Match 1: Dinastía vs Mini Psicosis for the AAA World Minis Championship
Lienzo Charro Ignacio León Ornelas, Irapuato, 02/18/2013

Winner: Dinastía
Match Time: 8:45
Rating: good
Notes: Drago and Nicho Psicosis are seconds. Nicho seems more fired up about this match than his mini. On the other hand, Nicho is crazy. Referee is Piero.

Rules discussion between all four, and some discussion between seconds and their wrestlers before this can actually get started. Quick reversals before Psicosis lands a kick and a forearm. Dinastía kicks, Psicosis catches it and spins him, Dinastía high kick, Psicosis ducks, Dinastía sweep and Psicosis is down. Running shooting star press for one. Psicosis stands Dinastía up, armdrags him down, Dinastía fights from the ground and armdrags Psicosis away. Seconds argue, and Dinastía runs into an armdrag. Psicosis with punches to the face. Dinastía headlock, switches side slowly, they both seem lost for a second here, Dinastía takes the headlock, Psicosis reverses , Psicosis hammerlock, Dinastía rolls around on the mat to get out, can't get out, Dinastía jumping snap mare into a headscissors. They could've used an edit in there. Dinastía off the ropes, sort of into a headscissors that doesn't quite come off right sends Psicosis out. Dinastía points runs, Brillo Dorado onto Psicosis. Second change on their guys, and Dinastía and Nicho have words. Dinastía poses, goes to dive, and Nicho trips him from outside. Drago is unhappy. Nicho gets up on the apron and argues with Piero, even coming in to distract Piero from the action. Mini Psicosis loads up Dinastía for a martinete, Drago missile dropkicks Mini Psicosis to break it up. Nicho tries to attack, but Drago pulls him into a sort of tarantula, and Dinastía adds a dropkick. Nicho rolls free, but Dinastía takes him out with a tornillo Asai. Back to the minis. Dinastía avoids corner to corner, does some flips and pulls of a corner springboard cutter. Dinastía is just as hurt as Mini Psicosis for whatever reason, but that pause allows Drago to run thru the ring to dropkick Nicho on the other side, and hit him with a chair a few times. Psicosis begs off and still gets hit again. Drago lets Psicosis up, and they brawl on the floor. Piero comes out to break this up and order them to the back, which again leaves the match with no referee. Dinastía is annoyed, but goes back to work as Piero returns. Big backdrop, Dinastía to the apron and to the top rope. 450 splash, no one home, Dinastía rolls thru, Psicosis kicks him. They end up on the buckles again, Psicosis shoves Dinastía off and missile dropkicks him, but opts to pin with just one knee. Dinastía powerslams Psicosis, springboard moonsault just gets there one two NO. Psicosis kicks Drago, sit down powerslam (?) and Psicosis goes up. Top rope senton con giro misses. Dinastía turns Psicosis on the mat, springboards to the top rope, double moonsault kind of misses long. It's close enough that Sombra right just hold on for the pin, but Dinastía instead pulls Psicosis to the opposite corner, goes up again, and lands a twisting half corkscrew twist splash. Dinastía holds the leg, one two three. New champ.

Dinastía gets the belt put on. Mini Psicosis congratulates Dinastía.

Backstage, an excited Andres talks to an excited Dinastía, who says he's very happy with the win and thanks the fans – first rookie of the year in the world, now this.

Noti AAA: Texano's open challenge is recapped. Voiced over highlights of him beating Argenis, then Zumbi, before being interrupted by Blue Demon Jr. Joaquin Roldan makes the match for Rey de Reyes.

Match 2: Drago, Fénix, Joe Lider vs Daga, Halloween, Psicosis
Lienzo Charro Ignacio León Ornelas, Irapuato, 02/18/2013

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 8:29
Rating: ok
Notes: Daga & Halloween have their belts. Hijo del Tirantes is with them, and they have him do the low rider walk. Fenix makes belt motions. Joe Lider has his tag team title belt. All he needs is a partner.

Crowd shot right at the start. Maybe a clip to start, but Daga and Lider are circling and doing mat wrestling. Daga knocks Lider down, but runs into a belly suplex. Daga gets up and reverses it to a powerslam, so it's going to be that way. Avoidance spots and tags. Halloween and Daga re next, Daga putting on a leg lock just so Nicho Psicosis can throw a chair at him. Rudos take over, Psicosis using a chair on Drago a few times. Halloween spears Fenix and everyone does the lowrider strut. Lider's crotched on the post, but the técnicos do the same to Daga when tries a dropkick, then runs across the corner to take out the rudos with a double tope con giro. Técnicos fight back, including Drago getting in chair shots (and Daga umping straight up to take a dropkick.) Daga and Lider go a bit forth, with Lider catching a Daga plancha and lifting him into a death valley driver, then taunting the rudos. Psicosis comes in, so Drago tags himself in. Psicosis and Drago's first big spot goes wrong, Psicosis pounds Drago the mat a bit, then Drago whips him into the chair. Drago boosts of Psicosis to headscissors Daga out, and kicks Halloween to the floor. Spinning DDT on Psicosis. Fenix in, and he and Halloween seems off at the start but get it together for a swing kick off the apron bit. Fenix spins around from one set of ropes to another to dropkick Psicosis, then pulls of a great looking tornillo dive that Psicosis doesn't catch at all. Daga dropkick Lider and Michinoku Drivers him, then goes up, but Lider pops up and sort of double underhook DDTs him off the ropes. Lider covers for the win.

Rey de Reyes Group 2 lineup - Mesías, Heavy Metal, La Parka, Parka Negra, Octagon, Pentagon Jr. - video of them while Mesías promotes the match and date.

Upcoming lineup.

Match 3: El Mesías & LA Park vs Chessman & Parka Negra
Lienzo Charro Ignacio León Ornelas, Irapuato, 02/18/2013

Winner: rudos
Match Time: 11:03
Rating: ok
Notes: Hijo de Tirantes is ref here too. LA Park breaks out some chair dancing. Prematch talking is clipped.

LA Park and Parka Negra start in – at least as far as we can see – and La Park struts until Parka Negra starts going after him with high kicks. Andres says LA Park is not a técnico, not a rudo, not a extremo, and then gets distracted by Parka Negra doing the strut – or there' a clip here. Park 2 on 1 offense with occasional Tirantes beating , and oddly placed crowd shots. LA Park do the double pose and LA Park goes for the strut together, but Tirantes bails out of that. Mesías sequence includes a bit where he puts an armbar on Parka Negra, Chessman kicks it to break it up, and Mesías just puts the armbar back on repeatedly. Parka Negra comes back on his own with a jumping enziguri, but takes more Mesías offense. Mesías gets the better of Parka Negra and Chessman for a while, including end of match like near falls despite it not feeling like the end of a match otherwise. Crowd is very loud for everyone, but chanting Mesías here. AAA announcers hype the Blue Demon vs Texano title match, which hasn't been made when this is taped, despite them usually acting like this is live commentary. Rudos briefly take over on LA Park, LA Park makes his own comeback after a while, and they exchange near falls. Crowd is into both técnicos, and the rudos never have them in prolonged danger. La Parka dives off the apron to knee Parka Negra, and Mesías throws Chessman out and puts his shoulder into a tope. LA Park drags Parka Negra in and pins him (?), but gets kicked off into Tirantes. Elbow driver by Park and another cover, but Hijo de Tirantes is too hurt and too busy grabbing his nose to count at a decent speed. La Park argues, then Mesías pulls Hijo del Tirantes out to argue with him. That's not really helping. LA Park gets up to argue, Parka Negra hit him from behind, and knocks down by Mesías and Hijo de Tirantes. Chessman fouls LA Park, Tirantes back in and counting three.

Next week: Demon & Texano.
