Rayo de Jalisco history speech.

Prizes are given away. Why is it Dragon Rojo doing the gift bit every week? Did they just do the gift giveaway one week and are splitting up the footage?

Match 1: Dragón Rojo Jr. & Niebla Roja vs Rush & Terrible in a National Parejas Increible eightfinal match
Arena Mexico, 03/08/2013

Winner: Dragon Rojo Jr. & Niebla Roja
Match Time: 5:22
Rating: eh
Notes: Comandante is with Terrible, in TRT gear. Referee is Bestia Negra. Rush and Terrible have matching black and green gear. That seems very unlike them.

Rush threatening to beat up everyone, referee included, is always fun. Niebla Roja manages to superkick Rush, but Rush dropkicks him out and Ruth & Terrible beat up Team Red on the outside, then on the inside. They're not big on the idea of tags. Roja reverses a whip, sending Rush into a Terrible dropkick, and that's pretty much it. Terrible probably has a winning pinfall on Dragon Roja soon after, but Rush breaks it up, and the inevitable fight happens. Both shove the ref down, which is not a DQ, and the Reds cradle Rush and Terrible (Niebla Roja uses the ropes for whatever reason) to get the pins.

Terrible and Rush resume fighting as everyone else leaves.

Match 2: Blue Panther & Rey Escorpión vs Delta & Tiger in a National Parejas Increible eightfinal match
Arena Mexico, 03/08/2013

Winner: Blue Panther & Rey Escorpion
Match Time: 2:16
Rating: eh
Notes: joined in progress. Referee is Edgar. Delta & Tiger have matching orange gear.

Tiger and Delta are already doing their dives out of the ring as the match is picked up. Tiger and Panther go back and forth in the ring until Tiger gets in a superkick and Escorpion returns to break up the pin. Escorpion's sit down powerbomb is broken up by Delta. Delta's code red on Escorpion does not look good, just gets broken up by Panther. Panther boosts Delta into an Escorpion sit down powerbomb and armbars Tiger for the win.

Match 3: Atlantis & Último Guerrero vs Pólvora & Valiente in a National Parejas Increible eightfinal match
Arena Mexico, 03/08/2013

Winner: Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero
Match Time: 4:06
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Maya.

Atlantis has no problem with Pólvora, but Guerrero misses a corner charge and takes the knee bump out in no time. Valiente Special on him. Atlantis resumes giving Pólvora quebradordas, then Pólvora and Atlantis team up for a botched hurricanarana and a slow roll thru. Pólvora gives Atlantis the Pólvora Driver and Atlantis kicks out because I dunno. They leave, Valiente goes up to the middle rope to take UG's front superplex for another two count. Valiente springboard flips into giving UG the Valiente Buster, and Atlantis breaks up that pin. Pólvora run into an Ultimo Guerrero Atlantida, and Atlantis does the same to Valiente for the win.

Match 4: Diamante Azul & Euforia vs Ángel de Oro & Ephesto in a National Parejas Increible eightfinal match
Arena Mexico, 03/08/2013

Winner: Diamante Azul & Euforia
Match Time: 5:49
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Babe Richard.

Ephesto offers a handshake. Euforia thinks about it, almost does it, and changes his mind. Match is not smooth or timely at first. Angel de Oro is seconds behind on a springboard spot, then nearly destroys his ankles on a flipping run. Angel de Oro and Diamante Azul have an improbably even chop fight before Azul goes into his usual moves. Oro manages to dropkick him out and tope con giro him, while Euforia slides out on Ephesto and pays with the usual tope. Everyone makes it back in, the rudos knock each other down, the técnicos find themselves putting on the star together and then remembering they're on opposite teams. They get into another slap fight, and then just stop after a while, while the rudos stare at them. Rudos eventually dump the técnicos to the apron so they can have their own battle. Ephesto gives Euforia a backbreaker for two, then goes up top so Euforia can powerbomb him off for another two count. Oro returns for a two man superplex on Euforia, Azul kicks Angel de Oro down, and everyone kicks out at two. Ephesto suddenly gives Azul his shoulderbreakers, and Euforia has to break that up. Oro starts on his campana, Azul breaks that up with a kick. Ephesto jumps at Azul, Azul catches him and pins him with a bridging fallaway slam, and Euforia gives Angel de Oro the Euforica Special.

Match 5: Dragón Rojo Jr. & Niebla Roja vs Blue Panther & Rey Escorpión in a National Parejas Increible tournament quarterfinal match
Arena Mexico, 03/08/2013

Winner: Dragon Rojo Jr. & Niebla ROja
Match Time: 6:38
Rating: eh
Notes: Referee is Tigre Hispano.

Rey Escorpion spends a lot of time reluctantly fighting Dragon Rojo. They keep it technical at first, then Panther starts grabbing Dragon Rojo and forced Rojo to hit him. Rojo doesn't seem to have a problem with this or with the idea of fighting Escorpion himself. It turns out to have nothing to do with anything, as Team Red randomly get their finishes in after near falls and no particular set up. Dragon Rojo top rope double stomps Escorpion and Niebla Roja puts Blue Panther in an odd triangular del solar cradle

Match 6: Atlantis & Último Guerrero vs Diamante Azul & Euforia in a National Parejas Increible tournament quarterfinal match
Arena Mexico, 03/08/2013

Winner: Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero
Match Time: 2:52
Rating: eh
Notes: Referee is Maya. Match appears to be joined in progress.

There are no such problems with Euforia and Ultimo Guerrero not wanting to fight. Big guys dominate, Ultimo Guerrero makes a flipping armdrag comeback (?) and the former tag champs land planchas. Ultimo & Atlantis makes it back to the ring, ran the other team together, tie up their arms, and pin them with bridging cradle without much problems.

Match 7: Atlantis & Último Guerrero vs Dragón Rojo Jr. & Niebla Roja in a National Parejas Increible tournament semifinal match
Arena Mexico, 03/08/2013

Winner: Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero
Match Time: 5:17
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Tirantes.

UG & Atlantis struggle more as a team to start here, getting rammed into each other outside and then taken out by stereo tope con giros. All four guys are slow coming back in. Rudos come back with Ultimo Guerrero's rana block superbomb on Dragon Rojo (a man know for his 'ranas.) This starts off everyone getting a pin broken up. Niebla Roja has no problem fighting Ultimo Guerrero. Niebla Roja goes for a moonsault, UG hits him and goes for the Guerrero Special, Dragon Rojo breaks that up and pulls UG off for an electric chair slam while Roja planchas Atlantis for his own pin. Two counts. Rojos miss clotheslines, and run into the Atlantida for the finish.

Atlantis offers Ultimo Guerrero a handshake, and Televisa goes to replays instead of showing if UG will accept. Match graphic for next week.

Backstage promo with Ultimo Guerrero and Atlantis has Atlantis saying they'll win the tournament first and then they'll settle their issues.

Rayo de Jalisco interview to end it.
