Match 1: Ángel Azteca, Sensei, Starman © vs Exterminador, Loco Max, Malefico ©
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 09/27/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 14:09
Rating: bleh
Notes: Referees are Samurai and Loco. Sensei has music? Sensei has music. Loco's not even the captain on this show. I guess he's only captain when he's about to lose his hair. Speaking of, he has a lot on this show because we're now three days prior to him losing it to Palacio Negro.

1: Pairs are Angel Azteca/Loco Max, Sensei/Exterminador, Starman/Malefico. Felino knows his Guerrero de la Muerte history. Otherwise, no one can think of much to say about this match. Myself included. Starman and Malefico are not too smooth but pick it up. Sensei comes back in as the local rudos bumble around and take planchas. Técnicos try to splash and cover all rudos, but they're not Super Porky and rudos kick out. Rudos get up and immediately win. Odd to see the actual Gori stretch get a win, instead of being a set up to something else.

2: Rudos hold and hit. Loco Max fakes not doing a corner low blow, then kicks him low anyway. No DQ. Starman flips Loco Max out of the ring on a corner charge, flips Aztec to safety, moves out of Extemidnaor's way, and quebradoras Malefico. Backdrop for Exterminador. Azteca moonsaults Loco Max, Sensei rolls in, técnicos finish the rudos. Sensei takes his time letting go of the hold for whatever reason.

3: Técnico showcase starts with Angel Azteca Jr. (fancy armdrag with Loco Max), Sensei (lots of kicks), and Starman (not in long.) JCR talks about Avernos vs Toscano/Rush/Maximo from Puebla, which would indicate this voice over is not much older than the match. Rudos take control soon after Starman comes in, técnicos runt hem into each other and get 2 counts. Starman topes Malefico, who slowly goes over the seats, but the rudos immediately win anyway.

Match 2: Pólvora vs Fuego for the Mexican National Welterweight Championship
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 09/27/2011

  1. Fuego leglock & armbar (4:55)

  2. Pólvora powerbomb (1:28)
  3. Polvora nudo laguneror (8:21)

Winner: Pólvora
Match Time: 14:44
Rating: ok
Notes: Pólvora wears his belt to the ring. Seconds are Starman and Inquisidor, who just happens to be at the show. Ref is Edgar.

1: Lockup, Pólvora waistlock, Fuego hammerlock, Pólvora deep armdrag and elbowlock. Pólvora ties up Fuego's legs, and pulls his head back. Fuego out to a toe hold, Pólvora back with an wristlock and a cradle for two. Lockup, Fuego with a tirabuzón. Fuego rolls it into a cradle for two. Fuego holds an armbar on the mat, gets up, armdrag Fuego over, and puts on a wristlock. Pólvora half crab, Fuego turns on to his back to get free, rolls Pólvora to his feet, snap mare, rolled into a cradle one two no. Pólvora front facelock on the Mat, Fuego out and pulling. Zero, but Fuego holds onto an armbar, and armdrags Pólvora away. Lockup – no, Pólvora kick, machete slap. Pólvora yells at the crowd. JCR tries the “Pólvora, his brother Inquisidor, and his other brother Vaquero” bit. I'm still not buying it! Fuego sent in the rope, evasion, Fuego backdrop escape armdrag. Pólvora out, Fuego out with an Asai moonsaults. Those have much more impact for him on the outside. Replays. Fuego back in. Pólvora in, winding up, swing, and Fuego dances under the clothesline. Pausing quebrada, Russian legsweep into the leg lock armbar that he's been using. Pólvora give sup.

2: Fuego charges with a dropkick, but whiffs. Pólvora on him with stomps, forcing him down in the corner. Fuego stood up and slapped. Pólvora yells at the crowd. He's been more focused than usual so far, but hasn't been in control a lot. Corner whip, reversed, Pólvora put up the breaks, Fuego charge in, up the ropes and down with a sunset flip, Pólvora runs thru and dropkicks him in the head. Pólvora stops to yell at the crowd. That's three. Fuego grabs Fuego in and double wristlock, which is a bad idea. Fuego leverages up to a headscissors, then dropkick Pólvora from the ring. Fuego charges, Pólvora slides in as he slides out. Pólvora points to his head, spots Fuego on the apron, and gets smashed into the buckle. Fuego up top – top rope 'rana revered into a powerbomb one two three. That ends the brief Fuego chant.

3: Circle, but Pólvora stops to yell at the crowd. Four. Slap fight, dos not go Fuego's way. JCR is promoting 10/21 and 10/28 shows, so either they're really dedicated to keeping up an illusion here or this is way old. Slap fight goes a few round before Pólvora runs off the ropes. Evasions pots add abruptly with a Pólvora spear. He takes Fuego in the ropes with it, and Edgar stops counting at one. Pólvora grabs the referee by the lapels for not counting, but refocuses and gets back to work. Chokeslam on Fuego. One two NO. Pólvora is still made at Edgar for not counting that pin. Fuego gets up behind him, Pólvora may want to watch that. Slap, chokeslam – no, Fuego 'ran, one two NO. This match is not bad, but the crowd is not really making a lot of noise. They'll chant for Fuego occasionally, but not into the spots . Both slow up. Both waiting for something, for a while. Fuego monkey flip sends Pólvora a very short distance into the ropes. Pólvora rolls out, and Fuego surprises the cameramen with a tope con giro to the floor. They weren’t quite ready to shoot that. Fuego tries to get in first, Pólvora pulls him back in and celebrates. Yelling at the crowd five. Fuego knocks Pólvora down and slingshot rolls in. Sunset flip – well, Pólvora just doesn't go with it, so Fuego gets back up, Pólvora tries clothesline him, and Fuego doesn't go. Pólvora does another one (which isn't good and neither was the first) and Fuego goes down this time. A third, Pólvora kind of clothesline him in the neck. Crowd is getting on Pólvora, and Pólvora is yelling back (6). Clothesline misses this time, Fuego spinebuster, elbow drop, and I guess Fuego's going up. Pólvora immediately gets up and dropkicks Fuego in the ropes. Backcracker, off, one two NO. Edgar sure took his time to start counting there. Pólvora gets in his face, and decides Edgar isn’t wroth it. Machete slap to Fuego. Head into the buckle for Fuego. Seven! Corner whip, Pólvora charges, Fuego moves, and Pólvora spear the post. Fuego runs – TOPE. Fuego has a very good tope, but I guess he's never going to break out the Fosbery Flop dive if it's not coming out in this match. Then again, maybe he doesn't trust this particular person. Fuego gets back in and poses on the second rope. Better idea than posing in the center of the ring. Pólvora tries charging him, Fuego rolls out of the way. Slap to the back, chop to the front. Pólvora set up top – NO! Don't do it! - Fuego 'rana actually works, one two NO. Fuego fireman's drop near the ropes, quebrada lands, Edgar goes down to count, but points out Pólvora's shoulder is slightly up. Fuego gives him a look, then just goes for another quebrada – with gets knees! Pólvora cradle, one two NO. Pólvora can't believe it. Pólvora machete slap. EIGHT. Pólvora chokes Fuego on the ropes, but looks at the crowd, distracted by whatever chant. NINE! You can do it, double digits is so close. Whip, toss, Fuego down with a 'rana, Pólvora rolls thru one two NO. Announcers are enjoying the match. Crowd, not as much. They're not hating it, they're just not making noise. TEN! Fuego waits of Pólvora to stop yelling so he can – uh, stand there. Pólvora clothesline gets another back bend (he can do it twice in a match! That’s when you know it’s big!), springboard whatever meet counter dropkick, nudo lagunero, we're done here.
