Match 1: Blue Panther ©, Metal Blanco, Valiente vs Misterioso Jr. ©, Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi
Arena Coliseo, 07/31/2011

  1. rudos

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:14
Rating: fine
Notes: Ref is Bestia Negra. Graphics now only listening the captain here. Odd.

1: Panther handles Okumura on the mat. Rudos invade and break it up, técnicos quickly chase them off. Yoshihashi wants no piece of Valiente, and for good reason. It takes a while for everything to get settled. Panther immediately goes for an armbar, is immediately attacked by the rudos. This time, they go right head for the beatdown. Everyone kicks Valiente for a while, only Metal Blanco just waits for one of them to turn around, and springboard plancha Misterioso. Japanese just watch as Blanco gets Misterioso in a 'rana, then Yoshihashi alerts Okumura that maybe they send to break that up. It's early, maybe they're feeling slow. Triple boot rids them of Metal Blanco. Back to Valiente, but a double clothesline goes bad on them, and Blanco comes back in again with a double dropkick. Panther rushes in and knocks Okumura out of the ring, then Blanco crushed him (and himself) head first with a tope. Rudos immediately put on submission to win the fall, surprisingly. This seems to be Blue Panther special, let's see where it goes.

2: Rudos still in charge. Valiente is cornered, sees someone swinging near him, and make a move towards him. Too bad it's the ref. I have no idea what Bestia Negra was doing there, but the announcers are amused. Rudos content to hold and hit. Big flapjack for Metal Blanco. Elbow drop by Okumura, just a stomp by Yoshihashi. Panther mauls Yoshihashi a couple times when his partners don't help him quick enough or walk away at the wrong time. Valiente starts the comeback off corner charges – Yoshihashi flipped to the apron, Okumura dodges, Toyota roll for Misterioso, one two three. That's it!

3: Misterioso and Panther start in, but don't get far before Misterioso slaps Panther and Panther needs some time to recover. Panther comes back with a hiptoss, and Misterioso spears the post on a missed corner charge. Okumura cheap shots Misterio, but panther catches him in a small package for two. Corner clothesline/DDT combo by Okumura, and Metal Blanco breaks up the pin. Blanco breaks out the Astro Boy Memorial Front Flip, but slips and falls. Accurate. Anyway, counter spots leads to Blanco off the top rope with a headscissors. Yoshihashi comes in missing a dropkick, and Blanco get him with a casadora cradle. Yoshihashi with a kick, Jackhammer! Valiente breaks up that pin and waves on the crowd. Valiente evades, leaps, hops, spins and drops Yoshihashi with two quebradoras. Misterioso breaks up that pin. Valiente gets Misterioso with a monkey flip, and one back the other way. Misterioso out, and Valiente flips Panther into a pescado on him. Yoshihashi stuns Valiente, but Blanco gets him with a headscissors. Blanco with a nice tope con giro onto him. Okumura in, Valiente gets him with a dropkick to the knee. Valiente waves his arm and then covers – one two NO. Maybe wrong order there. Shoulderblock by Okumura, but Metal Blanco yanks him out. Valiente, runs, hops, and almost slips off the top rope while jumping backwards. Valiente holds it together like only he can, and lands on Okumura anyway. Captains back in. Bestia takes a look at outside, Misterioso fouls Panther, one two three. Boooo.

Match 2: Estrella Mágica, Goya Kong, Lady Apache vs La Comandante, La Seductora, Princesa Blanca
Arena Coliseo, 07/31/2011
Notes: Highlights only. Ref is Rodolfo Ruiz.

1: Comandante posts Mágica back first, but Apache finishes off Blanca with an modified mecedora. Goya Kong powerbombs Seductora for the other one.

2: Poor Estrella Mágica gets a triple pump powerbomb, thrown down hard by Blanca and Comandante on the last. Goya is set up on top, and pulled off for a pin.

3: Lady Apache holds Comadante into a time killing hold. Estrella Mágica with a camel clutch cradle on Blanca. Goya sentons Seductora for the other pin. Técnicas win.

Match 2: Enrique Vera Jr., Super Halcon Jr., Trueno vs Inquisidor, Rayo Tapatío I, Rayo Tapatío II
Arena Coliseo, 07/31/2011

Notes: Highlights only. Only Halcón and Tapatios are shown entering. Ref is Tigre Hispano.

1: Halcón gets one of the Rayos (2?) with a tope con giro. Trueno sends 1 into a Vera shoulderbreaker. Trueno gets Inquisidor with a reinera.

2: Rayo II takes out Halcón with a tope. Rayo I puts Vera in a nudo. Inquisidor gives Trueno the Pólvora Driver, then pulls him in a cavernaria with some help form the Rayos.

3: Vera starts the comeback by kicking charging Rayos. Halcón plancha is caught an dropped on the mat. Rudos miss the senton, Trueno boost dropkicks them out. Vera plancha Rayo II, Trueno springboard plancha Inquisidor (who's a step too far away.) Halcón get a two count off a sunset flip,, then drops Rayo I in front of the corner. Top rope moonsault lands for the pin.

Match 4: El Alebrije, Héctor Garza ©, Volador Jr. vs La Máscara ©, Máscara Dorada, Shocker
Arena Coliseo, 07/31/2011

  1. técnicos

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:18
Rating: angle rific
Notes: Joined with the rudos attacking the técnicos as they enter. Who put Garza in charge? Tiger Hispano is ref.

1: Alebrije and Volador work over Mascara in the ring, while Garza argues with Cuije and hangs out on the apron. Cuije does goose Garza. Despite getting no help, Volador and Alebrije do have things well in hand. (Tigre Hispano seem to be helping.) Alebrije gives Mascara a running hipcheck to the head, though mascara protects himself well. Volador asks Garza why he's not participating, and Garza appears to blame Cuije. Volador is questioning Cuije when Shocker jumps him. Rudos manage to keep things in order, but when they whip Dorada, Garza steps in, tosses Dorada, and fouls him on the way down. Wow, what a jerk! Somehow, Tigre Hispano does not call this a DQ. Rudos surround Garza, but Mascara breaks things up by getting involved. Garza misses a corner charge on him, Mascara headscissors Volador, but Alebrije puts him down with a clothesline. Alebrije lifts up Cuije for the big splash, but Garza dives in for the pin himself! Alebrije puts Cuije down and rushes over to stop the count, while Volador yanks Garza off the pin. Rudos stand up Garza to yell at him, only for Mascara and Dorada to dropkick them down. Now the técnicos all confront Garza, who tries to talk to them. No luck. Whip, Garza ”trips” and falls down Running the ropes, then pulls Shocker's boot on top of him. One two three. Técnicos are disgusted. Rudos yell at Garza on the outside.

2: Everyone ends up back in their corner, except Garza picks a neutral corner to hang out in. everyone is distracted. Dorada/Alebrije match up while Garza sneaks his way over to the rudo corner. Dorada pulls off the outside/in springboard headscissors on Alebrije, who's a bit too fat to slip thru the ropes comfortable. Cuije tries kicks. , Dorada threatens a punch, Cuije coves up, and Dorada tosses him by his mask. Shocker in, and Garza and Volador have a long argument about who faces him. Volador gives up. Garza has to strip before he can start. Shocker is ready to go, but Garza is too busy starting at his partner. Off the ropes evasion lads to a single Shocker tornillo armdrag, and Garza's done. Shocker oles Volador with some handshakes, and tags in Mascara. Crowd loud behind Mascara. He has to take off his shirt before they can get started (avoiding each other.) Mascara headscissors, but Garza pulls him out and slaps him down. Volador tells Garza to hold Máscara for him, so of course Garza tosses him in just as Volador slides out. They argue, and Mascara topes Garza. Break.

Break. And about 3 minutes of Ras de Lona before they return.

Shocker backdrops Alebrije (!) and clotheslines him out. Dorada goes to the top roe – moonsault onto the big man. Volador in, Shocker misses the boot, Volador does not misses on the front cracker. Tiger Hispano does not bother to count (hmm), and just watches Garza come in to pull Volador off. Garza tells Shocker to roll out, and he and Volador discuss. Ref busies himself on the outside, while Máscara comes in and get the casadora campana. Garza stands right by and watches for a moment, before pulling Mascara's mask and handing it to Volador. Ref turns around, looks it over, and awards it to the técnicos.

Garza swears Mascara did it. Volador is not that dumb, but still has to ask Alebrije what the deal was. Meanwhile, Garza leaves thru the front fan exit! Replays and that's it.
