Match 1: Acero, Aereo, Fantasy © vs Mercurio, Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico ©
Arena Mexico, 04/12/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:54
Rating: eh/okay
Notes: Referee is Pompin.

1: Fantasy shoves Mercurio off the apron before starting with Nitro, then they look back to the ring to see Mercurio and Acero wrestling. Magic! They're just finishing up anyway. Acero and Olímpico are next, with mat wrestling and practiced evasion. Aereo dropkicks out Olímpico out. Nitro takes his place, and ends up tripping Aereo on the apron and dropkicking him out. Acero takes his turn and dropkicks Nitro out. Mercurio survives a springboard armdrag to superkick Acero off the apron. Fantasy takes the hamstring flip kick off the ropes, and Mercurio package piledriver for the win.

2: Rudos stay in control. There's a shot of a boy and a girl (and their mom) with Rey Escorpion bandana's on, and it looks like it's Rey Escorpion's son but not sure. They were shown just as random fans. What it does do is cover up another edit, and now the técnicos are back rolling with the rudos on the apron. Aereo is shown in briefly. Acero headscissors and armdrags Pequeño Olímpico out. Mercurio takes the slide to the outside from Fantasy. Nitro knocks down Fantasy with a plancha, but he and Fantasy have problems on a clothesline. They talk a bit before the next spot, and still aren't on the same page right way. Fantasy gives Nitro a big rebound faceslam, covers two twice, then Olímpico breaks it up. Acero gives Pequeño Olímpico a casadora into a kneebar and that's it for the fall.

3: Edited right off the bat, to the middle of a Fantasy pinfall on Nitro. It doesn't take, and Fantasy dropkicks Nitro out. Olímpico slaps down the bigger ma, gives him a flapjack in the corner, and dropkicks him out. Aereo knocks down Olímpico with a back elbow, Aereo comes back with a corner kick and an elbow drop for two. La Flashina for two. Aereo dropkicks Olímpico out. Mercurio in, crowd about done with this. Aereo with a huracanrana for two. Aereo springboards into a Mercurio dropkick one two NO. I'm about done with this. Mercurio tosses Aereo and dropkick him out. Acero in with a Rosa into a bodyslam, but Nitro breaks it up before I have to figure out what to label it. Front cracker on Acero, and we're finally getting to the end game.

Aereo knocks Nitro out, and stomps Mercurio after a missed dropkick. Mercurio makes superkicks Aereo out, but fantasy knocks the rudo down. Mercurio fights back and gets to the top rope, but Aereo crotches him from outside, and climbs up with him for a Spanish fly. One two three.

Nitro boots Aereo, Fantasy quebradoras Nitro. Tecnicos double team Nitro, who valiantly fights back against both of them. Things happen, match continues to drag on, there's an ugly backslide finish, Pequeño Olímpico gives Aereo a cradle swinging neckbreaker which clearly should be the finish, and the match goes on. Olímpico submits him in the next move. Crowd, which had been supporting the rudos, does not seem like the result.

Match 2: Rey Cometa vs Namajague in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 04/12/2013

Winner: Rey Cometa
Match Time: 5:53, though less on the official clock
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Edecans start to flee before Namajague even attacks Cometa on the ramp. They have ESP! Namajague is wearing his mask, but with the hair cut out, and stomps and chops Cometa on the ramp. Referee is Terror Chino.

Namajague throws Cometa in over the top. Chop into the corner. Bestia Negra giving him a problem about the mask again. Corner whip, Namajague corner clothesline. Cometa chopped out of the ring. Namajague unmasked, and half his face is still painted liked his mask, the same half as his blond mask. Namajague out and forearming Cometa on the outside. Top unzipped, hard shot to the chest. Namajague throws Cometa into the barricade and goes back in. Namajague isn't fooling around. Cometa rolls back in and chops Namajague back. Namajague charges, and flips Cometa over one a clothesline. Chop, boot choke, boot scrape. Running boot to the face, Cometa pulled out and covered for two. Clock looks like it started twenty seconds late. Namajague chinlocks Cometa, though ti's more of a choke on the mat. Namajague points at someone in the crowd and laughs. Whip, clothesline misses, Cometa back with a headscissors. Namajague immediately spears Cometa hard and pounds him with punches. Double boot scrape, kick to the back of the head, cover one two NO. Namajague is annoyed. Whip, reversed, Namajague Cometa ducks, Namajague kicks, Cometa pulls him down into the splits, high kick misses, inside cradle rolled thru, more evasions sets up Cometa's handspring backflip headscissors to send Namajague out. Namajague grabs his own chest on the outside and Cometa follows with a big tornillo. Both down. Replays. Cometa beats up Namajague on the outside, and throws him back in. Cometa back in and chopping Namajague into the corner. Five minute mark on the clock. Cometa dumps Namajague in the corner and goes up. 450 splash connects, and that should be it, but Okumura walks in the ring and attacks Rey Cometa. Lots of punches, delaying Terror Chino from raising Cometa's arm for the win. Chino gives up and just signals it.

Okumura brainbuster on Cometa. Okumura walks off, leaving Namajague to take care of Cometa. Slam, Namajague goes up, top rope frog splash, scream at the crowd. Okumura returns with a picture frame, and Namajague breaks the glass on Cometa's head. Okumura leaves the ring and argues with the commissioner for whatever reason. Cometa is slightly cut by the glasses on the shoulder, but otherwise out. The doctor checks on Cometa while Okumura declares Cometa lucky last time. Namajague rants in Japanese, then yells for the rudos., then goes back to Japanese, then switches to Spanish for hair vs hair challenge.

Match 3: La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Shocker © vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Mr. Águila ©, Rey Escorpión
Arena Mexico, 04/12/2013

  1. técnicos

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-0)
Match Time: 8:35
Rating: okay
Notes: Sombra and Rey Escorpion are brawling near the stage as they pick up. Mije is with the rudos and quickly getting in a low blow shot. Monito is with the técnicos. Babe Richard is referee.

1: Shocker is wearing what looks like a fused Shocker/Aguila mask. I could not tell you why. Maybe they were meant to be a team in the incredible partners tournament? Aguila hiptoss and stomps Shocker to the ropes, then comes out with him to throw him into the barricade. Escorpion and Dragon Rojo double team Sombra, then chop and punch Marco. Marco is thrown out and limping as he walks around. Shocker is nicely whipped into an Aguila high kick. Shocker still hasn't got his coat off, and Aguila pulls it over Shocker's head as he stomps him. Rudos trap Marco in their corners for punches and boot him down. Sombra charges the rudos and gets knocked down and stomped, then takes Dragon Rojo's low blow dropkick. Marco ducks a double clothesline to land one of his own. Aguila kicks him down, Shocker spears him and punches. Rudos makes the save, then set up Shocker for Aguila's middle rope legdrop. STF on, Shocker gives, Aguila takes his time letting go – and won't. Cameras are slow picking this up, and Babe Richard somehow decides Aguila has a eight (?!?!) count to let go, but Aguila holds on until he gets his DQ. It's not a particularly good looking hold. Rudos argue but get nowhere.

2: Revolucionarios double team Marco and do their dual pose, but Marco comes back with left handed punches all around and a big hanging suplex. He does not seem to be feeling good as he leaves, but then Shocker is limping a bit as he takes over. He still punches and chops Aguila around. Aguila misses one jumping spinning heel kick, Shocker points out he missed, and Aguila hits him with the next. Aguila leaps up over a Shocker charge, Shocker hits the post, and Aguila follow with his over the corner tope con giro. Marco ducks a Dragon Rojo kick and inside cradles him – that's his new finish! - and Sombra gets Rey Escorpion whit a springboard huracanrana for pins.

Oh, right, the técnicos won the first fall, that's the match. No particular reaction by the crowd. Sombra takes off his shirt now because he never had time during the match. Same thing with Monito beating up Mije. Rudos beat up Shocker after the match anyway, and Aguila kind of rambles without getting to the point. Shocker does get to the point and asks for a hair vs hair match, but Aguila jumps on Shocker and pounds him some more. Rudos pose. Crowd shots and done.
