LA Park returns to CMLL

CMLL promised surprises for Dia Los Muertos show, but then they always promise surprise and don’t usually deliver on anything. At most, I was expecting Mistico II to announce a return date. CMLL delivered tonight: for their special horror Halloween show, they brought in one of the scariest men of all.

LA Park, with son Hijo de LA Park, made an appearance during tonight’s CMLL semimain matchLA Park made an open challenge, daring the best in CMLL to take him on. No one stepped forward immediately.

LA Park had long been on CMLL’s infamous veto list. Park and Dr. Wagner repeatedly had out of the ring brawls using weapons, a big no no in conservative CMLL, and were warned to stop. CMLL took a huge risk by booking them together once again for the 75th (2008) Anniversary show with the idea of them doing a technical match, and the two men predictably disobeyed orders by having a crazy brawl anyway. The match was banned from airing on TV, both men were fired and told they would not be brought back. CMLL does not take back those bans easily: LA Park being back in an Arena Mexico show means some major deal must have been made.

Since leaving CMLL, both Wagner and Park were and are said to be immense pains to work with. The two have been linked  were both brought in to AAA, and then both left AAA due to similar issues with management (and not listening to management.) Wagner and Park had also been part of fellow exile Hijo del Santo’s promotion most recently, including heavily teasing a mask/mask last year which never truly came close to happening. LA Park & Dr. Wagner were adrift in the independent scene this year, where there hasn’t seemed to be as many opportunities as previous years. LA Park could still get booked, but there’s almost no chance in 2014 any indy promoter would be able to put together the mask match to give LA Park the payoff he’d like. Since AAA and CMLL were unlikely to be options, it seemed liked Park just might never get that payoff and had missed his window. That window just opened a bit.

This is actually LA Park’s first time back in any ring at all. He’s been out of the ring six weeks due to peritonitis, which required removal of part of his intestines. Park appeared on Tercera Caida this week and gave the impression it would be a while longer before he’d be able to return – maybe even next year. (Then again, Park didn’t even hint at this appearance.)

Once Park is able to wrestle, there’s no shortage of new opponents for him. CMLL’s turned over their roster immensely in the last six years. Ultimo Guerrero, Rey Bucanero and Shocker are the only three guys left who Park feuded with or teamed a lot with in the last run. There’s the legend versus legend feud possible with Atlantis (or Negro Casas or Blue Panther.) LA Park is a living human being, so there’s a natural feud with Rush. LA Park is Volador’s uncle and a team would make sense. (Probably not so much Flyer.)

The big match is LA Park vs La Sombra. The two were going back and forth on Twitter earlier this year, building a match which seemed as if it would never actually happen. The most logical reason LA Park would be allowed back in CMLL is he’s agreed to lose his mask in CMLL. Sombra’s the guy to win if that’s an option. There are ways to reach and justify other people, but it’s got to be Sombra in 2015. Everyone’s been wondering for months about what CMLL could possibly due to follow the last two Anniversary shows. They didn’t have any possible match close to Ultimo Guerrero vs Atlantis in house. They now have one of those matches if they have LA Park.

There’s a lot questions here. Has CMLL actually gotten LA Park to firmly agree to lose his mask and will they be able to hold him to it? (That’s been an issue for others.) Does this mean Dr. Wagner will be brought back as well? (That would be unpopular with some.) Beyond Wagner: is this a one time lifting of CMLL’s veto or other possibilities which forever seemed off the table now possible? Is this a sign of desperation by CMLL and might that desperation lead to other shake ups? (If they’re willing to hire Park, they’re willing to do a lot of things.) Could LA Park just appear once and this never be mentioned again. (Yea, that one’s still in play.)

Santo/Wagner/Park, Consejo vs Wolves/Tomahawk, Titan/Averno, Charly Manson

indy (SUN) 06/30/2013 Arena Solidaridad [KrisZ, LuchaMania]
1) Caballo Dorado, La Coronela, Solovino b Black Hanibbal, Destructor, Mini Hator
2) Atomo, Crazy Demon, Demonio del Caribe b Dark War, Norteño, Norteño Jr.
Demon used the ropes to win.
3) Ciber Payaso & Mortifero b Ángel o Demonio & Obett and Chamaco Gurrola & Galactar
Less extreme than you’d expect (maybe because of Santo?) Payaso used the ropes to get the pin.
4) Diluvio Negro II, Orquídea Negra, Silver Star b Koko Viper, Mongol Chino, Sergio Romo Jr.
Romo fouled Silver, Diluvio fouled Mongol, ref counted that second pin.
5) Trauma I & Trauma II b Cerebro Negro & Dr. Cerebro
Best match of the night. Trauma II beat Cerebro Negro with a Canadian Destroyer.
6) LA Park b El Hijo Del SantoDr. Wagner Jr.
Complete brawl, into the crowd and mark ripping. LA Park complained about Santo getting involved in a match with Wagner & Park before the match and warned him he’d pay if didn’t back out. Santo didn’t back out, and LA Park gave him a martinete. Wagner got the pin somehow. Santo was strechered and taken to the hospital. Park powerbombed Wagner thru a table after 10 more minutes for the win. Wagner was also strechered out, though not before LA Park mimed burying him.

The latest on the Hijo del Santo injury storyline is he says he went under surgery this week and will be back in the ring in September. Pretty good turn around on neck surgery to be back in two months. Despite this, his Record column is still coming out tomorrow. For his part, LA Park blames Santo for getting involved in his fight with Dr. Wagner Jr.  Park doesn’t try to pivot the feud to Park vs Santo, which is peculiar because Santo seems to be setting that up as the replacement match. Easiest explanation is a Santo/Park/Wagner/??? four way with the fourth guy losing their mask.  CFan Deportes uses the opportunity to write about famous martinetes in lucha libre.

FLM (SUN) 06/30/2013 Auditorio Siglo XXI, Yucatan, Merida [Estrellas del RingR de Rudo]
1) Angel Vengador & Torino b Mensajero del Diablo & Rebelde Punk
Announced match had been Fly Warrior, Shadow, Tornado (DF) vs Belial, Fly Metalik, Metaleon.
2) Ángel del Misterio, Niño Hamburguesa, Psico Kid b Dragosth, Golden, Juana La Loca
Psico Kid’s team represents ICHIBAN, the other team are members of Demencia Dorada. Gargola, Nino Hamburguesa and Dave the Clown dropped from the ICHIBAN side.
3) La Magnifica & La Sádica b Demasiado & Faby Apache
Demasiado replaced Keira. Magnifica was Sadica’s surprise partner. Juana La Loca distracted Demasiado for the loss.
4) Argenis, Fenix (AAA), Yuta b Argos, Crazy Boy, Pentagón Jr.
Nino Harmburgesa will be with Crazy Boy
5) Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Silver King, Texano Jr. b Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Tomahawk T.T.
Foreigners took fall 1, Consejo fall 2. Referee Copetes fouled the other referee (who was helping the foreigners) and helped the Consejo team win.

CMLL (TUE) 07/02/2013 Arena Mexico [CMLL]
1) Molotov & Oro Jr. b Apocalipsis & Camorra
2) Hijo del Signo, Nitro, Nosferatu b Hombre Bala Jr., Soberano Jr., Súper Halcón Jr.
Nitro replaced Disturbio. Rudos took 2/3, helped by a Soberano error.
3) Hijo del Fantasma, Sagrado, Tritón b Misterioso Jr., Puma, Sangre Azteca
Tecnicos took 2/3. Phantom Attack on Misterioso.
4) Virus b Bushiroad [lightning]
Virus won in six minutes and looked dominant.
5) Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Tiger b Fuego, Rey Cometa, Stuka Jr.
TRT took 1/3, won with a Tormento Guerrero.
6) Máscara Dorada, Titán, Valiente b Averno, Pierroth, Volador Jr.
Tecnicos took 1/3. Titan beat Averno again, and Averno finally conceded to a title match.

Averno accepted the challenge over on YouTube. Titan says he’s still the real champion.

CMLL (TUE) 07/02/2013 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [@acogdl]
1) Esfinge & Smaker b Évola & Exterminador
Tecnicos took 1/3.
2) Artillero & Súper Comando b Leo & Sky Kid
DF rudos beat GDL tecnicos, taking falls 2/3.
3) Dalis la Caribeña, Goya Kong, Silueta DQ Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sugheit, Zeuxis
Tecnicas took 1/3. Blanca dropkicked the ref by mistake. Goya & Blanca challenged each other post match.
4) Shocker DQ Mr. Águila
Aguila won the first with a moonsault, Shocker pinned him in the second, and Aguila tried to sneak in a foul on Shocker but was caught for the DQ.
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush b Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero
Tecnicos took 2/3.

Princesa Blanca took Goya Kong’s mask, but is now stuck feuding with her for the rest of time. A genuine monkey’s paw situation.

CMLL has a press event Thursday at noon. It’s the usual bit of not announcing it publicly ahead of time, but bits and pieces leaked out.

  • The Infierno en el Ring cage match should be announced. We know the participants (the 10 guys in the cibernetico on Friday), and the only thing left is to say if it’ll be on 07/12 or 07/19.
  • Another major show will take place on Friday August 16, likely involving the same group of independent luchadors seen on the Arena Coliseo Anniversary show.
  • Marco Corleone teased a positive injury update which will be announced Thursday.
  • Titan vs Averno will definitely be spotlighted. Guerrero Maya plans on challenging for the Arena Coliseo tag team titles next Sunday, so maybe that’ll be officialized here. That show will probably also be an Arena Mexico one.
  • There should be updates on the En Busca de un Idolo tournament and CMLL’s recent adventures in Japan. It’s possible CMLL may mention their participation in the G1 tournament, since NJPW will be releasing the full list of participants in about 15 hours later.

There’s probably a bit more than that. It sure looks like there’s also a cage match coming in Puebla (on 07/14 or 07/21) and that’s something that should be stated here. Something spotlighting the Estetas makes sense.  Ideally, they’d go as far as announce the Anniversary show date as well.

AAA had a video interview with Electroshock last night, talking about how he got interested in lucha libre, the origin of his character and Charly Manson’s status.  One summary says Charly has still never been formerly sentenced and no one knows how long he’s in for.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

6) Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards vs Crazy Boy & Joe Lider and Hacker & Kaleth

One more DTU show, also supposed to be taped by TVC Deportes. Autolavado = car wash parking lot, but this setting looked great when they showed clips from the most recent DTU show here.

IWRG (SUN) 07/07/2013 Arena Naucalpan
1) Freelance & Galaxie vs Araña de Plata & Fulgor
2) Dinamic Black, Dr. Cerebro, Freeyser vs Apolo Estrada Jr., Oficial 911, Tomahawk
3) Astro Rey Jr. vs Imposible, Dragón Celestial [IWRG IC Light]
title is vacant, final survivors from a three way last week
4) Trauma I, Trauma II, Veneno vs Fuerza Guerrera, Máscara Año 2000 Jr., X-Fly
5) Negro Navarro vs Solar I [FMLL MASTER]
Negro is listed as champion

I’ve seen that match! It’s a good match.

indy (SUN) 07/07/2013 Arena Coliseo San Luis Potosi
1) Galactar Jr. & Vandor vs Metal & Neurosis
2) Dragon Fury, Magnifico (slp), Rey Deimante vs Gemelo I, Gemelo II, Judoka
3) Aster Boy, Meteoro (slp), Turbo Kid vs Cachorro, Kukuxklan, Mensajero
4) Divino, Faraon De La Meurte, Oro Azul vs Black Extreme, Drack Conde, Extrem Fly
5) Bogar vs Virus [CMLL SL]
Virus is champion. Fourth known defense.

For real. Could Bogar become the Super Lightweight champion of the world? He’s got more of a chance than you do (unless you’re Virus.) First known defense of this belt since last October.

CMLL (MON) 07/08/2013 Arena Puebla
1) Asturiano & Fresbee vs Blue Center & Espanto Jr.
2) Leono, Pegasso, Robin, Stigma, Tigre Rojo Jr. vs Disturbio, Espíritu Maligno, Inquisidor, Siki Ozama Jr., Skándalo
not listed as a cibernetico, but ten man tags usually are in CMLL.
3) Bushiroad, Diamante, Tritón vs Cancerbero, Raziel, Virus
4) La Máscara, Stuka Jr., Titán vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión
5) Atlantis, Diamante Azul, Shocker vs Mr. Niebla, Pierroth, Último Guerrero

They teased Skandalo & Espiritu Mailgno vs Stigma this past Monday, so probably more of that here (and no new main event program until that’s resolved.)

CMLL (TUE) 07/09/2013 Arena Mexico
1) Molotov & Sensei vs Apocalipsis & Inquisidor
2) Dalis la Caribeña, Estrellita, Luna Mágica vs La Vaquerita, Tiffany, Zeuxis
3) Máscara Dorada, Rey Cometa, Stuka Jr. vs Namajague, Rey Bucanero, Tiger
4) Averno vs Titán [MEX WELTER]
Averno is champion. First defense.
5) Atlantis, Máximo, Thunder vs Mr. Niebla, Niebla Roja, Pierroth

If you go with the theory that Titan, La Mascara and Rush won the trios titles more by happening to be around the week CMLL decided they needed to do a trios change, then maybe it has little effect on the outcome here. Or maybe Averno just wins to keep the titles spread out. Should be really good either way, and the tercera does not look bad either. Namajague’s worked as a Terrible replacement before.

CMLL (TUE) 07/09/2013 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Metatrón & Virgo vs Mr. Trueno & Rey Trueno
2) Leo, Starman, Stigma vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Ráfaga, Skándalo
3) Goya Kong vs Princesa Blanca
4) Guerrero Maya Jr., Hijo del Fantasma, Super Porky vs Olímpico, Psicosis, Sangre Azteca
5) Mistico, Shocker, Valiente vs Felino, Mephisto, Volador Jr.

A show!

IWL (TUE) 07/30/2013 Arena Aficion
1) Lolita, Medics III, Payaso Terror, Peligro vs Pasion Kristal, Pentagón Jr., Perico, Sexy Lady
2) Arkanos, Kid Jaguar, Shadow vs Centinela, Medics 1, Quimico Jr.
3) Argenis, Drago (AAA), Fenix (AAA) vs Freelance, Pantera I, Suicida
4) Infierno Kid, Ojo Diabólico Jr., Último Vampiro vs Aeroboy, Cíclope, Drastik Boy
5) Carta Brava Jr. I, Cerebro Negro, Fantasma de la Ópera vs Loco Max, Tony Rivera, Zumbido and Black Terry, Dinamic Black, Dr. Cerebro
6) Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Ángel o Demonio, León Rojo, Obett [IWL TRIOS]

Only 41 luchadors on this show, anorexic by IWL standards. IWL appears to only have one main event. Tercera could be good if given time (and everyone shows up, which is not always the case with the ex-IWRG trio.)

Rayos vs Maya/Bala, Ultimo Guerrero, Durango Kid, lineups

hanging around/CMLL

CMLL (SUN) 05/22/2011 Arena Coliseo [Cesar, CMLL]
1) Bam Bam & Pequeño HalcónPequeño Universo 2000 & Pequeño Warrior
Tecnicos took the final 2.
2) Guerrero Maya Jr., Hombre Bala Jr., Super Halcon Jr. DQ Puma King, Rayo Tapatío I, Rayo Tapatío II
Rayo Tapatios jumped Maya in the aisle and ripped up his mask. Bala’s mask was untied. Tecnicos rallied to pull out the first fall. Rudos dominated the second, tecnicos came back, a Rayo fouled Maya as Maya took that Rayo’s mask. Referee DQed the rudos. More mask match challenges. Dragon Lee continues to not exist.
3) Euforia, Hooligan, Loco MaxMolotov, Pegasso, Rey Cometa
Tecnicos won the first fall, but the rudos took the last two for teh win.
4) Black Warrior, Metal Blanco, Palacio NegroEphesto, Felino, Misterioso II
Tecnicos took the last two fall. Felino was in comedy mode.
5) Héctor Garza, Mr. Niebla, Volador Jr.La Máscara, Máximo, Super Porky
Rudos took 1/3, Volador backcracker on La Mascara in the third.

Today’s SuperLuchas (#414) reports Ultimo Guerrero has been added to the CMLL programming department in recent weeks. No word on exatly when or what he’s responsible for.

The same Tribuna Luchistica also explains why Durango Kid got dropped from CMLL: he was one of the guys responsible for setting up Mistico and others with tryouts for WWE back in October. After Diamante was found out to be one of those who tried out, he outed Durango Kid in to save himself. Diamante still got quietly suspended, but Durango Kid was fired. (Durango worked in CMLL until the end of February, so either Diamante didn’t tell right away, or they gave him a few weeks notice.) The Psi-Histeria gimmick shown recently in Luchas 2000 was meant for Durango Kid, but won’t be used in CMLL.

LA Park tells Mi Lucha Libre that he’ll retire if he loses his mask to Mesias. He better not lose! It’s actually amazing how much this mask means, given everyone knows LA Park’s real name (because he’s told us) and it’s not too hard to find a picture of him as unmasked Principe Island. It’s the principal of LA Park not being able to be LA Park anymore (though even I’d suspect he’d still find a way.)

Speaking of retiring people, Tinieblas Sr. explains that show on 05/21 is not his last match. It’s just a deal where they’re promoting any show he does in any town as the last match he will ever have in that town. He says the retirement tour of 2010 was canceled due organized crime, the retirement tour of early 2011 was canceled due to hurricanes, but this one is totally going to stick – at least 30 shows, matches in Arena Mexico and Palacio de los Deportes, the same song and dance he says every time (and then only can find a couple promoters willing to pay up.) Tinieblas says he won’t be wrestling by 2012, we’ll see.

  • Luchas 2000 #571 has the TripleMania matches, highlighting Mesias vs LA Park.
  • DJ Spectro looks back at Casandro & Rudy Reyna vs Matematico & Sasuke from Arena Neza. He has it as 1993, but I believe it was 06/17/1992.
  • Black Terry Jr. has photos from Gym Ham Lee (for what might be a Mi Lucha Libre feature?) and from the Rey Escorpion benefit show.
  • Cesar rates Forjando un Idolo as the best thing CMLL’s done in the first third of the year and complains about Peste Negra.

IWRG (THU) 05/26/2011 Arena Naucalpan

2) Black Terry, Chico Che, Hijo de Clímax vs Carta Brava Jr., Comando Negro, El Pollo Asesino
3) Dr. Cerebro vs Multifacético
4) Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Fresero Jr., Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Máscara Año 2000 Jr.

No title mentioned for the semifinal.

CMLL (FRI) 05/27/2011 Arena Mexico
1) Starman & Tigre Blanco vs Disturbio & Mortiz
2) Dark Angel, Goya Kong, Marcela vs Amapola, Estrellita, Princesa Sujei
3) Hijo del Fantasma, Sagrado, Valiente vs El Alebrije, Histeria, Olímpico
4) Blue Panther, Strong Man, Super Porky vs Héctor Garza, Mr. Niebla, Último Guerrero
5) Ángel de Oro vs Pólvora [Forjando un Idolo, final]
6) La Máscara, La Sombra, Máximo vs Averno, Terrible, Texano

That means, if patterns hold (who knows), the Forjando un Idolo would not air on the main show, after weeks of the tournament airing on this show. That is a silly way to go.

Histeria’s appearance in the tercera is his first Arena Mexico match since October 15. He’s wrestled on CMLL spots shows and very rarely in Arena Coliseo & Arena Puebla this year.

CMLL (SUN) 05/29/2011 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Titanio vs Templario
2) Drago & León Blanco vs Mr. Trueno & Rey Trueno
3) Pegasso & Rey Cometa vs Exterminador & Malefico
4) Gallo, Sagrado, Sangre Azteca vs Ephesto, Misterioso Jr., Virus
5) Ángel de Oro, Hijo del Fantasma, Máximo vs Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Volador Jr.

CMLL’s TV said the winner of Forjando un Idolo would be elevated to the top matches, and that’s Angel de Oro in the top matches two days after the final. Could just be a coincidence, hoping it’s not.

IWRG (SUN) 05/29/2011 Arena Naucalpan

4) Freelance vs Avisman
5) Octagón, Octagoncito, Veneno vs Bestia 666, Damián 666, Mini Psicosis

Semimain should be fun.

2) Aerostar, El Elegido, Laredo KidAlan Stone, Decnnis, Súper Fly
Aerostar shooting star press on Alan Stone.
3) Billy el Malo, Cibernético, EscoriaCuervo, Espíritu, Ozz
Escoria took the mystery spot. Black Family bled and lost on a powerbomb from Cibernetico on Ozz. After the match, Cibernetico pointed out he took out Parka’s troops and promised revenge for what Parka did to his motorcycle. (So that’s what Parka did at Cibernetico’s house.)
4) Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown DQ Damián 666, Halloween, X-Fly
X-Fly replaced Perro, who ran in with Bestia 666 for the DQ. Perro Jr. demanded a meeting with Dorian Roldan, angry about having to wait for an appointment.
5) El Mesías, Heavy Metal, Nicho el MillionarioChessman, Hijo del Lizmark, LA Park
Lizmark replaced Zorro, who claimed to be hurt. Once again, Park was about to beat Mesias when Zorro got involved. This time, it was Masked Zorro who ran in and caned Park. Park blamed Konnan, Konnan swore he had nothing to do with it. Sociedad is breaking apart.

2011 AAA TV Chart
Projected Air Date (#989)
Mexico: 05/15
US: 05/28

Mi Lucha Libre notes there were five bleeders on this show – Metal, Ozz, Cuervo, Espiritu, Damian – and AAA’s twitter said the Psycho Circus bled too. Also, rudos won 2 of the last 3 and are about to take the third when a rudo attacks a rudo. This was a Kid’s Day show. Eh. Mini Chessman & Laredo Kid were also mentioned as injured.

In an interview with Mi Lucha Libre, Zorro says he will be out 4-6 weeks with a leg injury. I have no idea if that’s a storyline or a legit injury, it’s getting hard to tell with Zorro. AAA’s live recap didn’t mention an injury. Zorro’s TNA deal is brought up here again – that I’m pretty sure is off (and has been since Hernandez got a different partner.)

One day after Perro said he’d definitely be wrestling on this show, Perro did not wrestle on this show. It’s almost like you can’t believe what that man says.

Next taping is 05/13 in Cuautitlan

Edit: I guess this is now fair game now that Dorian is tweeting about it, so might as well put it here: AAA is bringing in TNA guys for TripleMania. They’ll start appearing with the SLP taping. AAA’s done this in past years, and the result has been TNA (and outsiders) having decent->good matches and the fans (and especially the announcers) having no idea who these people are. Starting the involvement before TripleMania will definitely help, but if AAA’s so excited to turn unknowns into stars, maybe they need to work that magic on some guys they already have. The one guy who has definitely gotten over in the past is Jeff Jarrett, and I’d expect for him to be prominently involved. (This is also why it seems unlikely for TripleMania to have the LA Park/Zorro/Mesias match they’re building – got to get a TNA guy in there. Maybe a fourway?)

TNA is running in a Buffalo, NY minor league baseball stadium on the same night as TripleMania. Listed for that show are Hulk Hogan, AJ Styles, Abyss, Eric Young and Beer Money. Christopher Daniels may be available, but that means most of those in last year won’t be back this year. TNA airs on 52MX in Mexico; that’s pre-empted with other programming in the US.

LA Park to make his AAA in-ring return on 04/17…maybe

Besides the one taping covered below, AAA also announced they’d be taping on 04/17 in Orizaba. No lineup, but

EN ESTE EVENTO VEREMOS A L.A. PARK LUCHAR

(Hey, he’s Original La Parka! And he has a pool!)

The small problem with LA Park making his in-ring debut on this show: just two days ago, Valiente Entertainment announced he’d be working for them in Austin, Texas that night. That’s a tough double shot, 800 miles apart. The best part of the LA Park press conference I forgot to mention was Park saying, at Rey de Reyes, he had his son waiting in a getaway car to get him out of town quick. Hijo de La Park is going to need a getaway jet plane for this one.

I figured Park’s indy bookings would conflict with AAA at some point, but didn’t think it would happen on the first show he was scheduled to wrestle.

Coliseo, AAA taping schedule, LA Park

CMLL (SUN) 11/22 Arena Coliseo [CMLL]
1) Artillero & Súper Comando b Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II
2) Dark Angel, Estrella Mágica, Star Fire b Mima Shimoda, Yezca, Zeuxis
3) Pegasso, Rey Cometa, Starman DQ Dr. X, Hooligan, Loco Max
4) Máscara Dorada, Máximo, Rouge b Euforia, Pólvora, Virus
5) Blue Panther, Héctor Garza, Místico b Atlantis, Negro Casas, Último Guerrero

CMLL’s recap says “if not for the loss, it would’ve been a perfect debut for Cancerberos.” That is true, but the loss takes away pretty much all of it. CMLL!

The recap says Mr. Niebla wrestled in the main event, but Negro Casas is in all the pictures. Oh well.

Rudos got DQed for taking Starman’s mask.

AAA’s listed it’s final TV tapings for the year. It’ll work something like this:

                  MEX USA
11/20 Orizaba 11/29 12/12
??/?? ?????????? 12/06 12/19 - nothing announced
12/06 Monterrey (ACM) 12/13 12/26
12/11 Madero 12/20 01/02
                      12/27 01/09
Best of #1? 01/04 01/17
Best of #2? 01/11 01/24
12/18 Chilpancingo 01/18 01/31

(They haven’t announced the Best Ofs, but let’s assume they just do them as they normally do. The Chilpancingo date is confirmed.)

Not sure what the deal is with the one missing taping; there’s nothing for the 12/06 weekend. They tape Arena Coliseo Monterrey the same day, but not until hours after the show airs. Either they’ve got one more they’re about to announce really soon, they’re planning on airing a rerun, or they know they’ll be pre-empted this weekend or next.
