Match 1: Ángel de Plata ©, Dragon Lee, Pegasso vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Loco Max, Skándalo
Arena Mexico, 10/18/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:59
Rating: not good and then it fell apart
Notes: Joined after the Dr. X salute by the Tuareg, though they still work in their Dr. X shirts. Referee is Pompin.

1: Announcers are already doing weird voices to amuse themselves. That's not a good sign for the first fall of the first match. Dragon Lee and Loco Max spend a while in a figure four, before some armdrags (some of which work better than others.) Loco always tries to grab Dragon Lee's mask tail. Announcers are unaware Pegasso has replaced Rey Cometa in this match! Dragon Lee and Loco Max go nowhere, but keep on going there. About 4 minutes in, and announcers (Bucanero) have just pointed out the Dr. X shirts. Pegasso and Arkangel in, the announcers do realize right away that this is Pegasso and not Cometa. Arkangel focuses on Pegasso's right arm, finally getting him in an upside down figure four. Arkangel switches holds, Pegasso tries to hair pull to get free, and Arkangel drops him with a back suplex. Not messing around today. Corner whip escapes lead to a Pegasso boot to the face. Armbar, tag to Skandalo, axhandle to the left arm, pumps to the left arm, Arkangel pumps Pegasso over the ropes too. Skándalo back to pumping the arm. Loco Max will take a turns pumping the arm. Skándalo pulls Pegasso around, away form his corner, and walks him over to Pegasso – who grabs Skandalo by mistake and pumps his arm by mistake. Pegasso watches all of this, slowly walks backwards, and then eventually makes the tag. No hurry. Angel de Plata in. Plata uses Skandalo’s' fake mohawk to throws him down. Hiptoss on the big rudo, pulled down by his hair again, and kicking him down. Angel de Plata is just a cheater today. Angel de Plata signals for another, grabs Skandalo for a powerbomb, and Skandalo just stands up, hooks the arms, and drops him with the Skandalo Driver. One two three. Técnicos are slow to react and cut off by the rudos anyway. What a weird fall.

2: Beatdown. Skandalo stomping low blow dropkick connects on Dragon Lee. Arkangel gets in his low blow elbow drop on Pegasso. Loco Max really needs a low blow here to fit in. Oh, he have a low blow running kick, to Dragon Lee after Plata has been quickly sent out. Técnicos are kicked around, Dragon Lee is brought in for a third time, he get in a pointless flip, Skándalo takes a back elbow from his partners, and Pegasso dropkicks to the other two. Dragon Lee and Pegasso go for dives. Dragon Lee tries to run up the ropes for a drive, but over shots his first step, trips land on the top rope, and falls badly to the floor. He's able to turn at the last second, so he lands on his shoulder and not his head, but that didn't look good. Pegasso lands a tope con giro on his own. Plata gets the surprise finish his way to beat Skándalo and take the pinfall. Pompin counts out the rest.

Pegasso is checking on Dragon Lee right away. Angel de Plata rolls out after his pin to bring them back in, then is redirected back in. Pegasso comes in to to get his hands raised, as they run the backboard from backstage to ringside. You'd think they would put that near ringside someplace, but someone would eventually use it. Skándalo attacks Dragon lee as they stretch him off, but the técnico and security get him away.

3: Rudos get back in charge, going after the rudos masks. Really going after their masks – Arkangel and Loco rip at Plata's mask as Skandalo unties Pegasso's. Skándalo and Arkangel get the masks, toss them down, and stomp them. That's the match. Rudos show more passion in their stomping of the unmasked técnicos then they did during most of the match.

Match 2: Ray vs Silueta [CMLL REINA IJ]
Arena Mexico, 10/18/2011

  1. Silueta inverted crab??? (3:47)

  2. Ray cartwheel cradle (2:37)
  3. Silueta superplex (7:44)

Winner: Silueta
Match Time: 14:08
Rating: good
Notes: Ref is Bestia Negra. Seconds are Ayumi and Marcela, though they're pretty invisible for the first couple falls.

1: Handshake! Silueta headlock leads to a test of strength, and back out to a Silueta armbar. Sileuta quickly reverses out of it, steps over the arm and armdrags Silueta way very quick. Silueta has an amusingly overwhelmed reaction. Double wristlock, Ray breaks it to a wristlock, Silueta trips her up, ties her legs, and pulls her head back. Sileuta gets out to grab a leg, and bending the leg in for a submission. Sileuta to a cross armbar, Ray out quick to a headlock, out to a front facelock, battling armbars, Sileuta armdrag, and now Ray's the one backing off. Lockup, battling full nelson, Silueta armdrag, Ray charges for zero leg trips, faceoff. Rayo's just a bit faster. Shoves! Hair grabs! Armbars, Sileuta shoves Ray away, Ray rushes back and shoves her down. Rayo waits for Silueta to sit up to kick her in the chest. Off the ropes kick is caught, Ray swings, Silueta spins her around and clothesline her. One two NO. Sileuta fired up. Charge the corner, Ray slips out, slaps Silueta way, top rope armdrag sends Sileuta cross in the ring. Ray clothesline misses, Silueta back with a big swinging headscissors. Casadora into Silueta' inexplicable submission. Ray gives.

2: Silueta pulls Ray around by her hair, but Ray fires up to start slap and forearm battle. They’re much more into the forearms. Ray wins with a Spinning heel kick. Off the ropes, clothesline misses, Ray super fast cartwheel runs by, and back with a headscissors. Silueta to the corner. Ray backs up, charges, cartwheels handspring back press, and a running stunner out. One two NO. Ray stomps Silueta, charges, flipped to the apron, Silueta knock down a and Ray back in with a slingshot elbow drop. One two NO. Ray waistlock, Silueta fights it with back elbows, around into a front facelock and smoothly to a DDT. Bucanero argues that's a martinete? Kind of. Silueta goes for the moonsault, this never happens. Sure enough, Ray pounds her on the back a couple times. Silueta steps down, and Ray throws her with a German suplex, Silueta landing mostly on one shoulder. That was angled all painfully. Ray stands Silueta up. Spinning heel kick, head kick, off the ropes, cartwheel into a cradle! One two three. Announcers mark out. Crowd is anti-Ray.

3: Chest slap fight is won by Silueta by just hitting harder. Off the ropes avoidance ends with a Ray axhandle of all things. She's very happy. Silueta held in the ropes and knife edge chopped many many times, though none too hard. 20 or so? Choke on the ropes! Ray kind of going rudo here, getting an argument with Bestia Negra about the choking, Slingshot out kick to the head, Ray off the ropes, 619 connects very solidly. One two NO. Suplex – no, Silueta blocks it. Rayo with more punches, suplex, Silueta escapes on her feet, Ray still heel kicks her. Corner clothesline misses, Silueta spins out, charge in, Ray kicks at her, Silueta catches it and spins Ray around, Ray spins thru the ropes and to the apron while Silueta turns around. Silueta punch is blocked, Ray reaches in for a shoulder to the midsection, Silueta meets her with a knee. Ray caught leaning thru the ropes – missile dropkick to the side. Ray goes out. Silueta going up? No, but out to the apron for a tope con giro to knock over Ray. Ayumi bends over and gets right in Silueta's face to talk to her, while Marcela walks over to check on Silueta. Silueta picks up and brings in Rey at about 13. Silueta going up herself – missile dropkick connects. Crowd behind Silueta – almost surprised they're just not booing both técnicas, but they're actually rooting for the Mexican. Ray slow up, but Silueta slower climbing the top rope again. Ray smacks Silueta off the top rope with a reverse spin kick, then goes to the apron to pose; twisting plancha to the floor. Ray is so fired up, she doesn't even really sell her own dive. Ray does come back into pose in the middle rope to boos. Silueta back on the apron, Ray rushes her, Ray grabs her by the arm, dueling puce to the midsection, and Ray wins with a hiptoss back in. Silueta dragged in position. Ray claps her hands and heads up – moonsault, looks good, no one home. Silueta covers one two NO. Silueta can't believe it. Silueta picks up Ray – Ray cradles her over, one two NO. Silueta with a kneeling tirabuzón – but Ray won't give. Silueta scoop and slam. Ray dragged in position. Silueta goes up. Is he going to finally do it? Moonsault – connects! One two th-NO! Silueta can not believe it. Ray has a fan section, and they're thrilled. Silueta picks Ray up, Ray push off, Silueta gets in a kick. Whip, quick reverses a Ray kick, 'rana, both legs hooked one two NO.- but out into a cross armbreaker. Bucanero is impressed by the transition there. Silueta turns it over, but Ray is still yanking the arms. Silueta squirming, and has the ropes with her feet. Ray going up? Silueta hits her before Ray can do anything. Both on the ropes. Silueta grab her – superplex! One two three? Two? Three? Bestia Negra does not do the best job of making it clear at first, but then raises Silueta's arm and the fans politely cheer. Neither luchadora reacts like they match is supposed to be over for quite some time. That’s usually a tell.

OH, the weird voice is someone doing a character. I guess that's slightly better.

Match 3: Ángel de Oro, Black Warrior, Delta vs Misterioso Jr., Rey Escorpion, Vangelis
Arena Mexico, 10/18/2011

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:52
Rating: eh
Notes: Ref is Roldofo.

1: Announcers are interviewing Silueta as the match starts. Pairs are Vangelis/Delta, Oro/Misterioso, and Escorpion/Warrior. Warrior's really grown out his hair. Escorpion and Warrior both try Warrior's dance before fighting. Escorpion manages to clothesline Warrior late and goes for his quebrada, but just hits legs. Not sure Warrior actually moved at any point, Escorpion has some bad aim. Warrior gets up and just starts exchanging chops. Warrior drops Escorpion with a roll thru dropkick, the other rudos come in, the other técnicos catch them in Toyota rolls, and that's the match.

2: Escorpion stalks card girl Bruni before the fall starts. Angel de Oro strips off his shirt to start with Misterioso, but the rudo doesn't last before a headscissors into an armdrag. Rey Escorpion is really obvious feeding his arm for Angel de Oro's back spin headscissors. Warrior helps out with a clothesline, and the técnicos are sort of doing a beatdown. Double boot for Rey Escorpion, hung upside down for a Warrior dropkick. Rudos don't want to come in, but Misterioso is persuaded. Just like a técnico comeback the sidesteps corner charge and clothesline the other técnicos. Rudos in no hurry to come in, but isolate Delta. Escorpion flips him to the apron, well times for Vangelis spear thru the ropes. Rey Escorpion dropkicks Angel de Oro low to send him out, and the rudos lift him backwards into the post. Ref did not see it this time, I guess. Rey Escorpion horrible quebrada is no more closer than the one where Warrior “got his legs up”, probably even worse, but Warrior moves to make it look better and Escorpion gets the pin.

3: Beatdown. By the rudos! Oro tossed in the air and kicked in the face. Delta dropkicked in the face and chopped out. Rudos are all challenging Warrior to come in. Warrior is flipped to the apron, slapped on the nose, and Warrior charges – but Warrior dropkicks him out of the ring. Warrior ducks a clothesline, and walks away, as Delta is way slow on the a springboard dropkick spot. TOPE connects with Escorpion, and Escorpion falls into the second rope. Other four all in, Angel de Oro superkicking Misterioso out, Warrior tripping Vangelis off the apron, and Oro doing the inside out moonsault before finding an empty seat for a break. Escorpion and Delta in, Delta's mask is very untied. Counters, Escorpion low blow blocked, Rey Escorpion pulls the mask, but takes too long to set up the cradle. Rodolfo breaks up the pin and gives Delta the win.

Match 4: La Sombra, Rush, Super Porky vs Averno, Dragón Rojo Jr., Mr. Niebla
Arena Mexico, 10/18/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:18
Rating: OK
Notes: Zach is with Niebla. Naturally, Niebla fools around with the character that's been hanging around with the announcers before the match gets started. They go back to interviewing her – La Cochina? - and showing clips of her dancing with Porky.

1: Averno and Rush is slow going, Averno rolling out after a hiptoss and stalling out there. This eventually gets everyone involved. Porky chases Niebla around at a slow speed, and Niebla trips going out to thru the ropes and falls on the floor to get a reaction. It's tough to do that this week. Rudos turns this into a beatdown. Averno unties Sombra's mask while the others fight. Niebla holds Porky for Zach to get in kicks. Dragon Rojo and Rush fighting each other is interesting. Not good, but interesting. Averno finishes Sombra, everyone posing on top, and that's the fall.

2: Beatdown is just holding and hitting. Sombra doesn’t really make it back in before Rush sidesteps a corner charge, ducks a lazy clothesline, and superkicks Niebla. Sombra in with a headscissors on Averno, rudos are all knocked down in the corner, rudos flip Porky and whip him in for the big corner sit. Crowd wants one more, rudos flee, Niebla still gets bell bumped out. Sombra tope con giro connects well. Técnicos sit on the rudos in the ring.

3: Porky is standing on Averno's chest in the corner for a bit. Porky steps off, Sombra covers, and Averno is lucky to kick out at two. Porky and Niebla have a sumo charge, and down goes Niebla. Porky wants to go again too, but Niebla has to do push up first. Porky charges, Niebla gives him the stop sign so he can get in position, sets up, gets knocked down again. Porky offense, include amusing attempts at kip ups and a splash to both Niebla and Dragon Rojo's back. Sombra strips his shirt before taking on Averno. Faceoff, until Averno walks off. They actually do not do anything, tagging to Dragon Rojo and Rush instead. Chop fight goes Rush’s way, off the rope avoidance, Rush powerslam, and hard kick to the back. With the bottom of the foot. That was kinda off odd. Averno in for evasion to set up a Rush headscissors. Dropkick and out goes Averno. Niebla sneaks it for the big slaps. Half dance, but no split. Niebla attacks with spits, but sort of puts himself in the corner so Rush can chop around. Niebla turns it around for his own chops, Rush turns it around again. Niebla eventually ducks one and spits in Rush's face. Corner whip, reversed, and Rush clotheslines him. Niebla clothesline misses, Rush superkicks him. Back to Averno & Sombra. Or not, as Averno tags out to Niebla. Niebla gets the best of Sombra early, runs into a kick, gets slapped to the back of the head, and is ticked out. Other rudos bumble against Sombra, who headscissors Dragon Rojo out and rebound headscissors Sombra Averno out. Rush lands on both of them with his tope con giro, Porky teases a moonsault, but instead does the plancha off the apron instead. Inside, Niebla clothesline Sombra, gets in the full dance, catches the spit, and is caught into a casadora, mecedora spitting spot for the finish.
