Match 1: Dark Angel, Estrellita, Lady Apache © vs La Comandante, La Seductora, Tiffany ©
Arena Mexico, 11/11/2011

  1. técnicas

  2. rudas
  3. técnicas

Winner: técnicas (2-1)
Match Time: 11:30
Rating: eh
Notes: Jumped right to the whistle. Estrellita's back to her 'classic' AAA caution type outfit. Rodolfo is referee.

1: She and newly red haired Tiffany start off. Estrellita angers Tiffany with slaps, and runs off before Tiffany can kill her. Estrellita tags in Lady Apache, and Tiffany's fine to get her hands on her. She probably shouldn't he happy, since Apache gets the better of her at any opportunity, including a corner headstand escape done well, and a springboard dropkick onto done so well (camera hides it well, but it seems to have missed.) Seductora comes in dropkicking Apache and getting in a knee, but Apache is so rolling her around. Push of headscissors, quebradora con giro, tag to Dark Angel. She pulls off a nice inside springboard headscissors to send Seductora out, then gets kicked down by Comandante. Estrellita walks over to argue, which just coincidentally happens to put her right in front of the hard camera when she bends over. Estrellita is many things, but subtle isn't one of them. Comandante sends Dark Angel into the corner but misses the charge. Casadora shoved off, clothesline is blocked, and Dark Angel runs up the ropes for a front flip springboard armdrag. Dark Angel now has a Stop Sign but without actually putting up her hand bit – she just stops, flips her hair back, and sways her hips a bit. Comandante does not hit her. Tiffany grab s Her as she comes off the ropes, but one rudos just ends up kicking the others. Comandante tries chokeslam on Dark Angel, she turns into a casadora cradle for one pin, and Lady Apache finishes Seductora for the other.

There's a WWE12 ad just featuring the Mexican guys airing during this show. That's interesting.

CMLL Cartela: Magadan hypes 11/20 Arena Mexico, Copa Revolucion.

2: Comandante wants to kill the ring girl for some reason, and Tiffany has to pull her back. Estrellita is so upset about Tiffany kicking her that she stops to fix her hair ties. Estrellita dances her way into inverted face slam. Estrellita tries to get a foul call of a low block kick. Estrellita manages a flying armdrag and dancing again, and Tiffany knocks her down from behind. Other técnicos hit on the apron, so I guess it's the beatdown. Rudas try corner charges on Dark Angel but Seductora has to get Comandante to pay attention first. Wheelbarrow faceslam for Lady Apache. Tiffany bites Estrellita's forehead. That sounds unhealthy. Seductora gives Dark Angel a horrible clothesline. Spinebuster for Estrellita, and a giant swing by Comandante. Pin, anyone? Tiffany puts Estrellita in a hairpulling mecedora variant, and apparently that's legal enough to get the submission. Seductora gives Dark Angel a very gentle backbreaker, but Lady Apache gives up to Comanate's Rosa first. Tiffany refuses to break the hold. Comandante puts a boot to Estrellita's face, which looks rough. Tiffany stops beating up on Estrellita to beat up on Lady Apace a bit.

CMLL Cartela: Tuesday @ Arena Mexico, Averno vs La Mascara

3: Rudo control of no particular important. It looks like Estrellita is about to make the comeback when she flips to the apron on a corner whip and swats Seductora down, but her climb to the top rope is cut off by Tiffany, who uses her inverted crucifix powerbomb to drop Estrellita to the mat. Rudas decide to have Comandante add a top rope splash, only Estrellita rolls away. Estrellita awkwardly clothesline the other two. Lady Apache missile dropkick Comandante out, Dark Angel casadora armdrag out Seductora. Apache top rope plancha on both rudas, Dark Angel over the top rope con giro onto everyone. Tiffany and Estrellita left in, Tiffany drops Estrellita with a short powerbomb, whip, Estrellita casadora into an inverted figure four. Tiffany swings around her hair wildly, then quits.

Tiffany eventually recovers and goes after Estrellita.

Match 2: Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero © , Volador Jr. vs Atlantis, Jushin Lyger © , La Sombra
Arena Mexico, 11/11/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:17
Rating: good
Notes: Rudos jump Lyger. Dragon Rojo beats him with his plastic hammer, somehow that works. Ultimo Guerrero is wearing his Tiger mask from the Japan Tiger Mask show. Other técnicos are already in the ring but stomped down quickly. Ref is Tirantes, who's mostly content to watch this. Volador is dressed up as – someone.

1: Lyger getting thrown around while still in his entrance cape is the weirdest thing. He's a bit desperate to get it free, and does so while Dragon Rojo is punching him around. Sombra's tossed up into the ring into Dragon Rojo's dropkick, which goes well. Volador superkick on Atlantis sets up the senton de la muerte. They've got that one figured out pretty well. Rudos hold Lyger for Dragon Rojo to hit. Drop toe hold, double stomp to the back. If the picture for the bodybuilding contest is Dragon Rojo, does that mean he's actually participating this year? Sombra's tripped into the ropes for Volador's legdrop. UG finishes things up, though Dragon Rojo keeps punching Lyger around, though Lyger does punch back for a bit. Sides are listed as técnicos vs Guerreros – Volador probably disagrees.

2: Dragon Rojo now going after Lyger's mask. They try some sort of spot on the ramp and fail – maybe an inverted atomic drop? Maybe a spinebuster? Lyger rolled into to a Dragon Rojo dropkick, as the rudos take care of the other two as necessary. Dragon Lee comes back of a corner charge, sending the other two and sticking in with Dragon Rojo. Spear takes him down. Dragon Rojo rolls out, Lyger goes up – top rope plancha. Other guys wrap up. Tiny crowd is making a lot of noise.

3: Ultimo Guerrero clothesline Atlantis hard and gos for the mask, but can't get it. Next clothesline misses, and Atlantis drops him with a quebradora con giro. Tirantes pulls him off. UG shoulderblock, Atlantis jumps over him, and rolls him to the floor. Atlantis chases him all the up an aisle. Match stalls until they move back. Dragon Rojo and Lyger in and chopping. Dragon Rojo slide out on Lyger and dares hi out, coming back in at the same time and going back to his corner. Sombra and Volador in. I guess Volador is the Predator? That's my guess, I'm handing it in. fast evasion and flipping runs. Volador double headscissors sends Sombra to the ropes but he stays in, springboard headscissors sends Volador out, and Sombra follows with a tope con giro. Volador is right up, and the two start swinging crazily at each other. Volador backs off quick, though Sombra tells him to bring it. THAT was odd. Dragon Rojo in and booting down Lyger. Waiting for Lyger to get up – he won't, so Dragon Rojo goes for the mask. Dragon Rojo up-kicks him, spinebuster, and slapping around Dragon Rojo. Lyger rips up the mask, and the rudos break that up. UG kicks Atlantis to the ropes, Sombra planchas them both, clothesline misses, boost dropkick sends Volador out. UG take the knee bump out right away, and Atlantis follows with a tope on him. Sombra top rope moonsault onto Volador. UG is standing behind Volador, facing away from the ring. When Volador gets hit, UG launches into the crowd. There's notable commotion over there a moment later, with security people and all. In the ring, Lyger tries 'rana on Dragon Rojo, Dragon Rojo rolls thru, one two three.

Ultimo Guerrero rushes in back to celebrate with him. There still seems to be a good amount of attention to whatever happened on the dive side of the ring, and not as much on the finish. Dragon Rojo challenges Lyger for the title, and says Lyger knows enough Spanish to accept. Lyger says he's #1 and makes belt motions. So I guess that's a yes.
