Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:23
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Referee is The Referee I Don’t Know.

1: Virus and Fuego start, and Magadan calls Fuego “El Rey de Chi Chi Chi.” That needs to catch on. They get about three minutes to go back and forth, though it never gets very deep. Pegasso and Zavala counter more, accomplish less. Zavala armdrags Pegasso around, Pegasso comes back with his own armdrag. Crowd is busy chanting at each other, as always. Big clip to start the Sangre/Sagrado bit, moving right into the headscissors and monkey flips. Sangre fights off the second one, but get chopped into the tecnico corner. Corner whip, reversed, rudo trip up Sagrado and Sangre lands Estacas Aztecas. No pin, but it’s enough to turn the match. Virus spinebuster Fuego, and Zavala slows him up with a dropkick to the face. Virus finishes.

2: Rudos double team, mostly Zavala and Virus working together and Sangre adding low blow dropkicks Sangre doe a good job of taunting Pegasso after landing his dropkick. Might be a clip with a crowd shot here, because Pegasso soon after starts the comeback on a missed double chop. Sangre takes an armdrag out, and the rudos whip Pegasso into a tope on Azteca. Fuego springboard dropkick Zavala out, Virus slaps Fuego but whips him into a run up the corner plancha onto Bobby. Virus manages to take down Sagrado, but Sagrado hits kicks him, trips Virus, starts for a casita, but instead puts on a bow and arrow. Sagrado did that all in one motion, might have been his plan.

3: Virus and Pegasso exchange chops. Evasion spots leads to reverse springboard armdrags and Virus sliding out. Zavala is on Fuego early with a series of corner clotheslines, but Fuego comes back in Fuego fashion. Back bend, dropkick, out and in corner headscissors and dive tease. Not a big crowd today. Sangre chops Sagrado, and taunts him. Sagrado shakes Sagrado’s taunting hand, and chops him back harder. Sagrado chops Sangre down. Sangre back up with kicks, but Sagrado traps him in a casadora cradle for two and half. Unknown Referee was definitely not counting three there whatever happened. Sagrado huracanrana, Sangre rolls thru, one two NO. Sagrado drop toe hold, casita, one two NO. Sagrado clothesline misses, Sagrado superkicks it, Sangre goes out. Sagrado clothesline misses, Virus clip backdrops Sagrado to cut him off. Virus runs, but Pegasso trips him up, and Fuego adds a springboard splash. One two no. Fuego inside cradle on Virus, one two NO. Fuego rolling dropkick sends Virus out. Fuego turns, but Zavala is there. Fuego springboard meets counter dropkick. Pegasso in with a plancha on Pegasso, headscissors into an inside cradle one two NO. Pegasso whip, reversed, Zavala backdrops Pegasso and dropkicks him hard. Sagrado in and superkicking Zavala into stumbling into the corner. Sagrado picks Zavala up, sets him closer to the middle of the ring, and for the end. Sagrado leaps up, but Virus takes out his leg. Zavala gets up, which Sagrado, and spinebusters him. Zavala with a modified cloverleaf, and Sagrado gives. No one reacts much like that’s the finish, but Sagrado’s the captain. Sagrado sells being knocked out by Virus’s trip.

Quick Dark Angel promo for the show and her match.

Match 2: Dark Angel vs Dalys in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 11/17/2013

Winner: Dark Angel
Match Time: 5:22 (711 on the clock)
Rating: good
Notes: Referee is Popin

Dark Angel traps Dalys in a cradle early, but Pompin won’t count at first and Dalys escapes just at about two and a half. Another near fall for Angel on a half nelson cradle, which causes Dalys to switch tactics to chopping and choking. Whip, shoulderblock, no one goes down. Angel has the momentum, running and pushing off the ropes for leaping armdrag. Dalys high kicked ducked, and Dark Angel shows off her dance moves. Another high kick, ducked again, and Angel rolls thru. Dark Angel springboard headscissors sends Daly out. Dark Angel off the ropes, tope takes out Dalys. Replay and then clip back to them in the ring. Dalys snap mare and kick to the back. Eye rake on the ropes. Chop fight, Dalys winning by pulling Dark Angel into a slow DDT for two. Dalys fujiwara armbar, Dark Angel rolls out of it, Dalys cover for two. Clip again. Dark Angel set up across the buckle so Dalys can land a running axhandle to her back. Dark Angel pulls Dalys to the apron, and Dalys lands a running knee to the chest. From the floor. Dalys up top, looking unsteady. Plancha onto Dark Angel, Dark Angel rolls thru and hold out for two. Dalys gets up and kicks Dark Angel into the corner, and follows with a double knee. Dalys grabs Dark Angel by the hair and taunts the crowd. Corner whip, reversed, and Dark Angel lands a running leaping knee. Dark Angel thrown Dalys from corner to corner by her hair to set up another running knee. Dark Angel celebrates, then uses a turnbuckle smash to set up a reverse waistlock bridging rollup for a two count. Dalys with a kick, casita – no, maybe blown, maybe Dark Angel just covers it up for a reversal for two. Clock shot to cover up another edit. Dalys blocks a double underhook and kicks Dark Angel in the midsection and the head. Double underhook suplex on her own, one two Dalys stops covering before Dark Angel sets up. That’s odd. Dalys goes for some sort of gutwrench pick up, Dark Angel escapes the back, Dalys misses a clothesline, Dalys miss a jumping knee, Dark Angel reverse springboard dropkick to knock Dalys over. Dalys tentatively throws a punch, Dark Angel turns into an armdrag into the cradle, one two three.

The rudos are interviews about the main event.

Match 3: Rey Cometa, Super Porky, Thunder vs Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.
Arena Mexico, 11/17/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos

  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 6:46
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Edgar.

1: UG and Porky do test of strength comedy spots. Niebla Roja really would rather face Rey Cometa than Thunder, and explains as much when Thunder tags in. He does get Cometa, but Volador gets him first with the surprise dropkick to the back of the head. Volador stomps down Cometa while the other rudos hold the other técnicos for lack of anything better to do. Announcers say Volador is trying to look like Wolverine with the sideburns and claws he brought to the ring.

2: Rudos bully Porky into walking out. Porky turns around, knocks everyone over, and lands the sit on everyone, so I guess the beatdown is over. Guerreros walk into a Thunder double chokeslam, which does not go well. Volador helpfully falls into place, and Cometa holds down the rudos while Thunder helps Porky climb. Middle rope splash one everyone for the tying pin. That was a nothing pin.

3: UG hurts himself knocking down Porky with a shoulderblock, and it goes even worse for him from there. Crowd loudly cheers for Volador when he’s in versus Thunder. Their sequence does not go well for Volador, but he ends up only taking a clothesline out with Volador. UG slaps down Rey Cometa, then hands him off to Niebla. Niebla promptly misses a corner charge and Cometa lands a great Brillo Cometa. Cometa’s right wrist is obviously hurting him at this point, but he’s been protecting the arm all match and it was visibly bugging him in the lead up to that move (which makes it even crazier.) Rudos quickly win the match anyway, with Volador finally getting a pinfall just off the superkick.

Match 4: La Sombra, Titán, Valiente vs Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto
Arena Mexico, 11/17/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos

  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 8:55
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra.

1: Rudos jump Sombra from behind right off the bat, at least as far as we see. Corner clotheslines for Titan. Rebound hiptoss splash by Ephesto on Valiente, and that’s enough for a pin. It takes a while for the rudo to corner Sombra, stretching out the fall, but Averno finishes him in one move.

2: Averno tosses Titan and dropkicks him in the face for a near fall. Rudos untie Titan’s mask and aunt him with near tags. Ephesto chokes Titan while the referee is keeping Valiente out, then throws him out once the referee is paying attention. Triple boot for Valiente, triple pose, and Sombra breaks up the finish with a springboard headscissors. Everyone clears everyone out, leading to Titan slingshot tope con giro on Averno. Técnicos quickly beat the rudos

3: Sombra goes on his usual one versus Averno, up until Mephisto beheads him with a clothesline. Averno yanks at Sombra’s mask while Mephisto scares the referee. Mephisto and Averno double teaming goes wrong, as it must and Sombra armdrags Averno out. Abrupt clip or camera switch to Valiente giving Mephisto a quebradora and going for his mask. Averno breaks in only to take armdrags and monkey flips. Titan headscissors Averno out, chases after him, and headscissors him on the floor. Mephisto smacks around Sombra, Sombra comes back with a kick and a sunset flip, other técnicos unset flip other rudos, everyone kicks out. Rudos clear out everyone but Valiente and hilarious is the triple headbutt drop, yet again. Técnico cradles are really just as ineffective but not nearly as humorous Mephisto and Volador are left standing, Ephesto tries to help but kicks his partner. Ephesto swings and misses and Valiente dropkicks him out. Valiente and Sombra go for Asai moonsaults, but the rudos pull them away. Averno and Titan in, evasion, Titanics, one two three! Rudos were just too slow to get back in and break it up.

Titan makes belt motions. Valiente is not sure what happened and checks to make sure Titan actually won. Announcers say the title match is next week – uh, no. Titan talks about being young but skilled and wanting a title match for the people. Announcers wrap up.
