Match 1: Estrellita, Goya Kong, Marcela © vs Princesa Blanca ©, Princesa Sugheit, Tiffany
Arena Mexico, 07/13/2012

  1. rudas

  2. rudas

Winner: rudas (2-1)
Match Time: 11:09
Rating: eh
Notes: Referee is Tigre Hispano. Goya has anew outfit that looks pretty much like her old outfit but with no mask. Tiffany is in her Catwoman gear. Ladies de Polanca have a group video? That's great, but there's like eight other groups that need one if they're handing them out. Rudas jump the técnicas.

1: Rudas take turns slapping around the tecnicas. Goya get to face off with Blanca, but is (again) too busy smiling and waving to do anything before the rudas kick her. Double suplex by the Ladies, and a Sugheit slingshot senton. Rudas kick around the other técnicas. Sugheit suplex into a Blanca gutbuster holding her for a Sugheit kick to the face is at least a good series of moves. More kicks. Since this showed the open too, this is a long feeling segment. Tiffany drops Marcela wit a face first powerbomb, then tags in both her partners for more general kicks. Tecnicas whipped into the corner, and Goya rammed into both of them. Tecnicas kick Goya, who sits down instead of rolling out. She learned that from her dead! Tiffany immediate misses a corner charge, and Marcela lands her apron silla. Rudas snap kick Estrellita, but Goya clotheslines them both down. Estrellita does the multiple splash bit, then just gets out of the way for Goya's splash. That's the pin.

Announcers say hello.

CMLL Cartela: Sunday

2: Sugheit still steals the card, still get booed. Tiffany gets in just enough offense so Marcela can come back with her kneelifts and springboard knee drop. Tiffany seems to be handling Estrellita fine herself, but brings in Sugheit so Estrellita can get the two on one spots. This is a good idea, Estrellita botches a spot when it goes back to just her and Sugheit in. Goya gets Blanca with a spinning armdrag and elbow drop on a drop down. Blanca somehow flips her to the apron on a corner charge and forearms her to the floor. Seems unlikely. Blanca lands the springboard plancha to the floor with a problem. Estrellita kicks Sugheit out, but dives in to Sugheit's kick. Marcela missile dropkicks Tiffany and yanks her around by the her hair instead of going for the pin. Marcela climbs up again, Tiffany punches her and pulls her in an inverted crucifix powerbomb, but no pin. Tiffany throws Marcela round by the hair, and slightly shoves Tiger Hispano again. Choke on the mat, Tigre Hispano gets involved again, Tiffany shoves him down, then elbows him away. Tigre Hispano shoves her down and calls the DQ. That was underwhelming.

Marcela and Tiffany scuffle a bit. Clip to Marcela challenging Tiffany to a hair match. Tiffany makes a big show of laughing. In fact, let me quote her: “Ha Ha Ha Ha.” Tiffany's answer is no.

CMLL Cartela: Tuesday

and hype for next Friday

Match 2: Averno, Mephisto, Volador Jr. © vs La Sombra ©, Marco Corleone, Rush
Arena Mexico, 07/13/2012

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:16
Rating: ok
Notes: Ref is Tirantes. Avernos come out together. They do NOT have a group video. Volador is in the Captain Volador outfit.

1: Sombra and Volador start with super quick mirror spots. Rush poses before facing off with Mephisto. Chop fight won by Rush dropkick, and Rush sends Mephisto rolling out after a jumping elbow smash. Averno runs in and takes the belly suplex and dropkick. Mephisto faces off with Marco's chest. Marco and Mephisto play games with Marco's height, Mephisto going all the way up to the top rope to out reach him, only for Marco to still high five them. Mephisto then just kicks Marco. Averno pitches in when Marco start to dance, but, that goes badly for Averno. Back to the first two. Volador kicks Sombra, but runs into a headscissors. Sombra runs for more, Avernos grab him and drop him in front of Volador, and Volador spikes Sombra with an inverted 'rana. Rudos hold of the others, and Volador gets the pin.

2: While the rudos are dominating, they go to a clip of Volador vs Devitt from March to hype up that title match. Back live, corner charges on Sombra end with Volador dropping the técnico with a superkick. Rush takes the dropkick off the apron. Springboard dropkick and sentons all around on Marco, while Tirantes dramatically counts in the background. The rudos never do a series of sentons like that, except if they're trying for a DQ and so that's what it is. This time, the announcers know the rule enough to know the rudos broke it up, though the rudo announcers are very displeased and the fans more so.

3: Rudos resume attacking the técnicos as soon as they're done arguing the last fall. Triple powerbomb on Sombra. Rudos manage to go their corner after that, and Sombra soon headscissors Averno. Sombra ducks out, Marco comes in, no one wants to fight him at first, then Mephisto and Averno attack him at the same time. Rudos get it together enough to set up a Volador boost dropkick on Marco, which goes without problem. Rush comes in and fights everyone, but they slap him back and boot him out. Triple pose, interrupts by Sombra headscissoring Volador, ducking a double clothesline, and tope con giros him. Marco lands Aero Italiano on the rudos, Rush dropkicks them out, and tope con giros both (mostly just getting Averno). Marco sets up, and lands his plancha on Mephisto. Rush feigns a headbutt at the camera for getting to close. Sombra and Volador in. Dueling flipping runs, Sombra clotheslines misses, Volador superkick, corner charge, Volador spiral – no, Sombra shoves him off to the apron. Volador kicks him away and rests on the turnbuckle. He climbs up, Sombra this him and climbs up with him, both balance, Sombra off the top rope headscissors, one two three.

Announcers wrap up, and show the Devitt win one more time.
