AAA on Televisa #1075 (12/15/2012)
Recapped: 12/20/12

Guerra de Titanes hype video opens it up.

Repeat of the vignettes of someone watching Samurai and the evil Parka. Didn't figure that would mean there was two people.

Sound seems cranked way up to make it seem much louder than it might have otehrwise.

Match 1: La Parka, Octagón, Octagon Jr. vs Parka Negra, Pentagon Jr., Silver King
Auditorio Benito Juarez, Zapopan, Jalisco, 12/02/2012

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 10:22
Rating: okay
Notes: La Parka's music jumps abruptly, or they clipped his entrance badly. Octagons enter together. Octagon still has his evil Octagon music, though he's back to the face music. They are listing twitter handles. Which is going to make it funny when Octagon Jr. stays Samuray del Sol. Silver King is accompanied by Konnan. I prefer Ultimo Gladiador, but that's me. Pepe Casas trails in behind all of them. Pentagon Jr. has no Twitter account, so sad. No video either. Konnan didn't want to tip off the video crew. Parka Negra does have a slightly special entrance, and a skull on a stick. Maybe he got it Arkangel's garage sale?

Silver dropkicks Octagon Jr. right away. I want to call him Samuray, it would make life easier.. Rudos rush the técnicos and get the better of the brawl. Silver chair shot to Octagon Jr.'s back 45 seconds in. Pentagon does the same to Octagon. Silver teas throwing Octagón Jr.. Into the crowd, and just rams him into the light tower instead. Parka Negra bring him back in for a suplex, and rams him into a chair. Parka is punched a bit, but sends Parka Negra into the chair. Silver grabs it , but swing at hits Pentagon Jr. by mistake, and Octagon this him with the chair. Silver get sup, just in time for an a Octagon springboard 'rana. Octagon, looking plump, wanders around the outside looking for more people to hit with the chair. Octagon Jr.. and Pentagon Jr. in, Octagon Jr.'s flipping run met with a chop. Octagon Jr. roll over the back armdrag, Octagon tosses up in the hair but missing on his headscissors – Pentagon Jr. takes a phantom bump anyway. Octagon pulls Octagón JR out and blocks everything Silver tries before armdragging him away. Same thing for Pentagon Junior. Both Parks in now, Parka Bueno wanting to punch and Parka Negra deciding to leave. Silver has own version of the Wagner Touch that's just two fingers. Técnicos immediately mock it. Parka gets 1 on 2 offense for a while, until Parka Negra sneaks in behind him. Parka slowly realizes it, eventually gets chopped, but gets back to his usual técnico run. Parka Negra and Pentagon Jr. have an argument after one friendly fire spot, which Parka tries to make worse. Parka running the ropes comedy, then he can't quite clothesline Parka Negra on a clothesline. Parka backs up all the way and gets him over on the second try. DDT of a sort for Silver, and a bow to the crowd. Juniors back in, Octagon Jr. with a jumping DDT into a neckbreaker. Dropkick sends Pentagon Jr. out, and Octagon Jr. with an outside the ropes springboard front flip into a 'rana. Parka clothesline Parka Negra while jogging around. Parka off the ropes, leaping at the ropes, and being knocked down by a Parka Negra chair shot. Rudos turn their attention to Octagon and beat him for a bit. Dropkick sends him out. Octagon Jr. Back in. parka ask for a handshake, and a hug – then headbutts Octagon Jr. boost dropkick sends Parka Negra out. Silver catches Octagón Jr. with a drapping DDT, but can only get two. Wow, an actual pinfall attempt. Silver miss a corner splash and somehow gets stuck on the middle rope. Octagón jr. catches his shoulder,s and tires an inverted 'rana, though Silver almost lands on his head instead. That's more than enough for the fall.

Octagon & Parka congratulates Octagon Jr. on his performance and his first win. Octagon Jr. says it was great to team with them. La Parka is very concerned about this Parka Negra and wants to take care of it himself.

Texano/Terrible hype video package.

Match 2: El Mesías vs Texano Jr. for the AAA World Heavyweight Championship
Auditorio Benito Juarez, Zapopan, Jalisco, 12/02/2012

Winner: Texano
Match Time: 14:12
Rating: good
Notes: Texano is shown on a horse backstage, but walks to the ring with Silver King. Mesías has a wacky mask and fire twirlers. Octagon Jr. is his second. One of the regular AAA fans jumps the rails to hug Mesías. She's at all the shows, she must've know that was against the rules, why would she still do such a thing, it's a mystery. Piero is ref.

Lockup leads to a quick roll up by Mesías, and Texano out to a hammerlock. Mesías escapes to a half crab, Texano escapes to a cradle for nothing and they go back to the standoff. Another sequence, another faceoff. Crowd shot of people chanting Mesías. Exchange of face slaps leads to chest chops. Texano shoulderblocks Mesías, Mesías pulls him down by the hair. Mesías off the ropes, can't quite get the crucifix, Texano falls backwards to make it work anyway and is pinned for two. Rudo up quicker, kicking Mesías. Chop by Texano. Corner whip, corner clothesline. Texano in no hurry. Corner whip, corner charge, no one home, Texano takes the knee bump out, Mesías runs, for a dive, Texano meets him on the apron with a forearm. Texano waits there, waiting for Mesías to get back up, and tries to ram him into the buckle, but Mesías blocked it and Texano goes instead. Let's start his over again – Mesías runs, Mesías big tope, throwing his shoulder into it. Piero immediately starts counting them out. Both guys are slow up, but probably quicker than usual because Piero isn't messing around with this countout. Texano dropkick misses, Mesías clothesline connects. Mesías off the ropes, Silver King very obviously trips him up. He pulls part of the carpet padding on the floor too, and slides Texano a chair. Unprotected chair shot to the head. We should probably keep a count. Referee missed it, which is probably a plot point that'll be ignored. Texano gets the bullrope and whips Mesías too, Piero again missing it while taking to Octagón Jr. Piero does spot it and stops it from happening again. Texano distracts Piero so Silver can get in a few shots. This goes ion a while, so Silver King just yanks Texano out and throws him into the barricade. Texano follows out to punch and drags Mesías around himself. I assume Mesías is bleeding, but he's in shadow a lot. Texano whips him with the bullwhip as Octagon Jr. continues to argue with Piero. Texano kills more time outside. Yep, Mesías is bleeding. Texano chokes him with the rope and throws him back in. Corner whip, reversed, Mesías chant, and Octagon Jr. trips up Texano. Texano gets up right away and argues with Piero about it., but Piero missed that too. Octagón just sneaks around, slides Mesías the chair, and while Piero is talking to Silver, we've got unprotected chair shot #2 on Texano. Texano goes out to complain. Texano acts concussed and goes to the outside. Mesías chases him around for chops and punches. They don't show Texano close up for a while, but he's bleeding and bleeding fast. (There might have been a clip here). Mesías drags Texano all the way to the stage to slam him here. Texano's head isn't just red, his chest is pretty red too, even from far away. Break.

Both battle to to the top rope, and Mesías wins the battle with a top rope faceslam, though I'm not sure how he didn't get it just as bad. Mesías craws on top, one two NO. Mesías forearms Texano, puts him on the top rope and goes for a top rope 'rana, but Texano pulls him back up and folds him up with a superbomb. One two th-NO. Big cheer from the crowd, who sounds very into Mesías. Texano to the corner, teasing going up and then taking quite a while to do it. Cameras can't bother to switch to keep him in the picture for a few seconds. Silver tries to stop Texano, can't, but Mesías can with a punch and the pulls him off with a super front cracker one two NO. Texnano pulls himself up using Piero, Mesías pear, Texano leapfrogs, and Mesías spears Piero good. Mesias puts his head and on his head, and Texano takes advantage to backcracker Mesías. Visual three count, but no ref. Texano lets go, hits Piero, and yells at him for not counting – which allows Mesías to pull the same trick and backcracker him one two Silver pulls out Piero. Piero is down and hurt on the outside. Silver yells at him. Octagon Jr. races over, goes for a slingshot to the outside, Silver sidesteps, Octagon lands on his feet, Silver kicks him and throws him in the crowd, then buries him under a chair. Back inside, Mesías faceslams Texano and heads up. Top rope splash eats knees. Silver has Piero standing back up. Texano sit powerbomb pick up sit down powerbomb. No ref! Ref! Piero one two three.

Both guys collapse. Octagon Jr. and Piero are down too, so Silver is the only one alive to react, and he pulls Mesías off Texano help him stand up. Silver is so fired up, and Texano celebrates when he comes too. Octagon Jr. is very sad. The doctor wants to check on Piero, but Piero wants to pull him back to raise Texano's arm. Silver asks for the belt too. Piero helped to his feet, asks the crowd, crowd tells him not to do it, but he raises Texano's arm. Doctor has moved onto checking Mesías. You get the sense something is supposed to happen here, because Texano and Silver wander around – and because AAA never sticks with a post match any length unless something is supposed to happen – but all that happens is Octagon Jr. helps Mesías to the back while the Reinas de Reinas walk to the ring with the belt. Texano snatches it away from them and Silver and who I must assume is a GDL lucha commissioner help him put it on.
