A bit crazy. Okumura stops titan with a quebradora. And clotheslines him out. Okumura turns, and Titan is there to plancha. Clip. Okumura missile dropkicks Stuka! This TT double dropkick Okumura, but Misterioso and Euforia are in on them. Técnicos whipped into each other, stopping short of running into each, rudos grab them in full nelson, Okumura grabs both sets of legs and everyone turns – double full nelson stretch! Quite great. Tecnicos give.

Euforia and Misterioso throw Titan thru the ropes and back into Okumura, who finishes Titan with a brutal brainbuster. He's done.

Misterioso and Euforia too busy posing to notice. One two three, all tied up.

Dropkicks send Misterioso & Euforia out. Stuka topes his usual rival, but Euforia walks around the ring and up the stage, blocking Triton's path. CMLL Cartela: Tuesday – Peste Negra vs Super Porky, Angel de Oro, La Mascara

Rey Bucanero hypes 01/27 Arena Mexico, which means they're out of commercial breaks. Also, in the clips, they appear to be blurring out the Sherman Williams ad on the video boards. I wonder what happened there.

Match 2: Atlantis ©, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Averno ©, Ephesto, Mephisto
Arena Mexico, 01/13/2012

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:11
Rating: very good
Notes: Reyes del Atlantida all get mini entrances, pose on the stage together, and then walk to the ring separate. Televisa, for whatever reason, decides to try and edit this into three different entrances and does it out of order. Hijos del Averno all enter at once. Both teams wear their belts together. Ref is Babe Richard.

1: Mephisto and Delta don't get far. Averno tells Maya to hold it, and spits at Atlantis. Atlantis grabs his eye, slips down to the floor, and examines his eye some more. Averno appears to have blinded the man! That's some aim on the spit. Averno taunts the tecnicos. Atlantis recovers, rushes in, and Averno retreats at a high rate of speed. Atlantis slide out after him, and Mephisto hammers him in the upper back, starting a rudo attack. Técnicos all stomped down on the outside. Delta gets posted good by Ephesto. Averno brings Atlantis back in for a back elbow. Up on the corner, after the mask. Atlantis goes for the eye hole, Atlantis blocks, Averno forces him down and tries to untie it instead. Atlantis tries to fight back, so Ephesto comes over and helps hold Atlantis. Mephisto obstructs Babe Richard so he can't get involved. Averno gets the mask part way off, but Atlantis hold on. Averno stops to growl at the crowd, then goes right back to trying to unmasked Atlantis. Delta back in, but he's treated to the Mephisto flapjack and kick. The crowd distracts Averno and Ephesto, and Atlantis slips out. Maya back in, rolling by and kicked by Ephesto and Averno. Whip, spinebuster, Maya sat on the apron and dropkicked off. Atlantis kicked hard in the right. Whip, triple boot. Delta immediately in, but neutralized. Devil's Wings, Mephisto covers with one knee. Ephesto finishes Maya, and they're done.

2: Ephesto takes the rebound hiptoss in to a splash on Maya. Averno hold Delta in a testicular claw, which the announcers debate. Rudos hiptoss Delta right to the ramp, which may hurt more. Atlantis decides to climbs the top rope coming in, and goes after Averno, but Ephesto stops him. Mephisto & Ephesto hold Atlantis while Averno screams at the crowd. Atlantis waits for Averno to get close, and spits at him in the face. Averno is shaken. Kick to Atlantis chest for being so rude. Averno poses, and the crowd boos loudly. Atlantis whipped to the corner, Averno misses a corner splash, Mephisto misses a clothesline, and Atlantis smacks Ephesto with a forearm. Mephisto kicks Atlantis, but Delta springboard dropkicks him. Averno misses a senton, Maya sends him out with a spinning armdrag. Atlantis runs – tope to Averno. Other four all at it, Maya finishes Ephesto first, and Delta missing on his moonsault so bad he probably should've gotten up at doing another move. Really over shot him that time. Replay shows the moonsault missing by more, which is why they showed it.

3: Rudos stay away from the técnicos, including Mephisto hiding near the announce desk. Everyone settles down and gets back to the corner. Ephesto and Atlantis in, Ephesto knocking down Atlantis with a chest slap. Ephesto celebrates, and knocks down Atlantis again. Third miss, and Atlantis knocks Ephesto back with a slap. Atlantis shoves Ephesto into Averno (trying to sneak in and sent out), ducks Ephesto’s clothesline, and hiptosses him. Mephisto charges in, Atlantis sends him into Ephesto, Averno charges in, Atlantis sends him into Mephisto. Quebradora for Averno, for Mephisto, for Ephesto! Crowd approves. Delta in, but the rudos are still sorting things out on the outside. Averno in, preferring to look up then at Delta. Chest slap and down goes Delta. Averno is proud of Averno. Averno swings and misses, Delta sets him up near the ropes, and chest slaps him, not too loudly. Off the ropes avoidance, Delta handsprings over Averno (great work by Averno) and Mephisto stops the flipping with a kick to the técnico. Mephisto rushes to pose in the corner. Maya complains. Averno taunts him into coming in, then alerts Babe Richard to keep an eye on Maya. Mephisto slaps down Delta, and Atlantis rushes over on the apron to get Delta going again. Corner whip, Delta runs up the corner, flips over Averno, rolls into a casadora on Mephisto and off into a headscissors on Averno. Mephisto grabs Delta and whips him, Delta slide out and poses, Mephisto points at him and complains to the referee, as if sliding out as vastly illegal. Mephisto gives up and chases, Delta slides right back in, handspring rolling headscissors to the floor, nicely done. Delta back in and posing, but Ephesto kicks him down. Maya in, casadora cradle one NO. Maya off the ropes, 'rana, Ephesto blocks it and the other rudos just kill Maya with a double dropkick to the head. Técnicos break it up before three, which it surely would've been. Everyone pulling themselves back up, non-captains in. Rudos rammed into each other, técnicos put the star on, Atlantis trips up Averno and puts on the tapatía in the middle. Crowd roars. Averno breaks free, waves he doesn’t give up, and is dropped free. He rolls all the way out. Delta springboard – slip, but he manages to get the armdrag anyway. Maya runs, and Delta flips him into a tope con giro to the floor. That was nice too. Ephesto kicks Delta in the corner, but takes the knee bump out. Delta up top – this moonsault connects a lot better, which is a very good thing. Captains back in. crowd split, but more behind the tecnico. Averno misses the clothesline, Atlantida, win!

Atlantis and his problematic microphone challenges Averno to put the world trios titles on the line. Averno decides the técnicos aren't going to make this decision, the fans aren't going to make this decision – he is, and he's not putting the trios titles on the line.
