== AAA ==

AAA-Televisa: GdT part 1, but no hints from AAA on what will air (so far). Guessing title match this week, cage match next week.

AAA-Fusion: Between all the tapings they’ve doen so far, there’s 6 unaired matches, enough for 3 episodes, enough to take them thru the holiday season if they’d like. I’ll guess they finish off the Garza show this week with the opening Perros del Mal matches.

== CMLL ==

Galavision/Televisa: Copa Jr. Block B for sure, and probably the Tuareg vs Pegasso/Starman/Super Halcon

FOX: Sombra/UG should end up here if it airs at all, and probably the Avernos vs Azul/Dorada/Rush and Fantasma/Cometa/Triton vs Namajague/Azteca/Okumura

52MX: Invasors vs Atlantida buildup, maybe Marcela/Amapola.

C3: Tama Tonga & Terrible vs Valiente & La Mascara for the tag titles, Guerreros vs Revolucionarios

GDL: Negro Casas vs Angel de Oro for the NWA Welterweight championship.

EstrellaTV (Puebla): probably moving on to a new show this week, which means the start of the latest Atlanits/UG feud and the return of Bronco.

El Luchador: “Only Tony Salazar will decide if the mission is finally accomplished. Shocker faces his two biggest rivals: Mr. Niebla and his fear of commitment. Felino has one last chance to recapture Princesa Blanca. Dragon Lee will bear the responsibility for the most important mask in lucha libre and give life to a new legend.” Final episode.

En Busca de un Idolo: the trios preview of the final. There should be at three or four more episodes after this one.

Terra: The Invasors vs Atlantida trios title match!

== Other ==

IWRG-TVC Deportes: no episode aired last week, so maybe the 11/29 episode airs? Then again, it’s not actually on the scheduled this week either so I’m not sure. Angel/Eterno is on the next title match

IWRG-AYM Sports: leaving this here as torture. Cerbero/Cerbero, Angel/Trauma, a really good tecnico

ACM: it’s about time for a new episode, but only one man knows and it’s not me.

Atlantis vs Ultimo Guerrero, DTU in Arena Aficion, CZW to Coacalco

CMLL (MON) 12/10/2012 Arena Puebla [Porra Fresa]
1) Black Tiger & Milenium b Fuerza Chicana & Saurón
Tecnicos took 2/3. First match for Milenium here since August.
2) Metatrón, Molotov, Sensei b Artillero, Nitro, Súper Comando
Nitro’s return from knee injury. Metatron replaced Metalico. Tecnicos took 1/3.
3) Inquisidor b Super Halcón Jr. [lightning]
Inquisidor wins with about 5 minutes in a rudo dominated match.
4) Dark Angel, Goya Kong, Luna Mágica DQ La Comandante, La Seductora, Zeuxis
Tecnicas took the first. Comandante and Seductora went to attack the tecnicas in the second and were quickly disqualified by Tirantes for the straight fall lose. Even the tecnicas were confused.
5) Euforia, Mephisto, Niebla Roja b Sagrado, Stuka Jr., Valiente
Mephisto replaced Rey Bucanero. Rudos took 1/3.
6) Atlantis, Marco Corleone, Máximo DQ Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Último Guerrero
UG attacked Atlantis from behind before the match. Tecnicos rallied to take 2/3, UG fouling Altantis. Atlantis challenged him to a singles match next week.

DTU (TUE) 12/11/2012 Arena Aficion [Criterio Hidalgo, Estrellas del Ring]
1) Jorge Quebrada b Radical, Slayer Pack
10 minutes time limit. Artikus was listed but did not appear. Jorge Quebrada was a listed surprise wrestler.
2) Rocky Lobo b Lanzelot, Konami
10 minute time limit
3) Barbaro I, Barbaro II, Black Mamba b Hacker, Jhonky, Principe Halocn
15 minute time limit
4) Niño de Ébano & Talaxys b Dowki & Hanaoka and Anaricia & Lucky Boy
15 minute time limit. Only the winning team confirmed (and they had not been listed as teaming with each other.)
5) Keira b Lolita, Paloma Rouse, Sherry Diva, Chica Yeye
Chica Yeye was added to the match.
6) Dement Extreme & Nino Hamburguesa b Extreme Boy & Paranoiko and Araña de Plata Jr. & Pequeno Cobra
7) Daga b Eita, Rich Swann, Dinastía, Flamita, Tribal, Angel Del Mistero [AAA CRUISER]
Included a mystery person from Dragon Gate, which was revealed to be Swann. Daga pinned Swann to keep the title after the others were eliminated.
8) Colmillo Blanco & Drastik Boy L Ciclope & Jorge El Intruso Jr. and Aeroboy & Hormiga [hair]
Youth/Experience teams, with the experienced partners – Colmillo, orge and Hormiga – putting their hairs on the line (and their partners putting nothing.) Hormiga replaced Sangre Guerrera. Colmillo lost his hair when Intruso fouled him with a light tube. There were a lot of spots with a scaffold.
9) Pesadilla b Psicosis, Fenix (AAA), Super Mega, Joe Lider, Dark Dragon
Hormiga was pulled out of this match to work the previous one. Dark Dragon beat Super Mega, Lider beat Fenix. Psicosis & Lider beat Dark Dragon and worked together against Pesdailla, but Psicosis turned on Lider yet again and eliminated him. Dowki and Hanaoka – the Japonesa del Mal, loosely allied with the Perros – ran in to help Psicosis but Crazy Boy ran them off, as well as Daga when he got involved. Pesdailla beat Psicosis with a martinete.

The Criterio Hidalgo report mentions Psicosis broke a light tube over a fan’s head, and threw barbed wire at the front row.

Extreme Tiger vs CZW champion Masada (promo) has been added to the 01/20 Coliseo Coacalco show. I’m uncertain as to why. That’s the show with Matt Cross vs Daga, and another promo on Tercera Caida added Trauma I vs Trauma II. Those two have done that match twice, Trauma I winning both times.

Tercera Caida, which had a lot of highlights from the Arena Aficon show, and focused on the DTU show this Sunday and Sombra vs Tama Tonga this Friday, also had highlights from the Quien Pinta Por La Corona contest. Red Bird Jr., which is a great gimmick, appears to be Freelance in yet another disguise. He’s not Polifacetico but he’s heading that way. The previously unknown Jinzo is said to be an unmasked Tribal.

AAA Fusion included a 3 way tag DTU match that’s said to be really good, and a Consejo vs Perros trios match. No next Fusion taping has been announced yet, and they’ve aired the top 4 matches from this show now, which leaves no obvious matches for next week. I have no idea what that means for next week, which will not stop from speculating later tonight.

Yesterday was change from AYM Sports to Latin American Sports in the US, as part of a bunch of channels I know this happened on all Comcast stations. I’m not sure about other US cable (and other) providers, but I believe this was a universal change. A sad day. If you are in Mexico City or the US and can record IWRG on AYM Sports, I will pay to see a recording Sunday’s IWRG show if you can get it to me.  I and others would probably be willing to pay to see the shows on a regular basis if it was possible, but even if you could never help agian, I’d want to see this upcoming’s show given the matches.

If you’d like to try a different approach, this page has email addresses listed for the portfolio of channels Programming Director and Programming Supervisor. Perhaps if we told them how much we liked watching IWRG and how we’d go out of our way to watch it if they brought over to Latin American Sports, no matter what day/time it happened to be scheduled, they might be interested in helping out. Heck, I’ll pay them too if it gets me this week’s IWRG.

1) Génesis & Oro Jr. vs Espanto Jr. & Guerrero Negro Jr.
2) Leono, Sensei, Tigre Blanco vs Bobby Zavala, Disturbio, Skándalo

4) La Máscara, Máscara Dorada, Tritón vs Mephisto, Pólvora, Rey Escorpión
5) Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas vs Atlantis, Guerrero Maya Jr., Máximo
6) Dragón Rojo Jr. vs Euforia

Dragon Rojo and Euforia get to do their match with warning that it’d be happening this time. Probably not a great sign for Euforia that his friends aren’t there but Dragon’s definitely are.

Leono, Tigre Blanco, Disturbio and Bobby Zavala continue to wrestle each other in segundas.

PdM (TUE) 01/01/2013 Arena Lopez Mateos
1) ? vs ??
2) Hanaoka, Impulso, Terremoto vs Douki, Fly Metalik, Mr. Leo
3) Celestial, Flamita, Talisman vs ?, Cósmico, Eita
4) Fabi Apache & Mari Apache vs Trauma I & Trauma II
5) Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Texano Jr., Toscano vs Daga, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Lizmark Jr.

An actual Perros del Mal show! Like Christmas Day, New Year’s Day looks like it’ll be a busy day of shows. This is a lot of the guys who were on the Hector Garza tribute show.  The mystery person in the tercera is the new female Perro del Mal they’ve been teasing on Facebook the last few days. They’re going to keep scheduling Traumas vs Apaches until it happens.

Tama Tonga & Terrible keep titles, Negro out manuevers Oro again, Pequeno Halcon talks too much

CMLL (TUE) 12/11/2012 Arena Mexico [CMLL]
1) Robin & Soberano Jr. b Camorra & Zayco
2) Bobby Zavala, Disturbio, Taurus DQ Leono, Metatrón, Tigre Blanco
partial rematch after issues between Blanco/Loco and Disturbio/Zavala last week. Rudos again lost in straight falls, DQed for excessive violence in the seocnd.
3) Diamante, Hijo del Fantasma, Sagrado b Hijo del Signo, Sangre Azteca, Vangelis
Tecnicos took 2/3.
4) Guerrero Maya Jr. b Virus [lightning]
Guerrero Maya submitted Virus in 6:59.
5) Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión b Euforia, Niebla Roja, Último Guerrero
Dragon Rojo’s team won in straight falls, Rojo stealing Euforia’s mask and pinning him. Euforia demanded an immediate one fall match with Rojo. The commission surprisingly said okay.
6) Dragón Rojo Jr. b Euforia
Dragon Rojo again stole Euforia’s mask and pinned him.
7) Tama Tonga & Terrible b La Máscara & Valiente [CMLL TAG]
Terrible & Tama Tonga are champions. Match almost didn’t happen; Namajague was sent out with Tama Tonga instead, with CMLL saying Terrible could not be here and they’d reschedule the actual title match for a later date. The match had barely started when Terrible showed up, ready to wrestle, and they restarted as the proper title match. Champions won a quick first fall, tecnicos won a quick second fall. In the third, Tama beat Valiente, Mascara submitted Terrible, and Tama beat Mascara after Terrible tripped him from the out. First defense.

It appears Terrible was late arriving to the show for whatever reason, they didn’t realize until the scheduled semi-main (which caused the very unusual bonus match) and even then he didn’t arrive until the last minute. Past the last minute, actually. I hope Namajague got paid for his minute or so of work! Tag title match was quick because what happened before it had to run long.

It sure does seem like they’re going somewhere with Leono & Tigre Blanco vs Bobby Zavala & Disturbio. The New Year’s Day show seems like an obvious destination, but sometimes they get lost along the way.

Rey Bucanero was back with the announce crew,

CMLL (TUE) 12/11/2012 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [Fuego en el Ring]
1) Black Metal & Virgo b Acertijo & Sádico
2) Höruz & Metálico b Apocalipsis & Cholo
Horuz’s first match here in a year and a half.
3) Pegasso, Rey Cometa, Stigma b Cancerbero, Inquisidor, Raziel
Stigma beat Inquisidor for the win.
4) Atlantis, Diamante Azul, Shocker b Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto
5) Negro Casas b Ángel de Oro [NWA WELTER]
Negro Casas is champion. Negro took the first, Angel won the second with a mecedora, Negro took the match with a casita after surviving many near falls. Casas’ 3rd defense, all versus Angel de Oro.

It’s probably not a good idea to throw your third place bodybuilding trophy into the crowd. It’s definitely not a good idea to follow up by doing a long interview bitterly complaining about finishing third place and not being treated like a star. Unfortunately for Pequeno Halcon, he’s full of bad ideas and – in the weirdest setting for an interview in some time – complains about his lucha libre company while in a dentist office for a YouTube show. Pequeno Halcon, who is booked for the first time in a month this Friday (that’s how you know Sin Piedad is not really a big show), comes off as completely unapologetic for acting like a child, and arrogant about his wrestling skills (which haven’t really improved since he showed up in CMLL.) Halcon says Ultimo Guerrero helped him to get to CMLL; we need one of the En Busca de un Idolo post match skits where Ultimo Guerrero loses his mind after seeing this.
