Match 1: Aereo, Astral, Shockercito vs Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Warrior
Arena Mexico, 08/21/2012

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 16:02
Rating: eh
Notes: Attendance looks minimal. Referee is Bestia Negra.

1: Pequeño Nitro & Aereo start, mostly hitting people in the back. Aereo is changing his look, with a Bam Bam like hair spike. Olímpico insists on a handshake before starting with Astral, and actually gets it, well more of a handslap. Armdrags and face offs for those two. Warrior, who's been walking around in the background for the first two, dropkicks and slaps around Shockercito hard. Warrior does a backflip out of the corner on a missed charge, and then stops Shockercito on the run just so he can dance. Goofball mode. Shockercito gets flipped to the apron and tries to come back in with a springboard armdrag, but slips and falls to the mat. Warrior picks up Shockercito and immediately destroys him with the corner powerbomb. No pin, but one on Astral after the other two rudos take care of him. Olímpico drops Aereo on his face before beating him. Announcers seem far more entertained by the in between fall crowd shots.

2: Rudos continue in charge, though Nitro is the only one interested in doing much. Backcracker for Shockercito, slam and double stomp for Astral. Warrior clotheslines Astral in the corner multiple times before freaking out. Warrior powerslams Aereo into the corner. Shockercito evades Warrior on a corner charge and pulls him by his, then runs into a reverse monkey flip into a crazy out of control headscissors on Nitro. Crowd is very entertained. Shockercito immediately gets the submission, then it's a race to get the other fall. Aero gets an armbar on Olímpico first, but the ref is looking at the pinfall instead.

3: Shockercito armdrags Nitro around nicely. Warrior hits the corner and walks back comically on Astral, setting up a jump up the ropes armdrag and an a quebradora. Olímpico beats Aereo in a chop fight via back elbow, but Aereo comes back with an armdrag, and walk up the ropes armdrag. Aereo stops to pose, and Olímpico clotheslines him in the back of the head. Aereo flips Olímpico to the apron on a corner whip, Olímpico slips him away, and the cameras almost miss Aereo leaping to the outside to armdrag Olímpico to the floor. Nitro dropkicks Aereo of the apron, but double team with Warrior predictable backfires. Rudos rallies to set up Warrior's legdrop to the floor on Astral. Nitro comes back in, and submits Shockercito for the win. Warrior, either not paying attention or doing his own thing, tries to hit Shockercito after the match but Shockercito just bails on him.

Match 2: Pegasso, Rey Cometa ©, Triton vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Nosferatu, Puma King ©
Arena Mexico, 08/21/2012

  1. técnicos

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 8:38
Rating: good, especially given the time.
Notes: Joined with Puma's entrance, because of course Cometa is waiting to say hello on the ramp. Cometa slaps Puma as as soon as he steps off the stairs, but then runs into a drop toe hold onto the steps. Puma grabs Cometa by the head and throws him halfway down the ramp. That was an impressive toss. As Puma superkicks Cometa, the guys in the ring decide to stop watching and start fighting. Referee is Bestia Negra.

1: Puma sets up Cometa on the top rope and goes right after his mask. Cometa pulled down, whipped into the corner, and superkicked on the rebound. Everyone else has migrated back to their corner. Clothesline flips Cometa. Puma takes Cometa back to the ramp and whips him in the ropes, but runs into a hiptoss in. Cometa up top, flying headscissors in, and Puma goes out. Cometa waits no time – beautiful tornillo. Pegasso finishes Arkangel in one move, and Triton drops Nosferatu in position for his tornillo moonsault (which is just a little bit off.) That fall turned quick.

2: Rudos trap Cometa in their corner for Puma to kick and stomp. Whip, and backdrop. Arkangel helps out with a spinebuster, and Puma goes for the mask. Puma actually pulls it almost off as Cometa gets up, but Cometa covers up and keeps it on as he snap mares Puma. Cometa rips up Puma's mask. Cometa listens to warnings from the ref and backs off, but Puma responds by taking him down and punching him with both hands. Whip, Cometa handsprings over a drop town, Puma slides out, Cometa follows with him, slap fight, and Cometa wins with a kick and running Puma into the barricade! Full speed there. Arkangel flapjack Pegasso once, but Pegasso escapes with an armdrag the second time. Handspring armdrag, headscissors, out goes Arkangel. Puma slide out after him, and pulls of the apron headstand headscissors for good measure. Triton and Nosferatu shove each other, the bigger man winning. Rope avoidance sends with Triton jumping up and being speared down. Another whip, Nosferatu puts his head down too soon, and Triton kicks him in the head. Whip, reversed, Triton flipping run, superkick, walk up the ropes, walking the ropes themselves, and headscissors off. Nosferatu rolls out, almost tripping the out the ref in the process. Cometa in, but Puma wants no part of him, and Arkangel blocks off Cometa's path as he tries to get him. Cometa finally talks Puma into coming in, then send him right out with a springboard reverse spin headscissors. Puma to the floor, Cometa diving headscissors, Puma catches him, holds him up and smashes him into the barricade! Triton headscissors Arkangel out, and run up the ropes for a triple bounce moonsault to the floor. Nosferatu runs, rolls to the ropes, and pescados Triton. Better idea than Nosferatu climbing the ropes. Pegasso, despite some a noticeable problem with his right leg, still does the Pegasso dive to the floor. Captains back in, Puma trip, casita, one two Cometa's foot on the ropes. Ref was slow to count, Puma should argue. Cometa rope bounce armdrag blocked, Cometa tries a casadora, Puma blocks that too and turns it nicely into a reinera! Cometa slips out inside cradle one two NO. I though that was over both ways. Cometa dope toe hold, Puma king casita one two three.

Cometa talks (AGAIN!) and says he's beat him for a second time in the center of the ring. Cometa is better, and he wants a mask vs mask match. Nosferatu and Arkangel advise Puma before he responds. Puma tells the crowd to shut up while the king is talking. Puma says Rey won today, but Puma is younger and more talented. In front of these ugly people, Cometa accepts the match. Cometa this him immediately, and takes him down for more punches. Cometa goes for the mask, and rips it off. Cometa poses with Puma while the rudos check on Puma. Somehow, they've gotten a second Puma mask? Cometa stomps Puma on the head and leaves.

Match 3: Blue Panther, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Black Warrior, Namajague, Shigeo Okumura
Arena Mexico, 08/21/2012

  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 15:13
Rating: ok
Notes: Namajague has lost his jacket/shirt. Warrior is not dying his hair. All six guys are staring at each other in the ring before the match starts, but settle down into their corner. Referee is Bestia Negra.

1: Maya and Namajague battle fiercely over armbars before switching to other holds. Namajague puts on a monster crab, but Maya breaks free for his own crab. Namajague slips free, grabs the legs, and gets sucked into a headscissors. Delta & Okumura start even, move to Delta headscissors and quebradoras. Warrior rushes in and back elbows Delta, but misses a corner splash allowing Delta to tag in Panther. Quick pinfall attempts back and forth, then Warrior and Panther gets crewed up on a clothesline spot. Warrior eventually just grabs Panther in a fujiwara for the sudden submission.

2:Warrior stretches Panther's arm in between falls. Namajague takes his time double slapping Panther in the corner,a and Panther goes crazy on him, tripping him up and slapping him on the ground until the other rudos make the save. Warrior beats up Panther ands tops him from making a tag, the holds him in a cross armbreaker. Técnicos loudly demonstratively argue with the referee. Corner whip, Warrior charges in, Panther moves, but Okumura kicks him down before he can make a tag, and Maya and Delta continue losing their minds. Namajague almost lets Panther make a tag, but pulls him back. After all that, Panther just stumbles back into his corner after being rammed into the opposite one. Maya tags in fired up, but his kicks is caught, and Warrior casually trip him up and legdrops him. Double underhook backbreaker. Okumura comes in and tries to bully Maya with slaps, but Maya fights back with more of his own. Namajague rushes into kick Maya form behind, but the técnico still manges to tag in Delta. Namajague comes in again, setting up a wheelbarrow bulldog. Namajague covers, but Panther breaks it up and starts chopping Namajague. Warrior makes the save and slams Panther neat the ropes for his slingshot elbow drop. One – no, Warrior lets up. Whip, reversed, Warrior slides out and points to his head, other rudos knock Panther down. Whip, Panther slides out, Warrior kicks him, chases, and somehow runs him into the post. Other four in, técnicos wrap it up oddly. Delta blocks a casadora cradle from Namajague while Maya uses a Solar submission

Delta and Panther stomp Namajague down on the outside for no obvious reason.

3: Tecnicos are still angry. Panther demands to face Warrior, but Warrior just comes in and out. Namajague attacks panther with punches again, but Maya and Delta attack him with punches in to respond. Everyone just beat up on Namajague today. Tecnicos attempt the Guerrero flying sit, really need some practice with it before they try it again. Namajague does a jumping roll to his corner for no reason. I don't know what's going on. Namajague does not tag anyone, and just waits for Delta to settle down so they continue. Namajague shoulderblocks him, Delta is supposed to kip to his feet, can't, has to do again, Namajague has to stop and watch instead of doing whatever, and then also watches Delta dropkick him. Whip, reversed, Delta flips over backdrop, kick is caught, Delta throws the legs down so Namajague does the splits, Namajague can't get up, and Delta runs and kicks him in the head. Delta put on submission, Okumura breaks it up and yells at ref. Maya in and missing running topes. Okumura chops him in the chest. Whip, quick reversed, reversed again, Maya slides under a leapfrog and spinning armdrags Okumura. Okumura tries for another shoulderblock, but Maya absorbs and pulls him down by the hair. Spinning armdrag sends Okumura out, Maya runs (and Alexis drops down for the dive), Mala slide out (and almost lands on Alexis.) Whip, reversed, and Okumura goes into the barricade. Warrior and Panther back in, Warrior kicks Panther into the ropes (sort of), whip, Warrior drop down, Panther elbows drop. Warrior up and slapping. Warrior clothesline ducked and turned into a Panther short clothesline, but the Japanese are in and stomp Panther before he can cover. Rudos celebrate, Panther knocks Namajague out, Warrior inside cradles Panther, Panther reverses to a submission, and the rudo break it up again. Referee warns them. Long crowd shot. Panther attacks Okumura, and Warrior accidentally kicks Namajague to the floor. Warrior misses a corner charge and takes the knee bump out the other way. Panther shrugs, runs for a dive, but the Japanese pull him out and chop him away. Tecnicos in and dropkicking the Japanese as they get up on the apron. High five, run, topes, by the younger técnicos. Warrior and Panther back in, Panther running around like a crazy person. Warrior kicks Panther, charge in, Panther tosses him head first into the corner. Panther charges in, Warrior kicks him way, middle rope legdrop to the back of the head one two NO. Panther charges, Warrior trips him up, Warrior 619.. Panther stumbles back, Warrior goes for the inside cradle again one two NO. Panther rallies. Warrior grabs Panther, Panther pulls his arms together for the cruz nipona , Warrior gives.

C3 runs the bit with Karla previewing this match again.

Match 4: Atlantis ©, Diamante, Titán vs Mr. Niebla ©, Niebla Roja, Pólvora
Arena Mexico, 08/21/2012

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:52
Rating: ok
Notes: Diamante is using Smells Like Teen Spirit now. Less rapping about Diamante in that one, which makes it easy to keep if he's switching names. Niebla Roja's music sings about the American Dream, but I guess not in a positive fashion. Zac is with Niebla. Referee is Tirantes.

1: First pair is Niebla Roja/Diamante start, but Niebla does something while the camera is showing the fans, and Atlantis stalks him on the floor. Titan and Pólvora, Pólvora unhappy with Titan for jumping from the the top rope right in front of him. Titan is quick, Pólvora tries to slow it down. Titan puts on a standing surfboard, but Niebla breaks it with a fight and starts a rudo beatdown. Niebla goes after Atlantis with more slaps and Pólvora yanks around Titan by the mask on the outside. while Roja and Diamante stay in to keep the match going. Holding and hitting, with Tirantes being lenient about letting guys coming in without a tag. Pólvora and Niebla Roja give Diamante a double Torture Rack drop, which Tirantes eventually gets around to counting as a pinfall. Niebla slams Atlantis and starts to head up, Atlantis rolls out of position, Pólvora grabs him and gives a Michinoku driver to put him back in a good spot, and Niebla lands hits his top rope splash for three.

2: Pólvora crotches Titan on the post, which is apparently not a DQ in this match (or Tirantes just missed it.) Corner whip set up a Niebla Roja superkick and a Niebla slap. Atlantis ducks a double clotheslines and smack Niebla off the apron to start the comeback. Younger tecnicos dropkick the other two out and wipe them out with topes. Captains in, Atlantis quickly get Niebla in the spitting mecedora for the win. That was a really quick fall.

3: Titan dropkick Pólvora into the barricade on the outside. Zacarias dances on the apron for no reason. Well, because he's Zacarias. Titan and Pólvora end up in together. Pólvora off the ropes, over, sliding out, and Titan chases him around. Pólvora walks off. Niebla Roja checks on his friend, then goes into face Diamante. Diamante takes all the offense, finishing with the five jump armdrag. Diamante walks after Niebla Roja on the outside, Niebla Roja almost tumbling over the rail to get away from him. Titan and Pólvora in again, and this time Pólvora decides to chop fight. It's slower and more dramatic than most of these. Off the ropes evasion leads to a Titan's handwalk (Pólvora appalled) and back flip headscissors. Titan rolls over the ropes to the floor, ducks a clothesline, and headscissors Pólvora out there. Everyone looks at those two on the outside before Atlantis and Niebla figure they should go. They don't know, Titan could be up to more wacky stuff. Off the ropes evasion ends with Niebla running into big monkey flips. Quebradora, dropkick out tumbles Mr. Niebla. Atlantis climbs up top, and lands plancha to the floor very carefully. Diamante takes care of Niebla Roja with a couple quebradoras, slams him near the corners, moves him about a bit, and nearly lands knees first on his springboard 450 splash.

Diamante springboards into Pólvora counter dropkick, but Diamante rolls out rather than be covered, and Titan springboard dropkicks him. Whip, reversed, Titan 'rana, Pólvora rolls thru one two NO. Titan crawls tot he corner, and Pólvora follows him for a slap. Corner whip, reversed, Titan charges in, Pólvora flips him to the apron, Titan gives him his stunner over the ropes, and the headstand rope flip moonsault one two three.

No post match promo. Announcers wrap up.
