Announcers hype a main event with Thunder. No. There are other people too.

Match 1: Höruz & Robin vs Cholo & Ramstein
Arena Mexico, 06/25/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:08
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra

1: standard opening fall, with routine mat work between Ramstein & Robin and Cholo & Höruz. Second exchange goes much better for Ramstein, who looks more mobile this week and ends up hanging both técnico in the same corner for a double dropkick by the rudos. Rudos finish up soon after that, and Ramstein gives Robin a press slam into a knee to the midsection. to set up his finish.

2: Larger rudos toss and kick around the técnicos for a while. Höruz uses a turnbuckle climbing backflip to start the comeback, though Höruz is way late with his plancha onto Ramstein. Moonsault into a arm trap armbar finishes him, and Höruz uses a strange hold on Cholo to tie the match.

3: Ramstein freaks out after taking a Robin superkick to the face. Höruz monkey flips Cholo around, then drops him in the corner for Robin's senton con giro. Höruz finishes his hold himself for an easy win

Match 2: Black Metal, Metálico, Stigma vs Bárbaro Cavernario, Hijo del Signo, Hooligan
Arena Mexico, 06/25/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:03
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Tirantes. Isis is with Hooligan, though we don't even see here for the first two falls.

1: Stigma and Barbaro start off and work good against each other. Hooligan & Metal are not as smooth, and end oddly. A metal middle rope headscissors has Hooligan pop up right away and them shove each other. Metal gets shoved down, tries to kip up to his feet, and slips. Hooligan just tags out at that point. Signo quickly handles Metálico and lands the top rope splash without much fight back.

2: Rudos take control, and give Stigma a camel clutch/dropkick spot. Barbaro backdrops Sigma high in the air and celebrates. Hooligan Crash on Stigma, but no pin – he taunts Metal instead. Metal's tossed into a Barbaro top rope dropkick. Crowd seems to really like Barbaro. Barbaro kicks around Signo, and Hooligan lands a low blow dropkick. Rudos angrily beat down Stigma. Triple boot to send him out, backdrop and double boot for Metal. Barbaro falls down to distract Metálico, which is weird but works. Rudos accidentally whip and trip Metálico into a huracanrana on Signo. Hooligan stares at it happening, then turns away so he can be tripped up and not break up the pin. Whatever.

3: Stigma pulls off the running front flip but, and headscissors and armdrags Barbaro around. Dropkick traps Barbaro in the ropes, and Stigma kicks him to the floor. Black Metal and Hooligan still aren't good with each other, including a moment where Black Metal goes for a springboard only to look back and see there's no one there. Metal does land a good Vangelis look spear thru the ropes and angrily kicks Hooligan on the ground. Hooligan gets back up and chops Black Metal and kicks him down. Hooligan threaten to rip up Metal's mask while Metálico and Signo are trying to have their big finish. Fans are watching Hooligan, and Signo kicks down Metálico so he can watch Hooligan too. The two in the ring get going again, with Signo knocking Metálico around. Signo and Metálico blow a spot beyond description, then Signo does a standing dropkick to nowhere. Metálico jabs Signo a lot and slaps him in the face, and Signo only half reacts. Time to end this one. Armdrags and awkwardness, the match having broken down. Signo kicks out Metálico and follows with the banned second match tope. Barbaro sizes up for his dive, but Stigma gets in a flying armdrag. Barbaro turns it around, dumps Stigma near the ropes, and lands a reverse springboard splash – for two. Barbaro argues the pin, but gets nowhere with Tirantes. Barbaro clothesline turned into a backbreaker (?!?) for two. Barbaro tries staring at Tirantes, that doesn’t help either. Stigma kicks Barbaro, double underhook powerbomb one two three.

Hooligan kicks Stigma out, teas a dive, and doe the handspring instead. Black Metal finally planchas him. Metal running fast, a huracanrana, Hooligan rolls thru one two NO. Metal runs up the corner for a reverse tope, one two three.

Match 3: Bushiroad, Diamante, Fuego ©  vs Boby Zavala, Sangre Azteca, Vangellys
Arena Mexico, 06/25/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 14:13
Rating: good
Notes: Referee is Pompin.

1: Pairs are Diamante/Sangre, Bushi/Zavala, and Fuego/Vangelis. Bushi gets in a nice headscissors to the floor, while Fuego's back bend sets himself up for Vangelis spear. That turns the fall the rudo way, with Fuego being kicked to the floor and Diamante taking leg kicks and a flapjack. Sangre trips up Bushi in the corner and dropkicks him low. Zavala dropkick Fuego hard. Vangelis' fallaway slam sets up the Zavala top rope splash for the win.

2: Rudos continue in control for a while. Vangelis puts a lot of effort into boot choking Fuego, who's beaten up by the rudos for most of the beatdown. Diamante lands hard from a Vangelis clothesline. Bushi doesn't seem to be in much. Fuego sidestepping a corner charge start the comeback , which is not long – Fuego dropkicks Zavala & Azteca, Vangelis misses a senton, Diamante springboard splashes Vangelis, then rolls off so Bushi can do the same. That's all it takes.

3: Vangelis wants to have a pose off with Bushi, but Bushi just chops him. Vangelis wins that, but Bushi spins back up to his feet. Vangelis stops him with a kick this time, but Bushi comes back with a corner push off headscissors. Zavala takes the knee bump out chasing Bushi. Announcers are pushing Bushi as trained by Ultimo Dragon and Hayabusa and I have no idea why. It doesn't it appear to be true. Sangre chops Bushi so hard that they're both hurt. Bushi sends Sangre out via armdrags, and follows with a surprise tope. Diamante goes over Vangelis' head on a head scissors, and chops Zavala into vibrations. Multiple bounce armdrag sends bobby out, Diamante after with the top rope Asai tornillo. Fuego dropkick Vangelis four times, sending him out on the last and lands his own tope. Bushi and Sangre back in, Sangre misses a corner dropkick, Bushi puts him in a suástica and Diamante submits Bobby.

Match 4: Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Máscara Dorada vs Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero
Arena Mexico, 06/25/2013

  1. Guerreros

  2. técnicos
  3. Guerreros

Winner: Guerreros (2-1)
Match Time: 10:50
Rating: good
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra.

1: Delta's neon green pants are something. Something to burn your eyes out. Normal feeling out between Delta/Gran Guerrero and Maya/Euforia (turns out to be good!) and then UG does his but of knocking the técnico out of the ring before he can do anything. Cameras totally miss it but I can see Ultimo Guerrero spots in my sleep. Rudo beatdown from there. Gran Guerrero does the flying sit on Delta. Double rolling dropkick to the face for Maya. All three técnicos are brought in, whipped together, and the new triple Guerrero submission special is put on for the fall.

2: Delta takes a dropkick slide off the apron. Gran Guerrero gives Maya a misaimed dropkick. Rudos mis a double clothesline, though too soon for he other técnicos got get in position for their springboard moves. Tecnicos do triple dives, but Dorada's tope con giro is caught by UG and driven into the post. UG comes back in, and is immediately turned into the Sacrifica Maya.

3: Maya powerslam and gets nothing out of it, so he switches to armdrags to send Euforia out. Graphcis list the previous match, oops. Delta quickly backspring headscissors Gran Guerrero out and follows with his handspring roll over the top rope into a headscissors. UG spins out Dorada with a shoulderblock, Dorada comes back with a rope flip headscissors of hi own. Rudos manage to flip Dorada to the ramp and clotheslines him, but leave him to recover there, and that's always a bad idea. Guerrero misses a corner charge and take knee bumps out, then Delta moonsaults out of the ring as Dorada comes back in with a headscissors. Maya gets in a plancha to the floor, and Dorada cracks UG with a Brillo Dorada. Everyone recovers. Maya and Euforia back in, Maya gets in the double knees to the back, and Gran Guerrero breaks up the pin. Maya reverse springboard awkwardly hits Gran Guerrero knees. That did not fun. Delta breaks up the pin, then fisherman's suplexes GG for a two count. Delta argues the count, then can't get GG over for another superplex. GG lands his own suplex for two. Delta tags in Dorada, Ultimo tags in for the rudo side. UG trips up Dorada quickly and sweeps him off the apron with a dropkick. Técnicos kick UG out, rudos drop them and quickly get to their finishes. GG is still using the Toroslam to make it obvious.

Stellar Moments

El Novato: Soberano springboard legdrop to the back of Akuma's head.

El Castigo: Amapola dropkick on Dark Angel.

El Triunfo: Dark Angel reinera on Amapola

El Tecnico: Rey Cometa 450 splash on Psicosis

La Combinacion: Psicosis beats Diamante while Olímpico submits Triton

Match 5: La Máscara, Thunder, Titán vs Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto
Arena Mexico, 06/25/2013

  1. técnicos

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-0)
Match Time: 12:40
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Tirantes.

1: Titan really grinds his way into a camel clutch on Ephesto , but Ephesto escapes out to a surfboard. Mascara headscissors and armdrags Averno around again. Quebradora on the floor too. Thunder does a lot shrugging off chops and armdrags. And an occasional bad quebradora. Titan and Averno face off, but are stop from fighting by Tirantes arguing about the tag not being legal. Tirantes and Titan go as far as getting into a shoving match about it. (Tirantes shoved first.) Averno and Titan try to go around Tirantes, but that doesn't work. Somehow, Titan standing in the ring tagging Thunder is good enough. That accomplished nothing. Titan gets in nothing before Mephisto cheap shots him from behind. Averno starts the mask untying, with Mephisto distracting him. Averno takes over the distracting, and Ephesto takes over the untying. Ephesto and Mephisto do the switch too. Titan comes back with the handspring side kick on Ephesto, then ducks a clothesline, and push of headscissors Ephesto out of the ring. Titan's hair is spilling out of his mask. Handspring back flip headscissors on Mephisto. Averno in, mockingly clapping – clothesline misses, Averno pulls off Titan's mask, and Titan covers up. That's an easy DQ. Averno celebrates his loss with the mask.

2: Rudos have beat up the técnicos between falls. No tags! Averno kicks titan around ringside. While the rudos mostly work with Mascara and then run from Thunder. Averno goes for La Mascara's mask for old time's sake. Averno goes for Thunder's mask too to just to be fair. Also, untying Thunder's mask stops him from doing anything. Averno do the same switch bit here. Thunder's face gets greatly exposed in the end. Rudos send out Mascara out with the lightest triple boot possible, then do their pose, but Titan returns with a new mask to break it up. Springboard dropkick on Averno, Mephisto lead into a slap on Ephesto, and Thunder clotheslines them both. Averno dropkick on Thunder misses, and Mascara flying headscissors him. Confusion leads to the rudos running into the técnicos submission holds. Mascara beats Averno, not Titan.

Titan challenges Averno for a title match next week. Averno says it doesn't matter what the people want, but he'll accept the challenge because he's professional under one condition – no Indians allowed in the arena! Averno leaves.
