CMLL on Teleformula #51 (06/12/2011)
Recapped: 06/15/11

Announcers are JCR and Shocker.

Match 1: Goya Kong, Luna Mágica, Marcela vs Amapola, La Comandante, Mima Shimoda
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 05/24/2011

  1. técnicos

  2. rudas
  3. técnicas

Winner: técnicas
Match Time: 7:55
Rating: eh
Notes: Referees are Samurai and the new guy, who's name I actually learned but then forgot. Professional! Odd that they're using two here, now that I think about it.

1: Brief Goya Kong showcase – she has trouble getting over on the flip to the apron, Amapola very shakily helps her balance on the top rope for an armdrag – and then other four rush the ring for immediate cradles. Huh. Slow motion replays are about 1/5th the length of the fall.

2: Comandante knocks Luna around for almost the length of the last fall, misses a splash, and Luna sends her out with a mediocre headscissors. Mima's bit with Marcela is weird, both with a kick that requires a camera switch to hide, and her rolling out in pain after Marcela simply whipped her into the ropes. Comandante comes in to actually take the headscissors. Beatdown starts with Goya back in. People keep getting their legs up when Amapola corner charges them, and Amapola keeps spinning them around into the ropes and pulling them down by their head. Rudas go thru everyone, bring Goya back in for another corner charge, and then toss her off the top rope. Mima adds a running senton for a pin. Submissions on other two at the same time to finish it off.

3: Goya Kong really limping as she runs, this time for another corner whip. She causes the rudos to hit Amapola, then lads them into a Marcela plancha. Marcela leads them into a Luna missile dropkick, although she's so slow to do it. Dives appear to be clipped out; Mima is shown grabbing her knee on the ground. Goya slams fireman's carry drops Amapola near the corner, and lands a middle rope splash. One two three.

Match 2: Diamante, Metro, Sangre Azteca vs Ephesto, Rey Escorpion, Vangelis
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 05/24/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:53
Rating: eh
Notes: Hey, maybe if you're pressed for time, you could edit out the entrances? Just a thought. Ephesto's mask looks really good today, not sure if it's the colors or what. Rey Escorpion boots Metro as he enters, and the match starts off there.

1: The other four just kind of stand around watching for a bit. Sangre comes over, so Escorpion brawls him with, then backs away from Metro as he gets up. The other rudos are no help, and the match just ends up starting out like normal, though Escorpion now won't face Metro. Diamante/Vangelis start on the mat. Sangre and Ephesto are briefly next, but Metro flips his partner to safety, then smacks Rey Escorpion off the apron. Escorpion trips him on the next pas, starting the beatdown. Escorpion unties Metro's mask and pulls it all but off while the other rudos keep the other técnicos off. The mask is actually off for a second, but they blur it out. Escorpion stomps Metro out, and the other two rudos pick up pins.

2: Rudos continue to focus on Metro. They do a bit where the other técnicos are knocked off the apron to keep them out, and then Rey Escorpion takes Metro outside. Bad planning. Escorpion backdrops Metro back in the ring, then bits at him thru the mask. I'm not sure Escorpion realizes that CMLL is bloodless. Metro sidesteps a corner charge and clears out the técnicos all by himself. Escorpion is superkicked out, Metro gives Vangelis a quebradora, holds him down, Ephesto elbow drops his partner, Metro holds them down, and hold them down, and the DF referees would've count three by now but Samurai just watches, Diamante finally comes off the top rope with a splash, and then helps hold the legs for a double low blow dropkick by Sangre. Metro runs,s till takes a headscissors on the ramp.

3: Rey Escorpion and Metro just star the fall fine. Escorpion rolls thru a 'rana for a near fall, gets a small package for a near fall, but can't finish Metro. Escorpion argues the call, gets inside cradled for two. Wheelbarrow suplex gets two. Not sure why we're in at the end of a singles match now. Metro starts to grab Rey Escorpion, Ephesto kicks him out, Escorpion follows. Sangre and Ephesto discuss handshakes for no reason, dropkick to the head spot is all mistimed, Sangre gets a small package before Vangelis break it up. Diamante gets him with a headscissors a casadora cradle, but Rey Escorpion breaks it up. Diamante frantically waved for Escorpion to come in, not sure that's how that's supposed to work. Maybe an edit here, but the non feuding rudos bumble, Sangre gets in a low blow dropkick on Ephesto and Diamante follows him out with a tope con giro. Wheel kick sets up a Sangre plancha. Metro & Rey Escorpion in, Escorpion gets a in a kick and a front facelock, struggles for the behind the back mask grab, has to reach under, gets it, and the cradle for the win.

They keep trying to air the Juicio Final promo and Teleformula keeps cutting them off. Show still ends early, they didn't to cut for time.

Brazo vignette airs coming back from break. That's a good way to make sure it's not edited.

Match 3: Black Warrior & La Sombra vs Felino & Mr. Niebla
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 05/24/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnico

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 7:41
Rating: not good.
Notes: Zacarias, with a Niebla afro, is with the rudos. Niebla steals someone's sandwich and spits it out at Felino. Ref is Loco. Rudos randomly jump the técnicos.

1: Niebla goes after Sombra's mask. The seats now have ads on them. Got to put ads everyone. Zacarias gets in the 619 on Warrior, with some help from Felino. Brawling, brawling. Zacarias kicks Sombra in the head, and Felino just sits down on top and ends the fall there. Niebla gets in the Fuerza kneelift, and puts on a modified half crab to end it.

2: Announcers debate if Zacarias is Guapo. Warrior sidesteps a corner charge and Sombra gets in a flying armdrag to star the comeback. Fall is so short. Sombra kicks Zacarias off the apron before hitting his finish, and the fans all chant at Zacarias. Shocker laughs at how short that fall was.

3: Warrior/Niebla is Niebla spitting comedy. Sombra/Felino starts as armpit comedy, then turns into Sombra doing a backflip and Felino landing perfectly timed dropkick. Camel clutch/Zacarias dropkick bit. Zacarias lost his hair! Sombra comes back with a springboard headscissors on Felino. Niebla clotheslines him, and slaps him around in the corner. Niebla dance, spit dispirits and isn't can't be caught. Sombra adjusts Niebla's head with a kick and sends him out with a headscissors. Zacarias in, kicking flapping, dancing, and getting kicked in mid-leap. Warrior dropkicks Felino out and goes for a pescado, but gets caught on the ropes halfway. Crowd gives him a hard time, and Felino runs away. Warrior struts on the apron to make up for it, but Niebla slaps him and mocks him. Sombra in with a springboard dropkick, and out with a tope con giro. Warrior and Felino in. Warrior quickly gets Felino in a time killing submission. They other two come in, and Niebla blatantly fouls Sombra for the DQ.

Averno vignette – the second, newer one - to end it.
