AAA on UTDN #97 (09/19/2013)
Recapped: 10/01/13

Backstage, an emotional Mesías does not like this idea of teaming with Perro Junior. It's a joke! Cibernético is the one who thinks he can make it work, but Mesías feels they've got another problems with La Secta to worry about Perro Jr. too. Cibernético thinks they two can take out everyone should it come to it. This ends with them talking to the camera.

Match 1: Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Niño Hamburguesa vs Carta Brava Jr., Eterno, Hijo de Pirata Morgan
Arena Naucalpan, 08/30/2013

Winner: Mexican Powers
Match Time: 19:07 (15:02+4:05)
Rating: OK
Notes: Hijo de Pirata wears his many belts and mask to the ring, but takes off the mask as part of his entrance. Hijo del Tirantes is referee, looking much like his father with a black top and white suspenders. Niño Hamburguesa shoots silly string, then tosses something out of a bag to the crowd.

Eterno makes fun of Nino's fatness to start, then kicks and slaps him around. Niño dizzily falls on Eterno to take him down for a pin, and Eterno barely escapes. Crazy Boy struggles doing some complicated move with Carta Brava Jr., or maybe he meant to do a weird looking half crab. I never know. Crowd is busy chanting for lucha extrema. Carta Brava does a sort of arms crossed submission into a cradle but it doesn't look good either. Chops are won by a slow Crazy Boy superkick. He does a second, Carta Brava still won't go down, and Carta Brava gets behind him on the run for a clothesline. Carta hangs Crazy in the ropes and goes for a running backcracker, but Crazy Boy – just doesn't go with him for no apparent reason. They continue to do spots while Lider organizes furniture on the outside, which is more than distracting. Pirata steps in and dropkicks Carta, and Lider kicks out Carta so they can have their turn. Lider armdrags and hiptosses Pirata out of the ring, though not onto the table. He steps out and Eterno and in to do usual opening stuff, crowd way into Niño because of his size (and give him the benefit of the doubt on thing that don't look good.) Rudos manage to double backdrop him, and Carta adds a dropkick to the head to start the beatdown. Lider's held for a dropkick to the backside, and a Pirata top rope moonsault. Crazy Boy takes a Carta Brava dropkick to the face and a Pirata Morgan slingshot stunner. Rudos roll Crazy in the corner so Eterno can add a dropkick to the backside. Everyone stomps down Niño. Dropkick to the backside to him too. Lider's backdropped out of the ring onto one of the wood panels he set up earlier. Nino's given a chair shot to the back. Rudos take too long on corner whips, Crazy puts Lider (back in already!) on the top rope, Crazy kicks everyone away and Lider gets a jumping flatliner on Eterno. Crazy does his Oklahoma Stampede bit on Carta, and Niño gives Pirata the worst ever headscissors. Pirata just couldn't hold him up, not totally his fault. Crowd isn't as forgiving of that one. Tecnicos holds the ropes open for a Niño tope con giro thru the ropes. Lider & Crazy give Carta a two man powerbomb. Eterno breaks up the pin, hitting Lider, only Crazy is the only one who gives up the pin. Not that matters. Eterno and Carta Brava team up for a powerbomb backcracker on Lider. Crazy Boy this Carta in the head with a chair and throws it at Eterno. Neither looks happy. Crazy waits for someone, then kills time throwing the chair at Eterno again. Pirata shows up and smacks Crazy. Crazy's held over Eterno's knees for Pirata to do a Bucanero style rolling senton. Niño breaks up the pin and the rudos all clear up. Niño grabs the chair and throws it Eterno, who must be sick of that by now. Eterno leaves, but Niño brings him back for more thrown chairs and more moves. Niño flattens Eterno with a splash and Carta Brava breaks it up. Carta stops a corner charge with a kick, Lider wanders around, does the same charge charge, blocks the kick and slaps Carta Brava down. Running kick to the face too. Crowd shot. Break, 15 minutes in.

Upcoming lineups
10/02: SLP
10/10: Tlahuelilpan
10/18: Puebla – Heroes Inmortales

Everyone gets knocked in the corner so Niño can get in his senton (which really only hits Eterno in front.) They go right from that to the multiple man suplex spot, with Carta Brava being the last man and neither side setting the triple suplex. They do one on one suplexes in opposite order of when they joined, which the announcers decide are brainbusters. Eterno is last and tries to suplex Niño, but that's just not happening. Niño falls on top of Eterno for two. Crazy pulls Eterno out, and gives him a death valley driver thru a wood panel. Pirata surprises Crazy with a tope thru the corner, then trips up Lider trying for a dive. Niño and Carat are left in, Niño is too fat, Niño powerbombs Carta and goes up, crazy rushes over to help Niño balance, and Niño lands the top rope splash for the win.

Doctor checks on Carta Brava. Kids dance with Mexican Powers - and so does Juventud Guerrera, in a pink jacket Mexican Powers seem surprised to see him but don't let that stop their dance party. Announcers explain he's been busy winning in Japan. Juvi says Juvi has finally returned. Juvi screams about having formed the group and starts putting over the guys. Crowd starts booing, but Juvi tells them to start up the music. This seems completely random. Juvi sings the song, as long as all the words are “HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY”

Match 2: Angélico & Jack Evans vs Machine Rocker & Soul Rocker and Daga & Psicosis
Arena Naucalpan, 08/30/2013

Winner: Angelico & Jack Evans
Match Time: 10:06
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Rockers come in from their crowd with their torches, though they don't have it lit until they get to the ring. Crowd perks up for the Perros del Mal. Daga has some gold object. Rudos all decided they hate Angelico and Jack at the same time. Referee is Piero, who backs the rudos off for the moment.

Rockers and Perros have an argument among themselves instead. Finally they agree to let Machine Rocker start with Angelico. This is a wise decision. Long circle. We're burning daylight here. Waistlock back and forth before Angelico armdrags Machine around. Perros have switched corner because why not. Angelico headscissors and dropkick Machine out, then spins to a pose. Daga and Jack in. Lockup, Jack puts on a headlock, Daga back suplex, Jack flips out to his feet and puts the headlock back on. Out to an armbar. Daga rolls out free, puts on an armbar, around to a headlock. Daga shot off, back with a shoulderblock. Daga off the ropes, over, under, into an armdrag. Daga armdrag jack back. Zero trips and cradles, dueling dropkicks and face off. That wasn't quite as smooth as it could've been. Psicosis brings in a chair, a d Soul Rocker dropkicks it in his face immediately. HOORAY SOUL ROCKER. Chair shot to the back is not as amusing. Soul throws a chair at Psicosis, Psicosis catches and throws it back, then wheel kicks the chair into Soul Rocker. Tag to Daga, Corner whip, corner dropkick, Daga covers for two but Machine breaks it up. Chop fight, broken up by Angelico missile dropkick. Match is breaking down. Psicosis comes in to face off against him. They look around at the crowd. Angelico off the ropes, Angelico sort of rolls over Psicosis' back, and Psicosis slaps him down. Psicosis chair senton doesn't really come close to Angelico. I dunno. They redo the roll over the back spot, which goes a lot better than Angelico's sweep doesn’t come near Psicosis. Psicosis jumps over it anyway, and Angelico headkicks Psicosis out. Machine shoves Angelico out, Jack comes in with a springboard spinning head kick. Angeli and Jack both with kicks for Machine, double snap mare, Angelico kick to the chest, then suplexes Jack into a flipping splash on Machine. Daga breaks it up. Hope this isn't elimination, but it probably is. Daga throws Angelico out, Jack reverses it, Jack dropkick Daga, Daga ducks under, heel kicks Jack, then suplexes him into a frontcracker. That wasn't quite Inquisidor but it wasn't a lot crisper. Psicosis tags in with a slingshot senton on Jack, who retreats to the corner. Angelico in but missing a dropkick on the Perros. Psicosis shows off the stapler, and staples Angelico in the shoulder and the chest. The Rockers come in to observe. Angelico slide out, but the rudos thrown him back in. Everyone stomps down Angelico and celebrates. Not sure why the Rockers are friends of the Perros now. Daga and Psicosis start to do the Halloween strut, but just kind of pose. Rockers try to do a flying sit on Angelico, but mostly miss. This match is iffy. Machine charge Jack in the corner, Jack ducks, and Machine takes the knee bump out. Jack springboard moonsaults into a double back elbow on the Perros, then flips under a Soul clothesline and flip kicks him in the head. Soul flips Jack to the apron, Jack kicks him back, Angelico loads up Soul on his shoulders, Machine grabs Angelico's legs to keep him near the ropes, Jack double stops of Soul into a moonsault to the floor on Machine. That worked better than than I figured. Angelico fights Daga and Soul at the same time, which leads to a Daga armscissors. Soul breaks that up, then ducks a clothesline and gives Daga a backcracker. Psicosis climbs the ropes instead of bringing that up – Machine shoves him to the floor as Daga kicks out. Daga ducks Soul and slides him to the floor, then almost comes up painfully short on the superman plancha. Nearly landed on his head there. Machine hits Angelico and climbs up the ropes, but Angelico kicks him back and loads him up – crucifix powerbomb into the corner, Jack 630 senton, Angelico tackles Psicosis to stop him from breaking up the pin and Jack gets three.

Psicosis takes off his mask and throws it at Angelico. He and Daga scream at Angelico and Jack for some reason.

Match 3: Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Chessman, Pentagón Jr., Texano Jr.
Arena Naucalpan, 08/30/2013

Winner: Psycho Circus
Match Time: 8:26
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Pentagon Jr. rips off a kid's Psycho Clown mask and throws it down. They are remarkably unphased. Texano attacks an annoying Psycho Clown before the match to start the brawl.

Everyone beats up everyone until it's back to Psycho Clown and Texano exchanging chops. Crowd is behind Psycho Circus. Psycho wins the brawl and forces Texano into the corner. Tirantes breaks it up, then Chessman trips up Psycho from the out and the rudos take over. Pentagon uses the lasso on the outside, and the rudos hold Psycho down for belt shots. Texano knocks Psycho Clown around ringside while the rudos stomp Monster. Psycho's brought back in and avoids a corner charge and and takes out Pentagon and Chessman by himself. Crazy stomps for Pentagon. Texano cowers in the corner, with Tirantes forced in after him when Psycho goes crazy. Texano counters a quebradora and escapes behind Tirantes before Psycho can do anything. Clowns are content to bring in Chessman and beat him up instead. Chessman takes the flying splash, Mini Clown getting splashed along the way. Texano comes in and takes out the Psycho Circus thru their own mistakes. He tries to foul Psycho Clown, but Psycho blocks and fights him off. Psycho chops Texano a few times, Texano chops him a few and slams him. Texano goes up, Psycho crotches him, and pulls him off for a super cutter. Two count, Texano's foot on the bottom rope. Chessman rushes in and superkicks Psycho, then dropkicks a returning Murder Clown. Chessman goes th the ropes, turns 90 degrees, goes to another set of ropes, and Monster Clown trips him up and pulls him off. Murder follows with a silla from the apron. Pentagon in, dropping Monster with a Sling Blade. He had to work for that one. Pentagon stops to pose, then launches himself out with a tope con giro onto Murder. Murder sort of catches him and slowly falls down. Pentagon gets up, stands Chessman up, and they both chop Murder. Monster does plancha onto all three, though Murder kind of throws himself down after the fact. Texano, Psycho, and Texano's lasso are in the ring. Texano charge and swings, Psycho ducks and flapjack shim. Lasso shots to the back, but only one before Tirantes takes him away. Psycho kicks Texano and gives him a sit down powerbomb, then lets go to dover. Pentagon breaks up the pin with a double stomp before three. Psycho smacks Pentagon and goes after Texano, bu, then leads Pentagon into a dropkick on his partner. Pentagon swings and miss and Pentagon gives him the Canadian Destroyer. One two three.

Clowns celebrate. Announcers sell it like Pentagon is dead, which is like the third dead guy this show. All have turned out to be alive. Psycho calls Texano scared. Texano says he's not scared, but Psycho is not getting a shot unless he beats him.

Perros are not thrilled with the idea of teaming with Cibernético and Mesías, but blame Marisela and programming. Konnan is staying right there, dudes. Anyway, the Perros as a group will take care of things, with or without Cibernético & Mesías. Konnan's not willing to pretend the camera isn't there for a second, which is probably the better way.

Match 4: Cibernético, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, El Mesías vs Cuervo, Escoria, Ozz
Arena Naucalpan, 08/30/2013

Winner: La Secta
Match Time: 15:03
Rating: ok
Notes: Secta enter first. Mesías brings his sword, a good idea considering the teams. Perro walks by Mesías, because he's got hands to slap at ringside. Tecnicos surround the ring, and get the better of the Secta in the brawl.

The first moment for the new Secta is them getting destroyed by the super trio. Perro tries his belt to flatten a chair before throwing it on top of Escoria. Other two técnicos quickly take their brawls outside as well. Perro gets a beer from the crowd and throws it on Escoria. Mesías finds a normal chair somewhere and hits Ozz with it. Cibernético disappears off camera, but seemed to be attacking Cuervo for a time. Perro finds Cuervo and brawls with him up the stairs. Secta aren't particularly aggressive, just getting beat like usual. Perro throws in a table and Cibernético gives him a look. Mesías stomps over Cuervo in the corner, then helps Perro set up the table. Mesías sits on the top rope, técnicos load up Escoria to him, Mesías superbombs him – and the table doesn't break. It cracks, but not enough to break, and Escoria is hurting. Mesías decides they should just do it again, and so the they do – and the table doesn’t break again. Oh man. Sucks to be Escoria. Tecnicos give him a break and go after the other técnicos. Cibernético tries to powerbomb Cuervo thru the table, but throws him too far and he barely connects with the table. Still doesn't break. Técnicos lay Cuervo on the table – which is so bent in the middle that it's like a wooden hammock – then pull him off and put Ozz on it. They are set on breaking this piece of furniture. Perro looks at round that the crowd as he goes up. Double stomp breaks the table a little bit, but more just turns the table over. Please give it up. The legs are giving out before the wood. Crowd is loud of Perro. Tecnicos send the table out thankfully. Secta, fine, walk around the ring to their corner . Announcers seem to set up a break but there is not one.

Everyone goes to their corners for tags, the weirdest thing, and then the Secta all rush in and attack the técnicos. It's like they started the match over and did the beginning they meant to do. Charis are thrown. Crowd boos. Cibernético rallies bit the rudos kick him down and throw a chair at him. Perro is bleeding, somehow, and Escoria holds his head for the cameras. Mesías beats up Escoria, then throws Cuervo out, so the Secta lasted a good two minutes here. Secta demand he tag in Cibernético. Secta clotheslines Ozz repeatedly until the other guys rush in and save him. They stomp Cibernético until Perro gets his turn to clear house, and the crowd goes wild for that. Mesías and Escoria face off with chops, Escoria winning with a jumping heel kick. Escoria punches Mesías, misses a clothesline, and takes a backbreaker. Secta attack Mesías from down and stomp him again. Perro is hanging out somewhere not in his corner right now, but runs in and attacks all of the Secta again, cleaning house. It did not seem like the time for him to clean house, but whatever. Snap mare, and dropkick to Ozz's face. Secta break up the pin and all stomp Perro. Mesías and Cibernético rush in together and take out all of La Secta. Match settles down to Mesías punching Cuervo around, fighting off another charge, and clotheslining him. Cuervo fights back with punches, but runs into the powerslam. Ozz runs on top of Mesías to break up the pin, then punches Mesías in the corner. Mesías slides to a stop on the corner charge, and Ozz runs right into a punch. Mesías dumps Ozz out, and Perro and Cibernético clear the out again. La Secta group together, and the técnicos tease a triple dive, with just Mesías doing a turning tope. Perro and Cibernético bump into each other, then start throwing punches. Mesías tries to breaks it up, and La Secta attack from behind. Rudos throw out Mesías, and Espiritu – just now showing up for some reason – attacks Mesías with a chair. Piero turns to watch that, missing Cuervo foul Perro (so does the camera) and Escoria fouling Perro. Piero turns around to count three, and that's it.

Faby Apache immediately runs out to yell at La Secta, and then is all scared of him. What was your plan here? She yells at Cuervo a lot, which accuses Cuervo to kiss her. Faby slaps Cuervo twice and kicks him - but gets attacked from behind by Mary. Mary Apache powerbombs Faby and la Secta stomp her. Replays catch the foul on Cibernético but not on Perro. Hmm.
