Match 1: Molotov vs Hijo del Signo in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 08/07/2012

Winner: Hijo del Signo
Match Time: 6:16 – clock says 6:40
Rating: eh
Notes: Tuesday show! Ref is Pompin.

Molotov, wearing an unusual white outfit, waves to the fans before locking up. Mat wrestling is dominated by Molotov holding Signo down on the mat in an armbar. Molotov stands them up, turns Signo around, and monkey flips him away. Lockup, Signo snap mare, Molotov lands on his feet and armdrags Signo. Springboard armdrag sends Signo to the ropes. Signo manages to flip Molotov out, but Molotov just slides in and armdrags Signo again. Signo is a clothesline and gets headscissors into the ropes, then slide out. Molotov runs, and topes Signo. This match has gone very poorly for Signo. Both back in, and Signo finally gets in a short clothesline. Stomps. Whip, back elbow, Molotov rolled to his feet and clotheslined over. Whip, reversed, Molotov drops him Signo with a quebradora. Molotov misses a clothesline, but still gets in a rolling back elbow for two. Suplex, reversed into a small package one two NO. Molotov off the ropes, into a 'rana, reversed by Signo, one two no. Signo chops Molotov and sends him cross ring, but Molotov reverses it and clotheslines him. Molotov sets Signo on the top rope, climbs up, and pull him off with a 'rana one two NO. Signo springboard casadora kind of works, but Molotov rolls thru and on top for two. Molotov smacks Signo in the corner and talks something over. Corner whip, Molotov tossed up, and spinebusters by Signo. Signo puts on his usual submission for the win.

Match 2: Fuego, Rey Cometa, Triton vs Puma King, Raziel, Sangre Azteca
Arena Mexico, 08/10/2012

  1. técnicos

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:59
Rating: good
Notes: Fuego's jacket makes me wonder why we his team with Stuka hasn't been named Los Bomberos all this time. Triton has a new mask, but holds his not too dissimilar previous mask just because CMLL thinks people are easily confused. Rey Cometa still can't get an entrance video! Rey Cometa, obviously angry about this and nothing else, confronts Puma on the ramp. Puma tries to back down, Cometa charges and misses a clothesline, Puma flips him with a clothesline. They're the captains, great. Referee is Edgar!

1: Everyone else checks out to their corners as Puma throws Cometa back in. Whip, Puma shoulderblocks Cometa out. This day has not to gone well for Cometa. Triton checks on his partner while Puma acknowledges the Puma chant. Fuego and Raziel pick it up. Fuego quickly gets in armdrag, but Raziel holds him off with an armbar for a bit. Fuego jumping snap mares out of a hammerlock before some quick falls and another armdrag. Raziel headlock and running the ropes leads to a low monkey flip by Fuego. Fuego back bridges under a clothesline and dances. Raziel fails to clothesline him. Over the back armdrag, out goes Raziel. Fuego happily handsprings. Triton flips in to face Puma. Puma runs past Triton and knocks Cometa off the apron. Triton tags out so Cometa can come in, but Puma goes back to the ramp to avoid. Sangre helpfully attacks Cometa from behind, and Puma throws Cometa up the aisle. Sangre and Triton pick up up with body part twisting. No one gets a hold for long, though Sangre gets more of them. Bow and arrow leaves Sangre pinned for two. Sangre forces Triton down on a double wristlock, Triton powers his way up and jumping snap mares Sangre away. Off the rope evasion, Triton flipping run, Sangre clothesline misses, Triton back with a headscissors. Sangre clothesline misses, but his wheel kick connects. Cometa flies in with a headscissors on Sangre. Sangre slides near the ropes, but stops and says in. Cometa chops and whips him into the corner, reverse by Sangre, Sangre dives in but no one home, Cometa waits for him to come out, but Puma tags in and flattens Cometa with a superkick. Puma grabs at the mask. Edgar yells at him right away. Chop sends Puma into the ropes. Whip, reversed, Puma over, under, Cometa handspring helicopter headscissors look great. Cometa runs, tornillo! Triton in with a plancha on Sangre, but Raziel pulls him down from outside. Sangre knocks down Fuego and runs – low blow dropkick on Triton. Sangre turns, Fuego powerslams him, but Raziel breaks it up. Fuego gives Raziel a head fake, and then connects on the quebradora – which actually knocks Raziel over! Three count. Nearby, Triton slams Sangre and heads up – tornillo moonsault, one two three.

2: Rudos have managed to get Cometa down on the ramp, but Puma accidentally kicks Raziel instead of his enemy. No problem, Puma kicks Cometa too, and powerbombs him on the ramp. Sangre takes care of Fuego in the ring, while Triton is stuck on the apron. Raziel holds Cometa for a Puma superkick, then rudos bring Cometa back in the ring. Puma sits Cometa on the top rope and unties his mask. Puma's very quick at it, and pulls the mask foreward. Cometa holds on, even as Puma drops him in Three of Woe and gives him a running kick. Cometa's mask does come off, but either Edgar misses it, or rules it's Cometa's fault as Cometa was fixing it. Cometa can't get it back on while laying on the mat, so he rolls out to figure it out. Rudos work over Triton in the meantime. Announcers still think Triton is welterweight champion. He might be, who knows. Backdrop for Triton, then he's tripped in the corner for Sangre's low blow dropkick. Edgar is a lot more permissive about double teams. Fuego argues for a DQ he's never getting. Rudos dump Triton on the apron for the stamping powerbombs and then sets up for another Sangre Azteca low blow dropkick. Sangre should just get it over and join the Tuareg. It could be like Pólvora, where he doesn't actually team with his partners most of the time, just wears the same gear. Fuego springboard dropkick Sangre out and runs for a dive, but Raziel cuts him off with a kick from the apron and Fuego tumbles in too. Cometa jump rolls back in, and boost headscissors Raziel out. Puma in, demanding he and Cometa go one on one. That doesn't second like Puma King! Puma swings, misses, Cometa sends him into the ropes, Puma flips over a backdrop, and Cometa slaps him to the ropes. Cometa of the ropes, Puma slides out past him, Cometa stops, goes to the apron, tries a diving headscissors, Puma blocks it as if it was a powerbomb, but swings Cometa into the barricade! Amapola freaks out. Puma crotches Cometa into the post too, pretty hard, and Edgar decides that's enough for a foul.

Sangre and Raziel can't believe Edgar called a DQ and argue with him violently. Puma just brings Cometa back in, and rips off his mask. Edgar tries to stop him from stomping, but Puma just shoves him down. Fuego covers up his partner, but the rudos toss him out too. Replay of the finish; this was an extra hard corner post fouling, so the DQ doesn't seem so unjustified. JCR is outvoted by his fellow announcers.

Match 3: Felino, Mr. Niebla ©, Negro Casas vs Mr. Águila, Psicosis, Volador Jr. ©
Arena Mexico, 08/10/2012

  1. Peste Negra

  2. Invasors
  3. Peste Negra

Winner: Peste Negra
Match Time: 8:31
Rating: okay to good
Notes: Mije is with Psicosis. Mr. Aguila has changed his music again. He seems to be wearing a Joker look tonight – oh, because Volador is Batman. Batman barely makes it down the stairs before Mr. Niebla strikes him with a garbage can. Negro and Felino slowly follow out, but get control of the right. Referee is Tigre Hispano

1: Felino smacks Aguila with a trash can and throws him in a the others brawl in the background. Mije runs from Zacarias, who is too busy being Zacarias to notice. Niebla beats Volador around the ring while Peste Negro takes care of the other two in it. Niebla brings Volador in to whip him with his own utility belt. That's just mean. Niebla puts Volador on the top rope and rips his mask, then pulls him down for some stomps. Whip, Niebla spinebuster, half crab, Volador is done and so is this is fall. For whatever it's worth, the winning team is listed as “La Peste Negra”, but highlighted in the yellow técnico color. Niebla's half crab is for the times he just doesn't feel like turning you all the way over for the Nieblina.

2: Pesta Negra still in control, but occasionally using tags. Casas brothers go after Psicosis' knee for no reason. Volador comes in to help, but Niebla immediately cuts him off with a dropkick and rips up Volador's gear. That looked like an expensive outfit. It's half off now. Volador tags Aguila in, which is a neat trick since Psicosis was legal last time we saw. Psicosis is gone, so he must've rolled out at some point. Rudos beat up Aguila instead, then brutalized Volador. Volador tries to point for support, and the Invasors wave for support from the fans. Corner whip, Niebla whipped in – to Volador's superkick. Casas rolls out of the ring into the camera man (and the director doesn't change angles, so we're lost for a moment.) Volador sends Niebla out, bounces off the ropes – and collapses? I guess the middle rope gave a bit more than expected, and Volador's head ended up on the other side of the top rope, causing it to bang into his head. At any rate, Volador is down like he's been shot. The other two Invasors rush in and finish the Casas brothers. Guessing we missed a Volador dive. Cuije and Zacarias fight a little bit – that seem off too – while the Invasors check on Volador. They don't seem to be too concerned, though Volador really hasn't moved much. After replays, the Invasors seem more concerned; Aguila pulls Volador's mask away from his nose and mouth to help him breath. He might have just had the air knocked out of him, that always sucks. Niebla yanks Volador out of the ring anyway, and throws him into the barricade as they go to break.

3: Felino stands over Aguila (down for some reason) to start the fall, but Volador comes back in to be slapped down by Niebla, and they start the fall. Crowd is turned down a lot , but seem like they're behind Volador. Volador gets back up, Niebla off the ropes, dropkick misses, Niebla hangs in the ropes, Volador guillotine legdrop, and after the mask! Niebla's mask is well ripped up. Volador stops to rile up the crowd, who now seem to be chanting louder of Niebla. Volador off the ropes, Niebla hits him but Volador ignores it, flipping run, Niebla slaps him down this time for sure. Niebla dance, spit is – caught! Good catch there. Volador dropkicks Niebla out anyway, urns, and lands the tope con giro to wipe them both out. Psicosis and Negro slap, Negro gets in a heel kick and climbs up, Psicosis just shoves him over to the floor, then lands his own tope. Aguila gets Felino with a pretty looking headscissors, then kind of overshoots him on a slingshot tope con giro. Mije and Zacarias slap fight, Zacarias shoves Mije away and shoulderblocks him out! Zacarias to the apron, flying clothesline knocks Mije over! Volador and Niebla back in. Crowd lout. Volador armdrags Niebla, armdrags Niebla, ducks a clothesline, and superkicks Niebla in a corner. Zacarias runs in, but Volador kicks him in the midsection and hits him with his Batman belt. Volador charges Niebla, Niebla tosses him up, then upper cut fouls him. Ref missed it looking outside. Niebla celebrates with a dance, and covers for three.

Peste Negra dance party includes a light display. Volador gets the microphone and says Mr. Niebla is a good luchador, but a clown, and Volador wants a match with him – mask vs mask! Niebla tells Volador he's good for a young luchador, but he's not on the level of a King Smelly. Niebla will give him a singles match, but tells him to prepare well, or he won't want that mask match. Niebla attacks Volador and takes his mask. Invasors kind of let it happen, but are very sad about it.

Highlights, and that's the show.
