SLP crowd shots and hype leads us to

Tonight: Atomic Boy, Zumbi, Niño Hamburguesa vs Mamba, Apache, Ultimo Gladiadior

Tonight: Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Juventued Guerrera vs Drago, Halloween, Psicosis

And now back to Pachuca, where Atomic Boy bled a lot due to Gran Apache. Highlights and such. And then he got fired. And then Dorian got fired.

To Irapuato, where Atomic Boy got some revenge. Atomic Boy attacking Gran Apache in a strecher on the way out shown here.

To Neza, where Atomic Boy apologizes for being unable to wrestle – a surprisingly quick healing broken arm, seeing as that was two days ago – and was attacked by Gran Apache again.

Match 1: Atomic Boy, Nino Hamburguesa, Zumbi vs Black Mamba, Gran Apache, Último Gladiador
Domo de San Luis, San Luis Potosi, 03/03/2013

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 11:41
Rating: eh
Notes: After all that, no entrances. Refere eis Pepe Casas.

Rudos have jumped to the técnicos, including Gran Apache assaulting Atomic Boy with a chair. That part of the beatdown doesn’t last long, but it's enough for the Doctor to come in the ring and pull Atommic Boy out. Atomic Boy grabs his right arm and walks to the back help from the Doctor – new doctor? Niño Hamburgesa is very confused. Fans boo. Everyone settles down to their corners to work the match as 3 on 2, with the técnicos getting in their offense anyway. Zumbi and Mamba have a dance contest, which end with Zumbi dropkicked. Zumbi's kicked are closer to hitting their target here. Crowd is either totally disinterested or turned down a lot more on this show. Zumbi offense goes for a while and is just okay, but I'm surprised he went before Niño. Gran Apache begging off from Niño is at least amusing. Lots of fat agile spots. Niño lands a plash on all three, only gets two, and they roll out before he can land the next. Mamba kisses Niño, as the announcers note that happened way back on the QPPLC show. This match is slow and quiet, so it's amusing when Gran Apache yells at the crowd to be quiet. The kiss evidentially started the beatdown, because the rudos are now choking 3 on 1. Zumbi takes an amusingly weird bump thru the ropes. Niño Hamburguesa returns to do Super Porky like offense, including a rolling senton in the corner with all the rudos lined up and the rudos fleeing out of the way of a second one for the second time.) Everyone leaves, stands around, and looks for an edit point. This really needs to got to the finish. It heads there, but Zumbi and Gladiador botch some spot, and Zumbi follows with a top rope plancha to the floor. Mamba runs for a dive, but bounces off Niño instead. Niño and Zumbi take forever setting up the Niño tope thru the ropes. Niño and Apache slow going thru a crucifix powerbomb/huracanrana reversal bit for two. Apache slaps Zumbi down, yells at him, and drops him in front of the corner, but Atomic Boy (in a sling) returned, and he throws a drink in Apache's face. Apache slips to the mat, Zumbi lands a spinning kick, and it's over.

Later: the other match. Plenty of time to fill that.

Announcers say we'll see the Reina de Reinas title match next week. Highlights of the tournament matches and post match promos air.

And now a recap of the Fusion tournament, which will also have it's final next week.

Match 2: Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Juventud Guerrera vs Daga, Halloween, Psicosis
Domo de San Luis, San Luis Potosi, 03/03/2013

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 12:54
Rating: ok
Notes: No entrances here too. Referee is Copetes.

Being a Halloween match, the rudos threaten to walk out before changing their minds. That's how Halloween gets his cardio in, all that walking out. Daga and Crazy Boy do mat wrestling. Crazy Boys' speed is an issue. Daga's speed is not an issue. Crazy Boy tries starting an Esto Es Lucha (mostly to catch his breath.) These two have clearly have the sequences worked out in advance, because Crazy Boy rolls too far on a cradle and they force their way back to the counter spot they meant to do. Again, crowd is way in the background or very quiet or both, so their match built around people reacting loud to big spots isn't quite working. It turns into the other four guys taking those two and each other until an extended Halloween and Lider sequence. Lider gives us the second Stunner variant of the match ( to 1 cutter), and Nicho teases breaking it up before baking of because he's so scared of Joe Lider. Nicho still shoves Lider into the rudo corner into a Daga forearm (which may or may not be sold, tough to tell) and the beatdown starts there. Nicho staples Lider in the back and the face. Just a random spot in the middle of the match. Lider is hung upside down, Crazy's is rammed into him, and crotched into Lider's head. Rudos give Juvi a sloppy over the shoulder backbreaker/legdrop to the face spot which nearly drops Juvi to the top of his head. He rolls out and screams while grabbing his bad shoulder (which actually makes me think he's okay and just doing it for the camera right in front of him.) Crazy Boy starts the comeback by being quick (?) enough to move out of the way of a Halloween corner charge, then ties up the standings with a second cutter on Daga. Comeback includes Juvi walking around fine and Lider thrown a chair in Nicho's face. Ring clears out, Lider and Daga clothesline each other, Halloween and Crazy cover for two. Halloween spits at Crazy, and they both let it sink it for a while. Crazy spits back. Chopfight, Crazy's chops are no good, he smartly switches to forearms, and Halloween wins via eye poke. Crazy out punches Halloween in the corner, but runs into the spear for two. Halloween gives Crazy Boy a DDT on the apron, which Halloween sells by bending over and walking around for a split second before tripping Halloween and kicking him in the face. That was dumb. Juvi and Psicosis fight on another apron, with Juvi lifting Psicosis up for a suplex, and both falling to the floor, Psicosis taking an absurd insane bump. No possible idea what he was thinking. Daga gives Lider a fireman's carry frontcracker, but only can get two. Daga slaps around Lider by the face, Lider catches a punch and drops him with a Lider Storm one two three.

Psicosis gets medical attention the outside and is stretchered out. It's not just that bump was crazy, but I can't imagine what it was supposed to have been in the first place – Psicosis is lucky he landed clear of the ring, because a replay shows how close the back of his head came to banging on the apron. Mexican Powers dance in the ring. Shot of Marisela Pena remembering to look interested when the camera is on her.
