AAA on UTDN #99 (10/03/2013)
Recapped: 10/15/2013

Previous: Minis title match set up, Faby & Drago won the mixed tag team tiles, La Secta got beat up by Secta a lot.

Announcers hype up Heroes Inmortales, then the matches today.

Texano Jr. and Psycho Clown talk face to face. Psycho is more respectful to Texano, but wants Texano to give him credit for being a complete luchador. Good luck on that.

Heroes Inmortales promo.

Recap of the feud (again!)

Match 1: Dinastía vs Mini Abismo Negro for the AAA World Minis Championship
Domo del Deportivo Plan Sexenal, Distrito Federal, 09/22/2013

Winner: Dinastía
Match Time: 13:20 (7:26+5:54)
Rating: good
Notes: Piero is referee. Psicosis is Mini Abismo's second because – I dunno. He seems very excited for the match. Drago is with Dinastía.

Mat wrestling to start, which works out not well for Dinastia. He gets running, knocks Abismo down with a shoulderblock (! - there's a sizeable difference in weight) but gets tripped up by Psicosis. Abismo takes advantage for a reverse roll up for two. Abismo holds Dinastía in place with an armbar, which is the best of all strategies for this man. Dinastía rolls to an armdrag and an armbar of his own. After a moment, Abismo is able to wristlock him, then traps Dinastía in a headscissors before Dinastía gets to the ropes. Dinastía is in trouble if he lets this stay son the mat. Circle, both reach hands, but Abismo kicks Dinastía hard in the leg. Kick tot he head. Whip, Drop toe hold, casita, one two NO. Psicosis is sure that is three, while Abismo kicks Dinastía in the ribs. Headscissors submission on the mat. Abismo just lets go to slap Dinastía in the chest instead. Off the ropes evasion, Dinastía spinning headscissors (I guess, not clear) and Abismo goes out. Dinastía hops to the apron for a something, Psicosis grabs Dinastia's leg then change his mind and backs off (oops) so Dinastía can get in his Asai moonsault. Both down, which gives Drago and Psicosis a chance to argue with each other. Dinastía middle dropkick as the come in, walking shootings tar press for two. Psicosis wants the count to be a little slower. Dinastía snap mares Mini Abismo and climbs up to the middle rope, twisting senton con giro for two. Whip, reversed, Abismo puts down Dinastía with a big boot to the face. Abismo going up now. This seems like a bad idea, but the frog splash connects. One two NO. Mini Abismo dropkick Dinastía in the face. Drop toe hold, casita again, crowd shot covering something up, and Abismo end up with a bow and arrow. It seemed like he was heading to something other than casita but not sure what happened. Abismo switches to a crab, then ties up both legs, but Dinastía won't give. Dinastía is facing the wrong way, so Mini Abismo just give sup a hold again. Corner whip, Abismo charges in, Dinastía moves out of the way very late (too late, he still gets hit), then Dinastía rope bounce armdrags Abismo into a cradle for two. Abismo misses a corner charge, Dinastía inside cradle one two NO. Random break.

Heroes Inmortales

Dinastía lands two straight springboard corner moonsaults, tries for a second one, Abismo rolls, and Dinastía sort of lands the top rope double moonsault. Dinastía quebrada caught, and drops hard with a over the shoulder gutbuster by Abismo. Abismo going up – again? - and misses the senton con giro. Abismo rolls thru but, when Dinastía is facing the wrong way, decides to play dead. Dinastía tie supt eh legs for who knows what,s and Abismo small packages him for two. Psicosis can't believe it and has a fit. That would've actually been a great finish. Abismo whips Mini Abismo because it's a bad idea, Dinastía waved by, he handwalks first then kicks Abismo into his flip off the ropes. Headscissors sends Abismo out. Dinastía goes for another Asai and Psicosis trips him up again – and this is supposed to count, because Dinastía actually falls hard this time. (That means Psicosis did this spot earlier by mistake, how embarrassing.) Psicosis drops down as to hide for some reason, even though Piero and Drago both should've saw him. Neither do anything. Abismo makes it back in, and is laying on top of the top rope, stomach first, next we see him. I guess he tripped himself, but it's not really shown. And is vastly confusing. Dinastía kicks Abismo to a sitting position, Abismo shoves him off, Dinastía kicks Abismo to crotch him back again. This is not a smooth match. Dinastía huracanrana Mini Abismo off for two. Dinastía climbs up, and Abismo pops up to over head belly to belly suplex him for two. Mini Abismo misses a dropkicks on his way out of the ring, and Dinastía does one of his twisting turning planchas onto him form inside. Dinastía goes back in, and rolls and flips around for no real reason. Piero looks out at Abismo, and misses Psicosis clocking Dinastía from behind. Piero turns around to see Psicosis stomping Dinastía, which seems to be a DQ, but perhaps I missed the mention of it being no DQ. Dinastía gets in a casadora armdrag while Andres says it should be a DQ. Drago comes in to argue and takes a backcracker from Mini Abismo, which Jesus says should be a DQ. Whatever. German suplex by Dinastía on Mini Abismo for two. Top rope moonsault (“shooting star”) one two NO. Turn taking continues with a Mini Abismo powerbombing. He does not go for a pin an passes off his turn to Dinastía, who meets him on the top rope a Spanish Fly. Bridging cover one two three.

Dinastía gets his belt, and Psicosis waits until after the commissioner has left to attack the técnicos with a chair. Very polite of him. Psicosis hits Drago in the ankle with a chair, which is not a fun way to go, then he and Abismo pose with the belt before dropping on Dinastía. AAA stays with this a long time after the match, including the técnicos recovering, because it's a three match show. Oh, replays too. Is this Red Hot Chili Peppers song on loop? Sometimes it's hard to tell with them.

Juvi again gives credit to the current Mexican Powers for their success but wants credit for starting the group. He's back.

Chessman says he's going to win Copa Antonio Pena. Eh, why not.

Aniversario Luctuoso Anontio Pena on 10/05

Next Show: 10/10 in Tlahuelilpan

Match 2: Drago, Faby Apache, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Argos, Mamba, Mary Apache
Domo del Deportivo Plan Sexenal, Distrito Federal, 09/22/2013

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 11:20
Rating: ok
Notes: Mamba has a gay pride flag and ears and a tail. Argos is dismissive. Maybe they're cat ears and a tail? I'm not sure. Drago and Faby have their title belts. Hijo de Tirantes is referee.

Pimpi tries to kiss Jesus before he escapes, and then he and Mamba swing at each other. The usual Social media graphics are shown in tiny size in the middle of the screen for who knows what reason. Drago and Argos start, and don’t go long before a headscissors sends the rudo out. Faby and Mary have a usual opening exchange. Faby tags in Pimpi, but Mary stays in at first and slaps Pimpi hard after some evasion. Mamba gets involved only to accidentally hit Mary, and things go badly for the rudos from there. Pimpi's sort of adjusted her spots to accommodate for what he can do, which is good to see. Argos accidentally superkicks Mamba and takes a kiss from Pimpi. Mamba hits everyone to take over the match for the rudos. Rudos clear the ring and Argos has to looking for people to beat up, press slamming Argos on the barricade. Faby's brought in, and starts the comeback with a boot to the face on a charge, then Argos runs into Pimpi's backside. A lot of running and hitting on outside, and they go split screen just as Drago's doing his dive on Mamba. They probably could've skipped out at showing us chops while that was going on. Tirantes and Faby have their usual argument. Faby loosely headscissors Mary out and rolls to a pose, only for Mamba to slap Faby down from behind. Drago runs in and gets clotheslined. Drago ducks another clotheslines and lands an a STO. That looks good, but a kick evasion bit does not seem like it ends with the kick actually connecting. May just have been the angle, Argos break up the pin, and does a flipping run, but he and Dragon seem unsure what the other guy is about to do. Headscissors into armdrag by Drago, then a spot that just looks a mess. Drago covers, and Mary breaks up the pin. Mary Michinoku Driver, pin broken up by Faby. Crowd most into Faby, though they have chanted for the other técnicos. Mary misses a charge, throws herself out, and takes Faby's headscissors off the apron. Pimpi missile dropkicks Mamba out, runs to the apron, and tope con giros off. Argos miss a corner charge, Drago knocks him over with a top rope tornillo, Argos gets right back up and superkicks him. Momentum means nothing. Faby in and dropped with a front cracker. Argos moonsaults, but into Faby's feet (mostly). Jesus: “Star shooting press!” Whatever. Drago rolls up Argos, they get crossed into the ropes and have to try it again, and that really could've used an edit. That's the finish, even though Argos still isn't clear at the end, then gets right up to argue.

Tecnicos won, so Psicosis is in to throw a chair in Drago's face. Rudos keep the rest of the técnicos out, and Drago's whipped into an Argos chair shot. Psicosis staples Drago in the chest a couple times. Rudos hang around the ring for a while, then leave, Pimpi chasing after them with a chair. Again, they stat with the post match much longer because it's a three match show.

Face to Face: Psycho Clown versus Texano Jr. versus an echo in the room. Texano is not impressed by Psycho Clown saying he's a two time champion (Atomicos and Trios) and and getting Damian, Halloween, Nicho and X-Fly's hair.

Match 3: Daga, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Psicosis vs Espíritu, Ozz, Scoria
Domo del Deportivo Plan Sexenal, Distrito Federal, 09/22/2013

Winner: La Secta
Match Time: 13:47
Rating: ok
Notes: Secta have candles. DARK CANDLES. No, pretty much just candles. Daga has some strange gold object. No immediate fight, amazing. Tirantes is referee. Crowd loudly behind Los Perros. Ah, now the fight is on since the announcements are over.

Secta get the better of the brawl. Lots of stomping. Daga takes a chair shot directly to the head. So does Psicosis, Espiritu hitting him as hard as possible. Perro gets his hands up at least, though I'm sure he'll be bleeding next time he gets into the ring. Psicosis – guess he's Nicho because he's taken off his mask again – gets another. Daga goes nuts on Scoria with kicks and punches, but gets stomped down and out. Psicosis is held up for a Scoria flying legdrop. Daga back in but kicked as he charges. Ozz punches him in the head. Daga's tossed into an Espiritu missile dropkick, more punches. La Secta hold Perro in the corner and break out a table and a wood panel. Secta set Daga on top, set up a table to put Daga thru it, then change their minds and move the table away so Scoria can do a top rope huracanrana. Rudos set up Perro for the same treatment, this time thru a table (how would that work?) but Psicosis pulls Ozz out, and Perro reverses it to a powerbomb of Cuervo thru the table. Perro goes nuts with punches on Cuervo while the other Perros beat up the Secta outside. Perro hits Cuervo with a chair (who gets his hands up - this is apparently the most interesting part of chair shot.) Nicho hits Scoria in the head with a chair. Odd drop into mention the Antontio Pena memorial. Daga holds a chair for Escoria to kick in Espiritu's face. Ozz takes a chair shot to the back and one to the backside. Psicosis chokes Ozz with a chair for a while. Scoria rushes Daga, Daga takes him down with a big spinebuster, and Scoria immediately grabs his right arm. Jesus is right on the injury, pointing it out to everyone, which is unlike him at any other moment in time. Daga helpfully throws Scoria right out, and he's helped to the back quickly. Psicosis suplexes into the barricade, and the other rudos toss Espiritu into the crowd. Daga tells what just happened with Scoria to Perro and Psicosis, and the Perros kill time waiting for someone to come back to the ring. Espiritu and Perro brawl evenly, Espiritu getting the advantage with a low blow. All his punches can't stop Perro from stopping selling to turn around and make faces at the crowd. Ozz is spun out wildly by a dropkick to the head. Nicho showcase sequence is lees a showcase for him and more a convoluted spot to send Psicosis back of the head first into Ozz' groin with help from a Daga sunset flip. That didn't help anyone, really. Espiritu and Perro end up in together, and both take off their shirts. That's the first time Perro's done that spot since he had stomach cancer (or whatever) – sad I know that and random that he got over that issue right here. If he's been covering up something, it's not immediately evident. Perro and Espiritu chop back and forth, Perro throws himself out of the ring at a high rate of speed, Daga headscissors out Espiritu and lands on both of them with the superman plancha. Psicosis and Ozz in , Psicosis slips on a superkick, Ozz blocks it and lands his own. Ozz goes for a powerbomb. Psicosis escapes, Ozz waistlock, Psicosis breaks free and gets shoved off into – smoke? Mist? It's quite missed live, but announcers know it's Drago who spit something at Psicosis. Even when they go back to the main camera, Drago is now hiding. Ozz Driver, one two three.

Drago atacks Psicosis with a chair, but of course La Secta attack him too. Chair shot to the head. Perro comes in and wipes out by Ozz and Espritu by himself with the chair, which is really not something they needed to do at all. This does leave Perro alone standing in the ring, and you can see a cut on his abdomen. Could be a surgical scar, could just as well be something else. Perro promises La Secta they're not done. Replays do not include a better shot of the finish.

One more Texano/Psycho Clown bit, with Texano puttings his hands on Psycho after Psycho says he's scared. And they show the Chessman promo again.
