Match 1: Fuego, Sagrado ©, Sangre Azteca vs Euforia, Pólvora, Virus (c)
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 09/13/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:48
Rating: bleh
Notes: Refs are Edgar & Samurai.

1: Virus/Sangre start with slow action on the mat. Rey and JCR discuss how hard it is to adapt to being on a different side, re: Sangre Azteca. Bucanero would know. Just a slow exchange of holds between the two, Virus showing a bit of creativity. Stalemate after armdrags. Euforia/Sagrado are in briefly, then Fuego quickly sends Pólvora out with a casadora armdrag. Fuego runs, other rudos go for a double clothesline, Fuego ducks, Pólvora trips him up, and the rudos kick him. Beatdown from there. How did the Cancerberos all manage to wear different non-matching gear. That takes effort, didn't know they had a third kit. Virus, wearing the alternate red gear, rolls up Sangre with a inverted casadora (let's say) and good teamwork finishes Fuego.

2: Rudos in control. Ring card girl is pouts that she can't walk the card down, because Pólvora is busy throwing Sangre to the ring. Holding and hitting beatdown. JCR sure likes pointing out Pólvora & Fuego were teammates in Forjando un Idolo. No one's screwing up moves, but there's not a lot to get me to pay attention to this match right now. Euforia trying an axhandle low blow is not working. Fuego flips out of a corner charge to start the comeback. Sangre Azteca doing the same técnico spots everyone else does is not a great way to use him. Fuego lands his quebrada on Pólvora, then his legsweep into a legs tied armbar for the submission. Euforia brought back in to be dropkicked low. Sangre Azteca dropkicking guys low is not a good use of him either.

3: Fuego chases after the ring girl. Sangre Azteca flips out a Virus monkey flip by landing on his backside. So bad. Rolling wheel kick wings Virus. Pólvora misses the entry dropkick, evasion, Pólvora back elbows him and stomps him down. Crowd is chanting at each other. Euforia big boots Pólvora by accident, better than Sangre’s offense. Euforia corner charges misses, rudos sit him down, low blow dropkick. Sagrado pulls down Virus by his hair before catching him in a headscissors. Easy hiptoss for Pólvora, and the bounce of Euphoria’s back slingshot headscissors send him out. Euforia takes Sagrado’s enziguri. Fuego & Pólvora have a chop fight, and Pólvora bails. Fuego and Virus have a chop fight, and Fuego wins as the crowd screams about something. Fuego cartwheel out of an armdrag, shoulderblocks Virus, and springboard armdrag his out. Euforia ink, fireman’s escape armdrag sends him out. Pólvora back in, and Fuego stars Pólvora down ands Pólvora rushes over and clotheslines him. Pólvora walks Fuego around and yells at the crowd. Whip, reversed, quebradora by Fuego. Quebradora by Fuego. Fuego ducks under a clothesline, mamba dance, turns around and Pólvora just kills him with a low block kick. That was abrupt and painful.

After the replays, Fuego is down hurt, and Sangre has no mask. Sagrado is nowhere to be seen.

Match 2: Máscara Dorada ©, Toscano, Valiente vs Averno ©, Ephesto, Mephisto
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 09/13/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 17:08
Rating: OK
Notes: Avernos enter together. Same refs.

1: Pairs are Averno/Toscano, Mephisto/Dorada – and they never get past that, with Dorada headscissors-ing out Mephisto, Ephesto running into kick him, and Averno and Mephisto stomping down Dorada on the outside. Rudos crotch Dorada on the post (not a DQ!), which finally causes the other técnicos to help. Rudos till take care of them pretty easy. Rudos bring it back in the ring, and Mephisto tries to set a new record for holding up Mascara Dorada before delivering the Devil's Wings. No pin, Dorada rolling out free. Toscano kicked around, Valiente yanked around the ropes. Averno submits Valiente. Rudos eventually set up Toscano on the ramp. Mephisto whips him to the ring, Ephesto flips him in the ring and Averno – kicks him after he lands on his feet. How odd. Devil's Wings anyway, one two there.

2: Mephisto tries to bite Dorada's mask lace, which is tough for a guy with sown on teeth. Averno holds Toscano in a testicular claw for a long time. Mephisto rips up Dorada’s mask. Mephisto tosses him high in the air on a flapjack. Averno bites Valiente's boot. Corner whip for Valiente, Mephisto' chare misses, headscissors for Averno, Ephesto boots him down, Toscano get shim with a springboard armdrag, Mephisto boots him, Dorada gets Mephisto with a springboard headscissors. Dorada runs – tope con giro lands well, crowd is appreciative. Toscano and Valiente scoop up the other two.

3: Valiente and Ephesto flatten each other with chest slaps. Valiente get sin his corner to corner flipping run, then monkey flips Ephesto into another corner. Mephisto clothesline misses, Valiente flips off him, ducks a clothesline, shoulderblock bump, Mephisto off the ropes, Valiente charges, Mephisto flips him to the apron, Valiente kicks Averno away, slaps Mephisto, heads up, and gets Mephisto out with a tope rope headscissors. Mephisto slides thru the ropes to chase after the rudos, but they run away. Toscano stops sign Ephesto so he can strip. Ephesto returns to life to kick Toscano, but his clotheslines of low effort miss and Toscano casadora cradles him out. Averno's corner charge misses, meaningless running, armdrag, dropkick, he's done. Mephisto switches it up and shakes Toscano's hand, hugs him, raises his hand, and then slaps him in the face. Corner whip, Toscano slide out, Mephisto slides out after him, Toscano slides back in. Quebradora con giro ends that. Dorada's turn. Push off headscissors sends Ephesto out. Dorada's fried up to fight with Mephisto after he ripped up his mask, so Mephisto slips in a kick and goes right fro the mask. Both referees warn him, which stops Mephisto from doing much more. Corner whip, reversed, Dorada tossed up and back down with a headscissors. Averno busy pointing to the crowd before fighting. His dropkick misses, Dorada flipped to the apron, back in with a flip headscissors. Bucanero and Tiger are impressed by that one. Valiente back in, missing a dropkick and trapped in the rudo corner. Chopped, whipped back to his friends, Valiente gets his boot up, sunset flip on Ephesto as the other técnicos sunset flip the other rudos, kick outs all over the place. Ephesto and Mephisto rammed into each other, Dorada and Toscano put on the star, Valiente set up for a headscissors cradle on Averno, but Averno tosses him off not Toscano to break up the hold. Dorada makes the save on the pin. Ephesto and Averno kick out Mephisto by mistake, Toscano get the other two with a boot dropkick, Toscano and Valiente with topes on Averno & Toscano. Dorada and Mephisto back in, immediate Toyota roll, one two NO. Dorada waved by, springboard – into Mephisto's anti-air dropkick. Valiente is right there but can't break up the pin in time. One two three. Dorada is the captain, so that's it.
