Match 1: Dark Angel, Lluvia, Luna Mágica vs La Comandante, Princesa Sugheit, Zeuxis
Arena Mexico, 11/22/2011

  1. técnicas

  2. rudas
  3. técnicas

Winner: técnicas (2-1)
Match Time: 12:44
Rating: bad
Notes: Match graphic is going with the “Seuxis” spelling, which doesn't appear to be quite right. Also, the other spelling of Sugheit. But then they're still calling her partner “La Nazi” on commentary. Referee is Pompin.

1: Tecnica showcase start, going Lluvia, Mágica, Dark Angel. Lluvia is upping her difficulty level, with mixed results. Some of her bits with Comandante do not go well. Sugheit kicks her around a bunch until she escapes to tag in Mágica. One weird/bad Mágica armdrag sends out Sugheit, and Zeuxis gets her term to get knocked around. Luna gets her with a really bad headscissors. Luna's been okay or just slightly worse since coming back, but this pretty poor. Luna's cartwheel gets her kicked, but she kicks away Zeuxis from the corner charge and Dark Angle comes in with a plancha. Crowd is exponentially more excited, and her armdrag flip offense takes care of Zeuxis easily. She waves Comandante in, ducks a clothesline, and does her new hair flip dance move. Casadora shrugged of, and the big woman shoves her down. Dark Angel is really thin, surely for the bodybuilding competition. She's not the only one here in it, but it's much more apparent on her. Comandante flapjack goes well, but Zeuxis' dropkick gets her partner. Sugheit kicks Dark Angel out, Comandante grabs her, Zeuxis tries a thru the ropes dive, and sails way high. Dark Angel had moved, and Comandante reaches up to grab her partner, but only succeeds in tilting her downward into the front row seat. That's no fun, but if she has not, I think Zeuxis would've ended up in the third row. Dark Angel calmly walks back over to grab Zeuxis – she's got to be up for Luna's silla. Sugheit and Lluvia in, Lluvia very slow casadora into bodyscissors. Guess Sugheit is captain.

2: Second fall has already started by the time they get around to throwing it too break from the first one. Comandante machete slap to Luna randomly starts the beatdown. Comandante scoops up Zeuxis and spins her around for a kick to Dark Angel's head. Timing almost worked there. They're using the TRT legdrop too. Sugheit drops Luna with a big faceslam. Comandante lift/Zeuxis frontcracker for Lluvia, but the fall keeps on going. Comandante chokeslams Lluvia and heads up – big splash. Zeuxis adds a moonsault and covers, but Pompin is busy checking on Dark Angel. There's the pin for the finish.

3: Beatdown goes thru the fall. Dark Angel crushed in the corner. Double hiptoss and triple kick for Lluvia. And Luna just gets spanked. Dark Angel brought in for kicks. Corner charges to Lluvia. She's whipped towards a Zeuxis missile dropkick, but turns it around and Zeuxis gets Comandante again. Lluvia almost falls on her head on a boost dropkick spot. Dark Angel goes up, a little unsteady, and slips off the top rope when trying to jump for her plancha. Zeuxis and Sugheit take a look, then stomp here, kind of. In the ring, the other técnicos duck a double clothesline from Comandante, and spinebuster here, and finisher her with a double seated armbar. No one's watching, because they're all concerned with Dark Angel.

that Stretched was run out there, and her partners rush to check on her. She's not moving as he's taken away, Lluvia and Luna right behind.

Replay shows Dark Angel's injury from a clearer angle, and it could not look more painful. I can not believe she was back up two days later.

Match 2: Diamante, Sagrado, Sangre Azteca vs Misterioso Jr., Shigeo Okumura, Vangelis
Arena Mexico, 11/22/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:57
Rating: ok
Notes: Ref is Bestia Negra

1: Pairs are Diamante/Vangelis, Sangre/Okumura, Sagrado/Misterioso. Sagrado's headscissors to the floor on Misterioso is the loosest one imaginable. Other técnicos believe they're about to win the fall, but Vangelis rolls out to the way of the Diamante 450 splash and that turns the tide back to the rudos. Sagrado is so confused when he gets back in the ring.

2: Beatdown. General stuff, a lot of holding and hitting. Misterioso tripped up and pulled out by Diamante, Sagrado springboard dropkicks the others, Diamante launches on a tope con giro on Vangelis, and Sangre planchas Okumura. Misterioso back in, but Sagrado immediately gets the Toyota roll for the pin.

Tania, Arkangel, and Arkangel's Students demonstrate moves. A rana, what a unique hold.

3: Sagrado's another person looking severely thin. Diamante showcase, including the five bounce armdrag. Okumura clips him the second time thru, which leads to an off looking sequence with Okumura. The corner running DDT was especially at half speed. The best bit in with Sangre ducking a Misterioso clothesline, causing Misterioso to run right into Sagrado's superkick. Vangelis yanks Sangre and breaks up Sagrado's casita on Okumura. Chop fight leads to a Sagrado sunset flip. Vangelis breaks it, so Diamante gets him with a 'rana instead. Okumura breaks that up, slaps all the técnicos, and gets dropkicked out by all the técnicos. A bit of chaos form there, with Sangre low blow dropkicking Misterioso in one corner, and the other pairs eventually catching up with their finishes. Diamante almost loses his balance on the 450 splash.

Match 3: Máximo, Rush, Super Porky vs Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Texano
Arena Mexico, 11/22/2011

  1. TRT

  2. TRT

Winner: TRT (2-1)
Match Time: 7:36
Rating: good for what it was
Notes: Entrances? For the semimain? Hmm. Texano & Terrible are wearing matching cowboy hats. Bucanero does not get one. Referee is Terror Chino.

1: Pairs are Porky/Bucanero, Máximo/Terrible

Bucanero does all porky's comedy spots, and manages to get armdragged right into a women's lap. Crowd loudly chants for a kiss with Máximo in. He and Texano are barely in. Texano looks very in bodybuilding shape. Crowd loudly boos when Rush flips in. Terrible gets an armbar, and brings in his partners to attack. Bucanero manages to tie Máximo and Porky together somehow, choking each other. Rush gets the held up kicks from everyone, and the legdrop/senton for a pin. Big spinebuster on Porky. Texano and Terrible submit him while Bucanero poses on top.

Super Porky is down on the floor. Security calls for the stretcher even as the rudos continue to beat him and the others.

2: Texano low blow dropkicks Máximo as Porky is stretchered out. Rush is knocked around. Máximo avoids a corner charge to start the comeback and to kiss Bucanero, but Rush misses a missile dropkick and is immediately pinned. Texano beats Máximo cleanly. Heck of a way to go out.

Match 4: Averno vs La Máscara for the NWA World Middleweight Championship
Arena Mexico, 11/22/2011

  1. Averno STF (4:32)

  2. Mascara Toyota Roll (4:07)
  3. Mascara campana (14:26)

Winner: Mascara (2-1)
Match Time: 23:05
Rating: good
Notes: A long delay before La Mascara's turns up. His music is not conductive to extended plays. Brazo de Oro is his corner person. Averno, punctual, wears his belt to the ring. They seem to clip after the introductions. Terrible is his second, possibly missing an interesting conversation Texano is having with the people in charge. Tigre Hispano is referee. No sign of a commissioner.

1: Crowd behind Mascara. Averno is amused. Lockup, Averno backs away. Lockup, Mascara waistlock, Averno out to a hammerlock. Averno chant gets boos. Mascara with a single leg takedown, holding on. Averno to an armbar, then lets go and yanks the far arm. Mascara escapes to a legscissors. Roll to a front facelock is cut off, and Averno gets the armbar back. Mascara with a headlock. Averno back to an armbar, and Mascara armdrags him away. Averno single leg, armdrag, Máscara holds on an armdrag Averno away. Averno trip, but right into a Mascara headscissors. Averno makes a move, Mascara moves to cut him off, and Averno backs off. Tentative reaching for each other. Averno runs the ropes instead. Evasion, Averno dropkick to the knee, and yelling at the crowd. Averno waiting for Máscara to get up, but yelling at him the whole time. Mascara stands, and Averno dropkick him in the knee (or maybe the thigh) again. Máscara down and grabbing his left leg. Kneebreaker. STF. Máscara gives up right away. Averno could not be more proud of himself.

2: Mascara is down on the outside, crawling away from Averno. Averno takes time out of his schedule to saunter over to Brazo de Oro and spit at him. Brazo de Oro is ready to go throw punches, but that would be a DQ. Terrible mocks Oro as Averno tosses Mascara in. Máscara crawls away, begging off, but Averno gleefully grabs the leg. Spinning sit on the bad left knee. Máscara crawling around the mat in pain, and crawling out. Averno out after him. Elbow to the knee. This is really great, going to not be great in five minutes when Mascara's knee is suddenly fine. Averno takes another shot to the knee before coming in. Mascara uses all the time he can on the outside, helped a but by Tiger Hispano not bothering to count. Averno goes out after Mascara gain, hiking his leg a chair and kicking the seat repeatedly. Tigre Hispano threatens to DQ Averno if he doesn’t back off. Averno goes back in the ring to pose. Mascara slowly climbs back in the ring. Terrible hops around, waving a towel to spur on the Averno chant. Averno is about to go back to kicking Máscara when the Mascara chant starts up, distracting him. Double leg, spinning toe hold sit on the knee. Averno let's the crowd know. Dropkick to the knee – misses. Mascara headscissors, off the ropes, Running with a slight limp, and Averno is driven into the front row. Mascara back in first and limping. Averno slips in, waves Mascara in the ropes, and gets caught by a Toyota Roll one two three.

3: Mascara still limping. Give it a couple more minutes, he'll be fine. Averno in no hurry to capitalize. Mascara chant comes in after a bit of begging. Averno off the ropes, limping Máscara can leapfrog, but he's hurting after a hiptoss. Whip, mascara back with a flipping armdrag. Averno is so shocked every time someone does a move to him. Máscara flipped to the apron, and back with a swing kick. Máscara hops on one leg and climbs up the ropes. Flying headscissors, and out goes Averno. Mascara out after him on the apron – diving headscissors rolls Averno on the floor. Mascara back in after a slight rest for both. Mascara still slightly limping around as he pulls form the crowd. 'Rana on Averno, one two NO. Averno clothesline misses, Mascara casadora cradle, one two no. Máscara off the ropes, back with a spinning – no, Averno turns it into a faceslam. STF! Mascara can see the ropes though, and he's moving pretty well. He's got them. Averno is too tired to follow up, and Máscara pulls himself close to the ropes. Crowd behind Mascara again; this is a lot more técnico friendly crowd that for most of these matches. Averno wildly misses on a dropkick to the knee. Máscara charges, Averno flips him to the apron, then forearms in the face. A couple kicks sends Averno tot the floor. Averno runs – slides out, Máscara back up on the apron, big kick to the head from there, slowly up top – and Averno saves his life by tripping him off the top rope back in the ring. No way was a Mascara moonsault going to be a good idea there. Averno covers, and Tiger Hispano counts despite Avernos' feet being way under the ropes – one two NO. Tiger Hispano checks Mascara's left knee. It seems to be improving. Not sure why the ref is helping a participant, but it's Tiger Hispano. Corner charge, no one home, Averno flips Máscara to the apron, Máscara swing kick (#2!), Mascara up top - flying sunset flip, one two NO. Mascara flipping armdrag into a small package, one two NO. Mascara's had most of the big near falls so far. Mascara casadora into a cam-no, Averno keeps one arm free and breaks from there. Máscara is dropped to the mat, and Averno quickly puts on a half crab. Mascara's got a big brace on that knee, which is very visible thru his pants when it's bent like that. He's also about three centimeters from the ropes, so it's not big problem to get free. Mascara pulls up his pant leg, and Tiger Hispano and Brazo de Oro help pull off that brace. That seems unwise. Mascara can't get upl, so Averno just stomps him. There's still a knee pad there, so I'm not quite sure what they took off. Mascara gets up to his feet, Averno kicks him, backs up, charges, and gets hiptossed way out of the ring. Fans clear out as Máscara goes to the top rope – plancha to the floor! Replay.

Both slow back in, Mascara crawling on his stomach, trying to get away. Averno catches up to him – ankelock! Not Averno's best looking hold, but he's got the knee bent too. Mascara is again close to the ropes, and just needs to turn to grab them. Crowd has quieted down at the moment. Averno misses a dropkick again, Máscara off the ropes, Averno powerbomb, feet on the ropes, one two NO. Tiger Hispano never caught the rope trick. Averno argues the count, and Mascara inside cradles him one two NO. Averno shoulderblock, Both runt he ropes, Máscara springboard into casadora, Averno shoves him off, forward rolling cradle into a kneebar! Mascara stuck in the center of the ring! This time, he's really in trouble. Crowd not nearly into this as you'd expect, though there's some concern. Máscara crawls, crawls, and gets to the ropes. Averno slam. Going up? Averno pauses on the apron, but smiles on the way up. Yelling from the top rope and nodding his head. Crowd is less sure of this then he. Senton con giro misses, and I'm not sure Mascara rolled out of the way. One two NO. This is a long fall. Scoop, slam, mascara is barely limping as he walks to the corner. Up top – senton con giro misses, Averno dropkick to the knee, casita, Mascara escapes and gets his own casita, one two NO. Both up, at opposite side of the ring. Off the ropes evasion, kick, Devil's Wings! Averno does not cover! He picks up Mascara gain, kneebreaker – no, casadora into a campana. Averno – gives! New champ.

The commissioner, with a giant bandage on his head, shows up to give the belt. Averno, as he often does, takes the belt away when they try to put it on the new champion. He's going to do it himself, though not before arguing with Tiger Hispano. Averno's out of the ring right away after that, leaving Mascara to his celebration. Mascara poses, then takes off his belt and walks out of the ring, into the crowd. Cameras don’t' catch up to him right away, , but Mascara eventually climbs up to the rowdy técnico section to celebrate with them. They give him a Porro Tepito shirt and a Mascara banner, which he brings back to the ring with him. Kid Mascara and Brazo de Oro for a three generation celebration.
