Match 1: Molotov & Oro Jr. vs Akuma & Inquisidor
Arena Mexico, 08/02/2013

  1. rudos
  2. técnicos

  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 6:25
Rating: ok
Notes: edited and jammed in here, but they still show short entrances. Both rudos have no gear.

1: Even edited, they get to “you know Oro died in the ring, right?” in under a minute. Maybe that's just where they know to jump in. This absurdly jumps from Oro Jr. doing flexible holds to the rudos both pulling off valagueza moves over one crowd shot. Inquisidor adds on more moves because that's his thing.

2: Joined in progress. Two man powerbomb on Oro, but the técnicos start their comeback quickly after, which is a little messy but high on the team work. Oro Jr. pulls off the moonsault bodyblock on Akuma, Inquisidor gets a forced set up dropkick on Oro Jr., and Molotov powerbombs Inquisidor out of this fall.

3: Bruni shouldn't be working openers. Oro quickly slams Akuma and puts him in a hold for Inquisidor to break up. Inquisidor frontcrackers Oro Jr., Molotov breaks it up. Molotov cradle neckbreakers Inquisidor, Akuma breaks it up. Akuma starts to help Inquisidor up, then stands there until Oro Jr. knocks him down,. Inquisidor clothesline Oro and rudos knock the técnicos to opposite corner. Técnicos whipped into each other, spin each other around, Inquisidor drops Oro with a Buca Storm while Molotov cradle suplexes Akuma. Both stay down for three, so it's down to 1 on 1.

Both wait, which seems weird in this match. Inquisidor grabs on crucifix cradle for two. Molotov is flipped to the apron, but comes back in with a sunset flip. Inquisidor rolls thru, into his own cradle, Molotov re-reversed, neither can three. Molotov ducks a chop (on the second try), step over legdrop, inverted backslide cradle (let's say) and it looks like both guys are down, but apparently Molotov gets his shoulder up and Inquisidor does not. That's it.

Announcer open with JCC, JCR and Dragon Rojo.

Match 2: Dark Angel ©, Estrellita, Goya Kong vs Amapola ©, La Comandante, La Seductora
Arena Mexico, 08/02/2013

  1. técnicas

  2. rudas
  3. técnicas

Winner: técnicas (2-1)
Match Time: 14:11
Rating: ok
Notes: No entrances, but in-ring introductions. Referee is Edgar.

1: Amapola & Dark Angel start off, which means there's no real need for the rest of the match. Dark Angel pulls off a set of near headscissors, and Amapola slides out to safety. Seductora is stuck fighting Goya, much to her unhappiness. Seductora tries jumping on Goya's back and falling off, but that ends as painfully as always. Goya's new invention of the match is a heel kick to end Seductora flying halfway across the ring. Estrellita gets bullied by Comandante and help from her teammates. Tecnicas work together to take out the rudas and beat them all at once.

2: Dark Angel's fancy moves do not look as good with Seductora. This is not a surprise. They still look fine, and she misses a plancha in a greatly spectacular fashion. Amapola turns it around on Estrellita, landing her running sit and celebrating. I'm not quite sure how Estrellita is staying in her top this week; there's not much of a top there, which the announcers are distracted by when Estrellita falls out of the ring and things move around. Seductora gives Dark Angel a Pólvora Driver, but lets her go. Her silla spot goes better. Rudas are in no hurry to end the fall and go thru the técnicas a few times. And after I say that, a Comandante splash finishes that.

3: Rudas remain in control with Seductora spending a lot of time in. Double spot by Amapola and Seductora is prevented by the tecnicas. The comeback seems a little off, with Dark Angle having to run around the ring to track down Amapola. Estrellita tries a dive off the top rope into arm armdrag on Comandante, and appears to be on the mat before she grabs the ruda. Goya finishes Amapola and the match is suddenly over. Dark Angel puts Seductora in her reinera much late.

Match 3: Atlantis, Diamante Azul, Shocker ©  vs Gran Guerrero, Terrible, Último Guerrero
Arena Mexico, 08/02/2013

  1. rudos
  2. técnicos

  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:03
Rating: ok
Notes: Guerreros and Atlantis fight in the aisle. Terrible takes his time joining the fight, but they don't really need him. Comandante is with him. Referee is Babe Richard.

1: Brawling around ringside, with the rudos laying out the técnicos and celebrating in the ring. Flying sit on Azul. Senton de la muerte on Atlantis. Terrible splash on Shocker, and that's it for him. And the fall, since Shocker is somehow captain.

2: Guerreros double team the rudos. Atlantis goes after UG, but the rudos pull him off and UG kicks him in the face. UG takes Atlantis out and throws him into the barricade. Azul tries fighting Terrible and UG, finds limited success. Shocker avoids a corner charge to start the comeback, Azul double two rudos, UG dropkick him, and Atlantis knocks UG down. Atlantis and Babe Richard argue about pulling the mask, but Atlantis still manages to dropkick UG out and tope him. Gran Guerrero takes Azul's German suplex, Terrible gets the safer finish.

3: Video comes back seconds before the sound does, which is weird. UG chases after UG, Terrible won't let him in, and Terrible eventually has to the slap the old man down. Atlantis comes back with armdrags and planchas. Terrible throws himself out on a missed charge. UG sneaks in and kicks Atlantis down, only for Azul to run over him. UG runs into the giant armdrag and monkey flips. Azul climbs up the ropes for a moonsault (?!?!) just so UG can trip him and give him the Guerreros Special.

UG turns and walks right into the Atlantida.

Terrible's the captain, so this goes on. Terrible kicks out Atlantis, but Shocker spinebuster him. Shocker drops down on a corner charge, Terrible throws himself out, and Shocker pulls off his new-ish double jump plancha. Atlantis quebradoras Gran Guerrero twice, Gran Guerrero rolls out, and UG rolls in. Babe Richard is talking to Azul and doesn't realize it, then turns around to see Atlantis giving up to Ultimo Guerrero. Babe Richard calls for the DQ without realizing the switch.

Atlantis argues, gets nowhere.
