Cibernético vs Perro video package. Parka doesn't like Parka Negra. They use the footage of Parka Negra at the press conference, which didn't otherwise make sense.

Announcers preview the show, wander in to comparing Jack & Angelico to Eddie Guerrero & Art Barr (a group we're told Konnan led.)

Upcoming lineups

08/16: Queretaro
08/30: Naucalpan

And another plug for Naucalpan after coming from break.

Faby and Drago talk about their title match while Cuervo hides off in the background. They are excited about teaming up, which doesn't seem to leave Cuervo in a good mood.

Match 1: Halloween & Mary Apache vs Drago & Faby Apache for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship
Arena Xalapa, 07/19/2013

Winner: Drago & Fabi Apache
Match Time: 10:49
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Referee is Tirantes. Halloween doesn't seem to have changed clothes form last week, how odd. Halloween and Mary Apache's entrance is totally edited out, which is not at all suspicious. Halloween still handles introductions and rambles a bit. Halloween makes Tirantes introduce him and Tirantes is not any good at it. More editing, though the belt pose is left in.

Rudos immediately walk out. Halloween will never change. Mary and Drago start on the mat, Drago just a little bit faster and trapped Mary in an inverted figure four. She gets the ropes, then gets up and armdrags Drago around. Crowd is into the match. Drago fights back and tosses Mary around. They tag out. Halloween in, but his offer of a handshake is met with a kick. Halloween takes down Faby, Faby Faby tries to get an armscissors, Halloween escapes, but neither can get a long advantage before a standoff. Halloween kicks Faby into the ropes, Faby back with a sunset flip attempt that barely holds onto Halloween (too far), Halloween fights it, Drago runs in and huracanrana it, Mary breaks that up, Faby tries a huracanrana on her, and Halloween breaks that up with a dropkick to the face. Tecnicos whipped into each other, and just run into each other. Mary knocks Faby down, Drago punches Halloween back, but gets tripped on top of Faby, and the rudos tie them together for a crossface/crab double submission. Faby somehow manages to move all four people a few steps to the ropes. Halloween off the ropes, Drago – not sure if it was meant to be a flapjack or a backdrop, Drago ends up just driving Halloween on his face. Mary set up next to him, Drago with a double inverted chinlock, and Faby dropkick both rudas in the face. Halloween out, but Mary manages to clothesline both técnicos herself. Drago rolls out, Mary misses a clothesline on her partner, and Faby headscissors Mary out. Faby follows tot he floor, gets tossed to the apron, and jumps back with a headscissors to the floor. Timing was bad on that one, this has not been their usual level of match. Drago slides Halloween out on his chest the other way, and Halloween gets up just in time to take the Drago tornillo dive (though Drago still mostly skies thru him.) Rudos double team Faby in the corner then go after Drago, but it's all just a set up to another quick comeback. Rudos both run into Faby kicks to the face, and Drago planchas them both. Drago boost dropkick only hits Mary (oddly) and Halloween surprises Faby with a spear. Drago misses a clothesline and runs into a Halloween/Mary 3D! Not the best cutter by Mary but still amusing. Rudos cover, can only get two. Fans unhappy with Tirantes' speed. Corner whip again, Drago puts Faby on the top re and and it's his turn to kick the rudos in the face. Drago lifts Fabi into a double DDT on the rudos.. Técnicos cover, Tirantes takes plenty of time to count,t hen does it much slower – one two NO. Drago sweeps Mary , who just gets back up for the next post. Drago sunset flip, Mary rolls thru and kicks Drago in the face, slipping as she does it. Mary kicks Drago out, then follows with a tope con giro, but jumps too soon or Drago is too far away, because Mary seems to hit her head on the floor on landing. Faby in, but laid out by a Halloween superkick. Halloween runs for a dive, but falls thru the ropes on the other side for no reason. Halloween stumbles around the corner, right into Faby's silla. Faby celebrates, then throws her sister back in. Clothesline misses, Mary kicks Faby in the face, charges – and Tirantes trips up Faby. Mary kicks Faby in the face, one two NO. Mary complains the fast count wasn't fast enough. Faby breaks free, off the ropes, huracanrana, Tirantes takes his time getting in position one and Tirantes breaks it up. This match is not good enough for me to be angry about Tirantes being annoying. Drago grabs Tirantes and teases violence, Halloween charges and almost spears Tirantes, Drago spits mist and Tirantes takes it. Faby dropkicks Mary out and headscissors Tirantes for no particular reason, then planchas both on the floor. Drago gets his springboard armdrag into a modified crucifix cradle, Piero runs in and count a quick three.

New champions get their belts. Tirantes gets a microphone to complain about Piero – this is not allowed in the constitution, and he's going to talk to his friend in the Xalapa commission. Halloween apologizes to Mary for losing the match. Mary says she doesn't want no scrubs, slaps Halloween in the face, and leaves. See you again sometime, Halloween.

Blurb: Faby & Mary had a bad night! Their parts were not up to their usual standards for whatever reason. Almost more amazing than disappointing because that's so rare from them. Match was still okay, but it looked on paper like it might have a chance to be better than that. The match randomly switching back and forth on control – just a collection of spots, not much more – didn't help. Halloween was fine in his farewell, better than his promo prior.

Cuervo semi-sarcastically congratulates Drago & Faby. Faby starts to explain to Cuervo why she's teaming with Drago – wait, you're just now telling your boyfriend? - but Cuervo waves them off to go out for his own match.

Recap: Daga vs Ozz.

Match 2: Cuervo, Espíritu, Ozz vs Daga, Eita, Psicosis
Arena Xalapa, 07/19/2013

Winner: La Secta
Match Time: 16:16
Rating: ok/good
Notes: La Secta music is still playing when the Perros enter – or it's being oddly edited in post match. Eita is explained as a guy from Dragon Gate and part of the Perros del Mal expanding to another country. Piero is referee. They do a good job of talking him up in commentary.

Perros immediately walk out (in memory of Halloween!) Secta yell at them from the ring. Perros come back. Espiritu and Eita strut off, with Espiritu yelling to the crowd. Chain wrestling to start in front of a very full looking building. Espiritu wins the first exchange, Eita gets Espiritu in a leg lock in the second, and the other for guys make motions at each other. Espiritu escapes to a tirabuzón, and Psicosis breaks that up with a superkick. Ozz runs in, and Psicosis takes care of him with a front sweep faceslam. Cuervo in, but Eita lifts him up in an inverted Gori Special, then flings him forward for a faceslam. Daga, who is also here, is not for long, doing his superman's dive to the floor onto Espiritu. Psicosis breaks out the stapler on Cuervo. Ozz is knocked around. Psicosis suplexes Cuervo into the first row. Espiritu is elbow dropped and beat up in the corner. Rudos bring in a chair, but Cuervo attacks them before they can use it. He gets a soft chair shot to the head. Espiritu's held upside down and stomped low. Piero will allow it. Secta guys suddenly reverse whips, Perros sit in the ropes, and Secta dropkick him. Oz tornillo on Psicosis, topes by the other two. Replays. Secta just decided it was their turn, I guess. Daga's crotched on the post. Eita's hung upside down and double dropkicked. Rudos forearm and stomp down Psicosis. Perros walk out again and stay away longer.

Espiritu and Daga restart, Espiritu getting in a headscissors and a dropkick around a Daga clothesline. Eita knocks down Espiritu with a back elbow, but gets armdragged and slid out. Psicosis hits Ozz in the back with a chair and high kicks a lot, but takes a hiptoss into the chair. Ozz sends Psicosis out with a kick to the ribs. Eita high kicks Cuervo in the side of the head, but Cuervo spins him around into a sort of Valiente Buster for two. Eita misses a clothesline, and rolls backwards into a dropkick to the chest. Cuervo pulls Eita up, and Eita jumping enziguris him. Headlock punches! Crowd chants for Cuervo as Espiritu gets in his own headlock. Oh, we're doing one of these. Everyone adds a headlock. Ozz stomps on Psicosis' foot, back elbows him away, and superkicks him. Daga spinning clothesline Ozz, Espiritu frontcrackers Daga, Eita tries for a cutter on Espiritu, gets shoved off, and superkicks him anyway, Cuervo DDTs Eita. Eita has a big reaction that. Cuervo's the only one left sanding, but Psicosis comes in, and they stop to get the crowd making noise. That worked as far as getting the crowd to care but killed the momentum of the match. Psicosis doesn't care – he's untying his mask, and tossing it and Cuervo! I guess he still doesn't have a good fitting mask. Very random. Espiritu deflects a Nicho kick, spins him around, and German suplexes him low. Cuervo dropkicks Psicosis out, then follows with a tope con giro. Cuervo back up to the apron, but Eita kicks him off, then heads up. Moonsault over the ringpost! Espiritu up top, but Daga hits him and climbs up – Super Canadian Destroyer! One – and Daga stops covering because Daga Ozz is in the ring. I guess Ozz was going to break it up in a second, but odd. Daga slips out of a Ozz inside cradle and kicks Ozz in the head and tries for a headscissors DDT. Ozz blocks it, rests Daga on the mat for a two count, and then whatever they're trying just fails. I think Ozz wanted to lift up Daga for something, and they give up, Daga improvising a cradle for two. Daga with slaps and kicks, then goes for a German suplex, but Ozz blocks it twice. Ozz back elbows free, pumphandle, Ozz Driver. One two three.

Doctors checks on Daga while La Secta celebrate. Eita argues Daga got a shoulder up. He definitely did not get a shoulder up. Ozz demands a title match again. Daga notes Ozz beat him for a second time, but he and the Secta are not on his level.

Upcoming events.

Blurb: Fine match. It never really got going at a high pace, and it felt like Daga was only marginally involved before he got dropped on his head at the end. They got the finish and result over strongly. Eita fit in fine, but didn't stand out as much as I thought he would. It was really more a match for the other guys. Maybe someday Psicosis will get a mask he doesn't hate.

Second part of the Angelico/Jack Evans background video – or really just Jack Evans for this section. Jack talks about his history, alludes to Mat Rats

Match 3: Angélico, Fénix, Jack Evans vs Chessman, Pentagón Jr., Steve Pain
Arena Xalapa, 07/19/2013

Winner: tecnicos
Match Time: 11:43
Rating: good
Notes: Piero is referee.

Announcers discuss Konnan. Chessman teases starting with Angelico, but lets Steve Pain handle it. Angelico ends up armdragging him around and dropkicking Pain out out. Jack has new gear! Very confused. It's just a purple/black version of his usual outfit. Forearm battle leads to Jack flipping under a clothesline, and flip kicking Pentagon. Series of kicks drops Pentagon, but Chessman cheapshots Chessman and in flips him with a clothesline. Pentagon Jr.. adds a dropkick. Chessman clears out the other técnicos and everyone stomps poor Jack. Rudos take turns slapping the técnicos as hard and loud as possible. Jack and Angelico rush in at the same time, but just get stomped down. Angelico takes a hard slap into the corner, and a Pain boosted forearm. Pain puts Angelico in the ropes, and chessman boost Pentagon into a low blow dropkick. Jack comes in, punching Steve, but gets stomped by the other guys. Fenix ducks a clothesline, headscissors Steve, armdrags Chessman and superkicks Pentagon. Chessman is able to knock him down from behind. Rudos whip Fenix, who just leaps out of the ring into a headscissors on Pain. Other técnicos trip other técnicos out, go back in, a and out with step Jack-style tope con giros dives. Crowd is happy. Pain and Fenix back in, Fenix spinning floating DDT. Pain flips Fenix to the apron only to take swing kick to the back, and Fenix springboard to a push off reverse headscissors. That was crazy. Fenix snap huracanrana one two NO. Whip, reversed, tosses Fenix into a flapjack cutter, but the técnicos break it up. Rudos try to help out pain, but the técnicos kick them off the apron. Kicks to the midsection, snap mare, Angelico running kick to the chest, Jack suplexes into a flipping splash on Pain and the rudos break that up. Técnicos pull off the fireman's carry double stomp/headscissors bit with Pentagon and Chessman, and Angelico flip kicks Pentagon out. Angelico goes out one way with a fosberry flop plancha, Jack does his handspring dive out the other way! Pain and Fenix in, Fenix kicks Pain lands on his back, and flips him into a Code Red for – 2! Crowd thought that was the finish and I think they're right. They do stomp their way back in to. Fenix kicks Pain in the chest, Fenix yells at him, Pain kicks Fenix in the head, double pumphandle powerbomb one two NO. Fenix gets in a superkick, heads up to, and lands a tornillo senton hard on him for three.

Blurb: Another really good match with this crew. It didn't seem like there was as much craziness as some of the other ones, and this one felt shorter, but this still was very solid. Fenix looked spectacular in what looks like his last match here for a while. It would be nice if these matches were lading somewhere, but they're fine just existing.

Match 4: Cibernético, El Mesías, La Parka vs el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Parka Negra, Texano
Arena Xalapa, 07/19/2013

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 17:16 (9:04+8:12)
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Tirantes.

Rudo jump the técnicos. Perro Aguayo throws a chair at Cibernético on the outside while the other guys work over the técnicos inside. Chair into chair violence. The chairs are really hurt. Slow speed brawling with Cibernético and Perro playing near the crowd. Rudos entertain themselves on corner clotheslines. Cibernético slowly spears Parka Negra to start the comeback. Bull roe revenge shots take place. Rudos regroup on the outside, then Parka Negra runs into get hit by a chair and hit by a bull rope. Rudos stall for a while on the outside, Perro going into the crowd to cheerlead. Break.

Perro vs Cibernético video package, in case you forgot they were feuding during the commercial break.

Back to the match for showcases. Cibernético and Perro actually start, Cibernético taking care of Perro quickly. Mesías throws Texano around, including a headscissors at the end. Parka and Parka Negra have a dance contest. Crowd determines Parka wins, seems to be incorrect. Parka slides out on Negra, Negra slide out after him, Parka slides in first and pulls off the Ephesto tope. Texano goes for his dive, but Mesías puts up the stop sign to cut him off. Mesías has really expanded, and he's trying to hide it under a shirt. Texano takes the knee bump out and Mesías gives him a shoulder first tope. Cibernético and Perro to finish it. Chop fight, error misses a corner charge, Cibernético chokeslams chokeslams him and pins him clean. Tirantes makes a fair count.

Lots of replays and social media plugs

Cibernético runs into the Sect backstage, who are happy for his win and propose they all come to ring to support him next time. Cibernético is not thrilled with that idea for whatever reason. The idea here seems to be Cibernético is responsible for the Secta not helping out at TripleMania and he's not interested in them interfering like the Perros del Mal.

Announcers wrap up.

Dance video with Niño Hamburguesa and Los Reinas del ring. I have no idea.
