AAA Fusion #29 (04/24/2013)
Recapped: 04/24/2013

Tonight: Argenis, Dizzy, Zumbi vs the Rockers

Tonight: Atomic Boy, Pasion Kristal, Lolita vs Gran Apache, Sexy Lady, Mamba

Open, which still has LA Park in it. (And Sexy Star.) Maybe next week.

Atomic Boy, with his shoulder brace on, does some sort of crunches/sit up exercise while talking about how he's going to beat Gran Apache. Too bad Gran Apache is behind that curtain – the rudo attacks and chokes the técnico before walking away.

Later: That match.

Later: the other match

Match 1: Argenis, Dizzy, Zumbi vs Devil Rocker, Machine Rocker, Soul Rocker
Arena Lopez Mateos, 04/06/2013

Winner: Rockers
Match Time: 11:24
Rating: eh
Notes: Zumbi has an unidentified title belt. The Zumbi fan girls are at the show. Dizzy has turned técnicos since the last time we saw him. Zumbid dances once too often and the rudos attack to the start the match. Piero is referee.

Soul gives Dizzy a flying sit. Argenis is shoved in to a clothesline. Inverted chinlock/kick to the chest for Zumbi. Rockers try for something on Dizzy, then just decide to kick him out before they get to it. Argenis tricks the rudos into chopping Devil out, then leads them into delayed flying headscissors by the other técnicos. Triple tope bit, on varying sides of the ring. Crowd is very anti-tecnico, or at least this técnico. Tecnico showcases goes Argenis, Zumbi, Dizzy oddly. Argenis looks best with Machine, what a shocking surprise. Argenis tries jumping of the post to the ramp for an armdrag on Devil, and it doesn't look so great. Soul gets into a dance contest with Zumbi, but Zumbi remembers to stop dancing and start kicking. Unfortunately, he had a chance to celebrate, and machine blows him up with a headscissors. Zumbi comes back with his dancing kicks. Corner headstand double knee drop for Soul, and many kicks for Zumbi. Dizzy does generic técnico offense, slipping on a springboard push off at one point, and being spun out by a Machine shoulderblock. Machine Rocker lifts his mask up enough to spit at Argenis, which is a nice trick. Slingshot tope con giro by Dizzy takes them both out. Other técnicos send the other Rockers out, then moonsault onto them for the second round of dives of the match. Dizzy and Machine back in, Dizzy gets a near fall off a huracanrana and a powerslam, but misses a semi-ugly quebrada. Machine misses a senton, but ducks a clothesline and gets in his Inferno Suplex for the pin. Inferno has trouble rolling thru, and Machine seems to be hurting after delivering the move. He still gets a win.

Later: that other match. Hopefully much later, way too much time left.

Highlights of Fenix, Electroshock, La Parka vs Parka Negra, Pentagon Jr., and Chessman. This kills a minute or two.

Still to come: that other match!

Gran Apache vs Atomic Boy feud recap – repeat! They do add on the footage from the last match.

Match 2: Atomic Boy, Lolita, Pasion Kristal vs Gran Apache, Mamba, Sexy Lady
Arena Lopez Mateos, 04/06/2013

Winner: rudos
Match Time: 12:08
Rating: eh
Notes: Sexy Lady's back tattoo from the last Fusion taping is gone, so not so much a tattoo. Ruda Mamba tries to get the fans to clap and cheer for as he dances to the ring. I guess that could work if it was meant to be insincere. It does not appear to be insincere. It also doesn't appear to work. Rudos jump the técnicos as Atomic Boy approaches the ring, including Atomic Boy getting rammed into the post. The fight goes on a while before the ring announcer can finish – since he's backstage, he's not much disturbed by this fight.

Apaches goes for Atomic Boy's mask, then all the rudos just take turns slapping Atomic Boy. Mamba accidentally boosts Atomic Boy into a dropkick, and Atomic Brillo planchas Apache. Exoticos are taken out, and Lolita's left in with Sexy Lady. Lolita armdrags both Sexy Lady and Mamba out, and the show heads to break.

Kristal dances while standing on the ropes, leading into an armdrag on Mamba. The armdrag is not so good, and the headscissors that follows is not much better. Atomic Boy and Apache are in next, and the crowd is not as loud as you'd expect, but it's also the distant sounding crowd usually on this show. Atomic Boy starts up running up the ropes, and Apache slaps him down. It seems throw him for the next few moments, but they get that spot back, and Atomic Boy dropkicks and topes Apache. Mamba is in long enough to send Atomic Boy out. Lolita takes over, and gives Sexy Lady a corner front cracker with Lady tied up in the ropes – it doesn't look good at all, but that's a design flaw. Mamba breaks it up and brainbusters Lolita. Kristal breaks it up and quebrada Mamba. Sexy Lady breaks it up and pulls off the headscissors into a backcracker. Atomic Boy breaks it up and puts Sexy Lady in a hold, and Apache hits Atomic Boy in the head with a chair. Lolita protests, and is held for a chair shot the backside. It's totally why this isn't a DQ, but it is an excuse for blood so blood is what they get. Rudos take back over, and the match pretty much is back where it started, with Atomic Boy's mask ripped up. Rudos beat up the tecnicos with a lot of slaps. Tecnicos get crotched on the post a few times, but Atomic Boy turns it around, and the rudos do it to Apache by accident, except they totally see it coming. Atomic Boy pulls Apache out of the corner, and Apache is completely fine in seconds. I'm so done with this match. Lolita lands her thru the ropes tope con giro on Mamba. Sexy Lady looks very nervous on the top rope, even with Kristal's help, but still does plancha to the floor. Kristal does a poor moonsault to the floor, but everyone's there to catch him. Feuding guys are left, Apache fouls Atomic Boy, one two three.

Rudos beat up the técnicos after the match. Security gets involved and holds back Gran Apache for no reason I can figure. Plenty people do worse and don’t have four people dragging them away. Mamba and Pasion Kristal roll around around the mat fighting for no particular reason. Apache sneaks thru the crowd and attacks Atomic Boy again. Nice job security. This ends, eventually.
