Match 1: Hijo del Fantasma ©, Rey Cometa, Tritón vs Namajague, Sangre Azteca, Shigeo Okumura ©
Arena Mexico, 12/07/2012

  1. rudos

  2. rudos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 16:50
Rating: good
Notes: Cometa wears his mask to the ring. Mima is not with Japanese. Monito is with the técnicos. Referee is Pompin.

1: Fantasma and sangre start on the mat, which means standing back mounted submissions. Nice man Namajague simply wants a handshake from Cometa, Cometa shoves it away. Namajague shoves him away, and Cometa shoves him down. Sound has come unsynchronized with the action – the announcers seem to be fine, but the ring noise is seconds off. Cometa headscissors Namajague, but Namajague comes back with a clothesline and stomps, then hiptosses Cometa all the way to the stage. The sound being messed off really exposes the camera shaking, or at least it does to me. Triton headscissors Namajague out, Okumura gets Triton, Fantasma storms in but Namajague helps trip him from outside. Fantasma sat in the corner for Estacas Aztecas. Triton in, and he and Sangre struggle with whatever they're supposed to be doing here. Sangre finally just grabs a Triton in the corner and talks to him for a second, and they work it out. Corner whip sets up an Okumura quebradora, and the Japanese lift Triton up for another Sangre low blow dropkick. That one leads to a pin. Namajague and Sangre celebrate like they've won, but that's not the captain - and apparently it's part of the plan, because Cometa dropkicks them out from behind. No matter, Okumura kicks and brainbusters Cometa, then leaves him more than halfway across the ring for a Namajague frogsplash. He connects, and that was a long way to go.

Tecnicos try to protect Monito in between falls.

2: JCR tries to call Namajague the best foreigner in CMLL this year, but JCC votes for Tama Tonga – he's champion, after all. Rudos knock around Cometa and prevent him from tagging for a while. Sangre gives Cometa a weird superplex, where he's the one standing on the top rope and Cometa is standing on the middle rope. I guess it worked, I don't know why. Sangre continues the strange moves with a tornado neck snap over the top rope on Triton. Sangre finally misses a dropkick on Fantasma and takes the monkey flip cross ring. Namajague is able to kick Fantasma, but is hurt so much by a Cometa chop. Namajague get in his double chop, but Cometa gives him a two quebradoras, pulls him in the splits, and kicks him in the head. Rudos kick Cometa out, Triton springboard dropkicks Okumura out, Fantasma tope con giros him. Triton dumps Sangre in the corner, Cometa 450 splash, that's one pin. Triton dumps Namajague too, and adds his moonsault tornillo to Namajague's legs for the other pin.

Tecnicos hold Sangre for a Monito dropkick after the fall.

3: Triton versus Namajague gets rough quick. The first headscissors goes okay, but then Namajague can't quite get hung up in the ropes on the next bit, and they're both lost at to what to do. Triton slaps Namajague and whips him the other way, where Namajague just grabs the ropes and says no. Triton is confused as to what to do for a second, and Cometa tries to buy him some time by hitting Namajague, but Namajague still is stuck watching as Triton walks up the corner, and walks a couple steps on the ropes or a springboard headscissors to send him out. Sangre kicks Triton out, takes a Cometa tornillo armdrags. Flipping run is almost a collision. Cometa 'ranas Sangre for two, Okumura breaks that up. Fantasma shoulderblocks Okumura, then does a very John Cena like double bicep pose. Okumura avoids a superkick, points to his head, and dropkicks him. More comedy, then Fantasma clotheslines Okumura out. Fantasma goes up for a dive, but Sangre trips him up. Triton kicks and carefully suplexes Sangre, but Namajague breaks that pin up. Namajague looks around, then looks back to see Fantasma running – Phantom lariat. Namajague and Fantasma out, Cometa out with a tornillo onto Namajague, Triton flipped to the apron and dropkicked off, then Triton follows with a springboard splash to the floor. Fantasma a 'rana on Okumura, Okumura reverses, one two NO. Okumura furiously argues the count. Corner whip, Fantasma kips up and out, inside cradle with a trunks pull, one two three. That was totally cheating. Okumura complains, gets nowhere

Match 2: Diamante Azul, Máscara Dorada, Rush © vs Averno ©, Ephesto, Mephisto
Arena Mexico, 12/07/2012

  1. Avernos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 14:45
Rating: ok
Notes: Avernos enter together. Mephisto is back to being Bane. Ref is Babe Richard.

1: Talk of Azul & Rush's success in Japan includes Bucanero mentioning he's going back next month. Mephisto and Dorada are briefly in, but the match really gets going when Averno walks by Azul to spit at Rush. Rush goes crazy, as always, and the rudos use that start an early beatdown. Averno goes after Azul's mask while Ephesto runs interference. Rush is brought back in for a two man powerbomb. Mephisto picking up the pin.

2: Rudos continue in control, and tease unmasking Azul. Averno unties Dorada's mask as well. Rush tries to fight everyone, gets beat down by everyone, including everyone taking a turn sentoning him. Rudos triple boot Rush out and do their rolling pose, oblivious to Azul coming in the ring behind them. Azul is doing well until Ephesto out chops him. Rudos barely stop from hitting each other and still kick Azul out, but Mascara Dorada springboard headscissors Averno out anyway. Remaining rudos whip him into a Brillo Dorada onto Averno. Team Rage finish up.

3: Azul has trouble press slamming Ephesto and turns it into a spinebuster instead. The rest of his usual showcase goes fine. Rush is next with his stuff. Averno runs from Mascara Dorada for no particular reason (which is sometimes reason enough for him), but is back in time to take headscissors. A springboard backfires on Dorada, but he recovers to armdrag Mephisto out and set up a triple tope by the técnicos. Replay. Dorada tries to springboard onto Averno, but Averno powerbombs him, then lifts him for another powerbomb into the corner, one two NO. Not sure why that's not the finish. Dorada rope bounce casadora cradle is broke up by the other rudos, who immediately leave, then immediately return. Triple faceslam, tecnicos break up the pin and get in some extra shots. That draw the rudos back for shots as well. Dorada gets Averno with another casadora cradle in here, help by the rudos messing up, but only for two. Rudos lay out the técnicos and try and miss on the triple headbutt spot. Tecnicos with cradles – and an Northern Lights suplex by Rush – all for two. Crow dis not into it, though some of that is just Rush booing. Azul and Rush kick out Ephesto and Mephisto and tope con giro on them, Azul using the ropes. Dorada springboard flip ranita on Averno, three count.

Replays, and the usual show ending highlights is very truncated.
