AAA Fusion #7 (11/21/2012)
Recapped: 11/24/2012

Announcers welcome us to the show with graphics for the two matches.

Bernado interviews Texano Jr., who says the new blood of AAA will beat Mesías and win the title at Guerra de Titanes.

Hype video for this match. Jack does his talking in English. Daga is thrilled just to be in AAA in Perros. Psicosis is loyal to the shirt. Jack is in Mexico because the best high flyers are in Mexico and he wants to prove he's the best. Lider says AAA has done much for his career, for six years. Psicosis says all alliances are off when it comes to championships; he'll turn on Daga before Daga turns on him. Jack says the smallest error could mean defeat, and he'll try his best to win.

Match 1: Joe Lider vs Psicosis vs Jack Evans vs Daga in the AAA FUSION tournament
Deportivo Reynosa, 11/18/2012

  1. Joe Lider double pumphandle powerbomb (7:48)

  2. Joe Lider splash Jack Evans (9:56)
  3. Daga super Canadian Destroyer (15:49)

Winner: Daga
Match Time: 15:49
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Psicosis has individual music and his stapler. Maybe he has a report to turn in. Referee is Piero. Jack seems to be the crowd favorite.

Everyone puts everyone else in wristlock to start, then Jack kicks everyone. A Jack/Psicosis goes wrong, Jack tries it a second time and changes his mind, then Jack tries it a third and the boost dropkick half works. Jack switches to a jumping spin kick and sends Psicosis out, only to be crunched by the other two kicks. Psicosis promptly powerbombs Jack onto the barrier. This also limits the ring to two. Daga knees Lider for a two count. Lider comes back with a kick to the head and jumping neckbreaker, but stand around and Psicosis returns to top rope wheel kick him. Psicosis goes for the stapler, but stops to fix his mask – he actually pulls it up off his mouth before stapling Lideri n the chest repeatedly. That was dumb, and dumber still is Lider just going back on offense five seconds later. Crowd is not into the match, who'd figure. Lider and Psicosis do some stuff, including Lider unmasking Psicosis and the announcers try to explain that this is a no disqualification match. Daga and Lider have a contest to slap each other hard in the face, and the match immediately improves. Daga wins, and dropkicks Lider out as his prize. Jack kicks Daga around and out, then waits for Psicosis to get close enough to the ropes for kicks. Corner whip – no, normal whip, reverse, Psicosis puts his head down too soon, Jack kicks him, off the ropes again, and into Psicosis punch. Jack flips off Psicosis to the apron, then springboards back in with double knees to Psicosis' face. Daga dives into break up the resulting pin. Daga dropkick to the knee, sliding dropkick to the head. Corner whip, reversed, Jack handspring back elbow in the corner, then another – but Daga catches Jack and lifts him on his shoulders, then off for a super backcracker. That was nice. Psicosis claps for his partner and offers a handshake – short clothesline. Well, Psicosis did say he'd turn first. Lider in, he and Psicosis move in slower motion, Lider flipped to the apron, hangs in the ropes and Psicosis dropkicks him in the head. Psicosis whips the other two in the same corner, dropkicks Daga low, whips him back the other way and clotheslines him there. Psicosis stands there and clotheslines Daga, then sets up Jack on top. Daga rushes over and lifts Psicosis on his shoulders, and Jack knocks him off with a super blockbuster. Lider comes in with everyone down, dropkick Daga out, hits Jack and grabs Psicosis from behind - double pumphandle powerbomb, Psicosis is out.

Daga returns to kick everyone, then manages to one up Dark Dragon – Gori Stretch on Jack, campana on Joe Lider! Crowd approves, but Daga can't keep it together long enough to get the submission. Jack goes to works with kicks again, then northern lights suplexes, chained, into a - no, Dag breaks free from whatever was next and kicks Jack a few times. High kick, Jack ducks under, enziguri causes Daga to stagger around. Both guys hurting. Jack off the ropes, , slow motion charge kick knocks Daga down. Jack stands up on top of Daga for his moonsault Daga, Lider grabs him for the inverted Death Valley Driver Vally Driver, Jack breaks free and kicks Lider own. Lider sure looks at his hand a lot when he's in pain. Jack quebrada senton one two Daga breaks it up and there's no good reason for that. Daga and Jack reversals end with a Daga kick and sit down powerbomb, but Daga stops covering and poses. Lider has gotten to the middle rope in the meantime, and manges the missile dropkick splash combo. The splash lands well on Jack. One two three. Lider seems surprised he got three. Psicosis comes back in to argue – what, I don't know.

Joe Lider and Daga for the spot. Announcers are as confused about Psicosis as the rest of us, but it does distracted Joe Lider. Backstage, Psicosis rants about Lider. Break!

Lider and Daga exchange forearms to the face. Daga runs for a move, but Lider kicks him down first. Lider double underhook – no, can't get him up, try again, double underhook messy slam, one two NO. Corner whip, Lider charges in, Daga elbows him away, Daga kicks him away, exploder suplex. Daga grabs Lider from behind, German suplex,., Lider won't stay pinned, but Piero won't stop counting. Two count. Lider's arm was so off the mat, it hit Piero, but Piero was totally fine in counting that! Lider should protest. Daga running corner kick to the face. Lider looks punch drunk, but catches the next charge and throws him face first into the turnbuckle. Lider crushes Daga face with a kick for two. One two NO. Forearm fight again, double clothesline spot, both down. Daga up first, dazed but climbing the buckles. Lider trips him up, but is equally out of it. Lider running jumping kick might have hit. Daga moves his head a lot and Lider falls down, so it's tough to tell. Lider tries to suplex Daga off, Daga fights back, smashes Lider's head into the buckle, and flips off super Canadian Destroyer. Lider got killed on that one. Three count and then some.

Replays. Joe Lider is strechered out in a neckbrace.

Match 2: El Mesías & Samuray del Sol vs Silver King & Texano Jr.
Deportivo Reynosa, 11/18/2012

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 15:47
Rating: eh/okay
Notes: Mesías finds the backstage camera, uses it as a catchphrase opportunity. Texano jumps Mesías as he comes in, so Mesías takes care of Samuray. Referee is Copetes.

Silver gives Samuray a sort of crucifix bomb while Texano sticks more with stomps. Changuito works over Samuray good. General beatings take place. Rudos miss a corner charge in 3 minutes, and Samuray headscissors to start the comeback. Mesías quebradoras everyone but the mini, then poses to boos. Mesías grabs the monkey, and Texano comes in to allow the monkey to go free. Texano slides out at the first chance, Mesías chases, and Silver King attacks him from behind. Mesías makes it back in anyway and tags Samuray. Samuray sequence with Silver ends with a moonsault to the floor to armdrag Silver King, and Texano dropkicking him as he celebrates. Mesías and punches Texano a bit, then catches him in a DDT. Texano escapes a casita, knocks Mesías down with a chop, but runs into a powerslam. Silver King doesn't break up the pin, but steps in to ask Copetes to stop counting. Silver seems to get more offense in, though mostly just strikes. Crowd starts entertaining themselves and whistling during their exchange. It it slower than usual but not that bad. They're just not that into it. Mesías spinebusters Silver, and Texano breaks up the pin to take back over. Samuray can't knock down Texano with shoulderblocks, so throws him down with a sort of half sling blade. The wheel kick that follows look a lot better, and the headscissors into an armdrag works. Mesías follows with a big tope to take out Texano. Samuray and Silver hit each other for a long moment, quieting the crowd own. Samuray gets in a kick to the head, then a headscissors into a sunset flip. Another head kick, another two count. Shiranu variant, and Texano breaks up the pin this time. Mesías and Texano slowly brawl with Silver oddly getting in the way, and then everyone seems lost for a long moment. Tecnicos try a boost 'rana, Texano reverses Samuray's rana into a sit down powerbomb while Silver runs into a powerslam, and both pins happen simultaneous for three.

Copetes rules Texano and Mesías must keep fighting, which would make sense in CMLL. To be fair, I can't think of another time with simultaneous eliminations on opposite teams, so this doesn't seem to contradict anything (though it really feels like it should be a draw.) Texano punches first, whip just stats evasion, Texano kicks Mesías, Texano tease the sit down powerbomb, then does it – for two. Mesías escape a corner charge, kicks Texano twice, then drops him with a cutter that takes two steps to set up. Two count. Mesías tires for something – powerbomb? - Texano breaks free, pumphandle lift into a shoulder powerslam. One two NO. Silver King thought that was it. Crowd back into it. Texano grabs Mesías, Mesías gets in a punch, backcracker, top rope splash, and Silver King is back into break up the pin with a legdrop. Consejo both hit Mesías with the bullwhip, but Copetes gets in and rise Mesías arm for the DQ. Crowd, which was booing Mesías earlier, does cheer him here.

Mesías makes his own one man comeback, though Samuray adds a springboard dropkick the camera seems to miss.
