AAA: Consejo/Psychos atomicos, the cage match, and the apuesta match between the loser.

ACM: rerun week?

IWRG: lost track here (know the show is up but haven’t had a chance to even link to it.) I assume they’re airing Sundays but you know better than me.

Olympics are over, but there’s some other stuff worth pointing out.

As mentioned in today’s update, AAA will be streaming TripleMania on it’s website. It’s scheduled to be shown on AAA’s website Sunday at 4pm Central. It’ll also be commercial free, according to AAA’s social media manager. They haven’t specified exactly how they’re doing it, but it’s probably a streaming bit. AAA had a streaming video player years and multiple redesigns, and I’d assume it’s something like that again.

AAA is reportedly breaking TripleMania up into three parts. Every air date past TripleMania is now a week later. They’ll be set all the way thru 09/23 after this weekend’s Expo (which means nearly all the way thru to a late September/early October Heroes Inmortales, if they’re doing one.) TripleMania basically had a triple main event, so doing one week with Mesias/Perro, one week with Wagner/Mascara and one week with TNA/AAA works, and everything else can be fit in as it fits on time. The regional show will likely have to fill some time, maybe we should start asking for specific matches from the vault.

I don’t believe I’ll be around this Sunday to check this (or Terra!) out, so let me know how it goes.

RAW is back on Mondays, which is actually great news for lucha; once NFL season starts, RAW on the weekend might have spelled doom for the traditional lucha libre time slots. However, after how Televisa used the Olympics to push their Televisa Deportes Network, I wonder if there might be a chance they do the same for the NFL, and lucha ends up unaffected this year. After last year’s chaotic and often disappointing treatment by Televisa of lucha libre, it’d be great to avoid the whole problem this year. Someone would be happy with Televisa!

=== CMLL ===

Galavision/Televisa: The required women’s match and the required Mistico match.

FOX: Volador vs Peste Negra feud is over here, and probably the lightning match and the Cometa/Puma trios.

C3: Young guy night! Diamante, Sombra, Titan vs Niebla, Polvora, Ultimo Guerrero as the main event.

52MX: Sombra vs Averno, always worth a rewatch.

GDL: maybe back this week? Las Luchas did air a new episode! This should have Mistico vs Mr. Niebla, which will be a thing, and the cibernetico.

Puebla: setup trios for Mr. Niebla vs Volador, and possible some Stigma/Zavala

Terra: debut for Genesis and Guerrero Maya, Guerrero Maya vs Misterioso in a lightning match, Oro/Mascara/Sombra vs Felino/Negro/Escorpion. They should be starting a title match program on this show, but there’s no obvious one.

=== Other ===

AAA: as noted, TripleMania I, but no guessing what’ll air (until after Regional airs, and then we can all pretend to be psychic)

IWRG: Back! Only the one Sunday airing at 6pm this week. Not sure where they’ll pick up, guessing the Champions show.

ACM: Barba Roja & Pirata Morgan vs Rico Rodriguez & Antifaz del Norte, plus YouTube star el Ninja
