Match 1: Pegasso, Rey Cometa ©, Sangre Azteca vs Hooligan, Loco Max, Skándalo ©
Arena Mexico, 04/27/2012

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 16:57
Rating: ok
Notes: Cometa & Pegasso have their usual shared entrance, as do the Tuareg. Skándalo has new shoulder pads. Babe Richard is the referee.

1: Long Sangre Azteca/Loco Max segment ends with Sangre Azteca whiffing on a drop toe hold. Everyone's confused. Skándalo and Cometa seem to miss a spot, Skándalo holds him down in a chinlock, and Cometa comes back with armdrags. Skándalo walks to his corner, though Cometa slaps him as he's leaving. JCC, who's apparently has only been watching the vignettes, starts to talk about Skándalo in En Busca de Un Idolo before JCR corrects him. Pegasso's shoulderblocked out quick, Cometa armdrags out the rudo, but gets yanked off the apron. Pegasso misses a dropkick on the other two, Sangre flips him to safety, Loco misses a charge, Hooligan accidentally dropkicks him, Sangre lands the low blow dropkick, then Hooligan walks over so Sangre can lift him up. Sangre drops him a bit to far away, and so Pegasso 450 splash doesn't look quite right. Reverse powerbomb, casita, Loco's done.

2: Loco and Sangre again. Loco shrugs off the monkey flip and tries to chop Sangre, but Sangre ducks, trips him, backs up, can and charges again for the monkey flip. He's going to get flip, that's for sure. Monkey flip the other way. Hooligan and Cometa do dueling flipping runs, which is amusing out of Hooligan. Cometa lets him get done celebrating before flip armdragging him out. Hooligan out, Cometa with a superkick there, and of course the quebradora. Rudos make tags and work over Pegasso's left arm. The left Pegasso first enough to tag in Sangre, twice, but Sangre's told it's not legal both times. That always looks really bad. Pegasso makes the tag a third time while in the armbar, and still it won't count. I guess he doesn’t have a hand on the buckle, and that's why it doesn’t count, even though he's right there. Loco Max helpfully walks over to a neutral corner to demonstrate and taunt Sangre. Rudos keep working over Pegasso. Pegasso hold in the corner for Pegasso's low blow kick, and then finally is able to roll out. Sangre comes in, and rudos let him get in a shot before they actually do anything. Skándalo chops him down, and lands a low blow elbow drop for the pin. Rey sets himself up for Skandalo's finish.

3: Rudos do the new beatdown with tag thing for a while. Hooligan gets a near fall of a camel clutch/dropkick on Pegasso. Cometa takes the low blow dropkick to the ramp. Sangre fights back against chops, with Loco taking the worst of it. Skándalo corner charge misses, Loco Max dropkick him, then gets up and runs into a Pegasso quebradora. Sangre dropkicks Loco out, Pegasso does the Pegasso dive. Skandalo kicks down Sangre, Cometa planchas him, clothesline misses, Cometa standing moonsault sideslam. Hooligan helpfully leaps into a Sangre dropkick, and we're done.

Dragon Rojo calls Cometa's move “Spanish Fly”. I wonder if the move name had traveled here, obviously it had.

Match 2: Felino, Mr. Niebla ©, Negro Casas vs Atlantis (c), Diamante Azul, Shocker
Arena Mexico, 04/27/2012

  1. Peste Negra

  2. técnicos
  3. Peste Negra

Winner: Peste Negra
Match Time: 13:14
Rating: good
Notes: Shocker should have a second job of livening up everyone else's entrances. Atlantis is handing out – candy? Maybe. Peste Negra, with Zacarias, enter together. Niebla & Zac are in Hell Boy mode. Ref is Maya.

1: Rudos jump the técnicos at the bell. Lots of holding guys over the ropes so Zac can kick. Felino gets Mr. Niebla and Negro Casas to double suplex Dimatne Azul, but they do it way too far away from him to to be able to do his elbow drop, so he just drops down and does a running senton instead. Felino covers, Maya counts, Shocker grabs on to break it up (maybe because he's not expecting that to be the finish?), Maya just ignores it and counts three anyway. Off to a strong start. Niebla spinebusters Shocker, and adds the top rope splash.

2: Zacarias is distracted by the edecan, but Negro pulls him back. Rudos brawl, more out the ring now. Dragon Rojo still does not like Atlantis. Rudos all sticking with individual brawling, though Negro puts Azul in holds as well. Felino throws Atlantis out to stop Niebla from getting to him, an d those two have a brief argument. Huh. Niebla turns to beat up Shocker, and Negro and Felino have a few words. Felino goes over and kicks Shocker in the chest. Rudos concentrate on beating Diamante Azul as he comes in, but when Niebla tries to get in a chop on Azul as Felino is headbutting him, Felino shoves Niebla again. Atlantis brought back in, but Negro shoves Niebla way from getting involved. The brothers whip Niebla to Atlantis, who quebradoras him, and stomps him out of the ring. Lots of punches by the returning técnicos. Revenge brawling. Diamante Azul suplexes Negro Casas, who probably wishes he got the other guys. Fireman's drop, picked up again, legscissors cruz nipona! Diamante even bridges on his head. That is amazing. Shocker takes care of Felino, and Niebla is noticeably on the ramp and not back to help.

3: Diamante Azul drags Negro Casas around in a headlock. Negro rips at Diamante Azul's eyes to gets free, Diamante armbars him, Negro forearms him right in face. Negro manages a corner clothesline, but Azul just fires up. Negro tries hitting him again, Azul fires up. Kicks finally seem to work, but Negro runs right into a kick to the midsection and a military press. Azul's transforming in to Dos Caras Jr., and he goes beyond that by tossing negro into the corner hard. Felino checks out his brother, charges, and takes multiple quebradoras. Clothesline for him. Big slap for Niebla to drop him in the corner, and Azul runs him over with the rolling senton. Zac hits Azul, Zac bops him on the head. Azul picks up Zac over his head, teases throwing him out to the crowd, and drops him for a super gutbuster. Niebla back in for a slap fight, which Negro soon regrets and backs off of. Felino stalls with Shocker, so Negro rushes in and chops fights, then sneaks in a jawbreaker. Kicks, Shocker ducks under and inside cradles him for two. Negro up quick with a heel kick. Headlock, shot off, back with a clothesline, Shocker won't go down and tells Negro to try again. Negro does, and Negro gets hiptosses. Felino makes the save, but Shocker turns it around, gives Felino a stunner, and Negro kicks his brother by mistake. Niebla in and clothesline Shocker. Niebla dance! Spit is = blown, no height on that one. Shocker mange to armdrag him and double chop hit out anyway. Shocker poses, and just ignores Zac hitting him for a while. Zac ducks a kick, Shocker blocks everything and double chops him. Atlantis in, and Negro shoves Zac aside to fight more. Atlantis gets him with an armdrag, runs Felino into him, quebradora for Felino, Niebla slaps Atlantis to stop that. Kiss for Felino. Atlantis shoulderblocks Felino out, Niebla shoulderblocks him, Niebla runs into a monkey flip. Quebradora for him too. Niebla dropkicks Zac out thru the ropes and poses. Azul in, missing a charge on Felino. Felino chops him a couple times, corner whip, reverses, Azul charges, Felino flips him to the apron, Azul cops him back, Felino knees him coming thru ropes, corner springboard con giro connects, though Azul almost holed him up. Negro and Shocker chop, Negro get in the heel kick, casita, shoves off, Negro clothesline caught and turns into the reinera. Negro holds on, as Atlantis planchas Niebla. Atlantis 'rana, shoved off, Niebla fouls but the ref is looking the wrong way. Niebla covers for three, Shocker arguing the count rather than breaking it up. Atlantis is captain, so that's it.
