Match 1: Fuego vs Virus in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 07/06/2012

Winner: Virus
Match Time: 6:11
Rating: okay
Notes: joined with them already going. Referee is Pompin.

Battle on the mat almost leaves Fuego trapped in a cradle, but he escapes at three. Virus arts running the ropes, both evade and avoid for a while before Vfuego gets in a sprongboard armdrag. Virus flips him to the apron, misses a charge, and Fuego cruses him with ahead to the chest tope. Replays.

Fuego is flipped to the apron again, but fights off Virus and missile dropkicks him for two. Virus clotheslines Fuego a couple times and covers him for two. Fuego thrown into the ropes, Virus clothesline, Fuego back bends under it, and Virus reacts stronger to that than anyone has in four years. Fuego casadora is shoved off, Fuego lands on the ropes, Virus running sit, Fuego moves, and Virus hits the rope sand falls to the mat. Fuego covers for two. Fuego northern lights suplex (!) one two NO. Fuego out to eh apron, rope flip moonsault one two NO. Fuego pulling out the reserves here. Fuego whips Virus, spinebuster, pin, one two NO. Fuego quebrada, Virus moves, Fuego lands on his feet, Virus take shim down, leg lock, Fuego turns into a small package, one two NO. Virus cradle is half missed by the crowd, then Pompin doesn’t seem like he wants to count it. Two count anyway. Fuego goes for a headscissors, Virus shoves him off, takedown, and roll around into a campana. Fuego – gives!

Announcers say hello. Announcers are not much interested in the Japanese girls; everyone else gets video but that group.

CMLL Cartela: Sunday – Volador vs Mr. Niebla

Match 2: Dark Angel, Estrellita, Marcela ©  vs Hikaru, Lady Apache ©, Tsukasa
Arena Mexico, 07/06/2012

  1. rudas

  2. tecnicas
  3. técnicas

Winner: técnicas (2-1)
Match Time: 14:17
Rating: good
Notes: Estrellita is fighting Japanese people, so she's dresses as Sailor Moon. You just have to think like Estrellita. Actually, no, don't do that. Lady Apache brought her belt to the ring. Referee is Babe Richard

1: Marcela holds Tsukasa in a rolling armbar, a different way to go. Tsukasa comes back with a flippign armdrag, Marcela armdrags her back and gets in a bridging pin before zero pin exchange. Announcers are not even trying to put names to the Japanese women. To be fair, I didn't have them matched up right until I went and checked...but I went and checked. It was not challenging. Hikaru, the taller one of the two, has to deal with Estrellita. Estrellita dropkick her oddly off the bat, then dropkicks her in the side better. Not a moving target. Corner whip, high running kick but Estrellita. Corner whip, Hikaru breaks it, grabs Estrellita by the hair, and spanks her a couple times. Estrellita thrown in the corner, Hikaru punches a bit, and then just stops. She seems to be enjoying herself. Leo is the first person to actually name Hikaru. I would've lost that bet. Hikaru powerslam one two NO. Whip, Estrellita back with a clothesline. Estrellita up top, missile dropkick connects. Fake dive dance by Estrellita. Dark Angel and Lady Apache in last, Apache brushing Apache with a mistimed kick. Exchange of shoulderblocks get them nowhere. Dark Angle puts up the stops in and dances. Apache is not impressed and just waits for her to do something. Shot of the Japanese instead of whatever it is that Lady Apache does. Dark Angel with a run up the corner armdrag and a reverse neckbreaker hold, but the other rudas break it up. Other tecnicas miss dropkick, and the Japanese send them out. Tsukasa top rope plancha Marcela, while Hikaru hits Estrellita with flying knee off the apron. Lady Apache dropkick Dark Angle int the knee, rolling Tapatia – of evil! - gets the submission on the third roll. Referee counts out the others.

2: Tsukasa armbars Marcela and hands her off to Lady Apache. Snap mare, springboard elbow drop, kick in the general area of the face. Apache dropkick Estrellita as she comes in then kicks her in the face. Hikaru elbows Estrellita's arm and throws her around by her hair. Marcela's kicked as she charges in, but survives enough to have a good slaps fight with Hiraku. Apache lifts Hikaru on her shoulders for a spinning DDT on Marcela, which looks nice when it's done but takes a while to set up. Apache corner clotheslines Dark Angel around. Both rudas tagged in, Apache trip, double dropkick by the others. Apache beats up Dark Angel on the outside while Tsukasa kicks around Estrellita. Tags to both her partners again. Corner clothesline, corner dropkick, corner back elbow, both Hikaru and Apache bend over so Tsukasa can run up their back for a dropkick on the Estrellita. That was amusing, rudo fans approve. Apache accidental boosts Tsukasa into a dropkick onto her partner, and the técnicas are all in with headscissors and dropkicks. Dark Angel gets Lady Apache with a problem free tope, and the other técnicas have no problem with their finish. Marcela seems like she always wanted to try a wheelbarrow suplex but couldn't find anyone small enough to do until just this moment.

3: Tsukasa kicks around Marcela, but Marcela comes back with her running kneelifts and the springboard double kneelift. That one looked extra painful. Hikaru kicks Marcela out, survives a quick Dark Angel pin, and gives her a side backbreaker. Dark Angel turns an armbar into a fallaway slam. Lady Apache tries to surprise her with a back suplex, but Dark Angle shifts and fall on top for two. Lady Apache repays by turning a quebradora into her own pin. Dark Angel kicks Lady Apache on to her back in the corner, charge, Apache flips her to the apron and kicks her there. Estrellita planchas Lady Apache, casadora one two NO. Corner whip, reversed, Estrellita walks up the corner and jumps back for an armdrag to end Apache out. Tsukasa steps in, misses a clothesline and takes a boot to the face. Estrellita does her dance, and Tsukasa laughs. I like this woman. Estrellita back with a roll thru dropkick but only for two. Whip, Tsukasa swings around on a sunset flip, but they end up in the ropes. Whip, reversed, Estrellita kicks Tsukasa down, picks her back up, scoop, slam. One two NO. Tsuaksa pulls her self on top one – pause – two three. Tsukasa is happy, slightly confused. Announcers debate the count; it looked like the ref wasn't sure if Estrellita was still down, but they usually restart the count in that situation.

Tsukasa kicks Marcela, then casadora cradles her. One two Marcela revers one two no, Marcela into an anklelock. Tsukasa reaches for the ropes, can't get to them, taps, and then gives up. Close enough.

Hikaru kicks Marcela in the back of the head while she's celebrating, then does a kneelift where he leg passes over Marceka's head for a two count. Snap mare, kick to the back, off the ropes, Marcela dropkick Hikaru out. Tsukasa helps up her partner, and they both go down to a Marcela plancha. Feuding duo in, Lady Apache clothesline turned into reinera. That's it.

Replays. Estrellita dances over Lady Apache's body until she kick her away.

Trip into a headscissors, zero pins, Averno whips Máscara, Máscara reverses, Averno misses a clothesline, Mascara headscissors, face off. Mephisto and Azul face off, and it's even until Azul gets in his super armdrag. Azul tries a leg lock, Mephisto shoves him off into the técnico corner, Sombra tags in and springboard armdrags Mephisto. Other four in, rudos rammed into each other, Mephisto boost dropkick misses everyone, Devil's Wings all around (Averno on Azul!) one two three.

Azul taken down, and dropkicked off the apron. Sombra attacks Volador while the others are celebrating, but Volador gets kin the kick duck superkick combination. Three man powerbomb for Sombra. He's allowed to roll out. Mascara in and kicking, but Mephisto catches it and Volador kicks the leg. Triple boot sends Mascara to the apron. Averno brings him back in to go after his mask. Tree of woe, double dropkick, two count, Averno pulls Mascara up. Whip, reversed, Mascara quebradora. Mephisto quickly kicks Mascara to stop him from getting going. Mephisto in, dropkick misses big time. Mephisto flips Azul to the apron, Azul slaps him away, Averno tries to help with a clothesline, Azul ducks that and press lams him back in. Azul back up a few steps, runs, rolls in over ht top rope, and Averno boosts him into a dropkick on Mephisto. Averno misses a clothesline, Azul drops him with a quebradora and poses. Azul fake dive and pose. Mephisto and Máscara slap until Máscara takes off his shirt, and Mephisto kicks him. Máscara comes back with a roll thru dropkick, gets a two count. Mephisto flips Máscara to the apron, Volador approaches, Mascara superkicks him away, swing kicks Mephisto and flying armdrags him out of the ring. Averno in, Averno headscissored, fast spinning armdrag. Máscara out, Volador sings and misses, Mascara drops him with a quebradora. Sombra and Averno back in. Crowd chants for Sombra, which appalls Averno. Sombra off the ropes, over, flipping run, Mephisto kicks Sombra form behind and walks back out. Averno sets up, swings and hits Mephisto, who had stepped back in to grab Sombra. Corner charge, Sombra kicks Averno away, Sombra flips thru a monkey flip to headscissors Mephisto. Volador rope bounce headscissors send Mephisto out. Rope flip dive fake, Volador charges, Sombra ducks him. Técnicos all in – topes to all the rudos.

Sombra back in and taking off his shirt. Mephisto crawls back in to face him, but Sombra sees Volador on the apron and runs at him instead. Volador ducks the shot and swing kicks him. Volador poses on the ropes. Sombra joins him on the top rope, and pulls him off with a top rope 'rana. Mephisto in to break up the pin before it happens – Rosa DDT. Máscara jumps on Mephisto's shoulders – forward roll into a campana, but Averno breaks that up. Averno screams. Corner charge, Mascara puts Averno on top,s laps him goes up, Averno jabs – looks around, Middle rope Devil's Wings. Sombra to the ropes, in the ropes, Volador dropkicks him out, off the ropes, tope con giro takes out the técnico. Rudos avoid Mascara's dropkick and whip Azul. Mascara flips Azul to the ramp, then boost headscissors Averno out. Another sends Mephisto the other way. Azul lands his ramp tope con giro on Mephisto while Máscara planchas Averno. Back to Volador and Sombra. Volador too buys posing to see Sombra coming, but he ducks out of the corner at the last second. Volador charges the corner, Sombra tosses him up – Volador spiral one two three! That was the sharpest one yet.

Azul and Averno make it back in after the three count, too late to do anything.

Místico vignette to end it.
