Match 1: Felino, Mr. Niebla ©, Negro Casas vs Blue Panther, Jushin Lyger ©, Rush
Arena Mexico, 10/28/2011

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:05
Rating: eh
Notes: Monito is with the técnicos. Zacarias is with the rudos. Panther goes right after Negro. Lyger actually tries to pull Panther off, while Rush is more concerned with keeping the rest of the rudos from helping out. Referee is Babe Richard.

1: Panther and Negro roll out to the ramp with everyone fine just looking on. Lyger succeeds in pulling Panther back and everyone eventually goes back to their corners, though Negro immediately takes a run at Panther again. He misses, and backs off calmly. Match finally really starts with Niebla and Rush battling over simple holds and degenerating into a slap battle. Niebla checks out after it comes to headbutts. JCR momentarily forgets which belt Lyger has. It scarcely matters. He battles Felino rapidly, going nowhere. That brings Negro and Panther back in. Panther gets the early edge by avoiding a kick and clotheslining Negro, but Negro knocks Panther down and kicks him in the chest repeatedly. Negro kicks one more time and Panther catches it, then dragon screws him. Panther charge into a flip to the apron, Negro kicks him to the floor, and follows with his silla. Lyger uses a variation of the Octagón finish (legsweep to set it up is right, submission seems off) of all things. Negro and Panther keep fighting on the floor

2: Rudos have gotten control during the break. Niebla grabs Monito, but only softly tosses him on the apron. Usual hitting and holding, but the rudos are lax, and Panther breaks free to jump on Negro. Tecnicos sort of rally back but look very disorganized. Rush is outside brawling when Panther is waiting for him to missile dropkick someone. Negro makes his own comeback with dropkicks, Panther puts him in the fujiwara for the win, but won't let go. Referee hurries to jump in and break it up, without even giving a five count, because that's the finish. It does take a lot longer than five seconds to break up the hold.

3: Lyger runs thru Felino with a quebradora and a dropkick. Rush and Niebla chop fight again. Niebla pulls down his top before hitting rush harder, but runs into a powerslam anyway. JCC notes Rush and Niebla have different physiques. Rush and Niebla chop each other a lot more, Niebla spits at Rush, Niebla corner whip revers into a short clothesline, and rush stomps Niebla out of the ring. Panther and Negro brawl some more, and Negro trips them both out of the ring. Felino misses the handspring, Lyger dropkicks him out and follows with a plancha. Niebla dances – spit is caught – and Rush dropkick him out. Tope con giro runs Niebla over. Negro kicks at Panther again, Panther catches the foot again, and Negro pulls him into a short armscissors. Just like the last fall, Panther submits, but Negro won't let go until he's DQed. It's an even long battle to break up the hold. Still no count. Not too concerned about the damage, since Negro seems perfectly fine right now.

Match 2: Averno ©, Ephesto, Mephisto vs Héctor Garza, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada ©
Arena Mexico, 10/28/2011

  1. rudos

  2. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:43
Rating: bad
Notes: Mascara Dorada comes out first, but Mephisto rushes down to forearm him in the back of the head. (They miss the shot.) Ephesto hurries behind, Averno moves at his Averno speed. Rudos stomp down Dorada on the ramp and pull at his mask. Garza is not in any real hurry to make the save. All five bunch up near the camera left side of the stage. Sombra tries to take advantage with a plancha, but the rudos bail and only Garza and Dorada take it. Referee is Tirantes.

1: Rudos bring Dorada back to the ring and kick him around. Slowly. Garza and Sombra make it to the ring to be boot choked. This is not an action packed match, at least to start. Rudos finally rip up Dorada's mask, as they've been teasing for three minutes. Dorada's hair pops out of his mask, as usual. A flying sit on Dorada three minutes in is the first thing close to a move. Just a lot of choking and hitting and occasionally clawing. Dorada ducks a clothesline and headscissors Mephisto out to start the comeback. Other rudos take him out, other técnicos drop the other rudos in position, moonsaults both meet boots, rudos take it.

2: Rudos still not interested in doing a lot. Garza does his required corner miss and tights pull. Sombra is thrown into the front row and pummeled by Ephesto. Mephisto almost loses Dorada on a quebradora, and does a bit better with a backdrop. Sombra gets brought back on the apron to be dropkick farther into the crowd. Dorada takes a backdrop from inside the ring to the ramp. He's willing to do something. Not sure about the other five. Garza finally puts the breaks on a corner charge, and takes out Mephisto and Ephesto. Averno kicks him, Sobra headscissors him, and Dorada gives Mephisto the floating headscissors. Ephesto cuts him off from the dive, but takes the knee bump out himself. Garza and Sombra high five, rip off their shirts, and moonsault off the same corner. Dorada and Mephisto back in, Dorada ranita for two. Everyone beats the count. Dorada flips Mephisto the apron, but has a slow time climbing up. Dora jumps to th rope, but still takes a while to setup Mephisto – and it's Mephisto who gives Dorada a top rope Devil's Wings after all that set up. One two three.

After a break, Mephisto challenges Mascara Dorada for his title match. Appropriately, he stretches it out forever. Dorada has some fire as he accepts, so Mephisto kicks him down.
